Hey guys! I'm sorry for the long wait, school was tough, but now it's our semester break so I may be updating a little more often…I don't know for sure, because we were left with piles of homework but I'll do my best! Anyway, I can see that the review numbers are reducing so if y'all don't mind, can you please review? Every review counts! R&E!

Disclaimer: When was the last time I did this? Oh yeah-oh wait, that wasn't it….Well anyway, I don't own Ninjago or any character here. Except maybe for the OCs I'm probably gonna put here, but anyone else? Nope, not a chance.

Kai's P.O.V.

Ugh. My head hurts. It feels like I've been sucker-punched by a boulder before I crash-landed on cement from a hundred feet. My whole body ached and my brain felt like one of Cole's burnt cake mush. I tried to remember what happened before I most likely got unconscious.

I remembered being captured by the Serpentine and being taken into a room alone with Skales, but after that, I couldn't remember anything. Great, my whole body is sore and I have amnesia. I furrowed my eyes when my vision cleared. Skales was looking at me.

"Uh, hypno stalker, why are you looking at me?" I snapped. Skales jumped once I spoke, which made me kinda confused. "What? Was it something I said?" I asked, smirking at his reaction.

"You...you're back to your annoying human self!" He exclaimed. I raised an eyebrow. What does he mean by that? Wait a second, aren't I supposed to be tied up in chains? Why didn't they make an effort to constrict me or something?

"Your eyes are still blood red..." What? My eyes are blood red? Can somebody get me a mirror here? "...but you have free will. This is—" There was a knock on the door.

"Skales, he wants to talk to the ninja now." The Serpentine who knocked said, nervous. I raised an eyebrow.

"Who's this he you guys are talking about?" I asked. Skales ignored me and just hissed, annoyed.

"Alright then." He said, and went outside. I grew alert and unsheathed my sword.

"Now, now, no fighting." A Fangpyre came in. I pointed my sword at him and growled. That's not just any Fangpyre, that's the Fangpyre who bit me. I don't know how I knew...I just know it's him. I held my sword tighter, ready to slice that guy's head clean off...which surprised myself. I know I can get angry easily, but I never actually thought of killing anyone.

"I said, no fighting." He commanded. I don't know why, but I dropped my sword. I widened my eyes.

"How did you do that?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.

"Young fire starter, (I used the same name Skales gave him! :D Okay, I know, I'm a disturbance to the story, but I mm just warning you guys that I'll be doing that throughout the chapter. Mwahahaha! :D) I am of special blood. A Fangpyre specialist, as others may call me. The first and only one in our whole Serpentine race." He explained. I raised an eyebrow. A Fangpyre Specialist? What does that mean?

"It means," He said, as if he read my mind. "My venom does not make organisms snakes. Rather, my venom—when inserted in the organism's body—gives me the power to control that organism. Even more so than that of a Hypnobrai's." He said. A fire started in my heart. No one should control me. He noticed my reaction and smiled.

"You know what's the best part?" He asked rhetorically. His smirk grew wider. "Our venom has no known antidote." I visibly tensed.

"Anymore news you wanna give me?" I spat, despite my anxiety. "Who are you anyway?"

"Bosco." He said. I raised an eyebrow.

"Alright...Bosco," I said the name as if it were poison. "Did you actually want to talk about something or did you just come here to boast about your powers?"

"Oh yes, that subject." He said subject like he was saying that we were going to a carnival. I shuddered. A Serpentine's idea of a carnival was always a bad idea. "I'm here to give you a choice." He said. I rolled my eyes.

"Again with the choices?!" I asked, annoyed. "Don't you Serpentine have something better to do?" He ignored me.

"You can listen and obey to everything I say," He said. I raised an eyebrow. As if I was ever going to do that. "And I will let you have your freewill."

"And my other choice?" I said, pretending to ponder on it.

"I remove you of your freewill, and you'll be forced to do everything I say, without your consent." He said plainly. You've got to be kidding me. He seriously expects me to decide?

"Both choices sound pretty much the same." I said, still pretending to ponder on it. "So I think I'm gonna say no to both of them." To my surprise, he smirked.

