The Thing With Hajimes

Me: sorry it's been so long since the last update! I have been a little better about updating "If I Were A Boy", but I have to admit, college can make it difficult to do updates and writer's block for this story has not been helping at all.

Kate:Just a reminder, but the list of Hajimes and their legendaries is on Chapter 50. Ash is thinking of putting up another list so people don't have to go back as far.

Me: Also, I realize that Tornadus fights often with Thundurus, so Keith probably won't fit the bill. So I was wondering if the readers would be able to help by suggesting people to fill the role of tornadus. Remember you can pick from my OCs, pokemon ranger characters, pokemon special characters, pokemon anime characters, pokemon game characters, and vocaloid characters.

Kellyn: I can't believe this a thing, but she is having trouble coming up with "filler stuff" that would happen between what is going on in the story now and prom.

Keith: So if you would like to see or read something or having any suggestions, she'll be happy to read them, though she's happy to read just about anything you guys send her with your reviews.

Karrie: pokelover0ash does not own anything but her OCs.

Chapter 56: A Legendary Tale Or Two

"So how long are we going to be here?" Rhythmi asked as she held a sleeping Kiwi in her arms. Karrie shrugged.

"I still want to know how all of this is logical," Isaac complained.

"Are we going to get an explanation?" Keith asked.

"People have been chosen by legendaries to bestowed powers beyond normal humans, similar if not better than most pokemon, to fight against evil and destruction of the world," Karrie replied.

"Centuries of history summed up in one run on sentence, good job Kare," Kellyn dryly commented and Karrie smiled at him.

"You're welcome," Karrie replied.

"Centuries ago, the world was in danger of being completely and utterly destroyed due to an evil force working behind awful tensions between humans and pokemon," Gold said.

"You know stuff?" Crystal asked. "More importantly, you know history?!"

"Tsk, the elders drilled history of us into our heads as soon as we could count to five," Gold replied. "Those old geezers are brutal."

"They waited a little longer for me," Red commented.

"Grandpa Hajime has his own way, something that makes little sense to anyone but him," Garnet replied.

"Grandpa Hajime?" Kate asked.

"The dude's ancient," Gold commented.

"He's our great-great-grandfather, right?" Karrie asked.

"Something like that," Kellyn replied.

"Powerful and ancient, he's the head of the family," Kenny explained.

"Anyways, Arceus bestowed power to someone he found worthy to fight alongside pokemon and humans to defeat the evil force," Lyra said. "Mew, Celebi, Azelf, Mespirit, and Uxie joined in on Arceus' plan. Other legendaries either couldn't put their differences behind them or didn't feel like it had anything to do with them. They were able to push back the evil forces enough so that pokemon and humans could get along."

"The force came back and even with other legendaries joining the fight, nothing could be done to get rid of it completely or even seal it away for a period of time," Karrie added.

"So they looked to the great dragon, Rayquaza for help," Kellyn added.

"He wanted nothing to do with any of them," Karrie added quickly.

"But there was a human, daughter of Arceus' pick, who was able to connect with Rayquaza and create a bond with him," Gold said. Kate tried not to stare at Karrie and Keith tried to fight against his gut feeling that there was something about the story that spelt out impending doom for the Hajimes, especially Karrie.

"The Legendary Hajime," Garnet quietly added.

"With Rayquaza and his choice, they were able to seal away the force, but not forever, thus creating the need to continue having legendaries pick people to have strengths and powers beyond any human or pokemon alone." Red finished. Kate nodded while wondering why Keldeo didn't tell her those details and why the Hajimes were avoiding the topic of Dreamwalkers. She looked at Karrie and felt outrage grow in her. Karrie looked so sad and yet no one wanted to talk about her fate that was traditionally given.

'Control your emotions.' A female voice echoed in her head. 'Also, whatever you do, NEVER speak or communicate anything about Dreamwalkers to any of them.'

'Who are you?' Kate asked.

'Zenya, Cresselia's choice, and it is part of my duties to look over Dreamwalkers,' the voice answered. 'Don't worry about a paradox and don't worry about everyone else, they have no idea I'm talking to you right now and try to keep it this way. How you constantly and freely slip into even Kellyn's communication link with Karrie which is one of his most private secure lines is annoying yet impressive.'

"Are the hunters those chosen by the evil force?" Kate asked. "And how does the rest of the world completely miss crucial battles and wars?"

"I think the evil force uses them," Karrie replied. "Hunters do get a lot of powers from that force, I think, if I remember that correctly."

