A/N: Getting back to the story! Sorry for the long absence. I will make it up to you very patient reader. Enjoy!

Chapter 5

It was her! The girl from the party, my locker mate, my one night dance stand. HER! I recognized her blue nails along with her brownish-red hair and "K" necklace. I nearly had a heart attack in the church. I was absorbing too much information at once! I learned her name, who her father was and what kind of status she had with the town of Austin. She was none other than the pastor's daughter. I think she recognized me too. Her face began to turn a light shade of red. She looked like she was about to lose focus. I listened at her angelic voice. She was singing innocent church songs, and everything about our actions last night were less than that. Finally the service ended and I needed fresh air, fast!

"Oh, wasn't that a lovely service, Amy?" my mom asked.

"Very lovely." I choked.

As soon as we got into the car, I texted Shane.

AMY: I FOUND HER! TEXT ME BACK ASAP! SOS!

I waited impatiently for his text. It couldn't come fast enough.

SHANE: Woah there! Who is it? How did you find her?

AMY: Her name is Karma Ashcroft. Does that name ring any bells?!

SHANE: It rings many. Meet me at the coffee shop downtown at noon. There are some things you should know...

My head was spinning. Shane knew something about this girl that I didn't so I was completely paranoid. Noon came around and I convinced my mom to let me take the car to the coffee shop, since I wasn't insured on the new car, she was very hesitant, but I managed to convince her. When I arrived Shane was already there.

"Hey!" I said nearly losing my breath.

"Hello, daughter of God." he jokingly mocked me.

"Very funny. Now please, let's get down to it. Who is Karma Ashcroft?"

"Well, Amy, you came to the right person. I happen to know every warm body that roams Hester High, it's like a gift that I-"

"SHANE! Get on with it!" I interrupted.

"Okay, well Karma Ashcroft is Reverend Ashcroft's daughter, which you obviously found out today. She had a little thing with Liam. They were dating on and off until she just stopped talking to him and avoiding him. She always seem to show up at all of his parties and all of any other Hester parties. She's not the squeaky clean girl that she looks like. She definitely has a wild side."

"So is she a lesbian? Bisexual? Pansexual? What?" I was so eager to find out.

"Rumor has it, she had a fling with a girl in San Antonio. But all rumors are derived from little lies." Shane replied as he took sips of his coffee.

"So what should I do?" I asked, still in a daze of confusion.

"What would any young single lesbian do?" he asked.

"I should maybe talk to her. Just to see what she is all about."

"That's one way to do it." Shane laughed.

"Why? What's the other way?" I asked.

"Push her up against her locker and make out with her and slowly slip-"

"No. Shane, you're great at giving advice but I'm just focused on talking to her as of right now." I laughed.

"Well, that's what Liam almost did to her." he laughed.

We finished our coffees and left for home. I was ready to meet Karma tomorrow and talk to her face to face. That night I had trouble sleeping. I was nervous but also excited. I was finally able to know who this mystery girl was. Now was the time to formally introduce myself to her.

A/N: Since I had not written on this story in a few months, I forgot where the story was time-wise. So it jumped from Friday to Sunday. My bad! Continue to read the story as normal! Thank you for the reviews and views!
