I'm sorry for the wait guys. I'm a day late. It was just that I was reading fanfics so I didn't actually manage to update. If it's short, I'm sorry...So...yeah...Alright, we're getting even closer to revealing what on earth do my hints mean, but not this chapter, maybe in future chapters. :) Anyway, R&E!

Disclaimer: Bla bla bla I don't won Ninjago, bla bla bla! Now, on to the story!

Kai's P.O.V.

I feel as if there are people staring at me. I groaned. I forced my eyes to open. I saw the guys, Nya in the Samurai suit and Lloyd looking at me. I frowned.

"Why are you guys all looking at me like that?" I asked. For an answer, they all sighed in relief. I rolled my eyes. Great answer guys, really. I rubbed my eyes and sat down, hurting myself in the process. Darn, I almost forgot about the bite. It was still excruciatingly painful, but at least now I can handle it. I inwardly growled. But come on! Couldn't it just go away already?! Was that too much to ask?!

"Are you alright?" Nya asked me. I looked at her as if she were crazy.

"Of course I'm alright. Why wouldn't I be? I just got bitten, that's all." They looked uncertain.

"Just got bitten?" Cole asked, raising an eyebrow.

"It was no picnic for my parents when they got bitten, Kai." Jay said crossing his arms.

"Plus, Lloyd said you fainted a few seconds after you got bitten." Zane protested lastly, but I rubbed them off.

"I was probably just over reacting. See?" I tried to prove my point by standing up, but I instantly got back down. It hurt even to just stand! I'm starting to get annoyed.

"No, I don't see." Lloyd dully answered me and I growled. He wasn't helping. Nya glanced at me with concern.

"You better head home. You need to rest." Nya said and I shook my head. I flinched afterward. Even shaking my head is painful?!

"No way! I can still be useful! I'm not all useless!" I exclaimed. I could tell that everybody was worried and unconvinced. I even caught Cole rolling his eyes at me. The nerve.

"Face it ninja, you're not going to be of any use to us. You'll probably just be a distraction." Nya...no, the Samurai told me. I furrowed my eyebrows. Sheesh, you don't have to be so hard on me, Nya.

"I'm not gonna go back! Lloyd should go back, he was kidnapped!" I argued. Lloyd glared at me.

"Hey, I don't wanna go back too!" Lloyd protested. He pouted like an annoying child. Oh wait, he is an annoying child.

"Well technically, both of you were kidnapped so both of you should go back." Jay said. I glared at him.

"Shut up Jay!" I snapped. You're not helping.

"Hey, easy now. I was just trying to tell the truth!" He said and smirked. I resisted the urge to strangle him then and there. His smirk just got wider.

"Then here's the deal." Cole said, probably tired of my argument with Jay. "Jay, you go with Kai and Lloyd back home to make sure they don't get any bright ideas to go back, while Zane, the Samurai and I will look for the antidote to get Kai back to normal." Cole ordered. Jay groaned.

"But-"

"No buts, Jay!" Cole scolded, making Jay groan even louder. It was my turn to smirk at his misfortune.

"You should probably get going, while the sun is still up." Zane suggested. Jay, Lloyd and I simultaneously groaned. Cole gave me my sword. I was about to protest, but the look on Cole's face was dead-serious. Even though we hated to, orders were orders (apparently).

"This us all your fault, Jay." I muttered to him. He scowled.

"My fault?! How is it my fault?! I was only stating the obvious..." I rolled my eyes. This was going to be a long day.

"You're gonna take shorty with you." I demanded. Jay shook his head.

"Nu-uh, Kai. There is no way on earth..."

Jay's P.O.V.

"...Will I take Lloyd with me." I deadpanned. I was now in my Storm Fighter, with little Lloyd on my lap. I heard Kai laugh mockingly through the radio. "Laugh all you want Kai, but I'll get back at you somehow." He never answered.

"Go faster Jay!" Lloyd demanded. I groaned.

"If it's fast you want, it's fast you'll get, kid." I said. I set my engine to the highest acceleration. I heard Lloyd yelp through the roar of the engine. I laughed, the feeling of flight made me want to scream for joy. I slowed the jet down, because I swear his face was as green as a green ninja suit.

"Oh, so it's a race you want now, huh, Jay?" Kai challenged over the radio. I laughed in excitement.

"You bet!" I exclaimed. I set the engine to the highest acceleration again. There's no way I could lose to Kai. After all, jets are naturally faster than motorcycles.

Kai's P.O.V.

"Ha ha! Woohoo! I won! I won!" Jay gloated. "Beat that Kai!" I looked at him, really, really annoyed.

"Ugh, it's that stupid gecko's fault that I lost." I snapped, remembering the pesky little gecko landing particularly on my face. Jay smirked.

"Tsk, tsk, Kai. Blaming the poor innocent gecko for your loss." Jay grinned boastfully. I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever." I groaned. "Where's Lloyd?" I asked Jay, just remembering the little brat.

"Oh, him? He's throwing up today's brunch." I scowled at Jay.

"Well, if Sensei Wu gets angry, don't point your fingers at me." I said before walking inside the Destiny's Bounty. It was strangely quiet. Too quiet. I almost called Nya's name before I remembered that she was with Cole and Zane.

"Jay, do you have any idea where-" I stopped half-way through my sentence. I realized that Jay wasn't behind me...but I could've sworn...I ran outside, but Jay was nowhere in sight.

"Jay?!" I called. No response. "Jay, where are you?!"

"Oh, he's below the deck like the others." I furrowed my eyebrows and turned around. It was Skales. I growled.

