Chapter 3: Family Problems

As Naruto left the academy gates leaving behind an injured Uchiha and an angry Namikaze, an anbu appears.

"What do you want Inu-san?" Naruto asked in a blank voice.

"Hokage-sama wishes to talk to you at the tower," says the anbu.

"As he wishes," Naruto said with a sigh as the anbu shunshined both of them to the Hokage's Tower.

As Naruto arrived the anbu vanished. There stood in the Hokage's office was Kushina Uzumaki and Minato Namikaze the Yondaime Hokage.

"You called Hokage-sama?" Naruto said bluntly, at which Minato frowned, and Kushina cried a bit.

"Naruto-kun why do you call me that I'm your father?" Minato tried to reason with a sad smile.

"My father died several years ago," Naruto said with no emotion.

"Naruto-kun, why do you act like this, we are your family, your parents?!" Kushina complained as she poured out her heart, which made a spark make its appearance.

"PARENTS, FAMILY, SINCE WHEN HAVE EITHER OF YOU ACTED LIKE PARENTS!" Naruto yelled as he made both adults flinch while Minato puts his head down.

"BOTH OF YOU NEGLECTED ME, BOTH OF YOU FOCUSED ON NATSUKI, AND WHENEVER I ASKED FOR THE SIMPLEST THINGS YOU SAID YOU WERE BUSY OR YOU HAD TO TRAIN NATSUKI!" Naruto shouted even more making Kushina cry even more.

"EVEN ON MY BIRTHDAY WHICH I SHARED WITH NATSUKI YOU IGNORED MY VERY EXISTENCE, OH AND THAT'S NOT ALL I HEARD IT ALL THAT ONE NIGHT! I HEARD YOU MINATO NAMIKAZE! YOU GAVE AWAY ALL MY INHERITANCE TO THAT LITTLE PRICK OF A SIBLING NATSUKI! YOU EVEN SAID YOU WOULD GIVE HER THE SPECIAL SUMMONING SCROLL INSTEAD OF ME! AND I HEARD YOUR EXCUSE AS WELL, YOU SAID I WASN'T STRONG ENOUGH AND THAT I HAD NO TRAINING WHAT SO EVER, YOU DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO TRAIN ME, NO ATTENTION… AT ALL!"

"YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS!? THIS IS NO FAMILY, YOU ABANDONED ME AND EVEN LET THE VILLAGERS BEAT ME TO AN INCH OF DEATH, AND WHAT YOU DID..WAS watch," Naruto yelled but he started to calm down.

"I am done with you, and I'm no longer under Namikaze or Uzumaki, I am my own person, goodbye Hokage-san," Naruto said as he began to fade.

"What have we done Minato!? We lost our son!" Kushina cried out as she broke out in Minato's embrace.

"I don't know Kushina, but I'll try and fix this, the best I can…"

(Somewhere in the village)

"Might as well look for a weapons store and get some swords, Zoro-nii said I have to get my own swords, instead of using his all the time," Naruto said as walked through the market/shinobi district. (Its near the border of the two)

As Naruto walked along he found a shop that caught his eye 'HIGURASHI'S SHINOBI SHOP EXTRAORDINAIRE.'

'Well this seems interesting,' Naruto said to himself as he smirked and walked in.

As Naruto walked in, the store was really extraordinary. To the farther right of the store was a lot of weapons, from fire crackers and explosives to pocket knifes and giant cleavers to smoke pellets and tear gas. On the farther left were jutsu scrolls organized in every way possible, ranks D-B, elemental, none-elemental, genjutsu, ninjutsu, taijutsu, kenjutsu, fuinjutsu, etc., clan jutsu donation scrolls.

At the front left of the store you would see shinobi clothing, both male and female clothes, and on the right was shinobi gear: weights, chakra weights and gravity seals, sealing paper, armor, etc.

Naruto walked through the store to the counter but no one was there, and just as he was about to ring the bell.

"Woah woah there is no need to ring that bell," said a rushed voice from behind a door behind the counter.

A few seconds later an older man that looked to be in his 30's.

"Why is that?" Naruto asked confusingly.

"Because if my wife found out I wasn't at the counter to help a customer she would kill me," the man said in a scared look.

"How would she find out?" Naruto asked.

"She personally asked the hokage to put a recording seal on this bell, so if anytime this is rung I will get punished." The man said with anime tears coming down his face.

