"To fall in love is easy, even to remain in it is not difficult; our human loneliness is cause enough. But it is a hard quest worth making to find a comrade through whose steady presence one becomes steadily the person one desires to be."

-Anna Louise Strong

"Ai-Aiko..." Her blood was dripping down his mouth and smudged over his lips. He could feel it drip down his chin and could clearly see the blood trail down her neck and stain her hair. Her lilac eyes were wide as she stared at him, their eyes locking as they stared at each other. Senri slowly placed his hands on both sides of her face and lifted her head up slightly, entangling some of his fingers in her dark brown hair, staring deeply into her eyes. "I..." If Aiko was blushing before, she was as red as the blood staining Senri's lips by now. They were so close... Aiko swallowed. "I'm sorry." Aiko blinked dumbly and before she knew it, she tasted blood. Her blood.

Aiko's heart felt like it might explode, pounding so hard and loud, she was sure Senri could hear it. Senri pressed his lips against hers, moving his lips against hers in an attempt to response back. Tears pricked Aiko's eyes in relief and her shoulders shook slightly as she pressed back, loving every second of this. She didn't care if she could taste her own blood, the same blood that stained Senri's lips from when he bit her and drank her blood, he was kissing her and that was all that mattered. The man she loved was kissing her.

Okay, it happened once before last year, when Amaya and Yuuki were still human, when Yuuki accidentally pushed Senri on top of her when she was running. But they both agreed that a kiss doesn't really count if there's no feeling in it. So they forgot all about it. Well, Aiko didn't. She was so sure that Senri did though...

Senri pulled away and rested his head Aiko's shoulder, muttering, "I've always craved your blood...A few months after I knew you, I craved it so much I wouldn't be satisfied until I drank your blood until you were nearly dry." He took a slightly shaky breathe, relaxed all of the sudden. "I love you." And there's his blunt comment. Aiko's face burned as she stuttered, surprised and happy beyond anything,

"I-I love you t-too..." And the lightheaded-ness comes back.. "I'm all dizzy now... Good night." Aiko let out a yawn and went limp, falling against Shiki who wrapped his arms around her, her head resting against his shoulder.

Senri sighed in disbelief. Of course she would faint, right after he admitted his feelings to her. Then again, he did drink a bit too much of her delicious and addicting blood... He leaned down and licked the bite mark, causing it to close up. He then walked over to his bed and set her down, deciding to stay head over to Takuma and stay with him for now...He couldn't hurt Aiko like that again. He paused at the door and glanced down at the unconscious brunette who was lying on the blue sheets.

"...Sorry, Aiko..." And left, silently closing the door behind him.

"Wait! Amaya, Yuuki-!" Maria called as she ran down the corridor, trying to catch up with the cousins. The girls slowed down and looked at Maria, who's face was flushed, and she continued with a saddened and distressed look, "I know how strange it is to be saying something like this at such a time, I know I'm not the one... Zero's hunger, I can't save him. You know that, right, Amaya?" The lilac haired girl questioned, looking at the girl in slight hope. Amaya frowned, nodding slowly, eyes filling with sadness.

"Yeah..." That's why she did what she did earlier, forcing Zero to feed off of her. But even she knows...that he is still hungry. Amaya's frowned deepened and Yuuki looked at her cousin/friend concerned.

"Amy-"

"I know that already, but don't think I'm gonna be lookin' for 'em!" She declared, crossing her arms stubbornly, lifting her chin up in a very "Araiya" pose. Maria gasped and looked Amaya shocked, and slightly angry.

"Why!?" She demanded, narrowing her blue eyes. Amaya chose not to say anything, still being proud. Yuuki felt a faint smile grow on her face as she stared at her friend/cousin, saying,

"Because that would be disrespecting Zero, Maria." She then remembered something and grabbed Amaya's bow that hung on her uniform, and grabbed Maria's arm exclaiming, "Now's a good time Maria, let's go! That's the way to the male's dorm! We can't let Ichijou-San stay by Sara-San's side any longer!" Amaya screamed as she was suffocated, Yuuki breaking out into a run and dragging Maria along with them-the poor girl. Yuuki made to drag the girls' into the building, but stopped in her place-dust forming behind her from when she was running.

