What if Regina entered the pub
She walked her way into the pub slowly, trying not to change her mind before reaching her "soulmate", according to what Tinker kept saying after they both left the castle. In her heart she still had Daniel, but thanks to Snow White (and her b***h mother) Daniel was no more.
Regina approached the man sneakily, trying not to alert him, but they almost crushed into each other when he suddenly stood up and turn around, facing the woman. "Oh, I beg your pardon ma'am. Didn't see you coming." Regina blushed, not sure about what to answer the man, who smelt like forest. "I- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you." The man started looking at Regina's dress, where the liquid inside the cup the man was holding ended up.
"Sorry about that, ma'am. Can I offer you a drink, to apologize for?" Regina istinctively gave her hand to the man, that surprised took the woman and made her sit beside him.
"I don't know your name, mister." said Regina, after she asked for the drink. "Robin, Robin Hood. And what's your name, ma'am?" "Regina."
"Regina? The new wife of King Leopold?" yelled a man behind their table. The man stood up and drew out his knife, moving closely to Regina with a crazy stare coming out of his eyes.
"What is the King's new wife doing in a shithole like this? Don't you know that kids and women are easy prey for criminals like us? Do you want your husband to spend some money for your ransom, don't you?" and before ending his sentence, he tried to grab Regina, but he was stopped by a fast and strong punch by Hood, who knocked the thug on the floor.
From the table the thug came from, three other thugs stood up and rushed to fight versus Hood. The man took Regina and said her to stand back, while he was facing the thugs. "A man fighting for me?" thought Regina, with a slightly lovely smile on her face.
The thugs surrounded Robin and one by one decided to fight versus the man. After having knocked up two of the three, the last one took the knife from the first thug uncoscious body and attempted an attack against Robin. One of the thugs (who was lying uncoscious behind Robin), woke up and knocked the man out, leading to the other man stabbing Hood.
Regina's heart crushed when Robin's body touched the floor. The barkeeper yelled:"A round of free drinks to those who kick these thugs out of my joint!"
Regina leaned on Robin: he was badly injured, and her magic couldn't do much about it.
"Reg... Regina." said with a low voice Robin. "What... What a ma'am like you was doing in a shithole like this?" continued the man, trying not to strive too much. Her eyes began to cry, much to Robin surprise. "I came here after a fairy, name Tinkerbell, told me that you were my soulmate." said in a voice broken by tears Regina, touching the lion tattoo on Robin's arm. "Oh... I... I see. Well, I do not have much time left to live, so... I thought too that you were something special, so... Another life then."
Regina's eyes exploded in tears, and she leaned more to kiss the man on his lips. "I love you." whispered Regina, kissing the man again shortly after.
Their love exploded into the air, spreading from them two to the outside of the pub and beyond. Robin no longer felt pain, but only something alive inside him, like butterflies all flying around inside his stomach.
The two stood up, and kissed one more time, before leaving the pub nestled to each other.
