"That is so beautiful!" credited Sissi with tears in her eyes.

"That is so idiotic!" muttered Odd as the class left the room.

"What didn't you like about it Odd?" asked Aelita. "It's a wonderful love story."

"I don't like it because It's a story."

"Would you be willing to die for love?" asked Jeremy. "If you get a girl, that is."

"Would you be ready to die for Yumi, Ulrich?" asked Odd.

"Better believe it!"

"What are you guys taking about?" asked Yumi as she joined them.

"Tragedy and true love," said Odd.

"We were missing about Romeo and Juliet today," added Harry.

"I found a way to improve source logarithm and I'll need your help Aelita," Jeremy said.

"Sure but let's have lunch."

"Those two," muttered Harry as he watched them go before taking as Sissi pulled him along.

"Do you think Aelita and Jeremy would be ready to die for each other?" asked Ulrich.

"For love, I don't know. They might die of boredom though!" Yelled Odd.

"What's that all about?" asked Yumi as she noticed the group and the three walked over. "Who is she?"

"Sissi's overseas penpal. She's visiting for four days. Her name is Brynga Herad-uh… Herodel…whatever!" Explained Milly.

"Bringa Heringsdötir," corrected Tamiya. "She's from Iceland."

"And I thought Sissi had changed. She's eating the attention."

"I really don't see what the attraction is," called Harry as Bringa focused on him.

"You're a handsome one."

"Whatever you're going to ask, I'm not interested."

"Ok Bringa, I'll show you to your room." Sissi took her bags and lead her inside as Harry watched.

"She's weird."

"Time to wake up you two." Yumi snapped her fingers in front of Odd's and Ulrich's faces.

"Huh?"

"What did you say?"

Lunch hall

"Did you say that the program modified gamma rays?" asked Aelita

"Yeah, that's right. That means we can have a much faster virtualisation. Or... wow." Jeremy had just noticed Bringa. In fact, everyone had noticed her. Sissi frowned as people barged in front of her.

"Thank you," said Bringa as she received a glass of water.

"Oh, she said thank you to me…!" muttered a dazed Matthias.

"I wonder what the boys see in her," muttered Yumi.

"She's pretty but I think you're prettier," said Ulrich.

"Thanks Ulrich."

"And the girls. They're all after her in order to find out her beauty secrets," added Aelita.

Later

"Ah, this weekend is R and R for me," exclaimed Odd as he left the room. "Rest and relaxation!"

"You're not going to the pool tomorrow with everyone else?" asked Yumi.

"I've got better things to do like hours and hours of sleep." Odd knocked into Sissi as he wasn't paying attention. "Sorry. I wasn't paying attention Sissi…" He noticed Bringa. "Hehehe…"

Groaning, Harry pulled Odd away.

"Ah, it's the boy who isn't affected by me. What's his name?" asked Bringa.

"That's Harry, my boyfriend."

"I tell ya, she's something else! She's gorgeous and slim and her hair's like gold! And did you see those deep, clear, green eyes? Absolutely incredible! Wow! And…did you get a look at that beautiful, soft skin she has? Bringa's not just beautiful, beautiful's not the word…she's I don't know, she's well, she's…" Odd looked for a word.

"You mean ugly?" asked Aelita as she sat down. Everyone laughed.

"You talk about her as if she's the eighth wonder of the world," added Yumi as Odd and Ulrich started to play table football.

"That's the word I was looking for!"

"Are you sure you don't have a problem Odd?" asked Ulrich.

"Like an overheated brain?" suggested Jeremy.

"Can't you see that she comes on strong to everyone?" asked Ulrich as Odd protested.

"You're just jealous!"

"There you are Odd! Are these your friends?" Bringa walked in and flipped her hair.

"Oh great, it's the beauty queen," muttered Harry.

"I'd like to meet them."

Odd introduced them.

"Are you the one whose name is Einstein?" asked Bringa to Jeremy. "You look very intelligent! Then there's you Harry. The boy who everyone is curious about. Clever, handsome and good at sports."

Harry rubbed his head nervously.

"Shall we go for a walk?" asked Bringa as she pulled Odd out of the door.

"She's definitely one of a kind. If I didn't know better, I'd say that Xana was involved," said Harry.

"I really wonder what she sees in that shrimp!" muttered Ulrich.