'Not all Dreamwalkers are evil or bad, but most Hajimes have been raised to believe that Dreamwalkers are just as bad as Hunters, if not worse.' Zenya explained. 'Unfortunately, with power comes responsibilities and temptation. Dreamwalkers after a period of time were not treated very well by Protectors nor regular humans. There have been periods of persecutions, but they're still around. I fear that the Dreamwalkers are starting to band together under the wrong leader, a leader with a darkened heart who has listened and been exposed too much to that evil force everyone is talking about. Bruno, Darkrai, Cresselia, and I still have hope for them and that things can change for the better.'

"Illusions, different dimensions, seemingly friendly competitions that are really life and death situations," Garnet said as he listed off examples.

'Just remember that there is always multiple sides to every story, not everything is as it seems, and almost always is there an exception to a rule.' Zenya said before ending her conversation.

"What are we going to do while everyone recovers?" Crystal asked.

"We'll make it up as we go," Gold replied.

"What can you guys do?" Isaac asked. "Does everyone in the Hajime family have a bond with a legendary that makes them a super hero?"

"I like the concept of super hero," Karrie commented with a smile.

"Yeah, most of the time people call us monsters," Red said with a smile.

"I have a strong bond with Thundurus," Gold said. "So I can fly and use electricity. Ground type moves don't work as long as I'm at least hovering and water has to be very powerful to have a chance at weakening me. It works very similar to how it is with pokemon. Thundurus is part of the Forces of Nature so I am very in tune with nature and sometimes can speak with nature, though Ethan's the one who is phenomenal with that. I can influence and change the weather if I really want to, though most of time the only change in weather I can do involves making storms. Ooh, and rocks hurt and I am weak to ice type moves. I am proud to say that unlike Karrie, I can handle cold weather pretty well."

"Not all the legendaries have picked someone yet, but I believe everyone in the family does have a bond with one of them," Kenny explained. "I have a strong bond with Moltres."

"Some of us have tougher skin than others," Red explained. "Our abilities tend to be a direct correlation with the abilities of whom we have an extremely strong bond with."

"Interesting," Isaac commented and Karrie sweat dropped.

"No, you can't study us like a lab experiment," Karrie replied.

"Right, ethics," Isaac said as he realized he couldn't perform most of the tests and experiments he wanted to in order to learn more about the Hajimes. "How about I right down observations from my own personal experience with everyone? Oh, and can I study your DNA?"

"We're supposed to ask before taking notes and writing down observations?" Crystal quietly asked Yellow. Yellow looked confused and Gold (who overheard) looked appalled.

"You've been treating me like I was a research project?" Gold asked.

"I've been treating you like the annoying teenager you are," Crystal replied. "I just have been keeping up observations in notebooks, it's not like I actually write down that Gold Hajime is the subject I have been studying. If anyone reads it, then they would just know that I was observing a male specimen that was alive."

"The old geezers are going to be even more grumpy than normal if they find out about that," Gold commented after groaning.

"No physical descriptions?" Yellow asked, concerned for her friends. "You normally write those down for each pokemon you observe."

"I'm not a pokemon!" Gold protested.

"Of course not! I don't need to write a description for his looks when I know I'll never forget what he looks like," Crystal said while blushing.

"Oh?" Gold asked as his eyebrows shot up.

"Why does it seem like the oldest members of your family are real pains in the rear end?" Keith asked and Crystal was grateful for the attempt in a change of conversation.

"Because they are," Gold replied before studying Crystal with his golden yellow eyes. "Why is your face so red? Can you not forget because every detail is ingrained into your brain?"

"That's creepy!" Crystal exclaimed as she shoved him away from her. "You're just an annoying friend, that's all. I don't forget what my friends look like."

"Then what's your excuse for not recognizing some of your childhood friends?" Garnet asked and Crystal turned red before throwing some foreign object at Garnet.

"How did you know about that?" Crystal asked. Garnet rubbed his head where a bump was starting to form. "Topaz." Crystal gritted her teeth. "I'm going to kill her when we get back."

"Ha!" Gold exclaimed while grinning wildly and proudly. "You think I'm gorgeous." Crystal blushed."You want to kiss me." He then proceeded to taunt her and tease her in a singsong voice: "You want to hug me. You want to love me. You want to hold me. You want to smooch me. You want to-" Crystal put her hand on his lips. Gold turned bright red and Crystal wasn't too much better.

"Who knew Gold watching Miss Congeniality would end up helping him?" Lyra commented with a shrug.

"Great movie," Karrie commented.

