"This will get rid of my unsightly zits for sure," said Herb. Harry snorted then paled.

"Hey, Julien, do you mind telling me what you're studying?" asked Ulrich.

"The eye chart. I'm near sighted, but I don't want to have to wear glasses, that'd be too lame!"

"Oh you're right, being blind as a bat sure is a lot cooler," Ulrich replied sarcastically. "My brother wears glasses and he's not lame. Holding up the wall huh, Odd?"

"No, push ups! Why, can't you tell?" asked Odd.

"No! What's up with you Harry?"

"Do I really need to tell you Ulrich?"

Ulrich glanced at him. "Your powers? I doubt they will make a difference."

Harry sighed. "I don't need glasses any more. That will raise a few questions. And I think I might have changed slightly physically."

"I'm tired of people telling me I'm scrawny."

"But you are scrawny Odd!"

"I am not scrawny, I'm svelte!"

"Harry, want to look over my heath record with me?" asked Sissi. She sat down next to him and showed it to him. "Look at my weight curve, just right! And my growth curve? Just right! Perfection is really wonderful, isn't it?"

"You don't understand Aelita. You don't have a health record," said Jeremy. "You've never been vaccinated. What if the nurse finds out about your origins?"

"I am human Jeremy," said Aelita. "Remember Harry's picture? I was in it. Relax Jeremy."

"Alright. Jeremy Belpois, Odd Della Robbia and Julien."

"Go on Rambo! Bomb away!" called Ulrich. Sissi giggled.

Yolanda checked Odd's heart.

"You've got the heart of an athlete Odd. But you look a little skinny. Are you sure you're eating enough?"

"By enough do you mean more than an elephant?" asked Jeremy.

"I eat a lot!"

"It must be your metabolism then that keeps you so scrawny. Your turn Julien."

"I am not scrawny. I'm svelte!"

"Alright. Read the top line please."

"Uhh. A, c, u, z."

"Jeremy, what do you see on the top line?"

"A, b, p, z and l."

"Really Julien. Not only are you near sighted, you have a bad memory too. Jeremy, your turn."

Jeremy stepped on the scales.

"Is it bad if we forgot our record and haven't had all our vaccinations?"

"Well, yes it is. But don't worry. You're up to date."

She took his height and recorded it. They left the room.

"Harry Stern, Elisabeth Delmas and Aelita stones please. Sorry about you having to be with a member of the opposite gender."

"Don't worry," said Aelita. "He's a good friend. He won't look."

"Only to avoid Jeremy's wrath," said Harry as they walked in.

"Not to worry, Einstein! She thought you were human, didn't she?" asked Odd as he elbowed Jeremy.

"Hilarious."

Lyoko

A tower turned red.

Jeremy's laptop beeped and he looked at the display. "An activated tower!"

"In the middle of a medical check-up?" asked Ulrich. "Xana has no respect for anything! Uh oh. Harry and Aelita are in the same room."

"Ulrich, wait here for Aelita and Harry. Bring them to the factory as soon as they get out. Odd and I will head over now."

Outside

Students were running under Jim's watchful eye.

"Hey, quit dawdling! This is a 100-metre sprint, not a chorus line!"

"Ok Jeremy. I'll be there as soon as I can," said Yumi into her phone.

"Next. Go!" Jim started to time. Yumi took the lead and ran over the line in fourteen seconds.

"There you go. Someone at least is putting their back into it! Wow Yumi! You just broke the school record." Jim looked around. "Yumi!"

Infirmary

Sissi was weighed. Harry faced the wall for modesty.

"What?!" asked Sissi as she saw it. "Oh, your scale must be broken! That's five pounds over!"

"This scale is perfectly accurate, Elisabeth!" said Yolanda.

"It's Sissi! This is outrageous! I'm going to tell my father!"

"I'd run over to his office if I were you, it might help you lose a few pounds!" suggested Yolanda as Sissi put her clothes on. "Your turn Aelita."

"I'm sorry Ma'am but I forgot to bring my heath record."

"It's no big deal. I'll just put the results onto a separate piece of paper that you can add to your file later on."

"I should have left my health record at home too," complained Sissi.

The light started to short circuit.

"Why?" asked Aelita.

"Can't you guess?" asked Sissi. "My ultra-perfect weight curve has just been wrecked by these five extra pounds!"

"Well, you can't tell by looking at you."

A spectre went into Yolanda.

"Uh oh." said Harry. "I think I ought to do something but… Sissi! Can I trust you to keep this a secret?"

