Chapter 35 (Saiya's POV)

"So, who's the kid?" Asuma asked, pointing to Ayome, who was resting comfortably on Kakashi's shoulders.

"She's my daughter and her name is Ayome," Kakashi stated calmly.

Asuma, Kurenai, and Gai were struck speechless, and Asuma forgot to hold onto his cigarette. It fell to the ground as his mouth fell open in shock.

"Since when?" he demanded once he had gotten his voice back.

"I'm tired of telling the story, Saiya it's your turn," Kakashi sighed.

"Alright alright," I said hastily.

I summarized our story in one minute flat.

"Mission now, catch up later," Tsunade said firmly. "Kakashi, I want you to test Naruto and Sakura to see how much they have improved. "

Kakashi nodded once and put Ayome down, "Daddy has to go to work now okay? Be a good girl." He kissed her forehead softly.

"Bye daddy!" she hugged her dad's neck and skipped to me.

I scooped her up into my arms.

"I'll see you tonight," I murmured.

He, Naruto and Sakura disappeared through the doorway.

"Saiya, I think you know where to go next," Tsunade said sternly.

"Yes Hokage-sama," I bowed respectfully and left her office, with Ayome in my arms.

"Mommy, it's Saturday," Ayome said.

"Yes it is," I nodded in agreement and smiled at her. "And you're going to preschool."

"But it's closed though!" Ayome pouted.

"Honey, you know it isn't, so don't try to get out of it," I sighed.

Her eyes welled up with tears, "But mommy, I don't wanna go."

"Ayome, I promise that I'll be there to pick you up as soon as both hands on the clock reach the top okay?" I smiled. "So you keep an eye on that clock."

"Okay mommy," she sniffled slightly.

"That's my brave little girl," I said and rasberried her face.

Ayome giggled and squealed happily. We walked hand in hand to her preschool.

"I'll be back soon sweetheart, love you," and with that, I gave her one last kiss.

I watched her disappear into her preschool and then teleported to mission center.

"Am I late?" I said as I poked my head through the doorway.

"Nope, right on time," I heard Genma's familiar voice.

"Haven't seen you in a while," I smiled as I took my seat next to him.

"Well, I've been here. You on the other hand," he shook his head at me.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Since when was it you and Kakashi?" he raised his eyebrows.

"Since, well, since 4 years now almost," I chuckled lightly.

Genma sighed in defeat, "Oh well, I lost my chance."

I let out a short laugh, but then busied myself with work

People came in and out all morning, chatty and talkative. Genma and I were busy handing out assignments.

"Genma, I'll be back in a few minutes, I have to go pick up my daughter," I said, standing up and stretching.

"You guys had a kid?" Genma asked with surprise.

"Yup," I nodded.

"How did you guys manage to keep it secret for so long?" he asked curiously.

"What? The relationship or my daughter?" I asked.

"All of it," he clarified.

"I'm not sure, although not leaving the house might have been the number one cause," I smiled wryly.

"So today is bring kid to work? I look forward to meeting her; I bet she's a mini you," Genma said.

"Oh, then you're in for a surprise," I laughed and teleported.

I reappeared in front of her school and walked in.

"Hello, I'm here to pick up Ayome," I said genially.

"Oh! Saiya! Kakashi came in earlier to pick her up; said something about a surprise lunch for you," she said absently.

I frowned. Kakashi hardly ever came to get her; plus he was with Sakura and Naruto.

"Okay, thank you," I left the building with a slight frown. I jogged to the field where Kakashi, Naruto and Sakura were training.

"Kakashi!" I called out.

"Saiya, what are you doing here?" he asked with surprise.

BAM! Naruto came out from nowhere, landing a barrage of punches on Kakashi; but he was faster.

"Still too loud Naruto," Kakashi's voice came from behind me. "Saiya, what are you doing here?"

"Didn't you pick up Ayome from her preschool today? The secretary told me you had," I said slowly.

Kakashi's visible eye frowned, "I've been here all morning."

My eyes widened with horror, "Then, where's Ayome?!"
