I don't own Harry Potter or Code Lyoko

Hot Shower

A meteor floated in space.

Lab

"Ok, I'm uploading the program to you now," said Jeremy as he typed furiously. "Now the Skid should be able to differentiate bio signals from the rest of the computer code."

"Ok, program received and activated," said Aelita as she piloted the Skid.

"Do you think that with this, you'd be able to find where Xana is keeping the spiritual essence of William?" asked Odd.

"Let's hope so," replied Harry. "It's the best chance we have to bring him back at the moment. Xana's not going to let me talk him out of it again."

"Ah, the return of our tall, handsome hero! I'm sure Ulrich's going to be thrilled to have his old rival back," said Odd.

"Odd! Sometimes you're really a bit too much!"

"Only sometimes?" asked Odd. "Oh no, I think I must be slipping!"

"Sure you are," said Sissi with an eye roll. "You're slipping badly Odd."

"Speaking of Yumi, I wouldn't mind being in her shoes today," said Jeremy as he relaxed into his chair.

"Are you kidding?" asked Ulrich. "Helping run the outdoor science lab with 5th graders isn't exactly her idea of fun!"

"Oh come on, I bet she's loving it," said Jeremy.

"Yeah, she likes it as much as I like being possessed," said Harry. "Which has been happening quicker and quicker lately. I've been working on something though."

"With the exceptional event of the meteor passing, we are going to build a giant mock-up of the solar system. Beside me is a scale model of the sun. What you're going to do now is make the planets that surround it by breaking off into teams and each team is responsible for one planet," said Ms Hertz.

"Yumi, I'd like to be on your team," said Johnny.

"It's not up to me, sorry."

"Are there any questions?" asked Ms Hertz.

"Could I be on Yumi's team, huh ma'am?!" yelled Johnny. The class laughed.

"Alright Johnny but don't let me see you clowning around with Hiroki."

"This is really going to be a lot of fun," said a pleased Johnny.

Lab

"The massive velocity of the comet known as VG 724 is so great that it striking the earth would cause an explosion a thousand times greater than the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima in 1945. Subsequent earthquakes and tsunamis would destroy the major cities and debris would block out the sun for two centuries. This would cause everything to become extinct. There is no risk of this because the comet will pass no closer than two million kilometres to the earth. We have also been informed that the military has a satellite armed with laser cannons powerful enough to change the comets course," said the news reporter.

"You getting this Harry?" asked Jeremy.

"Yep. I'll be ready to hack into the military network if necessary."

"The sonar is picking up a faint trace of digital DNA in the area. It could be William, or even maybe…" Aelita trailed off.

"Your father? Well what are we waiting for? Let's go check it out," said Ulrich eagerly. They headed in the right direction.

Ms Hertz and Jim handed out equipment as Sirius ran to and from the school with supplies.

"Too cool! Guess what? We get to do planet Earth," said Johnny as he read the slip of paper.

"Yeah great, this is my lucky day," said Yumi distractedly.

"Earth and the moon," corrected Hiroki.

"And to think Jeremy wanted to take my place."

"Now, don't forget that the sun should be the centre of your orbits," said Ms Hertz. "And fifth graders, don't forget the scale. Now get to work."

"I have an important safety announcement," said Jim as he snatched the megaphone. "Now about the poles, I'd like to call your attention to an important technical aspect: they have two ends! One is pointy and sharp, that's the one that you put into the ground. You try to do it the other way, you might hurt yourself pushing on the pointy end!"

"Come on, you'd have to be an idiot not to figure that out," said a girl as Jim tried to nonchalantly hide the dressing on his palm, embarrassed.

"Jim has a good point," said Luna dreamily. "Better to be prepared."

Lyoko

A tower in the desert started to glow red.

"Ugh, why now? Why can't we just go on an exploratory mission in peace for once? Well Xana, what do you have in store for us this time?" muttered Jeremy as the scan showed the activated tower.

"Probably something to do with taking over me again," said Harry. "I've got plans though. I've been working hard on it."

Space

A satellite aimed its laser at the comet and fired. It broke apart and headed towards the earth.

Digital Sea

"Sorry guys but you're needed back on Lyoko," said Jeremy. "Activated tower."

"Got it Jeremy," said Aelita as Harry started to turn. William appeared from the deaths and clung to the Lightning. He smirked and tried to pry the door open.