"Yeah right. Bringa needs someone a little more intellectually developed!" added Jeremy.

"You guys realise you're talking about your friend?" asked Aelita. "Jealous, both of you. I don't believe it. About fried brains, Jeremy, you take the cake."

"You're wrong, Aelita. I was just working out the statistical probability of a girl as pretty and charming as Bringa falling in love with a guy like Odd!"

"And the only boy resistant to her charms is Harry," muttered Yumi. "How do you do it Harry?"

"Xana does worse when he tries to break my will," said Harry with a shrug. "You could say that I learned from the best."

"She's right you know," said Jeremy as he and Ulrich left. "Bringa has started to mess with our heads. It's a good thing Harry doesn't have any aversion to her, just annoyance. That's probably means that she's nothing to do with Xana."

That night

Odd walked into his dorm to see everyone staring at him. "Did I miss an episode?"

"Odd, we have to talk," said Yumi.

"It's true. Ever since you started going out with Bringa, there's been friction," added Ulrich.

"And that's not very good for our mission. Your girlfriend is coming between us," said Jeremy.

"We think the best thing to do is to break up with her," said Aelita.

"You actually want me to break up with Bringa tomorrow?" asked Odd in disbelief. "Just because you can't get along? It's not our fault, it's you and your jealously."

"Odd, what's more important, the fate of the world or your relationships?" called Harry as Odd left the room.

"I have a date with your problem! Bye!" the door slammed shut.

"You look upset. If you don't want to go out…"

"It's fine. My friends are being lame. Let's go," said Odd as the two left.

Lab

"That's it. We have to leave it running all night," said Jeremy.

"Still thinking about Odd?" asked Aelita.

"I'm wondering of our gang will survive this eighth winner of the world."

"I'm sure it will," said Harry with a yawn.

"And I wouldn't worry," said Aelita. "Odd's romances have an average of two days."

"I don't know. I think that girl has turned our Casanova into a Romeo!"

Odd

"You've had such a sad face all night. You're not happy to be with me?"

"Sure I am.I was just thinking about the fight I had with my buddies," said Odd.

"Sometimes you make friends, sometime you lose them."

"They're not just any old pals. They're real friends and real friends count a lot more."

"That is true but your real friends have made you very sad. Now that we're together, you don't need them."

"It's really different with them. You wouldn't understand."

"Then explain it to me. What's the matter?" asked Bringa. "Don't you trust me?"

"We're kind of like an army. Of warriors."

"What do you mean?"

"Forget it."

"You said that you trusted me." Bringa started to walk off.

"No! Wait! Ok, let me show you something. But you have to keep it a secret."

Neither of them noticed the shadow moving in the trees.

Lab

"Tada! Here we are!" Odd took the blindfold off Bringa who gasped.

"This is incredible! What is this place?"

"I'm not entire sure I understand it all, it's pretty complicated."

Bringa started to type.

"Don't do that! The supercomputer was running something! What did you do?!"

"I'm sure it was nothing."

"I think we should go now." Bringa stayed at the terminal. "I'm being serious Bringa."

Bringa reluctantly stood up.

Kadic

"Huh? What's going on?" The superscan beeped urgently.

"False alarm Jeremy," said Harry sleepily. "Xana isn't attacking."

Lab

"Are you sure the alarm went off?" asked Aelita as Jeremy ran to the seat.

"I'm sure. Wet have to find what's going on."

"Oi, sleepyhead." Harry kicked his clone. "What's going on?"

"Huh? Boss? Oh, Odd and that Icelandic girl came here last night."

"And you didn't tell me?"

"You were sleeping."

The alarm went off again.

"This is crazy! Still no attack Harry?" asked Jeremy as he opened the logs.

"Nope."

"Do you think there's a virus?" asked Aelita.

"Could be a problem with the program we ran," suggested Jeremy as the clone disappeared.

"Or a certain cat."

"The program has been modified!" exclaimed Jeremy in surprise. "Some sort of parasitic data has been entered. Someone came here last night."

"Two someones, Odd's and his girlfriend," said Harry with a sigh.

"He made a big fat mistake," said Aelita as they watched the recording.

"No, his mistake is skinny and blonde," corrected Jeremy. "It was Bringa. By touching the keyboard, she messed up the program."

"Can you fix it Jeremy?" asked Aelita.

"It might take a while. And Xana could activate a tower." The computer beeped. "It could be a false alarm."

