"What was that?" asked Yumi as she zoned in. She'd been daydreaming about Ulrich and what vey'd be able to do once Xana had been defeated.

"Would you rather be a screwdriver or a monkey wrench?"

"Can't you think of anything dumber to say?" asked Yumi incredulously.

"Are you still in love with Ulrich?" asked Hiroki with a broad grin

"Of course I am! And I'll never be a tool but you'll always be a fool!"

"What is this?" asked Harry as he grabbed a newspaper. "Where did you get these photos Milly?!"

The photos in question showed harry dressed up in an angel costume, an elf costume and several other embarrassing situations. Yumi took the power from him and looked at the pictures.

"Sorry, we never reveal our sources. It's a fundamental rule," explained Milly.

"All that we can tell you is that someone submitted it on your behalf and that he felt you needed taking down a peg or two," explained Tamiya. "And he has black hair and is smart like you."

"Herb?" asked Harry with a raised eyebrow. "Mind you, people have been asking me about my past. This should lay them off a bit. I'm still angry."

Rec room

"It's the Champion's cup final, the tension is hot!" said Odd as a phone rang. Herb picked it up.

"What?! Why did you have to do that?! Harry does the most devious pranks ever! Everyone knows he did it but no one can prove it!"

"Can we play now?" asked Ulrich as they watched Harry talk to Sirius before joining them.

"What happened?" asked Ulrich.

"Herb gave several pictures of me to Milly and Tamiya. The one with me in the angel costume and the elf one particular."

"And you're out to get revenge?" asked Odd.

"Yep."

"Are you ok Harry?" asked Yumi as she joined them. "You look upset, is anything wrong?"

"I'm staring at it right now but I really don't want to talk about it!" The three followed his gaze as Harry handed Yumi the newspaper. "What's happening?"

"We found a new replika," explained Aelita. "On the network."

"Where else?" asked Harry in annoyance.

"We're going to destroy it tonight," added Jeremy. "See you at the factory later."

"Ok. It's time for class," said Harry as the bell went.

"I think Harry's in a bad mood," said Sissi as they walked to class. "And you know what he gets like."

"Yeah. Last time I annoyed Harry really badly, I found our dorm filled with pork chops," said Odd. "Fake pork chops created using magic. They wouldn't go away."

Later

"Ok, we're docked," said Harry as the two virtual ships connected to a tower.

"Ok. I'll activate the towers. Who's going to get teleported tonight?"

"Me and Odd," said Yumi immediately. "And Harry."

"Don't we get a choice?" asked Harry.

"Nope."

"Let's go," said Odd eagerly.

"Give me a moment."

The three teleported.

Somewhere in a freezing wasteland

"Where are you?" asked Jeremy as they landed.

"In the middle of a snowstorm," said Yumi as she shielded her eyes.

"That's one of a thousand areas. Can you be a bit more specific?"

"There's a building up ahead," said Harry.

"We'll go check it out," added Yumi.

"Ok." The three ran across the snow towards the base. "Be careful guys."

"I wonder what kind of prank Harry's going to pull on Herb?" murmured Aelita.

"Probably something cruel and unusual," said Ulrich with a shrug. "As well as do the same thing Herb did to him."

"What do you mean by cruel and unusual?" asked Sissi.

"Remember Odd's pork chops example? Harry charmed them so only Odd could see them and they weren't real."

Earth

"I think I've found something," said Yumi as she found a sign. "It says Union base. Position 60 degrees, 16 minutes north, 43 degrees, and 15 minutes east."

"That's in Siberia," said Harry as he cocked his head to the side. "Explains the snow and the snowstorm."

"Harry's right. You're at a scientific base that Xana's taken control of. I'll try to get a floor plan as you go on inside."

They quickly hurried in.

"I've never been this mad at anybody in my life!" yelled Harry out of the blue. "And I can't think of any retribution!"