"I have to get rid of this freeloader first then I'll join you."

Harry applied the retros and William was forced to let go. Harry sped away as William recovered.

Students moaned as they worked on the model.

"What do you think of my planet earth?" asked Hiroki as he showed it to Yumi.

"Look Yumi, the moon is yours for the asking! Haha," said Johnny as he spun the model on his head.

"Yeah right. Hiroki, doesn't the Earth have another name?" asked Yumi.

"The blue planet, yeah, I know! But I was using a little imagination, like if there was a Mars attack!"

"And you Johnny, do you really think anything can grow on the moon?" asked Yumi as she turned to him.

"I thought it would be more poetic with plants."

"Start over and fix it," ordered Yumi.

"Forget it, imagination and poetry are wasted on her," said Hiroki as they started again.

"Please…send me a miracle to get me out of this…" muttered Yumi as her phone rang. "Hello? Yes, Jeremy? An activated tower? Wow, thank you, Xana!"

"Huh? What're you talking about?" asked Jeremy.

"Oh, nothing! On my way, right now!"

She ran off and Luna followed her.

Lab

"Some breaking news. It appears the comet VG 724 has broken apart…" said the reporter.

"What is going on around here?" asked Jeremy.

"…following a shot from a satellite…uh…uh…uh, for reasons yet unknown… Correction! Uh, international observatories have now all confirmed that all this well with the comet, and it will simply crash on erm…uh, uh, nowhere! As you know, it will pass very far from Earth! And anyway we could always obliterate it with military satellites. …which of course don't exist! This is just a…a little April Fool joke from our producer! So that's it, farewell- I mean…more news later! Hahaha!"

"Uno, it's not April. Dos, something is going haywire! Let's see. Loading observational program."

He loaded the program as Harry flew by the Skid.

"I don't see why William would try to drag you out of the Lightning," said Sissi. "You could get deleted."

"I can't. I have the same immunity that William does, remember?"

"I just figured out Xana's attack," said Jeremy. "Xana used a military satellite to change the course of a comet. It's going to create a shower that will fall on the earth."

"You sure?" asked Aelita.

"Well, most of it will burn in the atmosphere but there's a huge chunk that will crash directly into… oh no!"

"Please tell me it's not heading for the factory," pleaded Harry.

"You have to get out of the lab," said Aelita.

"I can't do that. If the factory is destroyed, you'll be at Xana's mercy. We have to deactivate the tower."

"We'll do it in no time," said Odd.

"That's not going to stop the meteorite from falling," pointed out Ulrich.

"That's why I'm staying at the controls so we can launch a return to the past before we're hit."

Kadic

Yumi stopped as her phone rang.

"Jeremy. Yeah, I'm almost there. What?"

"Yeah, a meteorite. It will obliterate the entire area including the school. The others are on their way back and will meet up with you on Lyoko."

"Hiroki… sorry Jeremy. I'll be right there but I have something to do. It's my brother."

"Is there anything I can do?" asked Luna as she stepped out from her hiding place.

"Yumi, we need you now!"

"Luna, do you think you can help me evacuate the school?" asked Yumi as she ended the call. Luna nodded.

Digital sea

The sea turned red.

"Oh great. Here come the monsters," muttered Harry. The Skid was caught in ripples.

"What is that?" asked Odd.

"A firewall. It has to be a present from Xana. I'll get us out of here. Harry, you go on ahead," said Aelita. Harry continued on. Aelita pressed buttons but nothing worked. "Jeremy…"

"I'm working on it."

Kadic

"Where did you go?" asked Hiroki as Yumi and Luna ran over. "Look, I painted over it with blue, now look at this awful colour!"

"Hiroki, I want you to go home right now, ok?" asked Yumi. "Take Johnny with you, and I'll…I'll meet you there later!"

"What? But what about Ms Hertz' class?" asked Hiroki in confusion.

"Hiroki, you heard me!"

"Hey, what's the matter with you? You got in a fight with Ulrich again, huh?"

"We're in grave danger," said Luna sagely.

"By the way, Suzanne, how's it going with Pedro?" asked Jim as he and Ms Hertz watched over the students.

"Oh really Jim! Not around the students!"

"Ms Hertz! We have to evacuate the school," said Yumi as she ran over.

"What are you talking about?"

"I know this may sound crazy, but a meteorite is going to hit right here where we're standing," said Yumi desperately.