"Is there going to be a confession or some progress for a couple or what?" Rhythmi asked.

"I-" Gold began to say as he was confused thanks to the mixed signals he had been receiving from Crystal for the longest time. Crystal interrupted him by giving him a quick peck on his lips with her own. Gold's jaw dropped.

"Don't get me wrong, I only did that because that is what's supposed to happen at the end of that quote," Crystal said as she shoved Gold away.

"Can't wait until I get to tell the others about this," Garnet said only to get a death glare from Crystal. "Or maybe not." Karrie started to toss bits of paper into Gold's mouth along with other miscellaneous objects including, but not limited to bits of metal, staples, crumbs, skittles, and M&M. Keith joined her in her endeavor while Gold just sat there trying to figure out and compute what had just happened. Kenny face palmed and Kellyn sweat dropped.

"Should we be concerned?" Kate quietly asked.

"He's not going to die or anything," Kellyn replied with a shrug. "Though it is concerning that he is having trouble figuring out his own romantic issues even though he only had to take one look at Keith and Karrie to know something was up." Keith and Karrie turned red and Gold began to spit out everything they had put into it.

"Why do you have to spit on us?!" Kenny and Lyra asked as they tried to get Gold's germs off of themselves. Yellow gave him a cup of water and he downed it. Everyone was curious of what Gold's next move was. Gold rested his hand on half of his face and rested his elbows on his knees in such a way that he could not clearly see Crystal.

"Well, that was unexpected," Rhythmi commented.

"Mhm," Kenny replied. "I'm bored now." Karrie pulled out a Monopoly board game. "You're on!" Hours later and sparks were flying, literally, as Yellow tried to calm down Gold, Garnet, and Red, all of whom were not very happy with each other nor were they very happy with Lyra and Kenny. Both Kellyn and Kate were hiding behind Karrie as much as they could. Kate realized quickly that after her powers awakened, getting shocked hurt a whole lot more than it used to. Kellyn was tired of being shocked one too many times by accident while Karrie was very close to hurting him for using her as a shield. Electricity didn't her as much as everyone else, but it still affected her. Keith was wide eyed as he tried to figure out what was the best reaction to the situation as he realized what had really happened to Todd's shoes over the summer. Isaac was ready to bolt to get someone to stop them if necessary while Rhythmi protectively held Kiwi in her arms. Crystal was very close to whacking Gold upside the head for making her hair stick up. The tension was broken when Keith started to laugh.

"Huh?" Garnet and Gold asked as the two of them had each other's collar in their hands and Kenny's in the other. Red stopped trying to get in between his brothers to get to his brown haired brown eyed cousins with Yellow attempting to hold him back. Crystal stopped mid-attack with the rule book. Everyone was staring at Keith.

"Sorry, but I think it's funny how all-powerful people can still get upset and get very into a board game," Keith said as he tried to stop laughing. "I can't believe this, but I missed this, the closeness of family bonds you guys have." Kellyn tried to hold back his laughter and ended up failing while Karrie and Kate both smiled and nodded. Gold let out a sigh before smiling and ruffling Kenny's and Garnet's heads. He got shocked and slightly burnt in response, but he ended up laughing until he noticed what Crystal was about to do.

"Just what was that book going to be used for?" Gold asked and Crystal turned red from embarrassment. She crossed her arms and looked away from him. Red growled at Lyra who giggled in response. He looked back and saw Yellow, causing him to retreat temporarily.

"Revenge for my hair, of course," Crystal replied as she looked at him.

"You guys can be so dangerous sometimes," Rhythmi said as she glared at the boys while holding Kiwi close to her chest. The Hajimes winced at the memory of what had happened to Kiwi as well as at the remembrance of the damage they were all capable of doing. Rhythmi sighed. "I'm sorry, let's find something different to do."

"How about truth or dare?" Kiwi asked as she opened her eyes.

"You were awake?" Rhythmi asked.

"For a little bit," Kiwi replied with a shrug.

"Sure!" Lyra replied.

"I'm all for dares!" Gold exclaimed.

"Bring on the dares then, Sparky," Karrie commented with a smirk.

"I can't see much good coming out of this," Kellyn commented while smiling slightly.

"What? Are you scared ice boy?" Lyra asked.

"Lyra's the queen of this game," Kenny said as he gave his sister a fist bump.

"Is there any human game you two aren't great at when put together?" Red asked.

"Who knows?" Kenny asked with wide grin.

"Let's play!" Keith exclaimed.