Glass broke and shattered against the ground as a dark-skinned girl with curly black hair and wearing a maids outfit, flew out of the window. She also had a chocker around her neck which connected to a chain, symbolizing slavery.

"What the hell-!?" Amaya cried out in alarm and out of reflex, gripped Yuuki and Maria's arms and pulled them behind her, spreading her arms out on her sides in a protective position as flamed danced on her fingertips.

"What the-!" Yuuki exclaimed while Maria gasped as the young woman crashed onto the ground, rolling before skidding to a stop on her side painfully.

"Oh my!"

"Wu...Ugh..." The woman groaned and she tried to sit up, arms and legs shaking. Yuuki pushed herself out of Amaya's grip and ran towards the woman in worry,

"Are you alright!?" She questioned, furrowing her eyebrows, her long dark brown hair flowing behind her. The dark-skinned woman groaned again and slowly lifted her head, bangs falling across her forehead as she opened her rather round eyes. They were gold.

Amaya could tell by her scent alone, but the unusual eye color just confirmed her theory.

"Could you be-" The woman gasped and grunted, clenching her fists when a piece of glass dug into her side. "The-The Pureblood Princess from the Kuran Family!?" Yuuki suddenly took note of the chains around the woman's neck and exclaimed, eyes going wide,

"This is horrible! Who the hell would've done such a thing!"

"Shira-Shirabuki Sara!" The vampire blurted out, grounding her teeth together. Amaya left Maria's side and headed over to Yuuki and the woman, kneeling down next to her. Both girls' eyes widened. The woman gripped Yuuki's arms, desperate. "Please! For the sake of avenging my Lord, please, lend me your strength! The one who despicably appeared, suddenly breaking my Master's sleep and stealing and eating his heart, that female fox-"

"Whoa, slow down there, woman!" Amaya interrupted, clamping a hand over the girl's mouth, green eyes wide with hope. "Did-Did you just say that the one who attacked Hanadagi was-was Sara?" It wasn't Jack...Father...

The vampire servant nodded, carefully removing Amaya's hand from her mouth, and replied, "Yes. Though I couldn't see my Master in his final moments..." She closed her eyes, tears pricking them as she swallowed and continued, "But if it hadn't been for that female fox's attack, then Master would still be alive!"

Yuuki's wine-red eyes were as wide as they could go. 'Kaname...simply didn't attack Hanadagi-Sama's coffin.' Amaya let out a snort.

"I always knew she was a bitch." Amaya wouldn't admit it, but she was glad Jack didn't murder Hanadagi. But what about Aliza? What was Jack and Kaname planning right now? What are they planning to do next? And why couldn't she just remember the damn manga!?

"You want to kill Shirabuki Sara?" Vic Mignogna questioned, appearing behind the Hanadagi servant. Amaya looked up in surprise at Zero's sudden appearance, blinking.

"Zero?" The red-head and brunette questioned, not expecting him to appear so suddenly. The servant opened her eyes and gazed up at Zero in alarm.

"You're...the one who came up to Sara..."

"Amaya...Yuuki...I won't let either of you lay your hands on that woman." Zero growled, glaring down at the two girls. Both of them were taken aback and both for the same reason. He called them by their names. Without the honorifics on top of that.

'"Amaya". It's been so long since he called me that...' Amaya thought, frowning. Normally, she'd be a little bit pleased, but...

"Proceed according to my plans." Sara told the blonde, smiling sweetly. She closed her cerulean blue eyes. "Although the Night Class students' servants are taken by Yuuki and that insufferable redhead, it's enough to let things around them fall into chaos." She opened her eyes and glanced up at Takuma, who's forest green eyes were glaring defiantly at her as he trapped her in her chair. "If you require a "Weapon" this Academy is enough."

