The Nightmare Boy- Chapter 2 : The Date
I could not believe my eyes. The boy literally from my dreams right in front of me. Somebody once said "Dreams can come true" but I don't think he meant it like this.
This is our newest student, Lok Kurenai, I'd you all to make him feel very welcome today. Said the teacher.
And I'd like to have a motorcycle, but that's not gonna happen. Sakyo told the teacher.
The whole class except me, Lok and the teacher laughs this off.
Do you wanna get kicked out of this class. Says the teacher.
It's my dream. Sakyo said. Sakyo was serious about wanting a motorcycle, he always wanted to impress all the girls including me even if he doesn't admit it.
Twilight, wait up"! Shouted Lok.
"Oh hey Lok, what's up?" I questioned.
"Nothing, I just thought I'd walk you home". Lok said.
"Sure, but it's a half hour walk". I told him.
It's worth it since you showed me how things go. Lok said.
"Thanks Lok". I told him.I thought if I walked with him I could prove that Lok was really from my dreams.
So far its been 28 minutes and all he had told me was that he's parents were dead, he lives alone, and the blood red scars on his hand were a sad reminder that his parents are dead.
"Thanks for walking me home." I manged to simile. It seemed like a romantic moment so I leaned in for a kiss. The moment was ruined when my nosy sister Glimmer opened the door.
"Hey Twi-loser, you getting in or what?" Glimmer mocks me. Damn her. Glimmer just loves messing with me ever since my first grade gradation and her 2nd gradation. I tripped on her while I ripped her dress and accidentally threw up her and dumped food all over her. Everybody still laughs at that. I still remember her saying "One day I'll make you wish you were never born". Ever since then, she's trying to make my life miserable.
"In a minute". I say.
When I thought it couldn't get worse my mother came.
"Twilight, hurry up your dinner's getting cold, and who is that boy"? My mother questioned.
"He's just a friend from school. Its his first day so I was his school guide". I admitted.
"And he walked the thirty minutes with you, how romantic! " My mother similed.
"Mom!" I hollered.
"Since he walked with you how about he eats dinner with us." My mother suggested.
"Alright then, I guess I could have a bite." Five minutes later we were about to eat when I saw my mother slapping Kira's hand.
"Owwww! What was that for"! Kira whined.
"You know that you must pray before you eat something. Even if its just one bite". My mother proclaimed. Soon we held hands and Lok's felt ice cold, its was like he didn't have a pulse. Soon we started eating.
"So tell me Lok, you have an older brother. Preferably taller, more good looking". Glimmer asked.
"No, my parents passed away before they could have any more children." Lok confessed.
"So Lok, are you Christian?!" My mother asked.
"Mother!" I hollered.
"What? If he's gonna marry you, I need to know religion he is". My mother says calmly before sipping her tea.
Both me and Lok spit out my mother's homemade lemonade. Mine got over Glimmer and her designer clothes.
"What the fuck Twilight!?" Glimmer hollered. I ignored Glimmer and focused on my mother.
"Mother i'm not sure if i'm really for that yet, i'm still waiting for that special someone and also i'm still too young to be thinking about that". I say.
"Same for me. I've been a virgin for 18 years, If i'm gonna be married I want to be with someone I'll want be with the rest of my life." Lok said.
"Amen to that, I've been a virgin all my life, I want to be married once and that's it" I admitted.
"But the two of you are so young and good looking, you can get anybody you want." My mother spoke.
"Whatever, I can't wait till go to college and leave this Hell hole called Evergreen Town". I say before biting my sandwich.
A couple of minutes later me and Lok found ourselves outside in my front yard.
"Sorry about my family, they just don't understand". I admitted.
"Its ok, to start over what do you say we go to the beach and hang for a little while." Lok suggested.
Sure, I guess. I reply. Idiot! Why didn't I say no, things would have gone differently if I had said no. But my stubbornness got the best of me and I just had to know if he was really from my dream.
"But wait, I don't have a car." Lok says.
"It's a good thing I made a copy of my brother's convertible." I stated. I was filled with porn magazines, books filled numbers of girls he either raped, cheated, had sex with, or kissed, and deodorant, and certain types of Colognes. Besides that it was a pretty cool car, the kinda of car that people had sex in and with only two seats. We got to Evergreen Town Beach just in time before sunset. The sky looked beautiful since the setting sun gave it a nice orange yellow color. There were several clouds stretched out across as well and the wind was helping cool down the early autumn heat. The wind blew a gentle breeze that my black hair rustling. My white dress kept flapping in the wind very slowly.
"Lok, I'm really we came here, it's just so perfect here." I admitted. Without warning Lok grabbed me by the waist and hugged. I thought he was gonna tell me he loved me but I saw a silver blade near my shoulder and backed away.
