I don't own Harry Potter or Code Lyoko
Down to earth
"Hang on. You, Harry and Einstein spent an entire weekend together and all you did was work?" asked Odd in surprise.
"We had to work on the super scan," explained Aelita.
"You're worse than Herb and Nicholas. They're really not getting the message to leave us alone," said Odd with a shrug. "Where is Jeremy anyway?"
"I don't know," admitted Aelita. "Ever since we found out there are hundreds of replikas across the world, he's been shut in his room or at the lab. He's even dragged Harry to help him. Huh?" Her phone tang. "That's him now. I was beginning to worry. Where are you?"
"Right behind you." The called ended as Aelita turned to face him.
"Einstein a comedian?" asked Ulrich. "Hm, you were right to be worried about him. I don't think he's all there! Where's Harry?"
"I'm here," said Harry as he popped into existence.
"I've been looking for you," said Sissi as she laid her head in his shoulder.
"Sorry to keep you waiting."
"Got some good news?" asked Yuim.
"Yes. I've finally figured a way to wipe out Xana!"
Everyone stared at him.
Hsrry's and Jeremy's room
"Huh? Are you sure? A multi agent program?" asked Yumi curiously.
"Yep. That's it. We decided to go over Franz Hopper's notes again," explained Jeremy. "As well as the data he sent from the network as he was escaping from Lyoko. And, of course, the data you gathered when travelling on the Skid. That's how I came up with the idea of destroying Xana with a series of multi agents. Harry helped with what he said about getting rid of all the replikas at the same time."
"It's sounds dangerous," said Aelita warily. "Xana is a multi-agent system remember? And don't forget what happened with the Marabunta."
"Yeah. That was a pretty creepy invention of your Frankenstein," said Odd as he pointed oat Jeremy.
"The what?" asked Sissi in confusion.
"Will you stop worrying?" sked Jeremy. "I'm not going to launch it until I'm sure it will work. At the moment all I can destroy is two ro three megatanks. On the other hand…"
"Go on, we're listening," said Ulrich.
"We may have found a way to free William," said Harry in one breath.
"What?"
"I said, we may have found a way to free William!"
"Xana made a really big mistake when he teleported William during our last mission in the ice sector replika," explained Jeremy.
"And the data I found in the tower," said Aelita. "Was it of any use?"
"Of any use? Harry made the program just using that data Aelita. He had the bare skeletons of the program waiting but needed more data to make sure it would work."
"You mean for good?" asked Yumi.
"Yep. And it's really simple. All we have to do is to launch the program from the ice replika supercomputer and devirtualise William at the same time," explained Jeremy. "It has to be Harry or Aelita who launches the program though."
"Oh wow. That a piece of cake," said Yumi sarcastically.
"And you think William is going to just twiddle his thumbs as they run the program?" asked Ulrich.
"I said it was simple but I didn't say it was easy," said Jeremy.
"And what if William is teleported again?" asked Sissi.
"And what if Xana sends his King Kong like he did last time?" asked Odd.
"Oh, the Kolossus? Just think of him as another one of Xana's monsters you have to fight," said Jeremy.
"I don't think you realise just how dangerous that monster is Jeremy," said Harry with a frown.
"Maybe we should introduce you to him then you'll understand," added Ulrich.
"Uh, fighting is your job. Mine is programming."
"If there's a chance of bringing the real William back then let's go," said Aelita eagerly.
"Yeah, no reason to wait. Everyone to the factory," ordered Jeremy.
"What? Like, now?" asked Odd in surprise. "But they've got tuna casserole, sauerkraut and sausages for lunch today!"
"You can have lunch tonight, let's go!"
"Anyone ever tell you that you eat dinner at night?!" asked Odd.
Outside
"WILLIAM!" yelled Jim. The clone walked over to him. "Didn't you hear me call you, Dunbar?"
"No. I'm sorry, but I don't have a phone," apologised the clone.
"Trying to be clever, huh? I'm not that dumb. If you think you can pull the wool over my ears, you're wrong! Your parents are here to see you."
"My parents? Who are they?" asked the clone dumbly.