"I feel sorry for you," Naruto said as he patted the man's back in pity.

"So my name is Kuro Higurashi and this is my shop what are you looking for kid?" said Kuro as he suddenly got better.

"My name is Naruto, nice to meet you Kuro-san, and I'm looking for three of your best katana's."

"Hmmm… Let me see," Kuro said as he went into the back.

"Here is one sword its called 'Chisoku Dangan,' meaning Speeding Bullet, it's very light yet very durable, its good for quick attacks, the second sword is called 'Shinkou Tora,' meaning Rising Tiger, it's a bit heavy, and still very durable, good for heavy attacks, and the third sword is called 'Butai Seirei,' meaning Elemental Spirits, it's not light, nor heavy it's just right, it's good for channeling elemental chakra into it no matter the pressure, and the most durable out of the three," Kuro said happily but turned nervous after he finished and Naruto could tell something was wrong.

"What's wrong Kuro-san?"

"The sword Rising Tiger is a cursed sword, it's sentimental, and is known to chop its wielder apart," Kuro said with worry.

"Well let's see if I am capable to wield it," Naruto said calmly as took the sword out of its sheath.

Naruto began to toss the sword straight up into the air and the sword was sent spinning. As it came down, Naruto had his whole arm stretched to the side of him, waiting for his judgment.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? YOU ARE GOING TO GET YOUR ARM CHOPPED OFF YOU FOOL!" Kuro cried out as Naruto didn't answer.

The sword came slowly down onto Naruto's arm missing it by a hair.

"Oh my god," Kuro said in relief as he fell back into a chair as he was sweating…hard. "What the heck were you thinking kid, you could've gotten your arm chopped!" Kuro yelled as he jumped back up in concern.

"I was testing it, to see if I was capable to wield this sword," Naruto said with no care in the world.

"But what if you weren't capable what if you got your arm chopped off!" Kuro complained as he was in extreme concern.

"Nothing happened and if it did happen I could've gotten a new arm, that's better than this one," Naruto said with no emotion.

"You are so careless and reckless Naruto, well might as well give you that sword for free it accepted you and I can't keep a sword away from its true owner, but the other two you would have to pay for 5000 ryu each," Kuro said with a sweatdrop look which turned into a serious look after. (10 ryu = 1 dollar) (5000 ryu = 500 dollars)

"Okay I got the right amount," Naruto said as he dug into his pocket and brought out several ryu bills.

"Thank you and come again and also tell your friends about my store, see ya Naruto," Kuro said as he went into the back room and while Naruto left the shop.

As Naruto walked to his home back on the mountain he walked through the shinobi district and the clan district. It was a peaceful afternoon, the birds flying about, my flowers about, near empty street, quiet day, it was sunny, with a cool breeze. Yep it was a great day until it was interrupted by an annoying voice. Naruto turned around to see a duck haired raven Uchiha following him with an angry look.

"What do you want Uchiha-san?" Naruto said bluntly.

"You know what I want, I want to know who you are because I can see that you cause Natsuki-chan problems!" Sasuke questioned as he pointed at Naruto.

"You know who I am, my name's Naruto in case you didn't hear in class today," Naruto said nonchalantly.

"Yeah I know that, but it seems you have some kind of connection to her!" Sasuke said in a demanding way.

"You really want to know." He gets a nod from Sasuke. "I used to be Natsuki's twin brother."

There was silence for several moments as Naruto could to see a stun look on Sasuke's face, until he cracked.

"B-brother, then how come I haven't seen you before, I was told Natsuki was an only child, and how come you don't carry the family name?" Sasuke asked as he spewed out many questions.

"Woah hold on, didn't you hear me I said I used to be her brother, I had no relation with my family, and I hate my family for pushing me to the side," Naruto said with a little anger in his voice.

"Then you were probably a mistake to begin with, so why are you still here? Why bother us, no one wants you, just die or something!?" Sasuke yelled at the blond until he got smacked which led him into a fence, knocking him out.

"Might as well go home but before I do that KAGE BUNSHIN: SOUL FORM: ROBIN, USOPP, LUFFY, CHOPPER. Then Chopper, Luffy, Usopp and Robin appeared in a poof of smoke.

"Okay guys its time to wander!" Naruto said with joy.