"Even the day when I put Kiwi's, uh, waste into your bed?" asked Odd. Harry glared at him. "I guess you are. You've got to admit it was funny though. The photo thing."

"Ha ha. Not. This way." Harry walked down the corridor and down towards the basement.

"Rats. Am activated tower. Xana's counter attacking."

"Ok, what's he doing this time?" asked Harry.

"Search me. Surprise."

Lightening hit the floor as William appeared. He spun as he drew an eye of Xana on the floor.

"It's William! Xana teleported William!" called Yumi as William stared at them before dividing on Harry.

"That is an awful surprise."

"And he isn't going to make this easy," said Harry as He shook his head. "I like things being easy."

"You might want to deactivate the tower," said Odd. "It would get him off our backs but onto Ulrich's."

"On it. You try to get to the other side of the room. Aelita, Xana activated a tower east of your position."

"On our way."

They disembarked the skid.

"Here come your vehicles."

"Thank you Jeremy." The three hopped and flew away.

Siberia

Yumi sent her fans at William who used his sword to block them. Harry sent a shuriken at him but he dodged so it only nicked him. William then used his sword to block Odd's laser arrows but one hit him in the arm. William dropped his sword as Odd kissed his paws.

"I love you guys!"

"Come on Odd!"

"Coming."

William recovered and turned around as they passed him. The door locked.

"Harry, can you get the door open?" asked Yumi as William smiled creepily and summoned his sword back.

"I can try. You need to cover me." Harry pressed his hand to the door.

Of fired at William and success his strike as Yumi flipped behind him. Cage used her fans to block William's attack as Odd's used last arrows on him. William flickered.

"Change on! Let's go!" The four opened and they walked through it backwards to key an eye on the unconscious William. "I feel sorry for him."

"Well, he was trying to stop us," said Yumi with a shrug. Odd blew the lock.

"Nice going off. That should slow him down. This way."

"How's it going?" asked Jeremy.

"We can see the activated tower," said Aelita.

"Good. Sissi this end, everything's cool. Go for it."

They did up as a megatank rolled up and began to fire. Aelita threw an energy fired as she dodged and the megatank blew. Ulrich landed on the Overwing after the Overbike was destroyed.

"That's what I call coordination."

"Two tarantulas at 11 o'clock."

Says monsters fired on them.

"Strategic retreat." They hid behind some ice formations.

Siberia

William forced the door open and he was not best impressed as he glowered down the corridor before following the three.

"Odd, Yumi, Harry. William is on your tail. Hide somewhere," suggested Jeremy. "Until Aelita deactivates the tower."

"Ok, we'll hide in here." They walked inside the room as Odd talked. "This looks like Dr Shrank's laboratory."

"What's this stuff, I wonder." Yumi walked over to the glass tubes.

"Beats me," said Odd. "Looks like soup. And it's beginning to look like brain soup."

There were brains suspended inside the green liquid.

"It looks like Xana is doing experiments," said Harry as he kept an eye out. "It found be for the best way to control our brains."

"Listen Ulrich," said Jeremy into the microphone. "Odd, Yumi and Harry have William to deal with. I hope Aelita's already in the tower."

"We'll have to force our way through," says Ulrich as he peered at the monsters. "They're but going to make it easy."

"That's a bad plan Ulrich," says Sissi. "There has to be another way."

"Have you got a better idea?" asked Aelita.

"No."

"Do you think it might work?"

"No. Super Sprint!" He ran towards the monsters, Digging the shots. Throwing his sword, Ulrich snorted as the monster blew up. Aelita hit the second one.

"Well done Aelita."

"Get to the tower Aelita," said Sissi. Asia ran into it and rose to the second level.

Siberia

"Uh oh." That's all the warning they had as William opened the door.

"He never gives up! William's here Jeremy! He found us."

"Don't sweat it. Aelita is already in the tower."

"Tell her to hurry up," called Harry. "I really don't want to become Xana's slave."

Replika

"Jeremy?" asked Aelita as she paused at the interface.