"The second choice it is." He said. He sent me two mental images. They were both horrific, and I somehow knew that both would be the result if I choose either choice. I was right, both choices would end up having the same result.

His eyes glowed red, and I suddenly felt the pain I felt when I was bitten. I got a little used to it by now, so I didn't scream, I just yelped, but I still couldn't stop the darkness from overcoming me.

Nya's P.O.V. (For some reason, I find it easier to write in her P.O.V. Hmm, probably because we're both girls...)

I went back to my room after my moment with Jay. When I got there, I was surprised to see him observing my Samurai tech.

"It is amazing what you can do in such small time. The ninja should learn a thing or two about you, Nya." I stared at him, dumbfounded, before I snapped back to my senses.

"Sensei! How did you find them?" I asked. Sensei Wu smirked at me.

"I knew right from the start." He then told me the story of his discovery...

Flashback happening now:

(A.N. This is my way of explaining. Flashback's have no P.O.V. If ever there are stray thoughts then that would be mine.)

Sensei Wu walked by Nya's room. He stopped when he heard a beeping sound from it. He raised an eyebrow. He creaked the door open slightly, to reveal Nya in her Samurai suit, with the exception of her helmet.

"Ugh, don't tell me you're running out of battery now!" She exclaimed. The beeping stopped and she sighed. She put her helmet on. "I should definitely do a technical report after this." Sensei Wu tilted his head for a better view. He knew that Nya had been hiding something. It was only a matter of time before Sensei Wu found out. Once Nya flew out the window with her jetpack, he closed the door and smiled to himself.

Good luck, Samurai Nya. He thought as he went to check on his nephew.

Flashback ending now…..:)

"Wow, I can't believe I was clumsy enough to not lock my door." Sensei Wu smiled and shook his head slowly.

"You were still careful enough to keep it a secret from the others." I smiled at this.

"Yeah, the guys are pretty clueless." I stated. My smiled disappeared when I remembered my brother. "Except now, Kai knows." I lowered my head.

"You can either sulk about it, or take action." He said sternly, making me look up at him, surprised.

"Don't give up on him so easily..." Sensei Wu said, and shook his head sadly. "Just like what I did to my brother." He said. I widened my eyes.

I remembered how Lord Garmadon and Sensei Wu fight. They fought so much, I always forgot that they were both brothers. I only now realized just how painful that might feel, seeing him corrupted by evil. A fire ignited in my heart. I can't let the same happen to Kai. I should do whatever it takes to get him back.

"Well, I think I'll be leaving you here to freshen up." Sensei said, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Come down if you think you're ready." He left my room.

I locked the door and changed my clothes. I brushed my hair after and checked to see if I had any dirt or soot in my face. I was just about to go out, when I saw my right arm. I gasped. I almost forgot! If the guys see that I had a burn on my right arm—exactly like the Samurai's—they'll get suspicious. I dressed my wound and put a leather jacket on, concealing my burn, and opened the door. I gasped when I saw Lloyd standing in front of me.

"Nya! There you are!" He exclaimed, looking like he was just about to knock the door. "Sensei wants you in the dining room. Cole and the others are already there." I nodded.

"Okay, I'm going." I said. Lloyd raised an eyebrow.

"Where were you anyway? You missed so much action earlier." He interrogated. I tensed.

"I was just...probably out in Ninjago City! I was there for about...3 hours." I lied. He still looked suspicious. I inwardly face-palmed. Ninjago City?! That is extremely far from here! I hoped Lloyd didn't know about distance yet. Plus, 3 hours seemed like a pretty short time to me, compared to what I just experienced.

"But what were you doing—"

"We should probably get down now!" I exclaimed, faster than I wanted to. "The guys are probably looking for us." I said. Lloyd rolled his eyes.

"Alright...weirdo." He muttered the last part, but I heard it loud and clear. I furrowed my eyebrows. Someone really needed to teach Lloyd some manners. Once we reached the dining room—the place we usually held meetings due to lack of vacant rooms—I was met with worried and defeated faces. I frowned. The mood of the room was gloomy. Jay perked up once I entered the room.

