"-and that's why you shouldn't let the association make irresponsible remarks about Aidou-Sempai." Yuuki finished, grinning. Amaya nodded in agreement, Kaito sweatdropping as he stared at the two girls.

"...Right, how arrogant. We do, however, have a good idea of where that guy went." He turned his head to look at Zero, who was leaning against a tree with his arms crossed. "Hey, Zero, you saw him right?" Zero merely said,

"They're here," just as Yagari walked up.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." Zero gave him an annoyed look as he demanded,

"What business do you have with me? Calling us here to a remote corner of the school..." Yagari merely rolled his eyes at his pupil's tone, stating bluntly,

"That's because some things can't be said at the association headquarters."

Within mere seconds, Amaya and Yuuki reacted. Amaya stood in front of Zero protectively, going into a fighting stance, while Yuuki stood next Amaya, arms outstretched and legs spread apart.

"Just what are you planning to do with Zero!?" Amaya demanded, glaring. Yuuki added, narrowing her wine-red eyes,

"Answer us, Yagari-Sensei!" Zero merely gained an annoyed face and placed one hand on Yuuki's head, and the other on Amaya's upper arm, pushing them slightly.

"Neither of you were summoned, go away." Amaya's eyes widened and Yuuki gave Zero a look.

"Hey, listen up good buddy, just 'cause you're tall, dark, and handsome, doesn't mean I won't kick your ass!" Amaya growled. Zero grew a small, amused smirk before frowning,

"Don't give me that "You can't tell me what to do" look. Same goes with that "I'll kick your ass" look, Amaya." Amaya blinked in surprise and her look vanished as shock formed on her face once she realized what was going on. Zero released the two girls and Yuuki placed a hand on her head, thinking,

'We're talking like we used too...before Amaya and I became vampires.' She realized. Amaya frowned, a saddened look forming on her features.

'I...I missed talking like this. With Zero-I missed talking with Zero.' She thought, a small smile growing.

"It's alright, Zero." Yagari told the silver-haired boy. "It's better to let them listen. We just didn't want the Association President, who's out right now, to hear this." Amaya's eyes widened. That's right, Kaien has been gone for quite a while now... "We're different from the Association President." Yagari explained. "We actually hope that Kaname Kuran will continue to act freely like this. However," Amaya tensed, while Yuuki frowned. ",we're worried that his independent actions will get in the way.

"Kaname-Kun, I wanted my expectations to be off." Kaien told the dark haired Kuran. He held his sword the Kaname's neck, Kaname gripping the blade as steam rolled off of his hand. Kaname's expression remained emotionless. "Why?" He asked, watching as Kaname lifted the blade up. Kaien pressed down with his weight, trying to keep it in that spot. "Why are you trying to annihilate all the Purebloods!?" His feet skidded against the ground as Kaname lifted the blade above his head, forcing Kaien to jump back and get back into a stance, pointing the weapon at Kaname.

"The question you asked is rather strange." Kaname replied calmly, a frown adorning his handsome features. "You, who made deals with Vampires for quite a long time, should be the one to understand most..." Kaien frowned, tense and ready to attack.

"Kaname, I thought you had decided..." He trailed off, trying to voice his thoughts. He regained his voice quickly and continued, "The path you and Yuuki both walked together!"

"One day, you will finally confess the responsibility you have been shouldering to me." Kaien kindly told the young Vampire. Kaname placed an unconscious Yuuki's head on his shoulders, holding her close and gently. He stared down at her with a tender gaze, love clear in his eyes.

"When Yuuki grows up, it is certain that she can not keep her "Human" status. When that time comes, I think this time, it will be my turn to turn Yuuki back into a human."

'The plans that you made at that time never happened." Kaien told him with a thoughtful look on his face as he recalled the memory. "To be honest, I'm kind of relieved because they didn't expect Juri-Sama to end up like that. But," He fixed Kaname with a hard gaze. ",after changing the plan, is this the path you choose? Yuuki, somewhere in her heart, she believed in you."

"That really does suit Yuuki's style..." Kaname said, a small smile forming on his face. "Please tell Yuuki, that being said, she will wake up from that illusion and realize what is going on, tell her that Jack, Amaya's father, and I killed Ouri-San. And the next will be Sara Shirabuki and his wife, Aliza."

"Kaname-Sama." A female voice spoke. Kaien turned his gaze from Kaname to the pink-gray haired girl leaning against the brick wall.

'Ruka?" Kaien thought in slight surprise.