"Is that what you think?" Takuma demanded, angry. Sara smiled even wider and reached a hand up to stroke his cheek, Takuma pulling away from her touch slightly. Sara's eyes flashed slightly, but it was hardly noticeable.

"Then "That Child" will definitely degrade too. Just like you...Takuma?" She tested his name on her tongue, smirking sweetly. Takuma flinched at the way she said his name, not wanting to hear her address with him with such formality-like Senri, Aiko, and Rima do. Rima... Yes, it's obvious he cares for the orange-haired girl. But it was also obvious at how much Senri and Aiko care for each other. He wonders for a split second if the two got together yet, before letting an image of Rima appear in his mind for a millisecond, only to look angrily back down at Sara again. A deep frown adorned Takuma's handsome features as he tried to pull away from her touch, but being forced to stay do to the Pureblood power she possessed.

"A real Devil...and it's a pitiful woman." Yes, Takuma just insulted her. She pushed him beyond his limits. Sara smiled at him, mischievousness glinting in her eyes, as she lifted her head up, revealing some of her neck to him.

"Now drink, Takuma." She mocked the boy. It was an order and Takuma had no choice but to obey. His face was one of complete despair and disgust as he gripped her shoulders and leaned down to her neck, biting down harshly as her sour, yet pure, blood gushed into his mouth. Oh, how much he wanted to spit it back out... He swallowed the thick, crimson liquid and buried his fangs deeper into her neck. Sara placed a hand on the blonde's head, saying, "What I want is a servant who disagrees with me, but is unable to break free from my shackles. Someone pitiful, but outstanding. And little birdies that never leave my side for a second." Images of the human girls she turned into Vampires flashed through her mind as she smirked. "Submitting to me the Vampires of this world, Puppets that will never tire," The Hanadagi servant. ",and a convenient weapon to annihilate the Purebloods." Messy, silky silver-hair and angry, but sad, lilac eyes. Thin and pale, but handsome face. A gun pointed at your head and a "Gangster" styled way of wearing the Day Class uniform. A white and red prefect badge on his right bicep... "Speaking of which," Sara continued as Takuma continued to drink her filthy blood. ",that child seems like the ultimate result of Kaname's "Great sin."

There was a knock on the door, which Takuma was grateful for, and Takuma pulled away from Sara, wiping the blood off of his lips quickly.

"Bring me the puppet that has escaped." Sara ordered the blonde, who nodded obediently.

"Yes, it'll be useless even if she tries to escape." Takuma replied and for a brief second, wondered what Rima was doing and if she was having a better time than he was. He hid a chuckle. 'Anything would be better than doing this.' He thought. Takuma calmly walked over to the door and opened, only to be greeted with the smell of extremely sweet blood and a mop of Mahogany hair. "S-Senri?" He frowned deeply, recognizing the scent of blood. His eyes widened when he caught site of Senri's blood stained lips. The blood was smudged and most of it was wiped off, but there was still a little bit remaining at the very corners of his lips. "Where's Rima? And Aiko? And why do you smell like Aiko?" So many questions were running through his head at this point.

And for the first time in Takuma's life, probably Senri's as well, he had never seen, not once, seen Senri wear such a pained and sad expression.

"I drank the blood tablets..." Senri admitted, bangs covering his pained blue eyes. "I can still taste her blood on my lips...I can taste her." Senri moved in the room, weaving past Takuma, and paused once he was a few feet inside the room. He glanced up at Takuma, eyes almost pleading with him, "I placed Aiko on my bed after I healed the wounds. She's unconscious and Rima will most likely find her... Takuma, I thought that coming back to your side...would be easier." Yes, Senri knew he was taking the cowards way out, but he couldn't face Aiko. Not after that. Not after what he did to her...He wanted her. All of her. He would've drank all her blood if she didn't snap him out of it, he just craved it so much. And then he kissed her... Senri never had emotions run through him like this before, it was confusing him. He usually was able to stay calm and keep a bored facade, like the puppet he was made to be could. But now...he just wanted to scream and take all his frustration out on something.