"Well, if that's what everyone wants to do," Yellow said quietly with a nod.

"It's been too long since I've last played truth or dare," Kate said as she rolled back her sleeves.

"Crystal?" Kiwi asked and Crystal sighed.

"Well, seeing as I would be outnumbered if I opposed and if I go with I get a shot at getting revenge against Gold, then yes, yes I will play," Crystal replied.

"Yipee!" Kiwi exclaimed as she got off of Rhythmi and sat next to her new favorite human being (Rhythmi). "So who get's to start?" Lyra took out a bottle and placed in the middle of the circle everyone made. "So when it's your turn, spin the bottle and the person it lands on is the one who is the main target of your truth or dare question or challenge!"

"Youngest first," Garnet said as he smiled kindly at Kiwi. Kiwi smiled brightly and reached over to spin the bottle. Everyone watched the bottle spin around. No one was quite sure if they were supposed to be praying and hoping it would not land of them seeing as this was Kiwi. Kellyn and Karrie were the only ones who the majority felt that had a reason to not want to be subjected to Kiwi's questions or dares. Eventually it landed on Rhythmi.

"Aw man, I was hoping to land on Karrie, Kellyn, or Gold," Kiwi said while frowning. Her frown disappeared as it was replaced with a smile. "Rhythmi, truth or dare?"

"Dare," Rhythmi replied almost immediately after the question was asked.

"I dare you to talk in an accent for the next three rounds," Kiwi said.

"Alright," Rhythmi replied with a smiled. "Is it mah turn now?" Kiwi nodded and Rhythmi grinned before spinning the bottle. Keith suppressed a groan as he watched the bottle spin around. He resisted the urge to cheer when it landed on Crystal instead of him. "So will it be truth o' dast?"

"Err, truth! I mean dare, I mean..." Crystal replied.

"Truth it is!" Rhythmi exclaimed. "Whuffo' did yo' kiss Gold?"

"I, um," Crystal replied while blushing. "Because I felt like it and he was being annoying. There, happy?"

"Not quite, but satisfied fo' now." Rhythmi said. Crystal spun the bottle. It landed on Garnet. Garnet swallowed his own salvia nervously as he looked at the blue haired teenager.

"Truth or dare?" Crystal asked and Garnet stared at her while he tried to figure out which option was the safest. A minute passed and Garnet gave his answer after being elbowed in the rib cage by Gold.

"Dare," Garnet replied and Crystal smiled.

"I dare you to let Topaz and Moon pick out a new look and outfits that you will have to upkeep for a month as soon as we get back," Crystal said and Garnet's jaw dropped.

"But that means I'll have to wear it during the league tournament!" Garnet complained.

"A dare's a dare," Red said as he crossed his arms.

"It can't be too bad," Gold commented. "Super Serious Gal needs to work on her dares. Moon's too considerate and Topaz is Topaz."

"Oh, just watch how it plays out," Crystal replied as if to challenge Gold.

"Sure, Moon's considerate, she only dressed Nathan up in pink cowboy outfit once," Garnet mumbled as he rolled his eyes. He spun the bottle around with high hopes that it would land on one of his brothers. It landed on Kate. Garnet threw his hands up and shook his head. "Luck is not on my side today." Kate chuckled. "Alright, Kate, truth or dare?"

"Dare," Kate said and Garnet crossed his arms as he thought for a little bit.

"Hmm, after considering all the suggestions and the death threat, I decided that I will dare you to switch clothes with Karrie." Garnet replied as he sweat dropped. It wasn't the best dare he could have come up with it, but when your relatives can talk in your head to you and have supernatural powers, thinking and coming up with a safe one can be rather difficult. Kate shrugged before grabbing Karrie to go to the bathroom so they could change.

"They won't go much further up my thighs!" Karrie complained and Keith face palmed himself as he tried to avoid blushing and/or thinking about anything that might pop up into a guy's brain.

"Not my fault you got bigger hips than me!" Kate countered and Kellyn ended up copying Keith by accident.