Hanabusa looked around widely, panting with sweat beading down his face. "Damn it, I think I lost him. Where did he go?" He asked himself and walked in the direction where he thinks he went. "Headmaster Cross...He had nowhere to go with such a depressing expression." He recalled when he hid behind a tree, to chasing after a car. "It's an excellent idea to stalk him quietly but..." He paused, frowning deeply. "Headmaster Cross must've known the whereabouts of Kaname-Sama." Nagamichi's death scene replayed in his mind and he froze, stiff, and anger and hate filled him.

'He must be nearby...' Urges to slash Kaname to bits appeared and Hanabusa tried to regain his posture, forcing the anger and hate away. He is Kaname's soldier. He would not kill the Pureblood, despite how much he hated him for killing his father. For making Amaya cry like that... 'Speaking of Amaya, I need to talk with her when I get back.' He thought. He wasn't going to lose her to Kiryuu of all people. He told her once and he'll tell her again. She belongs to him.

There was a silence as utter depression and defeat filled Hanabusa as finding Kaname reappeared. He then gained a fire background as he got fired up, shouting, "FEEL IT! KANAME-SAMA'S INTUITION!"

Or so he thought. Hanabusa facepalmed, thinking, 'I would have done that in the past...How naive of me back then. Makes me wonder why Amaya put up with me...' He chuckled slightly at the thought and memory of the red-haired girl. He paused, listening intently as his vampire hearing picked up on some noises in a nearby alley.

"What is that?" He questioned no one, turning his head to look in said direction. "A party?" He walked into the direction it was coming from.

In said alley, there was a young, muscular man with red-orange hair, red eyes, and rather tan skin. He wore a black unbuttoned jacket with a collar and a grey shirt that showed some of his chest. He also wore a pair of brown paints and black shoes. His arms were crossed as he leaned against a brick wall, watching as woman took a jar of blood tablets from a man with spiky black hair and grey eyes.

"Thank you very much." She told the man, holding the jar to her chest as she began walking in the red haired man's general direction.

"This is not something you should be grateful for." The red haired man told her, swiping the jar of blood tablets away from the woman. She gasped and glared, demanding,

"What are you doing!? Give it back!" She reached for it, but the man held it out of her reach. "Give it back-"

"Hey, what's in the jar?" Th man questioned boredly. The light-haired woman griped his jacket, her nails digging into it, as she cried out, panicking widely, her eyes wide,

"GIVE IT BACK!" She demanded, yelling. The black haired man wearing the sweater, the same man that gave the girl the jar, ran up and knelt down, placing another jar in front the red-haired man, saying,

"If possible, please accept this too!" He ran out of the alley with the pair staring after him. The black haired man turned and slammed right into Hanabusa, who asked in slight surprise as some of the breathe was taken out of his lungs,

"E-Excuse me!" He cried out in slight alarm before regaining his posture.

"Ah, sorry!" The man cried out and took to run off, but Hanabusa quickly grabbed his arm, asking curiously,

"Is there a party here tonight?" The man yanked his arm our of Hanabusa's grip, he wasn't holding very tightly, and broke out into a run shouting,

"No, there isn't!" Hanabusa stared after the man confused for a slight second before looking into the alley, freezing at the sight before him.

The red-haired man's hand was steaming from where he burned the jar of blood tablets to ashes, and clinging to the bottom of his pants leg in desperation and despair was a light-haired woman wearing a brown jacket and a light pink dress. The man turned his head to look at Hanabusa, tensing slight as red eyes met blue.

"A-Akatsuki..." Hanabusa stated, shocked, yet relieved seeing that his cousin was alive and okay. Akatsuki merely blinked as he replied in slight surprise,

"Hanabusa..." The blonde then gasped, stumbling over his words as he tried to come up with a sentence,

"Hey-you-where-ah, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?" He exploded, charging towards his cousin and getting up in his face, his blonde hair spiking up slightly. Akatsuki blinked and stared down at his cousin in slight amusement, watching him explode. "I couldn't keep in contact with you-where have you been, Akatsuki!" He took another step forward as he said his name and paused, his foot stepping on something soft. He looked down in surprise, raising his foot up. "Huh?" Akatsuki looked away, apologizing,

"Sorry Hanabusa, hand this woman over to the Association. She looked a little strange, as did that bottle." His gaze moved to the bottle that the man put on the ground.

"Eh?" Hanabusa questioned, confused and exasperated. He watched, alarmed, when Akatsuki turned and started to walk away.

"Hey, wait up! Wait!" He shouted. Akatsuki paused. "Where are you going!?" Akatsuki turned his head while Hanabusa was talking.

"Back to," Flames started to rise out of the ground and separated Hanabusa from his cousin, "Kaname-Sama's side." And the flames blocked Akatsuki completely from view. Hanabusa's eyes widened and his fist clenched, his teeth grinding together.

Kaien gripped his wounded arm, teeth grounded together, as he bit out, "-how vexing! I initially thought of helping to send Yuuki a message."

