CHAOS: Sorry for the long wait but I update when the chapter is done and betaed and sometimes it takes awhile for inspiration to come to me so don't be bummed if it isn't updated for awhile.

********HELP THE VOICES TAKE OVER THE WORLD!********
There was a knock at the door when they had just woken up. Ryou went to answer it while Bakura cursed the person at the door, but not literally. When he opened the door it was to one of the older women in the village. "Hello Ryou. I am sorry for disturbing you but the elder wishes to have both of you come to the village to talk about something," she said.

Ryou and Bakura looked at each other nervously before nodding and following her to the village center. Along the way several of the other people in the village waved at them or said hello. Once they reached the elder's house, the woman told them to go in and to not be worried.

"Hello Ryou, Bakura. I am sorry to have disturbed you this early but I wished to make sure that you wouldn't try to run if you heard what happened," the elder said.

"Why would we have run, sir?" Ryou asked confused.

"Well when one of the children went to get some water from the pond for their parents they found this bottle and a note. Would you like to see them?" the elder asked.

Both nodded to confirm that they did indeed wish to see the bottle and note. The bottle wasn't much to look at unless you had a keen sense of smell which both of them did so they were able to pick up on the scent of an extremely toxic poison. This caused both the demons to glance at each other nervously as if this had been emptied into the lake it would only need a few hours to kill every living this in it and make it deadly to drink.

The note was rather interesting as it stated:

This bottle contains the strongest poison I could

find on such short notice as this. This should be able to

kill whatever it is you want to kill, Bakura.

"The bottle does, or did, contain a rather powerful poison but this note is completely fake since we make our own potions and none of them are poison," Ryou said.

"I am not accusing you of anything at all. I actually just called you here so I could see your reactions and I am fairly certain that you didn't use this poison at all since you both look so nervous, but I can't let you go until we know for sure that you didn't use this poison or at least get it from this Seto person," the elder assured them with a smile.

"How would you be able to tell if we're lying or not? Bakura asked.

"Well this village is rather accepting of the immortal beings and not in the least afraid of them since we are protected by some demons who we helped a long time ago and said that they would watch over us. Whenever we had something like this occur they would come and see if the ones convicted of the crime were actually the ones at fault as well, so I have no doubt that they are coming here," the elder said.

*****In the house on the mountain…*****

"CASSTERIA!" Ren yelled as she stocked down the hall toward said female's room. Once she reached it she yanked open the door and dragged Cassteria from the room as said girl kicked and screamed at the cloacked girl.

Yugi and Ray sat in the main sitting room as their sisters yelled at each other in the hall. Ray was cluching a bucket in his lap and looked extremely pale, well paler then usual.

"Why the hell did you wake me up at such an early hour?! You know—Ray why do you look like someone in Henna just died?" Cassteria asked as soon as she walked into the room.

"Because some idiot decided it would be funny to poison the lake. Ren says we have to go soon and someone has to make sure that I don't pass out from the lake being poisoned," Ray answered before puking into the bucket.

"Are you sure you'll be fine for the journey and trial?" Yugi asked as he rubbed Ray's back.

"Yeah. I'll be fine and besides I have to go to heal the lake from whatever poison it was they used," Ray answered with a weak smile.

The four siblings grabbed their cloaks and made their way to the stables, helping Ray get on his horse and stay on the horse. Ren tied Ray's reins to Yugi's before mounting and starting the decent to the village that lay in the valley.

*****Back in Henna Village*****

Ryou and Bakura were playing checkers as they waited for the demons to come to the village. The elder sat watching the two with a cup of tea.

"Checkmate, 'kura," Ryou said moving a piece.

"Damnit! You always win at this game," Bakura said.

"You need to stop using the same technique every time Bakura," Ryou stated.

A soft knock on the door stopped any retort Bakura could have had. The elder opened the door to see the woman who had gotten both demons. "Eliza spotted them about a mile from the village, elder," the woman said.

"Thank you, Betha," the elder said.

Betha nodded and left as Ryou and Bakura walked out of the building with the elder. Standing out side the door, the trio spotted the group of four as they came closer to the village. It only took about five minutes before the group stopped in front of the house.

"Elder, what has caused the lake to become poisoned?" one of the cloaked persons asked.

"So the lake is poisoned. We believe that it was this bottle but we are not certain," the elder said handing the bottle to another of the cloaked people.

"Crantin poison. Hard to come by because the ingredients are hard to grow if you don't know what you're doing and the process to make it takes at least a year for the weakest. I would say this one took about fifty years to make considering it poisoned the lake in less than an hour and form the smell it emanates," the person who had been handed the bottle said. "Only the top potion makers can make this and since this one is so potent I would say they either have demon blood in them or are a demon."

"That would explain Seto's role in this," Bakura muttered.

"Seto?" the person said. "I can see him making this for someone without asking for a reason but for how powerful this is…"

"What is wrong?" Ryou asked, never let it be said he didn't care about others.

One of the other two people tapped the first one on the shoulder and whispered something to them.

"Do you also say this?" they asked of the last one. They nodded before gripping the horse's mane tightly. Both of the demons could tell that the person was not felling well.

"I can say that these two did not poison the lake but were likely set up to take the blame. I will go to Seto's and see what he has to say. If he knows anything of what may have happened, I will get it from him by any means," the first person said. Even without being able to see their face, both Ryou and Bakura could tell that they did not want to be on their bad side.

They didn't wait for a reply before leaving at a gallop. The Elder looked at Ryou and Bakura before saying, "Why don't you take them to the lake? They may need help."

The two shared a look and before nodding and heading to the lake. They were not expecting two of the people to be the boys they had meet the day before nor to become friends with them and their sisters in such circumstances, but they did and it placed a target on their backs they wouldn't be able to remove. Ever.

1: Seto is the potion/poison maker and a lesser demon. He's also terrified of Ren after she nearly killed him with a twig.

Bakura: Well that could not have been a happier ending.

Ryou : 'Kura be nice. At least she updated.

CHAOS: Yes at least I updated. Speaking of I have no idea when the next one will be for this story. I kind of started it from the ending and didn't think about what to do for the middle and beginning. Please leave a review?