"Sometimes I am completely convinced that neither of them really know shame," Isaac commented. Almost ten minute later and the two came out and neither one of them looked very happy to wear the other's clothes. In the beginning of high school, it would have been simple with little issues, but now that was not the case. Karrie pulled at Kate's brown hoodie in attempt to cover her thighs since having really tight jeans on that wouldn't button made her feel extremely self conscious. Karrie wasn't able to zip the hoodie up all the way since the zipper would not go up past her chest. The purple blouse covered what it needed to, but without the hoodie, everyone would be able to notice that it didn't cover all of her belly. Thank goodness she didn't have to wear Kate's shoes. It would have felt like she was wearing clown shoes. Kate was uncomfortable because Karrie's washed out skinny jeans ended up being too short and tight towards the end while being to big at the waist , to the point that she had to hold her pants up so they wouldn't fall down. The black t-shirt was really baggy on her making her feel super skinny (a positive) and extremely flat chest (a negative). The only thing that seemed to fit her was Karrie's red jacket. Karrie sat down between Kellyn and Keith while Kate sat between Kellyn and Rhythmi.

"So, how does it feel?" Garnet asked.

"Like I've been stuffed into Kiwi-sized clothes," Karrie replied while glaring at her cousin.

"Like I have no boobs or butt," Kate replied as she hugged her knees. Karrie turned bright red and immediately covered her chest. Kellyn and Keith both blushed, but kept silent as they weren't sure how to respond without something spiraling out of their control.

"Wow, no response from Keith or Kellyn," Garnet commented only to receive a pair of death glares.

"Don't blame them, dangerous topic, a woman's appearance and figure is," Isaac replied.

"Since when did you speak Yoda?" Karrie asked and Kate spun the bottle.

"Exactly how am I supposed to respond to stuffed Kiwi-sized clothes?" Keith asked and Garnet shrugged. The bottle pointed at Keith. "Aw crap."

"Truth or dare?" Kate asked, a mischievous glint gleaming from her eyes.

"Don't be a sissy now," Gold added with a cocky grin. Keith sighed in defeat.

"I'm going to regret this, but dare," Keith said.

"Put makeup on," Kate said and Keith frowned but turned to Rhythmi.

"I suppose you have some of that stuff with you?" Keith asked and Rhythmi grinned before taking out a big bag of makeup products. "How do you carry all of that on you without any of us noticing?"

"I had it my purse," Rhythmi replied. Keith sighed and went through the different things, trying to figure out what he was supposed to do. Rhythmi sighed and got up and began to help him after watching him look at eyeliner as if he was genuinely confused as to whether or not it was something that actually was supposed to go on his face. In less than five minutes, Keith was wearing eyeliner, mascara, gold eye shadow, foundation, blush, and red lipstick.

"Am I pretty?" Keith asked in a joking manner.

"Like a drag queen," Gold replied while giving him a thumbs up.

"You're sure to win first place in the beauty pageant," Isaac commented sarcastically. Keith glared at him before spinning the bottle. This time it landed on Rhythmi. Keith cheered and Rhythmi frowned as she was worried about what Keith would do.

"Truth or dare?" Keith asked her.

"Truth, I don't trust you with a dare," Rhythmi replied.

"Oh really?" Keith asked as he smirked. "What is something you wouldn't want anyone in this group to ask you?" Rhythmi's jaw dropped. "Yes, I'm planning ahead."

"Um, well," Rhythmi responded before biting her lip. "I guess one would be...the strangest place I've ever had to pee in." Keith forwned as he wasn't sure if even he wanted to use that against her. Rhythmi spun the bottle and it landed on Lyra. "Truth or dare?"

"Dare," Lyra said.

"I dare you to drink a mystery concoction made by the group that isn't deadly or dangerous," Rhythmi said. The group made a quick adventure to the kitchen and made something quick for Lyra before going back upstairs. It was a concoction made up of ice cream, marshmallows, apple sauce, pizza sauce, pineapples, apples, meat balls, sprinkles, orange soda, green beans, chocolate, cheese, bananas, and strawberries. Lyra downed the whole thing.

"Oh man, that was awful," Lyra commented before spinning the bottle. The bottle picked out it's next victim: Red. "Truth or dare?"

"Dare," Red replied and both of his brothers, plus Kenny, both shook their heads as if they thought he made a horrible choice.

"I dare you to kiss Yellow," Lyra said.

"What about Kiwi?" Isaac asked.

"I approve!" Kiwi replied. Red turned into the same color as his namesake while Yellow blushed hard. Red kissed Yellow on the cheek, disappointing Lyra, Rhythmi, and Kiwi. "Aw." Red reached over and spun the bottle. It landed on Karrie.

"Dare," Karrie said.

"Alright then, I dare you to rhyme whatever you say for the rest of the game," Red replied with a proud smile.

"What?" Karrie exclaimed and Keith coughed as if to remind her that she now had to rhyme. "Mutt." She spun the bottle and it landed on Kenny.

"Truth, my dear cousin," Kenny said.

