I don't own Harry Potter or Code Lyoko

Fight to the finish

"Daddy! No!"

Mantas shot at the pink ball as Aelita fired an energy field. It missed. The pink ball exploded and Aelita woke up screaming.

She walked into the showers sadly and with a heart full of worry.

Harry's and Jeremy's Dorm

"Come in," said Jeremy as there was a knock on the door. Aelita pushed the door open. "How come you're not asleep?"

"It's time to get up." Aelita shook Harry who groaned and put his glasses on.

"Wow. Time sure does fly."

"Good morning Aelita." Harry stretched and yawned. "I think I stayed up too late last night."

"Jeremy, you've hardly slept all week. You should get some rest," suggested Aelita in concern for his health.

"No time. I've almost finished my multi agent program," said Jeremy as he concentrated on the computer.

"Already?" asked Aelita in surprise.

"Harry helped. And soon we'll be able to attack replikas simultaneously and wipe out Xana."

"And you're ready to die of exhaustion for that?" asked Aelita in annoyance.

"You bet I am."

"Breakfast time." Aelita walked out as Harry dug out some clothes.

"Well Dunbar, glad to see you've got your head screwed back on," said Jim as he walked down the corridor and William opened his door. "You've got to pace yourself. Just because you're half as bright, doesn't mean you'll go twice as far! …something like that, heh!"

William frowned. His clone had made a mess of his reputation and he had to recreate it again. He sighed. Looked like a lot of hard work. But he'll manage.

Lunch hall

"Ugh. I wonder what they put into these croissants," said Ulrich in disgust as he took a bite.

"I'll take them off your hands." Odd took a bite from Ulrich's croissant.

"You eat those things?" asked Ulrich in disgust and surprise.

"Just watch me." Odd took another bite.

"Are you worried about Jeremy?" asked Yumi to Aelita.

"Yes. But I also got a premonition. This is going to have a bad ending. I know it will."

"Don't worry. We're going to get rid of Xana, Aelita," Yumi reassured her.

"Then we'll have a normal life," added Sissi. "Hopefully."

"That's for sure! There's no match for Odd the magnificent!" yelled Odd.

"Yeah, you're going to scare them with those crumbs on your teeth," added Ulrich with a grin. Odd glared at him.

"William, can you answer a few questions?" asked Milly as he walked over to the room. "There's a rumour going around saying that you have a twin brother."

"All I can confirm is that I'm going to breakfast."

"William, nice gag! You had us thinking you'd lost it," called a random boy.

"And then Sissi asked me if spaghetti grew on trees or in the ground!" continued Odd.

"I didn't Odd," protested Sissi. Harry sat down next to her. "Hey Harry."

"Can I sit here?" asked William.

"Sure." William smiled in relief and pulled a chair up.

"What's happening? And I would have expected you to push me away."

"Jeremy's nearly finished the multi agent program. We'll be able to destroy Xana soon," explained Aelita. "And me and Harry have been controlled by Xana. It would be hypocritical to push you away for that. It wasn't your fault."

"And I'll get payback for Xana ruining my life!" William pumped the air.

"Now, don't get overconfident. Xana will try to get you back," said Harry as he swatted William. "Just like he tried so many times with me."

"You sure?"

"He did it once, he could do it again. Depends how much he wants his servant back."

William shuddered. "Don't joke about that."

Harry's and Jeremy's Dorm

Jeremy continued to type away as a message popped up.

"Huh? Unbelievable!"

Lunch hall

"Jeremy? What?" asked Aelita into the phone.

"Yeah, it was a message from Franz Hopper. He wants to meet us at the factory in fifteen minutes," explained Jeremy as he ran down the stairs.

"How do you know it's not a fake message?" asked Aelita. "Sounds like a Xana tactic. He's done it before."

"I know but it came just as I finished the program. That's no coincidence."

"You're right."

"Better hurry."

"Be right there." Aelita put her phone down. "My father sent Jeremy a message. Sounds important. Let's head for the factory."