"Hold on now, Ishiyama, I told you eating all that raw fish was no good for you," said Jim.

"No! It's true! I found out from a friend who works at an observatory!"

The students started to murmur as the meteorites started to arrive.

"Wow! Great fireworks," said Jim as he watched.

"Jim! We have to evacuate the school," said Ms Hertz.

Digital sea

The Skid was still in the firewall.

"The firewall's energy is set up along a fairly basic algorithm. All we have to do is crack it," said Aelita.

"Any chance of going any quicker?" asked Sissi.

"I think I've realised what Xana's' up to," said Jeremy.

"Bravo Einstein," said Odd sarcastically. "You've finally worked out that Xana wants to destroy the supercomputer so he can stop us from pulling the virtual carpet from under him."

"Well obviously," said Jeremy. "But he's chosen the perfect moment to do it."

"By destroying the supercomputer, he'll be destroying Lyoko and our link to the real world," said Aelita. "But why here?"

"So he can get you Aelita," said Jeremy. "You're one of the ones that Xana wants to capture ever since we recreated Lyoko. I think he also tried to get Harry."

"William clung to the Lightning," said Odd. "He tried to get Harry out."

Kadic

"This is ridiculous," said Delmas. "Are you sure that it could have been from something else?"

Ms Hertz shook her head.

"That's what I keep telling her," said Jim. "But I think she overdid it with the mint tea!"

"I know what I saw Jean-Pierre. It was a meteor shower," said Ms Hertz. "We have to get the students to safety now."

"Fine, I'll evacuate the school as a precaution but I don't want any panic."

Digital sea

"I found it," said Aelita. "It's as clear as day. The algorithm over compensates pressure but it takes three mille seconds to reverse the polarity."

"Of course. You have to reach the initial pressure."

"What?" asked Odd.

"Hang on."

The Skid started to reverse then shot forward.

"Nice one Aelita. Now hurry. Harry is just entering Lyoko."

"Everyone ok?" asked Aelita as the digital sea turned back to blue.

"My breakfast wants to come back up to say hello, but otherwise all's well," said Odd.

"You're not going to get there in time," said Jeremy. "Unless I… that's it! I need to regain control of the satellite to change the course of the meteor again! Just have to crack this… Bingo! Now all I need is a transmission signal…"

Desert

Harry popped out of a shadow.

"Jeremy, where's the tower?"

"You should be able to see it from where you are," said Jeremy. "And you have company."

"Yeah, I can see that," muttered Harry as William stood with an army of Krabe. "Good times."

Kadic

"Ok, fire drill everybody," said Jim into the megaphone. "I want you to make your way to the main gate."

The students started to move with a few grumbles. Yumi's phone rang.

"Jeremy? Yes, I'm, still at school. I'm really sorry but I had to…"

"Don't worry Yumi. Plan B time," said Jeremy. "In fact, I'm glad you haven't left school yet. I need you to do something. Can you get my laptop?"

"Your laptop? Ok."

"Where's your sister going?"asked Johnny as he noticed her running away.

"I don't know. Only one way to find out."

They followed her.

Lyoko

"Hey! William! Aren't you going to try to capture me?" called Hurry as he finished off the last Krabe. William remained silent. "Ok, you don't feel like talking."

Harry walked forward and William pointed his sword at him.

"I can't let you past. Not even if it is you Harry."

The Scyphozoa wrapped its tentacles around Harry and pressed three to his head.

"Did you put this thing on silent?"

"Impressive. A mind defense. I see you are trying to keep Xana out but it won't last."

The Scyphozoa screeched as Harry flickered out of view. It started to stumble around. Well as much as a floating monster can do.

"I think I made it sick," commented Harry as he reappeared."And since I'm here, shouldn't you stop the attack? If the meteor destroys the supercomputer, wouldn't it kill me?"

Kadic

"Take cover," ordered Jim as more meteorites started to fall. He dived to the ground.

"Ok, I just picked up your laptop," said Yumi as she picked it up.

"Now go to the roof and hook it to the antenna."

Yumi ran. Hiroki and Johnny followed her.

"Oh no!" muttered Yumi as she kicked the door.

"Security door versus Yumi's ankle…I'll bet on the door!" exclaimed Hiroki.

"What are you doing here?!"

"I shall open the door so you can defeat your enemy," said Luna as she walked over to the door.

"We know how to open it, heheh!" said Hiroki.