"Can I kill him? I promise it won't be based off a whim," Karrie replied. "This rhyming thing is annoying, my dares he is avoiding. What is the dumbest thing you have done on a dare? You may squirm in despair."

"You're not too great at rhyming, are you?" Keith asked and Karrie frowned.

"Running around in nothing but my underwear in the middle of winter while pretending to be on fire and yelling how much I loved bubblegum ice cream." Kenny said.

"Ha! I remember that!" Gold exclaimed.

"That's what you get for insulting one of my favorite ice cream flavors," Lyra commented with a grin. Kenny shook his head before spinning the bottle. This time it landed on Kellyn.

"Truth or dare?" Kenny asked.

"Truth," Kellyn replied.

"When did you first realize that you had romantic feelings for Kate?" Kenny asked and Kellyn blinked slowly as blush crept up onto his face.

"Maybe when I was ten," Kellyn replied and Karrie coughed rather loudly. Kellyn rolled his eyes. "Okay, more like when I was nine." He glared at his sister.

"That long?" Kate asked and she sounded very surprised though she didn't mean to. Kellyn blushed very hard as he spun the bottle using his good leg. It landed on Isaac.

"Truth," Isaac said and Kellyn nodded.

"What's your favorite thing about Rhythmi?" Kellyn asked and Isaac swallowed nervously. It was very dangerous question to answer. "No passing."

"Shouldn't that be an easy question?" Karrie asked and Keith sweat dropped. "What a cheesy suggestion."

"No, if he says the wrong thing, then Rhythmi will have his head on silver platter," Keith replied.

"Oh mow," Karrie responded, hating how she had to rhyme. It was amusing though, to see Isaac almost overheat his brain trying to come up with the right answer.

"Don't tell me you don't have a favorite!" Rhythmi exclaimed.

"No! It's not that!" Isaac exclaimed. "One of my favorite things about is your personality."

"My personality?" Rhythmi asked.

"Eyes? Beautiful hair?" Isaac asked. "You're intelligent? You?"

"Just spin the bottle, genius," Keith said and Isaac glared at him before obeying. It landed on Gold who was disappointed that he most likely would not get a good dare or truth.

"Dare, Einstein," Gold said.

"I dare you to change clothes with Crystal," Isaac said and Rhythmi hugged him while Crystal glared at him. Gold shrugged before looking at Crystal. Isaac wasn't sure why he was being rewarded for his dare, but as long as Rhythmi wasn't mad, he was happy and wasn't going to question it. Crystal reluctantly went and changed clothes with Gold. It was hard for her to hide the fact that she liked how comfortable and small she felt in Gold's clothes. That and she was able to smell Gold's scent without being a creep.

"Oh my eyes! That outfit is his demise!" Karrie exclaimed and Keith decided that he would try to undo her dare as soon as he could. Crystal's skirt looked very funny on someone with muscular hairy masculine legs. His brothers thought the red turtleneck tank top was a nice touch as it barely covered more than his chest. Gold gave up on Crystal's jacket since he decided it was not worth her wrath if he broke her jacket.

"Next?" Gold asked as he spun the bottle. It landed on Yellow. "Oh come on, one of the only people in the room I would feel bad daring!"

"Um, I guess I'll try a dare," Yellow nervously replied and Gold nodded.

"Then I dare you to sit in Red's lap until either the end of the game or when another dare dictates otherwise," Gold said and Yellow turned bright red before she climbed into her crush's lap. Red blushed and glared at Gold who shrugged. Yellow spun the bottle and it landed on Keith.

"Dare me," Keith said.

"Okay then, um, give Karrie your clothes, that's your dare." Yellow replied as she couldn't think of anything mean and she was tired of watching Karrie be so uncomfortable in Kate's clothes. Keith's eyebrows rose, but he proceeded to take off his shirt and pants off.

"What are you doing?!" Karrie exclaimed as her face turned bright red.

"Aren't you supposed to be rhyming?" Kiwi asked. Kiwi didn't see Keith strip since Rhythmi covered her eyes just in time. Red frowned after he noticed Yellow blushing from seeing Keith in nothing but his boxers.

"This is evildoing!" Karrie added so that she would be rhyming. Keith handed her his clothes. Karrie muttered a thanks before going off to change. Keith spun the bottle, thinking nothing of the fact that he was very exposed. It pointed at Kiwi.

"I dare you to take a dare for Karrie, whether it was a past one or one in the future," Keith said proudly after Kiwi told him she wanted to be dared. Kiwi pouted, but then agreed to take Karrie's rhyming dare. "Karrie! You can stop rhyming!"