"Anything for you Harry."

"Thank you." Harry shot across the room to Yolanda and picked her up.

"What the…" Sissi gaped at Harry.

"Get out of her body Xana."

Yolanda tried to electrocute him but he dodged.

"Run." Harry opened the window and looked down. He made the ground soft and jumped out.

"Are you coming?" he called. "I'll catch you."

The two girls looked at Yolanda and jumped. Harry caught them then texted Ulrich who also jumped out the window. Harry sent a shuriken at the window but Yolanda batted it aside. Students watched what was happening.

"Yolanda has been possessed by Xana," said Ulrich into his phone as they ran to the factory. "Sissi's with us. You know that thing Harry mentioned earlier? About having a new member?"

"She'll probably try to drive you to the factory," said Jeremy. "And Sissi?"

"She's changed. She's no longer as nasty to us."

"Right. Odd and Yumi are here. I'll ask them."

"What was that about?" asked Odd as they strolled over.

"Harry, Ulrich, Aelita and Sissi are being chased by Yolanda," explained Jeremy. "Ulrich wants to add Sissi to our group."

Yumi looked thoughtful. "She doesn't make as many jabs against us anymore. She has my vote of she keeps off Ulrich."

"Don't sweat it," said Odd. "She has her eyes on Harry. She has been nicer to us."

"Is there anything else we can do to stop Yolanda?" asked Yumi.

"We could get Harry to fight her," said Jeremy thoughtfully. "But that would give him straight to Xana as Yolanda would bring him straight here. Or we could fight her on equal terms."

"What?" asked Odd.

"I've been studying Xana's spectres and Harry figured out how to activate a tower," said Jeremy. "I think I can pixelise you."

"You mean turn us like people possessed by Xana?" asked Yumi.

"Instead of being Xanafied, they'll be Jeremified," said Odd.

"Couldn't that be a bit risky?" asked Yumi.

"I could say no, but I'd be lying," said Jeremy as the four entered the lab. Harry wasn't even winded.

"What is this place?" asked Sissi as she looked around.

"It's a computer lab," said Harry as he searched for Yolanda. "A special computer lab. Yolanda's heading for the corridor."

"We need to hold her off," said Jeremy.

"How much time do you need?" asked Ulrich.

"Ideally, about three months! But I'll see what I can do to speed things up," said Jeremy. "About what we were discussing. We all agreed. We just need yours, Aelita's and Harry's vote."

"Agreed what?" asked Sissi.

"Whether or not we would allow you in our group," said Yumi.

"Well, I agree," said Ulrich as he glanced at Sissi.

"So do I," said Harry. "Sissi's resourceful."

Sissi blushed.

"As long as she promises to keep the secret," said Aelita as she looked at Sissi. Sissi glanced at her.

"What is happening here?" she asked.

"Well, we fight a computer program called Xana by going to a virtual world called Lyoko and deactivating a tower," said Harry. "Xana is really dangerous as he can take control of humans and other things. He even took control of a teddy bear. Will you help us? If you decide not to, we can make you forget."

"Of course!" Sissi hugged him

"Thanks Sissi." Harry kissed her on the check and Sissi sighed contentedly. "Oh, and I know about your feelings for me."

"So how do you plan on pixellising us, Frankenstein?" asked Odd.

"By activating a tower."

"You know how to do that?" asked Yumi.

"No. Harry does."

"Which one do you want?" asked Harry as he leaned over to the keyboard. Ulrich went up to the main factory and followed Yolanda.

"It doesn't work," said Jeremy as the display came up.

"Yes, it does," said Yumi as a tower in the mountain sector turned green. "Harry activated a tower."

"Nice going Ninja Boy," cheered Odd.

"Now, I can send a digital impulse which will travel at hyper speed though all the networks and gather tons of energy. I'll control it by sending it through tubes on the screen and it will come put as a spectre," said Jeremy.

"A spectre? What's that?" asked Sissi.

"It's a computer program that Xana uses to control people," said Harry. "You've had one in you. You'd better make sure Xana doesn't try to take control."

"Translation please?" asked Odd.

"Jeremy is going to create a spectre and make one of us invincible," said Harry. "And Jeremy, you'd better send Sissi to Lyoko."

"I'll do it," said Odd as he punched the air.

"Are you sure?" asked Yumi.

"I've got a little score to settle with Yolanda," said Odd.

Factory

Yolanda walked down the corridor.

"You forgot to give me my health check," said Ulrich as he caught up. "And I brought my folder with me."