"But we can't be sure. Send me and Harry to Lyoko."

"It's too dangerous," protested Jeremy.

"But if Xana is acting up, we should be ready. You need someone there, like before we had the superscan."

"Alright."

Grinning, the two entered the scanners.

Lyoko

"I thought you said the forest sector," complained Harry as the two landed and looked around the desolate landscape. "This is the ice."

"We really have a problem because I sent you to the forest."

Kadic

"Jeremy? He must be with his Icelandic girlfriend. Huh? Be right there." Ulrich ended the call. "Odd took the eighth wonder to the factory and the computer is all bugged up."

"Sissi, have you seen Odd?" asked Yumi as the girl past.

"He's in the park with my penpal." Sissi growled out. "And I really wanted to spend time with her."

Lyoko

Aelita sat cross-legged as Harry kept a look out.

"Aelita?"

"I don't feel any pulsations. I don't think there's a problem," said Aelita as she did up.

"Ok, I'm going to bring you back in."

The two disappeared and reappeared in the mountains.

"Ok, the program is really buggy!" called Harry. "We're in the mountains and not alone."

"I'll warn the others."

Harry fired and hit one of the Kankrelats.

Park

Bringa was stroking Odd's hair.

"Odd!"

"Oh, hi guys." Odd sat up and looked at the two.

"How was the movie last night? Which one was it?" asked Ulrich.

"Uh, Jurassic Experiment."

"Oh yeah? You sure it wasn't "Two Rats in the Factory"?" asked Yumi.

"Uh no, what makes you say that?" asked Odd nervously.

"Because Jeremy's got the whole film on video. The actors are the spitting image of you two lovebirds! Anything to say?"

"It's not what you think!"

"What's in that head of yours? The supercomputer is all bugged up! Odd, you have just betrayed your way out of the group!"

"What's the problem? Sure, we visited the lab but it's not the end of the world," said Bringa.

"For your information, it could be!"

"I've had enough of these stories. I'm going to the swimming pool. Odd, are you coming?"

"I'm really sorry."

"Perhaps Xana should try something like this on Harry," muttered Ulrich as they watched the two walk off.

"Don't say things like that Ulrich!"

"Jeremy? Things could be better. Huh? Why did you do that? Be right there. What's the matter today? Everything's gone crazy."

Lyoko

"Hang on you two. Ulrich and Yumi are on their way. I'll soon have finished fixing the supercomputer soon."

"Sure, we're fine. Just watching for William to turn up," said Harry as he peered at the monsters.

"And survival here is a matter of microseconds," added Aelita as the two ran over to another rock while attacking. A Blok blew up as Aelita tried to soar into the air only to be knocked down by an energy wave.

"William..." Harry aimed and fired at the boy as the monsters fired on Aelita.

"Cease fire." The Blok turned slightly as William began to run towards them. "Finally! Just the three of us!"

"Man, William's determined. He's tried to get me to Xana so many times and failed and still comes back for more," muttered Harry as Aelita threw an energy field. William dodged them looked surprised when he saw the distance between them. Grinning, Harry ran in circles around William who ended up hopelessly spinning before running after the two.

"We're here."

"Ok, I'm sending you straight to the mountain sector."

"How do you intend to send us there is the supercomputer is all messed up?" asked Ulrich. Harry glanced up.

"The cavalry is here."

"We have to risk it. Harry and Aelita well be at the mercy of William otherwise."

"It gets better and better."

Desert

"Didn't you say the mountain sector?" asked Ulrich. "Bright idea."

"Sorry."

"Calm Down Ulrich, we could have ended up in the digital sea," reminded Yumi.

"I could try again."

"We'll find our own way."

Mountain

"We should split up," whispered Harry as they hid behind a rock. "William can't go after us both at once."

"Too late." Harry stared at the sword before looking up at William. Aelita threw an energy field at him before using the distraction as a chance to get away. Rolling his eyes Harry ran in the opposite direction before hiding behind another rock. Listening to the footsteps, Harry sighed before inching around the rock to bump into William who chuckled as a guardian formed around him. Staring at the trapped Harry, William smiled before going after Aelita.

"Aelita, are you alright? I'm nearly finished."

"No, I'm not alright!" A Kankrelat knocked her out of the air as William reformed and slammed her against a rock.