The group walked out of the room.

Jeremy

Jeremy ran past Herb.

"Well, well, well."

He followed Jeremy but lost him at the manhole.

"He can't just disappear. Where did he go?"

"What are you doing here?" asked Harry as the group ran over.

"The park is open to everyone. But what about you?" asked Herb.

"We have to be somewhere."

"I think everyone should be at school," interrupted Sirius as he appeared. "Can I talk to you seven for a minute?"

Herb growled in disappointment and annoyance and headed back to school.

"So, destroying Xana huh? Want some help?"

"You can come if you want to."

"Hey, you would look really great as a blonde, suits your personality," said Odd to Sissi.

"Uh, thanks Odd. I think."

Lab

"I was beginning to wonder if you'd ever get here," said Jeremy impatiently as the group quickly walked in. "It's like you don't want to get rid of Xana."

"Sorry, we got delayed by Herb," said William. "Sirius had to send him to school."

"What's this about my father?" asked Aelita quickly before the discussion could continue.

"Franz Hopper sent me some interesting data and coordinates," explained Jeremy. "He's doing something on the ice sector. Something really critical."

"Like what?" asked Harry.

"I wish I knew. But if he decided to reappear, I don't think it's to say hello."

"He's going to need an escort," said Ulrich.

"That's why all of you are going to Lyoko. Better get down to the scanners."

Aelita froze as she saw the scanners.

"It's going to be alright," said Sissi as she hugged her.

"I know."

"Yeah, you might even get to see your father today!" added Ulrich.

"And Ulrich can ask him for some tips on how to get better grades in computer class!" suggested Odd.

Lyoko

"The meeting point is on an iceberg dead ahead, according to the message."

"Here we go!" yelled Odd as the group ran across the ice.

"We're here Jeremy!"

"I'm picking up activity on the other side of the waterfall."

"Let's go," said Odd eagerly.

"Uh, I'd like to have a minute alone with my father," said Aelita quickly.

"I understand."

"And you won't be far away of something goes wrong." Aelita ran behind the waterfall as the others waited. "Daddy, are you there?"

"Huh? An activated tower? I wonder what Xana had up his sleeve this time..." muttered Jeremy. "He sure doesn't give up."

The door opened and a Xanafied Jim threw Jeremy across the room into the wall before leaving.

"Jeremy, I think my father is going to send you something. Jeremy?" Lyoko shook and the grotto started to collapse. "Hurry daddy! We can't stay here!"

They ran out of the grotto. Odd fired at a manta. Several focused on Sissi and devirtualised her.

"The Kolossus!" The giant swung at the iceberg and destroyed it.

"We've got to get out of here," called Harry. William sliced a manta as Sirius stabbed a Blok.

"You're not kidding," called back Sirius.

"Jeremy? Jeremy? What's wrong? Can you hear me?" asked Aelita, getting more frantic as Jeremy didn't answer.

"I don't get it," said Yumi in confusion. "Jeremy should have warned us that the Kolossus was on its way. Something must have happened."

"That's what I was thinking," said Harry. "Someone needs to go back."

"Yumi, get back to the factory using the monsters," ordered Aelita.

Ulrich climbed up the Kolossus as William followed using super smoke. Sirius climbed up too.

"William, go with Aelita!"

The smoke changed direction.

"For once, I have to bow down to you, Xana!" muttered Yumi as she allowed the Kolossus to step on her.

Aelita, Odd, Franz and Harry hid in a trench as Aelita destroyed the manta harassing them. William reformed next to them.

Scanners

Yumi was thrown into the elevator by Jim. She pressed the up button and the doors closed as Jim approached. Jim walked through them and grabbed Yumi. He threw her out the open door. Yumi grunted as she hit the wall.

Lab

Jeremy sat in his chair and looked at the data on the screen. "What's going on? Incredible! Can you read me guys?"

"Loud and clear. What's going on?" asked Odd curiously.

"Whatever you do, protect Franz Hopper. He's sending me some data right now."

