I woke up to the light streaming through my window. Squinting I see Annabeth still sleeping on the floor.
Oh my god I kissed her last. Oh my god oh my god. A horrible blush spread across my face like wild fire. I needed to stay calm. Be casual Percy. Act normal. Do not be awkward. Argh all I am is awkward.
My mental break down was interrupted by Annabeth's extremely loud alarm. She groaned and turned over to pick up her phone.
"Percy I have soccer in an hour." She said sleepily.
She looked up at me, her eyes were swollen, her hair with messy, and shit was she sexy. Her face suddenly reddened and looked down avoiding all eye contact.
Awkwardness poised the air around us. I needed to stay calm before I made a fool of myself.
"Come on, you have a soccer game soon. Lets go have some breakfast." I said picking myself up from my warm bed and walking to the door. She grimily got up and walked with me.
Slowly but surely we walked to the kitchen where my mother was preparing us some pancakes. She makes some mean blue pancakes.
"Oh my babies." She said, turning around from the counter and held her skinny arms out wide.
She was dressed her usually black pajamas with her long brown hair in a messy ponytail.
"Hey Sally." Annabeth said as she engulfed my mom into a hug.
"Hey Anna, how'd yeah sleep?"
"Pretty good I guess." Annabeth said slightly flushed, glancing towards me, but imminently went back to my mother.
"That's good. Now give me my other baby." Annabeth step back and gestured me to my mom.
I loved hugging my mom. I know I sound like a mama's boy, but I am. I mean, when you grow up without a dad you just become depended on one person; my mom. Sure I have Paul, my mom's boyfriend, but it's not the same.
My mom gave me a quick kiss on the check.
"Hi Mom, thanks for making breakfast." I said
"Oh sweetie it's no problem. I'll call you guys when the pancakes are done. Go entertain your selves else where."
"Okay thanks Sally," Annabeth said exiting the kitchen, "Come on Percy."
As I followed Annabeth out of the room, her blonde hair was swishing back and forth mesmerizing me. I need to get my self together I thought as I shook my head back and forth. Oh my god I probably looked like a lunatic.
The living room was comfortable and simple. It was painted a grey/blue because my mom said it reminded her of the raining days in her hometown. There wasn't really a lot expect the cream couch and TV, but it was perfect for just us.
Annabeth sat on the couch her shoulders perched up and her hands in her lap. She looked uncomfortable and awkward which was unusual because she used to be always comfortable around me.
I sat down next to her, grabbed the remote and turned on Drake and Josh, my favorite shot. I leaned back against the sofa and propped up my legs on the wooden coffee table.
In the first minute I was laughing hysterically at some weird noise Josh had made. Soon after, Annabeth relaxed and eased herself against the couch with me. I put my arm around the top of the couch where her hair was slightly tickling my arm. Things felt good. The tension between us drifted away only lingering in the back of our brains. Which is fine for me, I'd rather have it be far away then right in my face.
I looked down at Annabeth slightly smiling. She turned her gaze away from the television and focused on me. She smiled showing her perfect teeth. A pink blush spread across on my face. I felt my stomach cave in and twist into a billion knots all filled with Annabeth. Oh god I feel sick. Someone call 911 before I die of Annabethsyndrom.
"Annabeth, Percy, breakfast!" My mom hollered from the kitchen.
"Okay Mom, one minute!" I yelled back.
Conceal it, don't feel it.
Tingles erupted in my leg as Annabeth's delicate fingers lightly tapped my knee.
"Come on Percy I'm hungry, hurry up."
Do as Elsa do.
"Okay fine, one second."
"Okay." She said walking towards the kitchen. I could distantly hear her saying to my mom, "Sally this smells wonderful. Thanks so much for breakfast."
I could just image her smiling and putting her hair behind her flawless shoulder. I wonder what it would be like to kiss something so golden and soft. Jesus I needed to stop. Conceal it, don't feel it. Do as Elsa do. Do as Elsa do.
HII!
Okay so this was first an oneshot but I'm pretty sure I'm going to continue this. Please tell me any suggestions in the reviews or pm me either one works! I know do as Elsa do isn't like a "real" sentence and stuff, but it's and inside joke I have with my friends so I just thought adding it in there would be kind of fun.
Thanks so much!