"I beg of you, please don't stop me." Kaname told Kaien, emotionless.

"Unless you expect me to watch Isaya-Kun's family get attacked with my own eyes and doing nothing?" He narrowed his eyes, demanding, "What kind of sick joke is this!? I haven't even asked you the reason." His grip tightened on his sword as Kaname asked,

"What question?" Kaname asked as Kaien charged. "It is too simple to be put into words. It is only that my path has been constantly changed, but my motive has always been the same. Speaking of which, you, as the Vampire Hunter Association President, should be unable to deny my actions, Kaien Cross." Kaien's eyes widened when his sword pierced Kaname's shoulder, right where it connects to the arm. He narrowed his eyes as he replied,

"Well, I have never wished for the Purebloods to vanish." He frowned and pulled his sword out of Kaname's arm in surprise when the dark haired man started to turn into bats. He watched as he turned to pitch black and started to shrink, "Kaname-Kun-!" He froze, staring down horrified when a small hand reached out of the shadows, soon followed by shaggy blonde hair and black shorts and an old-fashioned tan shirt with a red bow underneath the collar. The same Pureblood boy who attacked and injured Yuuki Kuran and Amaya Chouko. Touma.

"Damn..." The boy coughed, blood pooling from his shoulder. "I've been...used...by him..."

"You..." Kaien began, but couldn't help but wonder, 'Have I been manipulated?' "You are a Pureblood from Limo's family, right?"

"Not...necessarily." He replied, coughing again. His fingers twitched and his blonde hair started to turn into a nasty green-brown from the blood. "It is...to give me my last blow." Kaien grit his teeth, his grip tightening angrily on his sword.

'Kaname is serious about wiping out the Purebloods...' He thought, narrowing his eyes as his fists shook. 'He plans to eliminate everyone but Yuuki or-'

"Ah, it'll be morning soon." Yuuki pointed out, a hand over her eyes so they didn't burn. Amaya groaned, facepalming and sliding her hand down her face. Even when she was human, she hated the sun.

"Great, just great. Why'd I follow you out here again?" Yuuki gave Amaya a bright, charming smile that would make men swoon-pffft!

"Because you're the greatest cousin ever and I love you so very much, Amaya-Chan!" Yuuki explained, smiling widely with her hands clamped together over her chest. Her eyes were closed and she tilted her head slightly to the right. Amaya's shoulders slumped as she sweatdropped, staring at her cousin in disbelief.

"What did I do to corrupt you so much?" She wondered seriously. Yuuki sweatdropped as she laughed. Zero thumped both girls on the heads, growling,

"Stop goofing off and listen already! You're both idiots and you're both corrupted! Did you even listen to a single thing we told you both!?" He demanded, lilac eyes narrowed.

'Is it just me, or is Zero even hotter when he's angry?' Amaya wondered randomly, her heart pounding in her ears as her face burned. She then slapped herself mentally at the though. She's with Hanabusa-okay, that's it, she needs to talk to Hanabusa the next time she sees him. She needs to clear her head...big time.

"If that's a way to tell me to "Convince your father" then it's not gonna work." Yuuki told Zero. She laughed slightly as she scratched the side of her head, replying, "I'd like it better if you said "Report to Kaien Cross and get scolded by him, the both of you" Zero.

"It's your choice." Kaito told the two girls. The cousins frowned and looked away from him and each other. "If Kaname Kuran kills all the other Purebloods, then our wish will be granted. "Don't interfere" is what I'd like to tell you both, but you can only stay here." He informed.

'Headmaster Cross would be upset if he heard about this.' Amaya thought, frowning deeply.

"I don't know what that guy's motives are," Kaito continued. ", and I'm unsure of how long he can hold on to a anti-vampire weapon, but you definitely won't be eliminated." He told the last part to Yuuki, a Pureblood. "Leaving behind a Pureblood who is kind to humans isn't a bad thing, just so long as it's one person." Amaya spoke up in protest,

"But what about my moth-er, Aunt, Aliza!? She's kind to humans as well!" Kaito fixed the red-head with a stern look, causing her to flinch slightly. She had seen that look too many times to not be scarred by it.

"Kagome~! Kagome~! The bird in the cage-!" Amaya forced the memory out of her head and stared back up at Kaito with a cold, steely look, trying to look unfazed.

"She is not together with the Kuran man, so he will most likely eliminate her as well." He told her, glaring right back down at the girl. Amaya flinched at the thought of her Aunt dying and her father's reaction...Too much death... Amaya then realized something and a halfhearted smirk formed on her face as she told the red-head,

"You're just like your teacher, aren't you? Saying such cruel and brisk things..." She raised her arms up and tilted her head slightly, eyes closed as she stated, "How mean. Besides, if it's just Yuuki living, then all the problems with Purebloods with cease to exist, ain't that right Snowy?" Amaya questioned the dark haired girl, grinning. It was forced, as the thought of Aliza dying was still in her head, but she tried her best.