"A problem?" asked Jeremy.

"This tower commands William's teleportation so the interface must contain the protocols and programs that Xana used to control him," explained Aelita.

"Yeah, so?" asked Jeremy in confusion.

"If we hack into the data, we could find a way to free William."

"That's right! Aelita, you are a genius!" yelled Jeremy in excitement

"I'll send you the programs." Aelita immediately got to work.

Siberia

William swung his sword in a circle. Yumi and Odd dodged.

"Hey William! Come and get me!" William fired to look curiously at Harry before shaking his head.

"I don't have time to fool around with you Harry. I have to stop you destroying the supercomputer here. Next time we meet on Lyoko we will fight."

Harry shrugged. "Fair enough, I guess. That much was obvious."

"Yoo-hoo! William!" Odd fired at him before his weapon jammed. He jumped over Williams's sword as Yumi and Harry sent the fans at him. Odd tied to fire again but it failed. "It's jammed!"

William recovered and kicked Odd into the wall.

"Jeremy, it's no picnic around here," called Yumi in slight panic and desperation. "Is Aelita going to deactivate the tower or not?"

"Yeah, right, yeah. Hang on a minute."

"Do we have a minute?" asked Harry. William sent Yumi into the wall and raised his sword in order to return her to the replika. Harry sent one of his swords at him. William dodged it and faced Harry with a growl.

"Ok Aelita. I have what I need. I'll get Harry to help me cobble something together. He's good at things like this. Now enter the code Lyoko."

Ulrich and Sissi watched as the red aura faded away.

William disappeared.

"Nap time," said Odd from his position by the wall.

"Phew. You three, go back into the hallway. The supercomputer isn't too far away. Nap time is over."

"Tell Ulrich and the others that William is going to go after one of the subs," says Harry.

Replika

Aelita exited the tower. "That takes care of that."

"Now we can go home and get some sleep," said Ulrich. Sissi yawned.

"Not yet," said Jeremy.

"What do you mean, not yet?" demanded Ulrich.

"William is back and he's heading straight for the Skid," explained Jeremy. "He can still wreck our mission if he enters the code Xana into the towers I've activated. Harry thought this would happen."

William paused and chuckled darkly as he looked at the Skid.

"You can always count on William to mess things up," said Ulrich in annoyance.

"Any vehicles left in your garage?" asked Aelita.

"Odd hates lending out his equipment but here's the Overboard."

"I'll take care of it. I promise," said Ulrich as it loaded up. "Now that I know how to use it."

They flew away towards the Skid.

Siberia

Odd, Yumi and Harry skidded around the corner.

"It's locked," moaned Odd before starting at Harry. "Harry, do your mojo!"

Harry placed his hand on the panel and closed his eyes. The door unlocked easily and they entered the room.

"Why did Herb do it?" asked Harry.

"You still hung up on that?" asked Odd.

"Of course I am."

"Well, Herb has always been jealous of you," said Yumi with a shrug. "I think he did it so you'd get distracted in class."

William ran up to the tower before stopping.

"Hey! William!" He turned to look at the three as Ulrich sent the Overboard at William who jumped out of the way. "Oh no. Odd's precious Overboard."

William charged with sword in hand. Ulrich dodged the blows using his swords as needed. One of William's blows trapped his sword in the ice and he struggled to get it out. Amelia hit him with a energy field and forced him to his knees. Sissi fired at him.

Siberia

"Jeremy, what do we do the supercomputer?" asked Odd. "Do we fire at it or what?"

"I could always use these explosives," said Harry as he held up a pack.

"I think finessing it would be better Harry. Explosives are a bit too obvious. Describe it to me."

"There are lots of wires and electric things," said Yumi.

"Right, could you be a bit more descriptive?" asked Jeremy.

Replika

Aelita hit William with an energy field. "We took care of William. What now?"

"Perfect! It's smooth sailing from now on! Harry, Yumi, Odd, I think the Supercomputer is based on a Russian M13 machine!"