"I thought I left you behind in Ouroboros." I said. The sentence sounded more like a question. Skales grinned and slowly slithered toward me.

"You really think that a locked door could trap me in there forever?" He asked rhetorically. "Besides, you still didn't say sorry for breaking my privacy." I rolled my eyes.

"I'm so sorry, hypnotic freak." I glared at him. Suddenly, the floor below me opened up and I fell through. I found myself at the lowest part of the Bounty.

"Kai, behind you!" I heard Jay scream. I looked back too late. I suddenly found myself entrapped in the tail of a certain Constrictai general. I could tell the Constrictai was smirking.

"You're dumber than I thought, ninja." Skalidor mocked. "Being capture three times a row by us Constrictai isn't one of your brightest moves." I scowled.

"Pretty ironic, isn't it? The dumbest member of the dumbest snake tribe is calling me an idiot." I countered. Skalidor squeezed me tighter, making my vision a little blurred.

"Watch your words, ninja." Skalidor sneered. "Or I might accidentally kill you." The threat made my nerves on edge. I had a feeling that he wasn't bluffing.

"How pleasant it is to see you with us again, fire starter!" Skales exclaimed, feigning excitement. I rolled my eyes. I ignored him, and watched Jay and Lloyd intently. Great, they were captured in a cage. Terrific.

"Are you looking for your dear Sensei?" He asked. Even though that was definitely not what I was thinking about, I was suddenly worried for him. Where is Sensei Wu?

"If you want to know, he's outside, suffering the heat and exhaustion of the desert." Skales deadpanned. I glared at him. "He's been there an awfully long time. I fear he might eventually die of heat stroke." Skales said, giving me his most malicious smile. "You don't want that, don't you?"

I wanted to use my Sword of Fire then and there and strike him, but then I realized that I must have dropped it when I fell down the hole. Plus, I was a little tied up at the moment, so I decided to entertain the crazed Hypnobrai general for a while longer.

"What do you want?" I snapped at him. Putting every amount of hate I have for the Serpentine in a single glare. That just made him laugh with evil joy.

"What I want is for you to make a decision." He said. I raised an eyebrow. Choices given to you by villains aren't exactly the best around. "Decide ninja. Come with us, or let your friends die."

"What if I don't want to choose?" I challenged. Skales smirked; The wrong reaction I wanted from him.

"I love it when they say that." He said and snapped his fingers. In an instant, a Constrictai shot from the ground. He took Lloyd and quickly went back underground.

"Another snap of my fingers ninja, and that Constrictai will leave the brat underground to suffocate." Skales explained. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"You're bluffing." I tried. Skales raised an eyebrow. (If snakes even had any)

"Oh, am I?" He challenged. I gulped. I was worried for the kid, even if he is an annoying brat.

"You can't do that, he's just a kid!" Jay suddenly exclaimed. I glared at Jay. Be quiet, for once in your life, before you get into trouble.

"Would you like me to give another example, fire starter?" Skales mocked. "This one is especially fun to destroy." He getured to Jay. Jay was obviously affected. I felt sweat trickle down my back.

"Don't do it Kai. Going with them is bad business." Jay warned, despite the obvious danger he might encounter. I sighed sharply. Reaching my decision.

"Jay, when Nya comes back..." I said, sighing nervously. "Tell her I'm sorry." Jay widened his eyes.

"Kai, no-"

"I'll come with you." I said in defeat. Skales chuckled darkly.

"Perfect." Skales grinned.

"Now." I said, my tone dangerously low. "Bring them back. All of them." Skales rolled his eyes.

"Bring the old man and the brat back here this instant!" He exclaimed. Two Constrictai shot from the ground. One held Lloyd, shivering in fear, while one held Sensei, who was out cold.

"Sensei Wu!" Both Jay and I exclaimed at the same time.

"Leave them here." He commanded. The Constrictai holding Lloyd was unsure.

"I thought Pythor gave orders that this brat should be-" He noticed Skales' glare instantly shut up. Both the Constrictai let their prisoners go. Skales turned to me, an evil gleam in his eyes.

"Now, let's head to Ouroboros, shall we?"

"The venom is starting to take its effect. You must know of the plan by now." I was in a cage, completely fire proof. I didn't even care to look up when Skales arrived, but his statement definitely made flinch. The plan was terrifying.

"Yes," I muttered. My mind was filled with thoughts of my friends, my brothers, Sensei Wu, and especially Nya. What would happen if they were to die by my hands? I'd never forgive myself. I glared at Skales, trying to defy him. "But I will never do it."

"You cannot stop your fate ninja. No matter how much you try." He continued, his voice controlled. I suddenly stood up in anger. I gave him the most menacing glare I could give.

"I'll never stop trying." I spat, hatred evident in my voice. He laughed mockingly.

"We'll see about that, fire ninja." He said, leaving me to dwell in my own thoughts. There was no way they could win. I would never give up. I would always keep fighting. I won't let my friends down. I'll never-

Extreme pain coursed through my whole body. I wasn't even able to scream in agony.

Give in, child of fire. There was a distant voice echoing through my mind, repeating those same words over and over again. I glared at nothing in particular.

I said I'll never give up. I'm going to stick by my word. I'll resist even until my last breath.

Give in, the voice said, more forceful than before. I smirked through the pain and agony.

...Never...

Woah! Dramatic, much? You can guess what will happen to Kai, and if you get it right, then you're really smart! (Or you're a mind reader O.o) Anyway, for an update I'll need a review. It's kind of the fuel I need to keep running. Sorry if I sound too demanding, I just really want a review! Anyway, R&R!