"S-Senri..." Takuma didn't know what to say, seeing his dear friend in such a state. All he could was stand and stare, his forest green eyes wide open.

"What?" Amaya was surprised beyond all reason, never expecting that to come out of the lilac eyed boy's mouth. "Not-Don't lay a hand on her-what the, who the hell are you and what have you done with Zero!?"

"Such words from Zero's mouth, what are you saying!?" Yuuki demanded.

"Oh dear..." I think everyone forgot about Maria...Poor girl. The Hanadagi servant struggled to stand, growling with narrowed gold eyes,

"If you want to try and hinder me..." She lunged at Zero, crying out. "You and Sara are the same! Master's enemies!" It was too fast to see what happened exactly, but within moments Zero had his foot pressed against the girl's back, her body pressed against the ground. Unconscious.

"Hey," Zero spoke to Maria, who's face instantly turned red, and she stood up straight, trying to correct her posture. ",bring her to Kaito."

"Y-Yes!" Maria complied, nodding frantically. She quickly stumbled over to Yuuki, Amaya, and the Hanadagi servant, lifting her up with the other girls' help. "This person had a tragic encounter." Amaya and Yuuki were going to help carry her, but Maria caught their looks and told them, sensing their intentions, "I'll be fine! You both should deal with the matters where Takuma-Kun is at!"

"Y-Yeah, o-okay." Amaya was slightly startled at the request. Yuuki nodded, not wanting to upset Maria, and said,

"Yeah, we'll leave her to you, Maria." She was also rather grateful. Maria lifted the servant up on her back and walked away, stumbling here and there. Once she was out of earshot, Amaya spoke up, relief in her tone,

"The Hanadagi girl...she said that it was Sara who attacked Hanadagi." Yuuki nodded,

"Yeah. Neither Kaname,"

"Or father." Amaya interrupted, smiling slightly.

",sprung a sudden attack." She looked up at Amaya, a person whose courage she admired. Amaya nodded, grinning, and gave Yuuki a thumbs up and looked back up at Zero, who had his back turned to them,

"Yup! Not everything is contaminated or whatever you wanna call it!" Yuuki quickly took on her professional act as she turned to Zero, apologizing,

"I'm sorry if we caused any disorder at the Academy. Once my supervisor and I deal with problem, we will stop both Kaname and Chouko-San." Amaya nodded, trying to not be down at the fact that she'd be going against her own father-an image of Nagamichi's death flashed through her head. Hanabusa's horrified and crumpled form... Amaya wanted to cry right then and there, but forced herself not to. She had to be strong, for Yuuki's sake. For Hanabusa's sake. For everyone's sake.

"Yeah, we'll take 'em down." She quickly ran after Yuuki, who was already leaving through the door. Yuuki was already out of sight when Amaya made to open the door, only to be gripped by the shoulder roughly. Amaya glanced up in time to see a flash of narrowed lilac eyes and silky silver hair, "Zero-!?" She grunted when she was slammed against one of the walls, Zero staring at her with a pained expression. "Z-Zero..." Amaya didn't know what to say.

"That guy...both of them..Kuran Kaname...Chouko Jack..." He began, staring at her in the eyes, leaning in close to her face. "Every cell, their entire existence... everything is contaminated. Kuran Kaname destroyed my all! My family, Ichiru and Me, Chouko Jack even had you taken away from me!" Amaya's eyes widened. What? "They-" He cut himself off just as Yuuki poked her head through the door, finally realizing that she was ranting to someone who wasn't even there. She blinked her wine-red eyes at Zero and Amaya, confused.