Siberia

"Da, if you say so, comrade!" called Odd. "How are we destroying it? Force or finesse?"

"Give me a couple of minutes and I'll tell you how to destroy the thing. Huh?" The supercomputer started to pick up lots of replikas. "What do you know? Harry was right."

"What's going on?" asked Aelita.

"Xana's consolidating the energy from all of the replikas. And I'm not talking about two or three."

"Why is he doing it?" asked Aelita.

"I don't know."

"Well, we know it's not going to be good," said Sissi. The replika started to shake as like some massive footsteps were stamping on it.

"What is that?" asked Ulrich.

"What's that noise?" They looked around in worry.

"It's coming from behind us." They turned and started to back away from the giant magma and rock monster. "Jeremy? What do we do?"

"Since when did Xana create new monsters?" asked Sissi.

"There's something on my screen. What is it? Ulrich? Aelita? Sissi?"

"We have a new monster to deal with and he's gigantic. Any ideas on how to deal with him?" asked Ulrich.

"Sorry but I don't have any. Not for now. Run!"

The three tried to attack to delay it but nothing happened. The monster swung its arm and the three devirtualised.

"Xana created a new monster. It could destroy the Skid in a fraction of a second," warned Aelita.

The monster was heading to do just that.

"Yumi, Odd and Harry."

"Got any info?" asked Odd in boredom. "Harry had been thinking to see what he's got."

"I'm going to have to bring you in."

"Huh?" asked Yumi.

"Why?" asked Harry in confusion. "We're here."

"We have no choice. You we don't you'll could stay virtualised forever. So let's not waste time."

They reappeared in their vehicles. Odd jumped in shock and slight terror as he saw the new monster.

"Wow. What's this chunky hunk doing here? He's probably as mean as he is ugly!"

"Jeremy, get us out of here now," called Yumi in desperation. "I don't really want to face this thing now!"

"Yep. On it. Docking release." Jeremy navigated the Skid away as the monster tried to hit the sub. Harry joined them.

"Oh man. That is one ugly monster. Why does Xana need that thing?" asked Harry as he stared in shock at the monster. "And it looks like one of my designs that I discarded because of the power drain needed."

"I don't know. Nice going Einstein," said Odd as they left the incredibly slow and heavy monster behind them. "And you did just have to create a monster of mass destruction, didn't you Harry?"

"Well, if Xana followed my design, I think I know where its weak points are."

"Really?"

"I don't know. I can guess though."

"He's a mountain, not a monster," corrected Aelita.

"I can't wait to see what Odd calls it," added Ulrich.

Later

"Hm…the Kolossus, with a K like in KO," said Odd thoughtfully.

"I don't know who's going to get KO'd, but the name sure suits him," said Ulrich. "He devirtualised us in one swing."

"We'll never make it now," said Yumi in resignation. "As soon as we step foot onto a replika, we'll run into the Kolossus. He'll devirtualise us before we can say Lyoko."

"One thing is sure, we've got to change our strategy," said Jeremy. "Because now Xanax controls hundreds of supercomputers around the world. We'll never destroy all of them. Not even Harry could do it."

"We're doomed," said Sissi.

"Got anything in mind?" asked Aelita.

"Nothing yet but I'm working on it."

"How about a program to wipe all the replikas simultaneously?" suggested Harry.

"Stick with it! But I'm ready to stick to my pillow right now, if not, I'll sleep through my math test tomorrow," said Odd with a yawn.

The next morning

"The Kadic News: how to be first in line for your medical check-up, another easy, quick recipe – liverwurst pancakes, and an exclusive picture of Herb and Nicholas, that you're definitely not going to want to miss!" yelled Milly. Herb ran from Harry who laughed.

"What did you do?" asked Yumi curiously.

"I made it so all his possessions would move around so Herb can't find them when needed. It's really annoying and lasts for a week," explained Harry. "I found it in a book."