"Shut up, Hiroki! I'm sick of hearing your lies!" yelled Yumi.

"But first you gotta tell us what you're up to!" continued Hiroki.

"Oh, what have I got to lose? A meteorite is going to crash on the school and if I don't connect this computer to the roof antenna now, then Jeremy won't be able to access the satellite that might change its course! Understand?!"asked Yumi.

"A meteorite? Not bad…now tell us what's really going on!"

Luna pushed the door open as a tremor shook the building. Yumi ran out and grabbed the antenna cable.

"Ok, no cut the wire and push it firmly into the blue plug in the back of the laptop," said Jeremy.

"Great, how am I going to do it without a knife?" asked Yumi. Johnny offered her his Swiss army knife. "Huh…?"

She cut the wire and inserted it.

"Now get going!"

"What about you?" asked Hiroki.

"I can't release the cable. Beat it!"

Lyoko

The rest of the gang ran over.

"All of a sudden that tower seems a lot further away…" said Odd as more monsters appeared including a Xana Harry.

"Why do you fight?" asked Xana Harry as he circled the real Harry. The monsters forced the others behind rocks."You know it's so easy just to follow my orders."

"Well, some people like having their free will."

"It's hot…" moaned Ulrich.

"Yeah, well this is the Desert!" pointed out Odd. Sissi fired and got knocked back.

"Sissi, you're losing too many life points!"

"You know, you use the same reasons every time we meet," commented Harry. Xana Harry smirked

"You would join me if it meant saving people's lives."

Harry closed his eyes. "That's a last resort."

"Now let the duel begin!"muttered Jeremy as he started to try to hack into the satellite. "Harry, can you get me some more processing?"

"Sorry, I have a clone here and he's a real annoyance," joked Harry. Sissi was hit again and devirtualised.

"The Tarantulas haven't fired at me even once…" murmured Aelita as she hit one.

"I'll never make it. Xana is a flawless program and I'm only human…" moaned Jeremy.

Harry split into three and Xana Harry's gaze flickered between them. William watched from his position in front of the tower.

"What are you doing?" asked Ulrich as Aelita walked into the line of fire.

"I'm forcing Xana to make a choice!" Harry managed to stab his clone before turning his attention to William who was advancing on Aelita. "Hurry Odd, devirtualise me!"

"Oi! William!" William paused at Harry's call. "Who do you want more? Me or Aelita?"

"Huh? What, are you crazy?" asked Odd in surprise.

" Do what I say," ordered Aelita. William glanced between Harry and Aelita before closing his eyes. "Harry, you'd better devirtualise too."

"She's right Odd," said Jeremy.

Odd fired at Aelita who devirtualised. William turned to Harry who ran into the tower and rose to the second platform.

"Huh?"

The files shot down the inside without Harry touching the interface. "Xana..."

"To win, sometimes you have to know how to lose," said Aelita as she arrived in the lab.

"You think Xana understands that?" asked Jeremy.

Harry exited the tower to bump into William.

"Tell Aelita not to do that again." William then jumped into the digital sea.

Yumi

The meteor exploded.

"Great shot, Jeremy, real bull's-eye!" exclaimed Yumi as the boys celebrated. Luna smiled dreamily.

"It wasn't me. that was Xana! Looks like he gave up on his plan!"

"Xana wanted to capture me more than he wanted to destroy the Supercomputer. With me back on Earth, he couldn't do either of them," explained Aelita.

"Well Yumi, don't the brats get a thank you?" asked Hiroki.

"Thank you, brats!" She gave them each a kiss. Hiroki wiped his cheek, disgusted, while Johnny is very happy. " You guys really helped me this time."

" Yeah, I'm not going to let you forget that either!" said Hiroki.

"Oh, give me a little break, huh?" asked Yumi as she claps her hands to signal the return in time.

"Return to the Past now!"

Harry's and Jeremy's dorm

"We got the highest grade in the class," said Yumi as she entered the room. "So I promised to keep the moon."

"See? Your brother's not that bad after all," siad Aelita with a smile.

"That reminds me," said Harry as he turned to Aelita. "William left me a message for you. He wanted you to not do that again."

" Yeah, he can be pretty handy when he wants to. That's why I'm worried…" continued Yumi.

"Yeah? How come?" asked Ulrich as Yumi closed the door.

"Because now, I know it's now useless keeping the door locked to my room."