"Amy, Zero, what're you-" She froze, the scent of roses drifting in the air, along with mint, pomegranate, and raspberries. That smell was kind of sour, but she recognized it. Especially when she saw the red-haired man with blue eyes, standing next to a tall mall, half a head taller than the redhead, with dark brown/black hair and bright wine-red eyes. "Kaname...?"

"D-Dad?" Amaya asked, tears pricking her eyes slightly at the sight of her father. She hadn't seen him in over a year and the last time she saw him, was when she was turned back into a Vampire. "Daddy-" She made to step forward, ready to burst out into a run and hug her father, only to be stopped by Zero, who gripped her arm tightly. Amaya hardly noticed, her emerald eyes locking with her father's ocean blue.

Wine-red met a lighter wine-red and Yuuki froze. 'Kaname is...My Kaname is over there.' She thought as she blindly walked towards her brother.

"Daddy-!" Zero's grip tightened considerably on Amaya's arm and she snapped out of it, turning the top part of her body painfully and reaching out with her right arm to grab Yuuki's wrist, who was on the left. Pain flared through Amaya's abdomen and side as she twisted, no body being meant to turn that way. "Yuuki!" Yuuki snapped out of it, looking widely at Amaya and Zero. She was confused for a moment but focused, realizing...

'His pulse...I can't feel either of their pulses.'

"The Jack and Kaname in front of us are illusions." Amaya stated bluntly, narrowing her eyes angrily. How dare they try and trick them!?

'My Kaname isn't here himself...in front of my eyes.' Yuuki thought and realization hit her like a brick to the head. Her eyes glazed over in sadness as she frowned, her chest tightening. "You're not here to take me away like the other day, right?"

"Dad...Why?" Amaya questioned suddenly, narrowing her eyes. Her chest tightened and pain continued to flare through her body at being twisted like she was, but she had to know. The horrifying scene kept on playing and playing repeatedly in her head. Jack's head turned and his hair looked as though it caught flame in the sunlight, every shade of blue moving like waves with the sun reflecting off of it, his dark skin seeming out of place in the limelight. "Why did you-why did you let Kaname kill Hanabusa's father!?" And that was all it took as her lip trembled and tears started trail endlessly down her cheeks, her shoulders shaking harshly. "Why!? Why!? I thought you were best friends! You once told me that he was like a brother to you! Why!? WHY!?"

Jack did not answer for a few moments, merely staring sadly at his daughter. The one child he had grown to be so proud of-the one who reminded him of his late lover, Araiya, so much. Her emerald eyes were the same, burning with same passion and sadness, defiance to be tamed, loneliness and the want to be loved. The eyes that burned with the need to know everything, everything that was going on, everything that did happen-She wanted answers. Answers he could not give. The same eyes that shone with loss and hidden hate, misunderstanding, and fear. Fear of being hated and alone. Fear of losing all of her loved ones...

Jack spoke up, his deep voice finally matching his actions for once, "It had to be done." Amaya hardly took the time to notice that pain was also flaring in her arm from when Zero tightened his grip on her when she started to cry.

"Why did you come here?" Yuuki questioned Kaname. "Now...at this time?"

"Pitiful, but lovely, My Yuuki." Kaname commented, raising a hand up slowly before clenching into a fist as he stared at her emotionless. There was a hint of sadness in his eyes that you would miss if you didn't look to closely. "You have become a hindrance."

And just like that, Yuuki's world shattered. Amaya's breathe hitched at those words and Yuuki's reaction.

"Even with all the effort you have put in so far, you have yet to understand my intentions." Jack spoke up next, narrowing his eyes at his daughter,

"And even with your brilliant mind, you could not have figured it out? I'm ashamed of you, firecracker." Amaya tensed, her world shattering. Her father was right...She should have known it. Manga or not, she should have figured it out. She's smart, she's intelligent-not at Hanabusa's level of course, but she was still pretty smart. She...she disappointed her father. "I've known from the beginning that you were nothing but a burden. Sarah always was the one Aliza favored, after all." It hurt Jack to say such things, but it needed to be done.