"OH THANK GOODNESS! HALLELUJAH!" Karrie exclaimed as she ran out of the bathroom in now over sized clothes. The t-shirt was baggy on her and hid her figure, but the pants surprisingly didn't fit too bad around the waist (Karrie was just happy to wear something that wasn't tight and didn't outline her figure). Karrie tripped and fell on the floor. The pant legs were much longer than Karrie's legs. Karrie got up and made it back to her spot in one piece. "Thank you." Yellow and Keith both nodded. Kiwi spun the bottle and it landed on Red.

"Fine, I'll do a truth," Red said as he rolled his eyes. Lyra and Kiwi had both bugged him via telepathy to pick something different.

"Who in this room do you love the most?" Kiwi asked and Red groaned as he tried not to blush too hard.

"Yellow," Red mumbled.

"Didn't hear you, what was that?" Lyra asked.

"Yellow," Red replied.

"Can't hear you," Kiwi teased.

"I love Yellow!" Red shouted only to widen his eyes in shock as he turned so red that he could compete with a tomato for red color. Lyra and Kiwi giggled and grinned like idiots. Gold, Kenny, and Garnet face palmed. They knew Red should have known better than to think that anything less was going to happen when Lyra and Kiwi teamed up.

"Why are we shouting love confessions?" Rebecca asked as she popped her head in. "Kiwi, it is way past your bedtime."

"Aw, but Mom!" Kiwi whined, but Rebecca wasn't going to let Kiwi win. Kiwi exited the room to go to bed and all eyes turned on Yellow and Red.

"Well, let's finish this up with asking Yellow what she thinks about Red's confession," Kate said.

"Aw, but I wanted a chance to get something romantic out of Gold and Crystal," Rhythmi complained.

"Don't be a devil!" Gold exclaimed while blushing.

"It makes me very happy," Yellow quietly said. "To hear that Red loves me, makes me very happy. Because I never thought that he would ever love me back."

"Wait, what?" Red asked.

"She loves you too, bro," Garnet explained to his dense brother of whom he resembled most appearance wise.

"Oh," Red said and then Garnet held up his hand and started to put down each finger, slowly, as if he was counting down to something. "Wait! She loves me!" Red stood straight up and lifted Yellow up in the process, similar to how Rafiki held Simba up in The Lion King. Yellow, for a moment, looked like a confused child. She blushed and was very glad that she had been wearing pants and not a dress. Red looked so happy and proud.

"My brother's a genius," Garnet commented sarcastically.

"Which one?" Gold asked.

"All of them," Gold replied as he rolled his eyes.

"Was that sarcasm?" Gold asked.

"Depends, which brother do you want me to call a genius?" Garnet asked.

"We've trained you a little too well," Gold replied while sweat dropping. Red hugged Yellow and Rhythmi snapped a picture to send to Blue.

"Yippee! They confessed!" Lyra cheered.

"Took them long enough, though the blame is definitely all on Red and how dense he is," Kenny commented.

"Congratulations," Kate said and Yellow nodded while blushing. Crystal smiled sweetly, causing Gold to blush slightly.

"So does that mean we're like Kate and Kellyn now?" Red asked as he looked at Yellow. Yellow blinked in confusion.

"What do you mean?" Yellow asked.

"Are you trying to ask if you two are boyfriend and girlfriend now?" Gold asked.

"Because you could have used Karrie and Keith as examples as well." Garnet added.

"Huh, I thought Kellyn and Kate were engaged," Red said. Lyra face palmed herself so hard that it could be heard down the hall. Yellow, Kate, and Kellyn turned bright red. Kenny and Garnet both face palmed while Rhythmi sweat dropped. Isaac slowly blinked as he tried to figure out if Red was joking. Crystal was shaking her head in disbelief. Both Gold and Keith had their jaws dropped. Karrie's head was slightly tilted as she tried to figure out what was going on.

"We're not engaged! We're not even out of school yet!" Kate and Kellyn both exclaimed.

"Normally you date first for a while, then you propose, then you are engaged, then you have a wedding, and then you are married," Rhythmi explained to Red.

"But isn't dating just so you can get to know the person better?" Red asked. "I already know Yellow."

"Oh my Arceus, dating also involves doing romantic things together, kissing, hanging out, developing a bond closer and different, more special than friendship, seeing each other in a different light," Rhythmi said and Keith sighed.