"That's what we're doing," pointed out Harry. "Franz doesn't have any weapons so we have to do it for him."

"Jeremy, what happened to you?" asked Aelita.

"Xana launched an attack. He knocked me out and Xanafied Jim!" explained Jeremy. "My back hurts."

"Were we expecting any different?" asked Harry. "Xana knows we have the means to destroy him. He's trying to stop us. And stop being a wimp Jeremy. You've had worse. I think."

Yumi

Jim threw Yumi into the wall. She ran away and Jim followed her.

Lyoko

Ulrich continued to climb as the four protected Franz Hopper. William sliced a Blok.

"Be careful. Xana's drawing energy from all the replikas," warned Jeremy.

"Why?" asked Harry.

"How would I know?" replied Jeremy. "Xana doesn't want to die so I guess he's trying to stop us."

Ulrich stabbed the Kolossus in the face. It froze up.

"How's the data transfer going?" asked Aelita.

"Nearly there. Keep protecting Hopper from the Kolossus."

"Have you noticed the size of that guy?" asked Odd.

"He's huge," added Harry.

"I have to get that data. Yes. No, it can't be possible..."

"Where is he going?" asked Harry as Franz floated away. "The digital sea!"

They ran over and watched as he sunk into the sea.

"He gave me the data I needed to finish my anti Xana program," explained Jeremy. "Now it's time to end this."

"What?" asked Odd in surprise and confusion.

"You heard. Thanks to this program, I can destroy Xana." Harry whooped.

"No more possession attempts! You are a godsend Jeremy."

"Better hurry up and run it because the Kolossus seems to be getting his strength back," warned Ulrich as the Kolossus stated to move again. Sirius carefully climbed down to its arm, clinging tightly to it.

"You've got be in sector five. I can't do it alone."

"There's no way. The Kolossus will stay playing ping pong with the transporter," pointed out Odd. "We'll never get there."

"Ulrich and Sirius are on it."

"They're on it alright. Let's hope they don't get off it," commented Odd as he looked up at the monster and the two tiny figures.

"Shouldn't we deactivate the tower?" asked Aelita. "Yumi's in danger."

"I know. This is our only chance of getting rid of Xana for good. Yumi will be saved no matter what we do. At least, I hope so."

"Yeah, you hope so. You'd better be sure about this Jeremy," called Harry as he closed his eyes. "Or I'll kill you."

Yumi

Yumi tried to kick Jim but it went straight through him. In retaliation, Jim swiped her feet from under her, casting her to land roughly on her bottom. Sissi tried to kick Jim hard in the head but it didn't work. It did, however, provide a distraction.

"Nice timing Sissi. Now run!"

The two ran away from the Xanafied Jim.

Lyoko

"I'm entering the code Scorpio," said Jeremy. "Haven't had to do this for a while."

"Just get on with it," called Harry. "We have a time limit here. If we don't go now, we will never win as we won't have a chance like this again."

"There it is." Aelita pointed at it.

"And there he is," said Odd as they turned to see the Kolossus nearly there. Sirius stabbed it in the arm and it collapsed, the magma cooling and darkening. It also crushed Ulrich and Sirius as they fell off and couldn't get away in time due to the monster's size.

"So long volcano brain. Say hello to Xana for us," called Odd as they travelled away from the downed monster. "It was nice knowing you."

"You two can celebrate another time. Go help Sissi and Yumi," Jeremy said to Sirius and Ulrich as they exited the scanners.

Yumi

Jim jumped over the girls' heads in an impressive feat of agility as they ran down the stair case.

"He's fast for an overweight person," grumbled Sissi. "Way too fast."

"Separate." The two ran in opposite directions before being forced back together. Ulrich kicked him in the head.

"Stupify!" Jim staggered but remained standing as Sirius frowned. "What does it take to get him down permanently?"

Ulrich forced Jim against the wall but he just slipped into it, causing Ulrich to hit the wall.

Lyoko

"We're at the celestial dome. I'm downloading the anti Xana program." Aelita tapped out the commands.