Amaya's shoulders began to shake again, silent tears streaking down her cheeks as he father spoke. The words he said were harsh and cruel, cold and brisk, but true. She was a failure.

"Jack is right. You should have Kiryuu explain everything to you both." Kaname spoke up, gesturing to Zero. "In some ways, he is the one who understands my existence extremely well." Zero cast quick glances at Yuuki and Amaya before looking back down at the ground, saying quietly,

"I...Somewhere in my heart, I believed...that you would walk along together with Yuuki."

There was a silence after Zero spoke before Yuuki ordered, "Tell me Zero." It was soft, and quiet as her bangs fell over her face.

Silence.

"Tell me, damn it!" She was pissed and wanted answers and she was sick and tired of Kaname doing nothing but making her cousin/friend cry and bring her grief. 'I know that he hoped for me to be happy. I knew Zero so well but I...' She thought, grinding her teeth together in anger. 'I'm not sure what I don't know about Kaname.' She then realized what she said and sighed, running a hand through her hair in annoyance, "I'm sorry, Zero...If it's something you don't want to tell, you don't have to say anything.

"..I don't believe you." The American girl finally spoke up, eyes narrowed darkly as she stared coldly at her father. Jack's eyes widened.

"What?"

"All the times we've spent together cooking, joking...All the time when we made dinner for our family when Aliza was pregnant with Sara... All those illegal fireworks we've set off and had to run from the cops right after." Amaya continued to list off her memories with her father, a sad smile on her face as she continued to cry silently. "Whenever we visited that cemetery for mother, you always saying that she was Auntie's sister...You always had me bring chocolate to set on the grave. And you placed gloxinias right by them? When you held my hand as we walked down the store aisles and you always asked me what ingredients we should pick out for the next big feast...A-And when I talked to you on the phone while I was at the Academy last year, when you told me I couldn't go home for break, you sounded so happy and cheerful and was ecstatic when I told you about Hanabusa! You seemed so happy! And when you asked me if I made any new dished lately-you can't tell me that you were only acting! I know you! You're my father you-you're not capable of doing something so cruel!" Everyone was staring at her by now.

Zero and Yuuki had sweatdropped during the rant, both thinking the same thing, 'Setting off illegal fireworks and running from the cops? Americans are crazy.'

"I'm sorry." Was all Jack had to say before he vanished into bats. Amaya's heart wrenched painfully and she released Yuuki's arm, legs trembling as she shook.

"You released Shizuka Hio from her prison, why?" Zero questioned, trying to change the direction from the conversation. He glared, narrowing his lilac eyes. "Why?"

"...To remove Shizuka-San's grudge,no," Kaname spoke up after a few moments of his friend's dismissal. ",it's to hunt down a certain Hunter couple."

"...Why?" Zero questioned. His fists were clenched.

"To plant the seeds of a grudge against Purebloods, into that family's twins, with no liberation from it until death." He answered calmly. Amaya froze and her head shot up, staring wide-eyed at Kaname Kuran. Yuuki's eyes widened as she tensed and Zero had a pained look on his face as he demanded,

"...Why!?"

"To make the twins into weapons, that wouldn't stop until all Purebloods are massacred."

"Why..." Within seconds Zero had Bloody Rose pointed at Kaname's head, demanding in pain and anger, "WHY US!?" The two cousins watched as thorns grew from the metal as Zero continued, "At least, if Ichiru wasn't brought into this," Amaya reacted quickly, seeing that look on his face and what was happening to his gun.

A dark hand placed itself on Zero's hand gently, pushing the gun and his arm down to his side, another reaching up and brushing silky, silver hair out of his face, before resting on his cheek.

Yuuki finally removed her gaze from her "Brother" and looked at Amaya and Zero, smiling sadly. Kaname vanished into bats, very much like Jack did.