"Stop acting so stupid Dunbar. They're waiting for you in the principal's office. Get going!"
Principal's office
"I'm certain that William will be delighted to see you," said Delmas. "He's changed quite a bit. Ever since that trip you took him on."
"What trip? We didn't go on any trip," said William's dad as the two looked at each other. There was a knock on the door.
"There he is now. Come in!" Nobody came in. "Come in I said!"
Delmas walked over to the door and opened it. "What's the matter William? Didn't you hear me telling you to come in?"
"I did but the door wasn't open."
"Oh, well. Your parents are here."
"Is everything alright darling?" asked William's mum as the clone walked in. "You seem to be a little out of sorts."
"That's right, but I never had any sorts to begin with."
"You were right. He certainly has changed," said William's dad to Delmas.
Digital sea
"Holoweb system online. Aelita, I'm sending you the coordinates."
They moved off in the right diriection.
Lunch hall
"So William my boy, how's it going?" asked Rosa as the clone moved along.
"It goes in any direction I want it to," said the cone as it moved the tray around.
Rosa laughed. "You'll kill me William. Have some of this. This'll stick to your ribs!"
"I can't eat it if it's on my ribs!"
"Ah. Mr and Mrs Dunbar. I'm really glad to meet you. You know, that son of yours, he's really quite a piece of work," said Jim.
"I'm not just any piece of work. To be specific, I'm a digitally-generated random polymorphic energy field controlled by a basic, non-evolving behavioural program," explained the clone.
"A chip off the old block huh? Anyway, I'll leave you in peace. I'm sure you have lots to talk about together."
"Your father and I were wondering, William…why you don't call us much at the moment," said William's mum.
"You're right here in front of me. If I called you, you wouldn't be home."
Network
"We have a visual on the Replika," said Aelita as they moved over to it. Jeremy hacked the lock and they sailed in. the two subs connected to two towers and Jeremy prepared to teleport Odd, Aelita and Harry.
Siberia
The trio ran into the base and towards the supercomputer.
"Make it fast. Xana's sure to rear his ugly head pretty soon."
Kadic
"Are you trying to tell me he isn't your son? But you are the parents of William Dunbar…?" asked Delmas.
"Of the real William Dunbar! Our son is a dynamic and rebellious youngster, who was expelled from the last school he attended for gluing stickers all over the school, including on the principal's windshield," explained William's dad.
"I don't recall you ever telling me that when you enrolled him here at Kadic."
"That's not the point! I'm telling you that this child is not my son!"
"It is true that your son has been behaving strangely these last few weeks," said Delmas thoughtfully. "But I'm sure that this is the one and only William Dunbar we know!"
"You said earlier that William had taken some kind of trip. What kind of trip exactly?"
"Of course. The trip he took overseas with you. Just before he came down with that terrible flu."
"What flu?" asked William's mum.
Replika
"It's crazy. I can't believe that we're going to bring home the real William," said Yumi.
"Yeah but let's hope that his clone is keeping out of trouble," said Ulrich.
"Ulrich, I hope you won't be jealous if William starts to hang around me again," said Yumi.
"I'll try not to be but it's hard."
"Yumi, Ulrich I hate to interrupt your conversation but speaking of William, the radar shoes him coming in straight ahead," interrupted Jeremy.
"Yep. Speak of the devil," said Ulrich.
"I think he's looking for someone," said Sissi as she stood up.
"Try to slow him down," said Jeremy as they watched him ride his manta. "Here are you vehicles."
The Overwing and Overbike appeared and they climbed on. Sissi soared into the air.
"What bothers me is that Xana is drawing energy from all the replikas and that means trouble," said Jeremy thoughtfully. "Aelita, Odd and Harry. How's it going?"
"We're coming into the main room. Wow!" The trio stared at the floor. "It's a lot more crowded than it was last time we were here."
"Why? What do you see over there?" asked Jeremy curiously.
"Jeremy, there are dozens of robots in here," explained Aelita. "All lined up like an army waiting for orders."
"So that could be Xana's secret plan, to use an army of robots to enslave all of mankind! Get to the supercomputer room as fast as you can."