"Looks like we're in for a flying fish show," said Odd as several mantas flew towards them.

"Run it! Run it right now!"

Aelita tried to run the program but the terminal went statically.

"What's going on?"

"Oh no. We haven't got enough power to run the program. And we're only a step away from beating Xana!" moaned Jeremy in disbelief.

Harry closed his eyes and started to think. "Please let there be something in here."

Odd and William fought off the mantas. Yelping in surprise and pain, Odd devirtualised.

"Ok, now there are three," muttered Harry. Franz appeared as a black smoke surrounded Harry.

"Harry! No you don't Xana!"

"Go away. I'm not going to give up this close." Harry's hands went to his head and he fell to the ground. "No. you're not using me to survive. No matter how much you plead. You're too dangerous."

The mantas fired on Franz in order to destroy him.

"Daddy! No!" Aelita fired but missed.

"Come on Harry. You need to get out of this. I know you can. You're stronger than Xana any day." William grabbed his shoulder before shaking him slightly. "You're not what Xana thinks you are. Keep on fighting ninja boy."

"What is he trying to do?" asked Jeremy curiously. "The power! Aelita, try running the program right now!"

"But, my father!"

"Your father is supplying the energy we need. Try running the program again! Now!"

Aelita fired on the mantas but missed. "No! It's my father Jeremy! I can't!"

"If you don't run it now, your father will have sacrificed himself for nothing. And I don't think Harry will be able to stop Xana from controlling him forever. Do it. Do it!"

Aelita glanced at the two boys before running the program. Franz exploded into fragments and a pink sphere hit Harry before fading away. Groaning, Harry stiffened slightly before relaxing.

"No!" Aelita launched the program with a broken heart.

"Come on," muttered Jeremy as the smoke faded from Harry. "Please let it work. It has to work."

White flecks slipped out of the core and attacked the mantas. One touched Harry before joining the group again. A bright white light covered Lyoko as the lights exited Lyoko into the digital sea.

"The program is destroying all the replikas! Xana is dying!" Jeremy said excitedly. "We're nearly there!"

William and Harry pulled Aelita into a hug.

"It's going to be alright Aelita. You'll see," whispered William. "You'll see your father again. I know you will. Besides, he lives on in your memories."

The activated tower in the ice sector turned to white.

"It can't be but it is. Aelita, we've done it. Xana's been destroyed." The last replika disappeared from the screen.

Aelita cried as the two boys comforted her.

"I'll bring you back now."

They disappeared. Jeremy placed the ear piece gently on the keyboard.

Yumi

Jim chucked darkly as he raised an electrically covered hand to a baby beaten up Ulrich. Smoke slipped out of his mouth. It seemed to be writhing in pain as it took on a human outline before disappearing. Jim collapsed.

"What just happened?" asked Ulrich.

"I don't know. It was like Xana just… died," said Sissi as they stared at each other. "They did it! Xana's gone!"

Scanners

Jeremy hugged Aelita as she came out crying.

"Shush Aelita. It's going to be fine," whispered Harry as he hugged her too. Odd watched as the other four entered the scanners. "You'll see. I know you will."

"So, what now?" asked William. "Xana's gone."

"I guess we shut down the supercomputer," said Jeremy sadly. "And put an end to this."

"But…" Harry trailed off before sighing. "I guess it's time for me to return to normal."

"If your abilities need the computer to be on then yes," said Yumi.

"I got used to them. It's going to be strange without them." Harry closed his eyes. "Besides, they could stay. You never know."

"And what about Jim?" asked Sissi. They shared a look. "He's still in the factory."

Infirmary

"You ok Jim?" asked Yolanda as he woke up.

"Where am I?"

"In the infirmary. These kids brought you in." Jim stared at the group who looked sheepish. "You were lying on the floor unconscious according to them."

"I don't know what happened. I was fixing some fuses then nothing."

"Well, you're fine now so I guess I'll let you go." Jim almost ran out the door.
