Welcome back guys! So, it's my Christmas vacation so hopefully, I'll be able to make 2 chapters in this period of time. I have a very short time for vacationing: From December 20 until January 3. Some of you may think it's not that short but I feel like it isn't since I'm still elementary. Whether that or I'm used to long vacations. Well anyway, I have some important news that you cannot believe! (Whether literally or not, really.) NINJAGO IS COMING BACK IN 2014! You heard me (or read) me right! Now, for proof (real or not) search in youtube, "Ninjago 2014" There should be video responses there (as always) so just click the 1st response by brickshowtv. Whether or not you believe, at least there is hope that our favorite show is gonna be continued, even though it's a year from now. Anyway, R&E!

Normal P.O.V.

"Bosco, I'm sorry if I ask but, are you sure you want the fire starter to do this?" Acidicus asked Bosco. He watched as Kai continuously hit a dummy until he got tired and burned it into ash. "I mean, that's the 3rd time he did that." Acidicus rolled his eyes at the fire ninja's short temper.

"You already know of the prophecy, right?" Bosco asked, already knowing the answer.

"Well yeah, but-"

"Unless you can find another human who has the power of fire, you might as well get used to him." Acidicus sighed. Bosco left him be to go to a place who knows where. Acidicus then entered the training room. (or at least that's what we call it since Kai was training there) Kai noticed the serpent's entrance. He ignored him and quickly went back to what he was doing—practicing his fire-aiming at the poor dummies. Acidicus growled. He did not like being ignored and being treated like filth by a puny human.

"You should give me some respect ninja." He spat. "After all, I am in your side now." ...Or perhaps, the other way around. He inwardly added. Kai just rolled his eyes, further annoying Acidicus.

"Why give respect to the snake who showed me my worst nightmare?" He asked sarcastically. Acidicus hissed, annoyed.

"Because I just might do it again." He threatened. Kai ignored him and went back to what he was doing. Acidicus was just about to spray him with his venom to give the ninja a piece of his mind, when Bosco suddenly entered the room.

"Fire ninja, you should get ready. I've been alerted that your...friends are coming." Bosco ordered, ushering Kai to follow. Kai obeyed diligently, but behind Bosco's back, he pulled his tongue out at Acidicus, as if he knew that Acidicus was planning to strike at him. Acidicus glared daggers, but tried his best not to harm him—which was not so much.

Zane's P.O.V.

"Zane, do you feel anything?" Cole asked me as we all got out of our vehicles. When we all woke up at dawn, we all decided to get ready and look for Kai earlier than we planned, since the sooner we take action, the better. I felt a sudden shiver down my spine, despite the desert's high temperature.

"I sense that they are preparing for us." I said, my sixth sense screaming 'Danger!'. "They knew we'd come." I felt a warm presence behind me. I tensed. It was Kai.

"You were always right on those kinds of stuff." Kai said as he slowly approached us. He smirked. His aura was extremely dark. We all readied our weapons. Nya, however, just did a battle pose. She looked unsure of what to do though. Without a weapon, Nya looked absolutely clueless with as to what she should do.

"Hey Kai, you seem...different." Cole said, seemingly sarcastic, but he was actually concerned for Kai.

"Really? You mean all that training paid off?" He smirked. "Or did that idiotic snake give me just enough threatening words to say?" We all looked puzzled. We all had no idea what he was talking about. Suddenly, all the Serpentine generals, excluding Pythor, appeared from the ground.

"I already told you fire ninja," Acidicus said 'fire ninja' with disgust. "You should show me respect since you are on our side." Kai rolled his eyes. It seems that these two had an argument earlier.

"Eh, I just didn't feel like it." He said, making the Venomari Snake General hiss in annoyance. He ignored Acidicus and readied his sword of fire. I did not know if it was obvious, but I felt an aura just as dark as Kai's from it. The Golden Weapon doesn't look so golden in Kai's grasp.

The tip of the sword was actually turning black. Kai seemed to notice this too. He pointed it at the ground before us and a black and purple flame shout out of it, just barely missing us. The sand melted once fire hit it. I was shocked. Sand only melts at extremely high temperatures. Was Kai's fire really that hot?

"Well that's new." He commented, shocked and impressed.

"Did you guys just see that?" Jay asked. Everyone was too shocked to answer. "Kai's fire was black! And it just melted sand! It takes 4,200 degrees fahrenheit to do that!" He exclaimed.

"Yes. It is probably because of the blackened tip of Kai's sword." I said and pointed to the tip of Kai's sword. Everyone, even Kai and the serpentine, looked at it, shocked. Kai eventually got over his shock and threw the fire over our heads. We all dodged.

"Hey! Watch where you're pointing that thing!" Cole exclaimed, annoyed. Kai ignored him.

"It feels weird. My fire's bigger, and feels hotter than before..." He clutched his sword tightly. "It feels great, actually." He smirked. He pointed it at us.

"You Serpentine deal with the ninja." He said, avoiding contact with neither of us.