Yolanda formed a yellow electricity ball and threw it at him. It sent Ulrich flying.

"I guess my reflexes are pretty good. How about my eyesight?"

She sent another ball at him and he dodged and led her back to the main factory. She hit him again.

Lab

"Get ready Odd. This might hurt."

"If this ends badly, Jeremy, you promise to look after Kiwi?" asked Odd.

"If this ends badly, there'll be nobody left to look after Kiwi!"

Smoke came out of the computer and entered Odd who started to glow.

"How do you feel Odd?" asked Yumi.

"Fully charged."

"Don't we have a tower to deactivate?" asked Harry. Odd ran off to Yolanda.

"So Miss Nurse, do you think I look scrawny now?" he asked.

Yolanda threw super Odd off with a shield. He landed on his feet.

"Is this how Harry feels?" he asked himself. "This way, nasty nurse! Catch me if you can!"

Lab

"How's Ulrich?" asked Yumi. Harry shrugged.

"Here I am," said Ulrich as he entered the lab again. "Am I dreaming or has Odd turned into a superhero?"

"Jeremy's managed to Jeremify him," said Yumi.

"That's weird."

"I don't know how long he'll last against Yolanda," said Jeremy. "We have to get to Lyoko and deactivate the tower."

"I'll go first with Sissi," said Harry as he led her to the scanners. "Step in one Sissi."

"Does it hurt?" asked Sissi. Harry shook his head.

"There's a drop as soon as you get to Lyoko. The process itself doesn't hurt."

"Alright then," said Jeremy. "Ready?"

"Ready," said Harry as he stepped into a scanner.

"Transfer Harry. Transfer Sissi. Scanner Harry. Scanner Sissi. Virtualisation!"

Factory

Yolanda sent a ball at Odd who jumped and sent one back at her. She fell into the water.

"Better and better."

Lyoko

Harry rolled his eyes as he helped Sissi up. "Well, you can't say I didn't warn you."

"Harry?" asked Sissi as she looked around the forest sector. "You're a ninja! Is this Lyoko?"

"Of course I am," said Harry. "Did you really expect any different? Yes, this is Lyoko. And you're a fairy."

Sissi looked at herself and felt her wings.

"How?"

"The supercomputer decided for you," said Harry as he shrugged.

"Transfer Ulrich. Transfer Yumi. Transfer Aelita. Scanner Ulrich. Scanner Yumi. Scanner Aelita. Virtualisation."

The three appeared and looked at Sissi.

"Jeremy, can you tell us what powers Sissi has?" asked Harry.

"It looks like she can send focused beams from her hands," said Jeremy as he looked at Sissi's ID card. "She can also fly. I'm sending the Overbike, the Overjet and the Overwing. The activated tower is in the forest in front of you."

The three vehicles appeared.

"Let's move," said Yumi as Harry and Sissi climbed aboard the Overjet, Ulrich hopped aboard the Overbike and Yumi and Aelita jumped on the Overwing.

"Any news from Odd and his private nurse?" asked Ulrich. "Last time I checked, the atmosphere was electric!"

"He's hanging in there," said Jeremy. "For now that is. You guys better be careful. Xana's sent some monsters to stop you from reaching the tower."

"Now isn't that a surprise?" asked Ulrich sarcastically as the started to move.

Factory

Odd looked in the water as Yolanda climbed out. She punched him and sent a ball at him. Odd dodged and tried to form a ball but it failed.

"Jeremy, I'm losing power, is that supposed to happen?" asked Odd.

"Uh…"

"That's what I thought! You're using your "I hate to say it, but you bummed the exam" voice!"

He ran and dropped his phone as he dodged another electric ball.

"Odd? Can you hear me? Odd? Odd?"

Yolanda destroyed it and continued after Odd.

Lyoko

"Yumi? Can you hear me?" asked Jeremy.

"Yes?"

"It's about Odd. We've got a problem."

They looked at the Krabes.

"Well, it's not too easy at this end."

"What do we do now?" asked Sissi.

"We fight," ado Harry. "You have some joysticks. Use them to target the Krabes. Aim for the eye on their backs while I fly this thing."

The Krabes started to fire and Harry moved up. Sissi aimed and fired. One blew up.

"Nice going."

Ulrich rode between a Krabes legs, stuck his sword in it and it blew up. A Kankrelat hit him. He drove over to it and sliced it.

Mountain Sector

The green tower turned red.