"Hey Nya!" He said cheekily. I rolled my eyes, but I had a smile on my face nonetheless.

"So...what's the news?" I asked, even though I already know the answer. They looked reluctant to tell me.

"Kai was….different." Cole started, unsure of how to tell me the news. "He attacked all of us—"

"But it wasn't out of his own will." Zane interrupted. "He was struggling to take control." He explained.

"We also found that he was part of an ancient prophecy of the Serpentine. One including wiping out all things on the surface of the earth..." Jay backed up. "And they thought Kai was the perfect one for the job." I flinched.

"Typical." Lloyd muttered, loud enough for me to hear.

"And the Samurai...just left." Zane concluded. Jay crossed his arms.

"Yeah, the traitor..." He muttered. I felt guilty. I really wanted to tell them the truth right then and there, but I held back. Not now... A small part of me said.

"Yeah, I know, I was there." I said. "I think he did it for a good reason, though." I reasoned.

"Yes, he did." Sensei said, to my relief. It was the first time he spoke up since I got here. "Now Nya could join you." Everyone had shocked faces, all except for Jay, who blushed, probably remembering our previous time together.

"Are you sure you're ready Nya?" Cole asked me. A fire ignited in my heart.

"What, you think I'm not ready because I'm a girl?!" I snapped. Cole looked shocked at my sudden outburst.

"No, I'm just not sure if you're ready to see Kai...You know, the way he is." He said. I inwardly groaned. Oh you have no idea...

"I'm ready." I said confidently. Sensei nodded.

"Then I suggest you must all rest and prepare for the journey." He said. No one countered. We all needed the rest to face Kai again. Who knows how bad Kai's condition is right now?

Sensei Wu's P.O.V. (Um, don't sue me if I get his personality wrong...)

I was deep in meditation. My face contorted as I received many bits and pieces of a distant future.

Ninjago in ashes...Kai's blood red eyes glowing in the middle of darkness...

...

Now, for your entertainment, something different!

No P.O.V.

Kai walked through an underground cave with Bosco and Skales. Once they were on the edge of a cave wall, which was the perfect view to see the deep center of the cave, they stopped. In a trance, Kai grabbed his sword of fire, and drew a small circle in the center using flames. Once he was done, he turned to Bosco, a smirk on his face.

"Do you have the ingredients?" Kai asked him. Bosco smiled maliciously.

"Of course I do." He said, and handed Kai a small pouch. He cautiously pulled out the contents inside. All of which came from the Golden Weapons' original resting places.

Rocks from the deepest caves of the once resting place of the Scythe of Quakes, (A.N. Has no name, sorry. :P) the coldest Ice—preserved by magic—from the Frozen Wasteland, and a magical jar containing storm clouds from the Floating Ruins.

Kai threw the contents one by one into the fire. Once all components interacted, there was a burst of light. Once the light died down, a single cloud was floating where the fire once burned. The cloud dispensed rocks, to hail, to lightning, to fire in a never-ending cycle.

"That's it? A small cloud of smoke?" Skales asked, clearly unimpressed. Kai inwardly scoffed at his cluelessness.

"Of course it's not. It will be completed in 2 days." Kai answered calmly, despite his annoyance of Skales. Meanwhile, somewhere in the deepest parts of Kai's consciousness, was a small flickering flame. It was small, but defiant, despite Bosco's continuous efforts to get rid of it.

That small flickering flame was his freewill and hope.

Sensei Wu's P.O.V.

I gasped, as my eyes shot open. My worst fears have been realized. I fear that the ninja will have their toughest battle yet.

It's alright, I assured myself. My students are ready for these types of situations. Yet I still had a small hint of doubt in my heart.

What if they weren't? What would happen then?

Okay, that is the end! I hope that was good. I am never EVER, going to do Sensei's P.O.V. ever again. That was just too hard. Well anyway, I have nothing else to say but: PLEASE REVIEW! I'M BEGGING YOU! Now, it's almost 10 p.m. and I need to get some shut eye. Good night! zzzzzzzzz