"Xana's finally going to have your company for good." William chuckled darkly.

"Where's Harry?" Aelita struggled against the smoke.

"Safe."

Yumi's fan hit William in the stomach.

"Hey William, when're you gonna learn that we never abandon our friends?" called Ulrich as he ran at the boy. Yumi dealt with a Kankrelat.

Swimming pool

Odd watched as Bringa dived. Everyone else cheered and made offers.

"Hey, would you like to have a fantastic breathtaking experience in the moonlight today?" asked Nicholas. Odd left.

Lyoko

"Ulrich, Yumi. Go real easy. I'm not entirely sure you'll come back."

"You're telling us this now?" asked Yumi. "Any news on Harry?"

"No. It's like he's disappeared off the map."

"Thanks a lot. What's the bad news?" asked Ulrich.

"How could I possibly ask for more?" asked William as he tilted his head. "I get four birds with one sword."

"Well see about that!"

"Seen to." Ulrich knocked William's legs from under him and attacked. William blocked using his wrist guard.

"Could you use my help?" asked Odd as he arrived in the lab.

"You're not exactly welcome around here. I have no time to chat with you."

"Then let's not waste any time and virtualise me right away."

"You could appear anywhere."

"That's my problem."

Harry

Groaning, Harry tried to reach outside the guardian but it was like moving through treacle. Treacle that shifted with him.

Why do you fight my embrace?

The question came from nowhere. Growing, Harry tried again to escape.

It's impossible for you to escape. Please stop, you're only hurting yourself.

A figure passed in front of the guardian.

"Harry?" Racing out, Harry tried to touch Odd's paw but everything went black.

"Harry! Harry!" Odd grumbled. "Jeremy, can you do something about this?"

A clone of Harry appeared, causing the guardian to get confused and explode.

"Harry!" Grabbing his shoulders, Odd shook Harry violently. "Herb's going out with Sissi!"

"Where is he!" Harry punched Odd's in the stomach. "Uh, sorry Odd."

"Thought that would wake you up." Odd rubbed his stomach. "Though did you have to do it so hard?"

"Where's Aelita?" Stretching, Harry looked around. "I don't remember much after William put me in that thing. Xana would know better though. Guardians nerve really worked."

"I really suggest you two get going," interjected Jeremy. "Aelita, Yumi and Ulrich need you."

"Gotcha Einstein!"

"I'll go on what. I've got to really annoy William. It was a good idea though." Harry ran with Odd trailing behind.

Aelita

Yumi dodged the shots of a Blok before getting frozen. Aelita hit a kankrelat as Yumi freed herself. Ulrich dodged William's strikes as he was forced back. Having behind him as he stopped, Ulrich looked vaguely surprised as William attacked him.

"Ulrich! No!" Yumi got devirtualised.

"Pretty boy!" Skidding to a stop, Harry raised an eyebrow as William turned to him with a look of surprise and annoyance as Aelita hit the last kankrelat. "I've got a bone to pick with you."

William advanced on Aelita as Odd caught up.

"You think I'm scared of that popsicle stick?"

William looked between the three of them.

"I get to fight him first!" Odd's shot William in the stomach as Harry talked. Glaring, William pushed Aelita off the edge with super smoke before disappearing.

"Aelita!" Harry jumped off the edge and caught her before flapping his wings.

Scanners

"Well, I know exactly what you're going to say," said odd as they strolled out. "That I'm a total lameo and I should be kicked out the group. And you're right too guys. I should have never shown the supercomputer to Bringa. It's unforgivable."

"No, you simply forgot that inside that head of yours, there happens to be a brain," corrected Jeremy. "And you did find Harry."

"You weren't the only one with was lame. We were jealous of you," added Ulrich.

"Still friends?"

"Still friends."

"I really wish Xana would stop going after me," muttered Harry. "It's seriously annoying."

"Cheer up. He won't go after you forever," said Aelita.

"And there is a way to fix the mess I made," added Odd. "A return to the past."

"I don't think we need to worry about that," said Jeremy.

Kadic

Everyone said goodbye as Bringa waited out the gate.

"She forgot to say goodbye to me!"

"That's why I'm not worried," said Jeremy.

"Who cares anyway? There's no shortage of girls around here," said Odd as Sissi joined them. She hired Harry.

"Hey Sissi."

"Now I have no one competing with me for you!"
