Summer Swirl helaled the paintbrush in her mouth as she delicately painted the canvas. She was doing a commission for a pony who asked her to draw their foals for them. Paint had gotten in her pink flowing main and on her white coat but she didn't care.
She was startled when she heared a knock on her door. She set down her paintbrush and walked to the door, paint on her hoofs making a trail for her painting station to the door.
She twisted the door knob and there stood Princess Twilight Princess.
"Oh Pricness! What can I owe this great honour of you on my doorstep?" Summer asked, flicking her hair out of her face. Her yellow headband was splattered with blues and greens. She'd have to wash it later.
"May I come in?" Twilight asked, rather impatiently.
Summer blinked.
"Sure," she said, stepping aside to let the lavender alicorn inside.
Once she was she inside, she shut the door.
"So.. you wanted to talk to me?" Summer asked.
"How does my brother know you?" Twilight said getting right to the chase.
She played dumb, her blue eyes blinking in confusion.
"I'm sorry. You have a brother? I never knew," She said, smiling sweetly.
Twilight's horn glowed purple and the letter flew out of her back an into Summers face.
Summer read it and her eyes widened, and she was glad they were behind the paper so Twilight couldn't' see her face.
"I have no idea what this is. This isn't my handwriting," She said.
Twilight put the letter back into her bag.
"Are you sure. Because your name IS Summer Swirl isn't it?" Twilight asked.
"Well yes, but there's sure to be more than one Summer Swirl," she replied.
Twilight narrowed her purple eyes.
Summer smiled sheepishly, hoping Twilight would not see through her act.
"Well okay then. I hope you have a good day," Twilight said, turning and walking out.
"Y-yes of course dear Princes," Sumer said, shutting the door behind her.
She slid down her door and sighed.
She quickly went to her desk, and grabbed a wad of paper and a pen.
Dear Shining Armour. We cannot be meeting as frequently as we may like, since your sister is catching on to us. Let tonight be the last time we see eachother for awhile. A night to remember. Shining… I'll ask you one more time, divorce Cadence and come with me. Live with me. Be happy with me. I knows I said the last time would be the last time I ask, but this time im being serious. I love you Shining armour.