Amaya finally stopped crying, but her cheeks were stained with tears. She stared up at Zero with a frown on her face, her expression only changing when Zero brought his arms up and wrapped one around her shoulders and the other behind her head, embracing her tightly.

"What do you want?" Maria questioned Akatsuki and Ruka, glaring slightly as she tightened her grip on the servant who was tossed over her shoulder. "I heard that you guys have been working with Kaname-Sama!" She recognized the two and their names popped up in her head. "Kain Akatsuki-San and Souen Ruka-San..."

'I can't believe I'm meeting them again at this place.' Her grip tightened on the girl and birds of all types started to appear, flying out of trees and through windows.

"We're just passing by." Akatsuki spoke, ever being the pacifist. "We won't do anything. So can you dismiss your birds?" He let out a sigh. Ruka blinked, barely recognizing the person Maria was holding.

"Hey, isn't that the person who was guarding Hanadagi-Sama?" Maria then realized that if these two were on Kaname's side, then she would have to protect the golden eyed servant.

"Zero-Kun entrusted her to me." Maria answered slowly. She then realized that Zero would probably do this, "I won't let you hurt her!"

"Hey!" There was shouting coming from the stairs, footsteps pounding against the ground. Everyone looked up to see Hanabusa walking down the stairs demanding, "What do you want!?" That was aimed at his cousins, Akatsuki and Ruka. He stopped walking and paused in front of Maria protectively.

"You followed Kaname-Sama." Akatsuki merely replied, bored other than anything. Hanabusa narrowed his eyes, the ice blue flashing dangerously.

"I see..." He looked down for a moment before lifting his head and giving the two a look, saying, "I won't allow those who haven't gotten permission from neither our good-natured Dorm leader or our Vice Dorm Head to do as they please here. Even if it's Kaname-Sama...And even if it's you!" Hanabusa lifted his hand up and flexed his fingers, ice shards forming almost instantly and growing on his fingers like claws. You could see the conflict on Hanabusa's face clearly. Akatsuki saw this as he lifted his hand up, catching it on fire,

"Hanabusa...I didn't come here to fight you. Sorry." He stretched his arm out to the side and flames grew along the ground. He then reached and arm out towards Ruka and grabbed her shoulder, pulling her to him, "Ruka, come here." The strawberry blonde gasped in surprise. Flames grew around them quickly and Akatsuki waved his arm again, sending a blast towards Hanabusa, whom quickly threw up an ice barrier. Hanabusa threw a hand over his face, crying out,

"WAIT, AKATSUKI!" And the flames died, both Ruka and Akatsuki gone.

Yori let out a sigh when she saw all the birds flying around during the strange time of night, pulling her jacket closer to her body, cold.

"I wonder what's wrong." A girly voice from behind her said suddenly, causing Yori to jump and whirl around, screaming. "There are various birds at this time of night-and shhh!" The Dorm leader pressed a finger on her lips, giving Yori a stern look. The blonde sweatdropped, apologizing,

"Sorry..." The sounds of birds frolicking around stopped and the Dorm leader lifted her head, listening intently.

"It's gone quiet...I wonder what happened?"

"Just now the birds flew towards the direction of the Night Class." Kageyama stated from behind the girl, a dark aura surrounding him. Both girl jumped and quickly clamped their hands over their mouths so they wouldn't scream. They whirled around to look at him, Yori exclaiming,

"Kageyama-Kun!"

"I...was thinking." The brunentte admitted sheepishly before turning serious and pushing up his glasses, "Don't you think the Night Class is strange? They seemed weird when I called them out that afternoon as well." He remembered Kukai and Tadase when they started to chase him and Yori.

Yori looked at the Dorm Leader quickly, asking worriedly, "Had something happened? "Those people" who've come all the way here are our allies, right?"

"Just like Aidou-Kun..." The Dorm leader trailed off, frowning. She remembered how protective Hanabusa was of Amaya after she pushed her to the ground when she caught her, Yuuki, and Hanabusa lurking at the boy Sun Dorms.