"All the problems existent to Purebloods will cease to exist." Zero repeated, slightly different though. "Though I understand this, I just want to forget it." Kaito cast his teacher an exasperated look, sighing, before running a hand through his hair, stating,

"I'm going to bed..." He started to walk off, everyone looking after him. "You're going to be responsible sending her back, Zero!" The red-haired man called after the lilac eyed boy.

"Zero, I can't promise you anything, nor can Amaya, because we have already decided that we're going to stop Kaname." Yuuki told Zero firmly. Amaya nodded in agreement. Zero glanced down at the two girls. "But the important members from the society wish for all Purebloods to vanish." Zero nodded.

"Yes, indeed."

"Even you wish for for all Purebloods-no, Vampires the same, to disappear..." Amaya trailed off, gaining a saddened look and it felt like something was tugging at her chest, squeezing her heart. She frowned, biting her lip and clenching her fists. "All..." Amay flinched when the suns rays burned down on her. Out of reflex, she reached over and gripped Zero's uniform sleeve, asking quickly, "Is there any shade nearby? I hate the sun...It hurts." Zero nodded and Yuuki quickly ran over to a rather large tree that was big enough for all three of them to hide behind.

"Talk." Zero demanded, looking away from the two girls. "If you're both done, then I'll be going now."

"Sorry!" Amaya blurted out before clamping her hands over her mouth. Zero paused, surprised and turned to look down at the red-head. Yuuki sweatdropped and continued Amaya's thought strand,

"We're sorry. We know that you flashed a murderous vibe in front of the hunters to protects us..." Amaya felt slightly braver, so you removed her hands and spoke up, glancing up at the silver-haired boy, but unable to meet his eyes,

"The disappearance of all Purebloods-no, just Vampires in general, you didn't think of that, did you, Zero?" She questioned. A small, very brief memory of the manga popped up in her head and she remembered what Yuuki said, "Zero is much more gentle compared to others, so, your heart was not hurt by it." Something cold pressed against her forehead and Amaya found herself staring cross-eyed at the barrel of Blood Rose. "If I'm wrong, then go ahead and shoot me. I mean, I'm gonna end up getting myself killed one way or another, so why not have you kill me? It's better than being shot by a rogue hunter, that's for sure!" She cracked a grin, trying to lighten up the tense mood.

Lilac eyes met emerald green and both had multiple emotions running through them. It was quick as a lighting as they flashed by, so you barely got a glimpse of the emotions they held, but what they saw in each others eyes frightened them slightly, for they could not identify either.

Zero broke his gaze as Yuuki exclaimed, "Sara-san!"

"Oh my, what a dangerous slapstick!" The curly haired blonde exclaimed, an umbrella held high and elegantly over her head. Zero removed his gun from Amaya's head and held it at his side.

The atmosphere was tense as the three stared at Sara, who stared back, slightly hurt.

"...What's the matter?" Yuuki asked after a few moments. Sara frowned and replied,

"That attitude, it appears that I'm not trusted. Did I do something wrong?" Her voice and tone was completely innocent, and it drove Amaya insane-not that she wasn't already. Seriously, she's been hallucinating for most of her life until last year.

"Er...nothing, no." Amaya replied, uneasy. Sara frowned slightly, eyebrows furrowing as her blue gaze switched from Yuuki to Amaya, to Zero, to Amaya again, and back to Zero then Yuuki and Amaya.

"If that's the case, then telling you a secret would be a waste."

"A secret?" Yuuki repeated confused. Sara's frown deepened her gaze hardened,

"Do you think I would just tell someone who doesn't trust me a secret? Please, continued whatever it was you three where doing." She walked off.

Takuma knocked on the door and asked in a quiet voice, "Senri, are you awake?" The door creaked and made a few not-really-good noises before it jerked open, Senri standing with the door open surprised. His pale hand was curled elegantly around the door knob, his Mahogany hair rather messy-showing that he usually kept his bed-head hair during the day- and his stone blue eyes actually showed some surprise. He was wearing a basic yellow T-shirt and brown jacket, a pair of light brown pants on and he was also barefoot. Needless to say, if there were any fangirls or if Aiko was around, they'd have a heart attack.

"Takuma?" Senri questioned, his voice slightly drowsy. "What's up?" He stifled a yawn. Takuma gave a bright, closed-eye smiling and held up a packet of blood tablets saying,

"I have something to give you!"