"Xana could use me to lead it or at least under his control." Harry shuddered. "Or to kill all of us and Xana will keep me alive to use as help."
"On our way," said Aelita.
Replika
"Leave petty boy to me," called Ulrich.
"Don't forget, we're supposed to slow him down," reminded Yumi.
"No problem."
The mantas began to fire on them. Sissi aimed at one and fired, destroying it.
Siberia
"Hi guys," said Odd as they walked past them. Harry stared at one curiously. "They're not much for conversation, that's for sure. Open up Grandma, it's little red riding hood!" Odd looked at Aelita. "Uh, pink, that is!"
Sighing, Harry prseed his hand to the controls.
"It's scary looking at all those robots standing at attention," said Aelita as she looked at the robots.
"It sure is! … Hey! One of them just moved," joked Odd.
"Where?! Which one?" asked Aelita.
"Will you relax? I was just kidding!" Odd giggled.
"Oh! Dumbbell!"
"Don't make jokes like that," said Harry as the door opened.
"Huh? Hey, one of them just moved!"
"It's not funny this time either."
"It's not a joke!"
The robots started to move.
"Ok, lets' get out of here," said Harry nervously as he fired at the robots.
Replika
"I feel a storm brewing," said Ulrich as he jumped off the Overbike and sliced William's manta. "Last stop, everybody off."
William glared at him.
Siberia
Harry shut the door and locked it again. The robots made short work of it.
"That's some power." Harry fired as fast as he can.
"Try to go to the supercomputer. I'll see what the others are up too."
Garry grabbed the explosives he left, ignited them and chucked them down the corridor. It exploded and took out quite a few robots. More kept coming.
Replika
Ulrich blocked William's strikes and swiped his feet out from under him. The black haired boy jumped into the nearby body of water with super smoke.
"Did you see that Jeremy?" aksed Ulrich.
"Yeah and I don't like it one bit."
"So much for bringing him back home."
"That's it! The Kolossus! That's why Xana was draying energy from the replikas!" Said monster rose from the water as Jeremy spoke, William standing on its shoulder.
Siberia
They ran towards the supercomputer as Harry sent everything he had at the robots. Harry quickly opened the door and they ran in.
Replika
Ulrich jumped up onto the Kolossus using super sprint and started to climb up. Yumi sent her fan at the Kolossus' face but it did nothing. William chuckled as he watched Yumi, Sissi and Ulrich regroup.
"You're not going to bring him down that way!" yelled Ulrich.
"Then how?" asked Yumi. "I was right on target. He should have been destroyed."
"Harry said that the Kolossus was one of his designs that Xana must have copied from his mind and created," said Sissi thoughtfully. "Harry could know how to defeat it."
"I'll ask," said Jeremy. There was a pause. "Harry says that there are two targets to hit. He doesn't know where they are as Xana could have moved them around but they have to be hit at the same time. Concentrate on William. I'm going to try to help with the Kolossus."
"How are you going to do that?" asked Ulrich curiously. "The second target is on the monster's arm."
"I'm going to launch the multi agent program."
"Will it destroy him?" asked Ulrich as he climbed up.
"No as the program isn't finished. The program may immobilise him though."
The monster got stuck in the ice that formed around it.
"No!" yelled William.
"Looks like it's working Jeremy," said Ulrich as he looked down. "He doesn't seem to be getting anywhere."
"Odd, Aelita, Harry. I'm back to you now."
Siberia
"I'll hold them off. You two get William home," said Odd. Harry and Aelita nodded and ran to the supercomputer.
"Now listen up. I'm going to dictate the program. Enter what I say word for word and we'll be just fine," said Jeremy as they walked over to the terminal. Odd continued to fire as more appreared and he was devirtualised.
Replika
"It's just you and me William!" called Ulrich as he reached the shoulder. The two boys clashed and Ulrich kicked William back.
"Go easy Ulrich," called Yumi. "Jeremy said we had to wait before we devirtualise William."
Odd appeared in the Skid, unconscious.
"Sorry."
Siberia
"It's entered Jeremy."
"Alight Aelita. Get ready to launch the program."