Forest sector

"Xana has taken control of the tower we used to Jeremify Odd," said Jeremy. "There's nothing I can do to stop it."

"I'll go deactivate it," said Harry. "Where's the way tower?"

"Whenever you and Odd start messing around, it means trouble for us," said Ulrich.

"What about Odd?" asked Yumi. "Will Xana take control of him too?"

"Well, it looks like he'd rather pump all of his energy."

"You mean… Until he…"

"Yeah. Head west Harry. The way tower is there. The tower is in the mountains."

"Got you!"

Harry flew in the right direction.

"Mountain sector?" asked Sissi.

"Yep. There are five sectors."

Ulrich jumped off his bike and stabbed the Krabe before landing back on his bike. Yumi threw her fans at the Kankrelats.

Harry flew straight to the tower.

"We're going to crash!" yelled Sissi.

"No, we're not!"

They flew through the wall and down. They then flew up and out into the mountains.

"Hurry up," said Jeremy. "Odd doesn't have much time. The tower is dead ahead. Can you see it?"

"I can see it."

"There's nothing there Harry. There's not much of anything," said Sissi as she looked at the display and at the fog. "How can you navigate in this?"

"My senses are better than most. Xana's pulled this one on us before anyway."

A buzzing noise reverbed around the area as Harry watched the path.

"Oh great. Hornets. There we are."

He landed next to the tower.

"Stay here Sissi. I'll be back in a second. Make sure you don't devirtualise. It's not harmful but it's annoying to deal with monsters on my own."

Factory

Odd ran away from Yolanda down a corridor. He backed against a wall but Yolanda moved away. He collapsed.

Mountains

Harry entered the tower and rose to the second level.

"You've got company. Four hornets," said Jeremy.

"Where?" asked Sissi.

"Dodge!"

She dodged and the hornets missed her as the sector reverted to normal. She aimed and fired then looked at her hand. Harry jumped out of the tower and dealt with the rest.

"Nice going Sissi. We're going back to the others Jeremy."

"Ok. Ulrich, Aelita and Yumi, Harry and Sissi are on their way to you!

"Good, the five of us could use some help around here!"

They continued to fight the monsters.

"The fairy and Ninja are coming, we'd better clean up!"

Ulrich destroyed a Krabe before focusing all of their power on the Kankrelats. They didn't stand a chance.

"Fusion!"

Harry and Sissi appeared.

"About time," said Yumi as she was hit and devirtualised.

"Yumi! Please tell me she's alright," said Sissi.

"She's fine," said Harry. "Who's deactivating this tower?"

He landed and Sissi got hit by a Krabe as she climbed out. She devirtualised as well. Harry winced and destroyed it.

Lab

Yolanda sent an energy ball at Jeremy who leapt out of the seat.

"It was pretty rude of you to leave me there in the middle of our conversation, Nurse Yolanda," said Odd.

"Oh, Odd! Am I glad to see you!" exclaimed Jeremy.

"Yeah, I'm glad to see me too!" said Odd as Yolanda knocked him off balance with a yellow energy ball.

Lyoko

"I think it's getting pretty hairy at the factory," said Ulrich. Aelita ran into the tower and rose to the next level.

Yolanda collapsed.

"I really think Xana needs to work on his bedside manner, don't you?" asked Odd.

"Yolanda turned into this weird, super scary demon and jumped out of the window, that's what happened!" said Nicholas.

"Reminds me of when I worked in a psychiatric hospital," said Jim.

"You worked in a psychiatric hospital?" asked Delmas.

"I'd rather not talk about it."

"It's the truth."

"Stop this nonsense and tell me what happened!"

"Why don't you ask Yolanda?" asked Ulrich as he and Jeremy helped her in.

"Ms Perraudin wasn't feeling very well, so she went out for some air," said Aelita as they lay her down on a bed.

"Out the window?" asked Delmas.

"Uh, yes, of course! Why not?" asked Aelita.

"Is that what really happened Yolanda?"

"Well, yes. I don't really remember. It's like I blacked out. I don't see why Aelita would want to lie."

"Nice one Aelita," said Jeremy as they walked out the building. Sissi clung to Harry. "You were perfect."

"You know, anybody that lies that well could only be human, right Jeremy?" asked Odd.

"Things were pretty crazy," said Sissi.

"That's my life," said Harry. "One Xana attack after another. Really messes up the routine."

Sissi sighed. Harry glanced at the others who were looking at him expectantly. He sighed and kissed Sissi. She kissed him back.

"I think we've seen the beginning of a relationship," said Odd.
