Bella POV
Four more days. Four days until the Volturi would arrive, and this would end. I sighed. After yesterday, only the Amazon coven had arrived. Not only did Zafrina, Senna, and Kachiri arrive, but they brought Huilen and Nahuel with them. Zafrina helped me practice a bit with my shield, but soon that was over. I wandered the house aimlessly. Suddenly, my cellphone rang. I picked it up.
"Hello?" said Edward.
"Edward," I whispered.
"Hello, love," he said. "How are you?"
"Fine," I said. "Where are you right now?"
"India," he said.
"India?" I said, surprised. I didn't know what they were doing there.
His tone got more excited. "Listen, Carlisle heard from some others that there were vampires here that might be willing to help us. So we came here, but we also met another hybrid!"
"Another hybrid?" I said.
"Yeah," he said. "Her name is Anika. She's full grown already, like Nahuel. She lives here with Sahil, who is her biological father. Her mother died giving birth to her. Sahil isn't like Joham, trying to make a new species, he really loved the human."
"So they're willing to help?" I said, excited to meet another hybrid. Renesmee would be thrilled, and so would Nahuel.
"Yes," he replied. "They should be there in a few hours."
"That's good," I said. "When are you coming back?"
"Day after tomorrow."
We finished up and I went to tell the others the news. "Edward and Carlisle found another hybrid," I said, explaining.
"What's her name?" asked Renesmee.
"Anika," I replied. "She and her father, Sahil, are going to help us."
Renesmee and Nahuel chatted excitedly about it, happy to find another one of their kind. They were the only two we had known of, besides Nahuel's sisters.
When the Indians did arrive, they walked warily in. The girl was beautiful, with long, black hair in a braid and big brown eyes. The man with her was older, with streaks of gray in his black hair. Unlike Anika, he had a slight Indian accent. They both had the same olive toned skin. They were dressed casually, in jeans and t-shirts. Anika and Sahil didn't know about Nessie and Nahuel being hybrids. Esme approached them, and they soon seemed much more comfortable with us, Esme's natural warmth making them feel safer. Anika and Sahil met Nessie and Nahuel, and Sahil was shocked to find that they were more hybrids. I explained Renesmee's and Nahuel's stories, and the fact that I survived and Anika's mother didn't made him sad. We all chatted around and started to prepare for a meeting we had with the wolves to plan. We had already explained to the Indians about them, so they weren't surprised when both Sam's and Jacob's packs walked in. Sam started to lead us to a place in the woods where we could work, and we all followed with the exception of Seth. I turned and saw him staring at Anika with a strange expression on his face. I smiled. It looked like another member of the pack had imprinted.