Replika
"When I give the signal, devirtualise William. What's going on?" the Kolossus broke free of the ice imprisoning it.
"Jeremy, the Kolossus broke free," called Yumi.
"I know. The multi agent system doesn't have enough power." The Kolossus devirtualised Sissi and Yumi in one go.
Siberia
"Huh?" Harry immediately began to fire as the robots walked into the room.
"Jeremy, the robots are here," said Aelita as she joined in with her energy fields but got deteleported.
"Harry! Right now!" Harry pressed the button. "I'm bringing you back."
Harry disappeared.
Replika
William and Ulrich continued to fight as the Kolossus approached the tower with the Skid. They fell off and William was forced onto his back. He sued super smoke to avoid the Kolossus as Ulrich got crushed.
"I don't believe this! Ulrich!"
William reformed and smirked as he made a fist. "Victory."
He was hit in the back and stared at this fist as he devirtualised.
"Better luck next time handsome," said Odd.
"Oh yeah!" yelled Jeremy as William's ID card was scanned.
Scanners
William collapsed as he appeared in the scanner. "What happened? The last thing I remember was that boar…"
Yumi, Sissi and Ulrich hugged him.
Replika
"Oh no. Jeremy, the Kolossus is near the Skid. I can't do anything from here," said Odd as he watched from a distance.
"Yeah, I saw him. Aelita get out of there fast!"
Aelita woke up as the Kolossus attacked the Skid which fell towards the digital sea.
"Aelita! No!"
The Skid exploded.
"Aelita!" yelled Jeremy in worry.
"It's ok Jeremy. Aelita's here with us," said Yumi as she appeared in the scanners.
"Oh thank god."
"It was lucky for me that I was devirtualised just before the Skid went, said Aelita.
"And we saved William too," said Jeremy.
"Can someone tell me what's going on?" asked William.
Kadic
"There is something fishy going on with William," said Herb as he scratched his chin. "I bet you that Jeremy Belpois has something to do with it as well. He only started acting weird after he joined that gang."
Are you sure about this?" asked Delmas.
"Of course I am. He returned to normal for a bit but then went back to being weird again."
"And I'd like to know more about this flu he had and this imaginary trip you said her went on," said William's dad. "And it looks like the only way is to talk to this Belpois."
They walked to Harry's and Jeremy's room.
"Visit." Jim knocked on the door. "No one's there."
"Listen, this nonsense has gone on long enough," said William's dad. "I'm going to go to the authorities and get some tests run on him to see if he's my son or not."
"Ready Aelita? Now's the time," whispered Yumi into her phone as the five watched from Odd's and Ulrich's dorm.
"Ok. Right now."
Jeremy deactivated the tower keeping the clone active and the clone faded away.
"Please try to calm down," begged Delmas. Jim yelled in surprise.
"There! I mean, there!" He pointed at the empty pace.
"You can calm down too Jim. What's the matter with you?"
"William was there then not there! He evaporated!"
"But he's still here," pointed out Delmas. Jim looked at William.
"I swear he was here then not here and now here again!"
"You could use a day or two off."
Odd laughed.
"I think you're right dad. This nonsense has gone on long enough," said William.
"Huh? William?"
"It's true that I haven't been quite myself lately but I'm fine now. Really. Sorry I worried you."
His mum hugged him.
Later
"Do you think he can live a normal life after this?" asked Aelita.
"He has to. He can't remember exactly what happened but he did know that he was under Xana's control," said Jeremy as William walked over to them.
"I'm going to miss his clone if you ask me," said Odd. "He was a lot more fun."
"Don't say that," said Jeremy. "Xana just lost one of his most dangerous weapons, William."
"In the mean time we lost the Skid," said Yum. "It's going to take time for you to restore it to what it was from your back up."
"I guess we can forget about wiping out replikas now," said Ulrich.
"We're doomed," said Sissi.
"What about those robots in Siberia?" asked Aelita. "The army he created to take over the world."
"That's why our only hope is the multi agent system," said Jeremy. "I'll get back onto it tonight."
"Hey guys," said William as he joined them. "I'm sorry for what I did to you."
"Don't sweat it," said Harry. "The same thing happens to me."