"Isaac, stop her before she gets to long winded, she's talking about romance again," Keith said and Isaac looked confused. Kate was going to elaborate, but the golden eyed Hajime did it for her.

"Genius, kiss her," Gold explained so Keith and Kate didn't have to. Isaac blushed and kissed his girlfriend so that she wouldn't give a six hour lecture on romance. Kate and Keith let out a sigh of relief. They loved Rhythmi, as a friend, but when it came to romance, Rhythmi tended to get a little too excited.

Kellyn's head suddenly dropped and landed on Kate's shoulder. It had been a long day for an injured teenage boy. Kate was startled at first, but she smiled while blushing slightly as she listened to the subtle snores coming from her boyfriend. Keith smirked, but then realized that Karrie had been a little too quiet. He looked down to find Karrie passed out and curled up in a little ball, bundled in his clothes (he was able to change out of Kellyn's clothes earlier) and using the little crook in between his waist and leg as a pillow. Keith blushed as he thought Karrie looked very adorable. He brushed Karrie's bangs out of her face only to frown as he realized he was freezing and yet didn't want to move nor wake Karrie, Karrie had enough trouble sleeping anyways.

"I guess that's our cue to go to bed," Garnet commented. "I guess we'll just invade Kellyn's room and crash." Surprised that crashing his cousin's room did not wake Kellyn up, Garnet shook his head and dragged Kenny, Gold, Isaac, and Red out of the room. Lyra got Yellow, Crystal, and Rhythmi to join her to go sleep in Kiwi's room. Gold returned with pajamas and blankets only to leave again. Kate carefully moved Kellyn so that he was laying on the bed. Keith picked Karrie up and placed her on the same bed so that he could change. After changing, Keith removed the makeup from his face using towels, soap, water, and makeup remover towelettes he found hidden in the bathroom. Kate gathered some of Karrie's clothes she had tucked away that happened to be more Kate's size. She quickly changed after Keith got out of the bathroom, grateful that Kellyn and Karrie were both sleeping like logs.

Kate laid out blankets so that she could sleep near the bed, close to Kellyn, but far enough away that she wouldn't be in danger of being stepped on or in danger of being crush if one or both of them fell of the bed somehow. Keith, knowing full well that he was in a Hajime residence with his girlfriend's parents sleeping/staying inside it, set up some blankets ways away from Kate (so Kellyn wouldn't kill him if any of them moved in their sleep and he and Kate ended up touching each other, even slightly) and close towards the middle/by the door. One by one they all drifted off into deep slumber.

~end of chapter~

Me: O.O sometimes I surprise even myself. I thought I would have such a hard time writing a long chapter

Keith: it took you a week T.T

Me: well, I thought I would being taking a week to give a short chapter, but then I got this burst of inspiration. Now I know how to start the next chapter, after that...well...yeah, I'll get back to you on that.

Karrie: why did I have to wear Kate's clothes?

Gold: could have been worse, you could have had to wear a pooffy pink dress or nothing at all

Karrie: T.T thank you for reminding to stay positive

Keith: T/T Like I needed an image of that

Gold: You are both very welcome

Me: anyways, before perverted Gold steals the show, ideas are welcome. Ideas that are more like fillers or fluff or "we like [insert people names here] and we want to see/read what they've been up to" or something like are the most welcome ideas that I will be extremely grateful for. I don't want to jump straight to prom, but my brain's having trouble coming up with in between stuff (I blame all the homework and classes I have...stealing all my good brain energy).

Kellyn: is that even a thing?

Kate: try not to question it too much

Me: maybe I should also have Kellyn and Kate talk about Kellyn's box for a bit, hmm...

Garnet: well, while she's thinking, just wanted to let you know that we all hope you enjoyed a very long chapter (over 6000 words in the actual chapter itself)

Keith: try acting all that stuff out

Rhythmi: puh-lease, you enjoyed yourself, especially when you got to strip in front of everyone

Keith: did not!

Isaac: what part of it's useless to argue with Rhythmi under most circumstances do you not understand?

Keith: T.T I don't like you

Karrie: don't blame you

Kate: =D specialshipping happened! And we got a mangaquest moment, sort of!

Gold: what's mangaquest?

Rhythmi: hehehe, you'll see

Yellow: *turns bright red* please don't tease Red

Me: such a sweetheart *pats Yellow on the head*

Kellyn: Yo Kenny and Lyra! Your turn to do the reminder!

Lyra: Aw! Well, here it goes

Kenny: *rolls eyes* yay

Lyra & Kenny: Please review! We love reading them! Hope you enjoyed getting an update!