"Why only us? What are you going to do?" Skales protested. He glares at Kai as a sudden realization dawned on him. I gasped. "You still have feelings for them? You still care for them, don't you?" The others were shocked when they heard Skales' accusation. Nya looked especially bothered.

Kai looked away. "Just do it."

"Bosco will definitely punish you for your weakness, fire starter." Skales warned as the Serpentine attacked us, leaving Kai standing there, feeling confused and empty. Don't worry Kai, we will help you.

I readied myself as Skalidor was directly approaching me. I saw him swing his tail at me and I knew exactly what I was supposed to do. I jumped up and did a backflip, making him land his tail on the ground. The Constrictai General grinned in recognition.

"Hey, I know you. You're pinky! Well, you're not that pink anymore but-" I swung my shuriken at him, wounding and freezing his arm. "Hey! Ow! I was still talking!" He swung his tail at me again. I dodged, but he swung his arm at me and choked me. I tried to swing my other shuriken at him, but unfortunately I dropped it.

"You're not so tough without oxygen now are you?" He said, mocking me.

"O-of course..." I gasped. "I-if you were i-in my situation, y-you would t-too." I felt oxygen leave my lungs and my vision was starting to leave me. He harshly let go of me. I lay there on the ground, gasping for air.

"Goodbye, pesky ninja." I vaguely heard him say before he harshly push his staff on my stomach, delivering the final blow. Before I became unconscious, I noticed Jay and Nya collapse, though I did not see Cole anywhere.

Cole's P.O.V.

"See that, earth ninja? You're team mates have fallen," Skales said, having a bigger ego than his head. "Then so will you." I dodged another one of his attacks. I looked around. No matter how untrustworthy that snake was, he was telking the truth. Everyone, even Zane, is unconscious. I was actually surprised Nya held on for that long. With no weapons, I figured she wouldn't last for more than 5 minutes. She was tougher than she looks. She never ceases to amaze me with her fighting skills. I wouldn't be surprised if she was actually better at fighting than her of her brother, Kai was nowhere in sight. He must have slipped away while we were fighting. Skales must have been thinking the same thing, because he rolled his eyes.

"Typical. He always held back when it comes to fighting you ninja." He hissed. I inwardly grinned. I was glad to know that Kai still had at least a little fighting spirit left in him. "He always boasts about him easily beating you, but now that he actually has the chance, he runs away like a coward." I growled.

"At least he wouldn't do a thing to hurt his friends. " I groaned, slashing my scythe at him. "At least he wouldn't hurt his friends no matter how hard you try to control him!" He smirked.

"Yes. He even has more will than you do." I glared at him and tried to land a punch on him, but he caught my hand and twisted my wrist. I yelped. I did a 360 kick on Skales, making him let go of me.

"Just give up Cole!" Skales and I looked up to see Kai, grudgingly walking toward us. He was dragging his sword on the sand, like it was a roller bag. Skales looked at Kai like he was an annoying fly.

"You should show more decency than that, fire ninja!" A voice shouted from nowhere. Unexpectedly, Kai turned from unwilling to very, very willjng to kill me.. I was caught off guard and dropped my scythe. Once I snapped back to my senses, I desperately tried to get it back, but Skales beat me to it. I gulped. I was going to fight my brother, a well-trained ninja, and a hypnotic Serpent with no weapon.

Kai kept slashing at me at different directions, like he wanted to end this quickly. I had a bad feeling it would, but I won't be the one left standing. Skales slashed at me after Kai. They were alternately striking me, making it very, very hard for me to dodge. I groaned. I had a feeling that I would need a lot of bandages when we got back to the Bounty.

"Finish him off!" The same voice from before hissed. Kai growled and slashed even faster. I gulped. Whoever that voice is, I'm definitely gonna have a word with him. Skales slashed at me, but this time I was prepared. I smirked, and grabbed the scythe, surprising him. He held on to the scythe tight. Big mistake, overgrown snake.

I dragged him with all my might toward Kai, making them crash unto each other. I laughed victoriously.

"They don't call me the alpha ninja for nothing!" I grinned. Kai rolled his eyes.

"No one calls you that." He snapped. He then smirked, which surprised me. I looked back, and a Fangpyre slammed a hammer on my stomach. All the oxygen in my lungs escaped. I groaned, trying to stand back up.

"You should make sure you have won the fight before you should boast." He said. I growled. He was that stupid voice who kept motivating Kai. Before I could react, he delivered the final blow, making my whole world turn black. Despite that, I somehow still heard voices from the distance.

"Fire ninja, you will be severely punished for your incompetence." I heard a whip slamming against something. Kai screamed in pain.

"If you don't want another whipping, you should show less care for the ninja next time. They are the true enemies."

"Y-yes...master."

Wow, I suck at fight scenes. T.T I hope you guys like this chapter even if my fight scenes are...eh :P. Anyway, now you see that Kai's still fighting. There's still hope right? Wrong? Leave your opinions in a review! :)
