Chapter 34 (Saiya POV)
"Ayome, Kakashi, breakfast time," I called for them from the kitchen.
When they didn't show up, I went back into the bedroom and found them still fast asleep. I moaned, but then an idea struck me.
"Oh well, I guess I'll have to eat all those chocolate chip pancakes that I made," I said sighing to myself.
"Mine first!" Ayome jumped out of bed and sprinted into the kitchen at light speed.
"Don't forget to brush your teeth!" I called out just as she disappeared around the corner.
"Kakashi sweetie, time to wake up," I said softly sitting down next to him and kissing his forehead gently. "Remember, Hokage needs to speak with you about your mission too."
He just pulled me close and snuggled against my stomach.
"Alright, no breakfast for you," I mumbled and yawned.
At this, he sat up in bed and gazed at me with a burning passion.
"That's fine; as long as I can wake up every day and look at my beautiful loving wife, that is enough for me," he said with a small smile.
I was about to respond when Ayome came running into the room, "Mommy, I'm all ready for breakfast!"
She ran back out and down the hall into the kitchen, where she plopped herself onto her designated chair. I just smiled at Kakashi and responded, "I love you too Kakashi, and breakfast is waiting for you sweetie."
I kissed him long and hard. After we broke apart, he just looked at me and smiled, "I'll meet you in the kitchen."
Ayome was already digging into the pancakes and I sat down next to her and started my meal as well. Kakashi showed up a few minutes later in his usual ninja outfit and joined us at the table.
"Daddy, I don't like it when you leave," Ayome pouted when she finished her meal.
I was already cleaning up when she spoke.
"Honey, I don't like it either," Kakashi said.
"Then why do you do it?" Ayome asked sadly.
"Sweetie, it's our job; mine and your mother's," Kakashi said pointedly.
Ayome just hmphed and waddled off to her room.
"She's stubborn like you," I said lightly.
"Mhm and she looks like me too," Kakashi said quietly into my ear.
He snaked his arms around my waist and started kissing my neck.
"Kakashi, we don't have much time; and I still have to get ready for our visit to Hokage's office," I murmured but didn't resist.
He turned me to face him, "She can wait."
And with that he crashed his lips onto mine, and I didn't resist. I could feel myself becoming aroused as I let him explore my mouth.
"Ewwwwwwwww," we heard Ayome's voice and quickly broke apart.
"Ew? Ayome, do you want mommy and me to fight?" Kakashi said sternly.
"No!" she said.
"Okay, let me go get dressed now okay? We'll head out soon," I replied smiling big.
Fifteen minutes later Kakashi had Ayome sitting on his shoulders and I was sporting jeans, a black turtleneck and my ninja gear. Ayome was squealing in delight as the wind whipped her hair back.
"Again!" she said when we stopped in the courtyard in front of Hokage's office.
"When we go home okay honey?" Kakashi said sweetly. "But for now you can stay on my shoulders."
"Yay!" she hugged her dad's head.
When we arrived, Tsunade was waiting for us, as well as Naruto, Sakura, and Jiraiya.
"Hello Kakashi, I see you got back from your mission safely, and it's good to see you too Saiya," Tsunade said formally. "It's been too long."
"Yes it has Lord Hokage," I said, bowing respectfully.
Tsunade's gaze landed on Ayome, "And who is that?"
"Who is who?" Kakashi questioned.
"The little kid on top of you," Jiraiya clarified.
"Oh, this is my daughter, well, our daughter," Kakashi explained.
Everyone's jaw dropped, and they erupted.
"Since when?!" Naruto yelled.
"Who's the mother?!" Sakura yelled just as loud.
"SHUT IT ALL OF YOU!" Tsunade thundered then cleared her throat when everyone had fallen silent.
"Explain yourself Kakashi," she said as calmly as possible.
"Before you start though, who is this fine young woman?" Jiraiya asked slyly, slinking his arm around me.
"That would be my wife," Kakashi responded icily.
Jiraiya froze and then slowly retracted his hand.
"When was the wedding?" Tsunade questioned us.
"It was a few years ago, Naruto was there," I said.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Sakura turned to Naruto.
"They told me not to tell anyone," Naruto whined.
"Doesn't matter now," Tsunade sighed. "She looks just like you Kakashi."
Up until now, Ayome stayed silent until now, but she spoke, "My name is Ayome."
Everyone turned to look at her and she hid her face in Kakashi's hair.
"Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww, she is so cute!" Sakura said. "Can I hold her?"
"She's a little shy, but you can try," I said smiling.
Just then, Gai, Kurenai and Asuma walked in.
"Kakashi! Saiya! It's been awhile!" Gai said in his strong voice.
(Unknown POV)
I watched the scene unfold from my perch outside. They have no idea what is in store for them. Now the two of them have a weakness, and master will exploit it perfectly.