Yori nodded and gasped, "Yes, but..." She paused when some kind of shriek or something made itself known.

"I think I heard something just now-from the direction of the Night Class." Kageyama spoke. Yori nodded,

"Yeah, me too."

"Really?" The Dorm president asked, surprised. Yori looked up at the Night Dorms, frowning.

'I feel uneasy, you three.' She was talking about Yuuki, Amaya, and Aiko. 'During this period, I've been thinking that it has always been impossible to live with Vampires.'

"It's bad if I can smell you." Sara stated bluntly, Kaname standing calmly behind the chair she was sitting in. "On the way here you "are" a Pureblood, didn't you? Although, it's not really a big deal, to you who has committed a "Grave Sin." Her blue eyes opened and stared dully at Kaname. "One cannot turn Humans who do not desire it into Vampires" Isn't that right, Jack-Kun?" The red haired man walked out of the shadows, the tips of his fingers catching fire as he narrowed his every-color-of-blue eyes, growling,

"Do not call me that, Sara Shirabuki." The American man was pissed.

"That is the sin that our ancestors decided that we can not commit." She chuckled slightly and smiled sweetly, saying, "It's such a foolish matter but, it's exactly because we respect this rule that we are able to live on the same land as Humans today." She glanced up at Kaname, her cerulean eyes glinting mischievously, "Isn't it a good thing that the war from a long time ago is not repeating itself?"

"Sorry for the late notice," Jack apologized, glaring at the blonde woman. ",but it's your turn, Sara Shirabuki."

"You wanted to eat more Purebloods." A familiar voice spoke from behind them. "How foolish." Takuma. Takuma placed a hand on Kaname's shoulder and another of Jack's upper arm, saying, "You can leave it to Sara-San from now on, right, Kaname? Jack-Kun?" He smiled at them and turned his head to face Kaname, eyes closed, "Yuuki-Chan says she believes in you because it's about you. Something's going in, isn't that so?" The blonde opened his forest green eyes and gave him a look, asking, his eyes pleading with the man, "If that's the case, could you take her and go someplace as far as possible?"

Kaname merely stared at his friend;if he was surprised, he didn't show it. "Takuma..." The fires on Jack's hands extinguished, too surprised to really say anything. Jack stared blankly at the two men before fixating his gaze on Takuma, frowning deeply. The look in his eyes was very similar to Amaya's in terms of confusion and realization. He gasped and took a step back, pointing dramatically at Takuma exclaiming,

"Hold on a second-I recognize you! You're Takuma Ichijou! Aiko and my daughter's friend!" He then paused, going into chibi-mode, holding a finger up to his chin in confusion as he stated, "But aren't you supposed to be Happy-go-Lucky? You're so depressing..."

If he was that sort of man, Kaname would've sweatdropped and slapped Jack upside the head then and there.

Zero embraced Amaya tightly and the girl could only stand there, arms at her sides and fingers outstretched in shock. They relaxed quickly however as her eyes tried to flutter shut, tears forming once again. 'I think I understand now...' She was going to cry again, she knew, but she tried not too. She knew how much that would bother Zero and she had cried enough to last her a whole 'nother year.

Zero tightened his grip on her, fingers entangled in her flame red hair, shorter than ever from her crappy attempt of cutting it herself. Her hair was soft and smelt of strawberry, but Zero didn't pay attention to that. He inhaled her regular pomegranate scent and his eyes closed half-way, his eyes gaining a pained expression as he remembered her as she once was. A Human. A girl he loved. A girl he still loves. A Vampire. An Aristocrat, level B, Vampire Noble. His grip tightened again and he thought, 'It's not like that.'

'If I trace the roots,' Zero moved his hands from her head and back and placed them on her shoulders, pushing her away forcefully. 'I'm a part of it.'

Zero stared down at the girl, a pained expression still on his face as he continued to think, 'It's not like that, so...'

Yuuki's eyes were also tear-filled, crying along with Amaya. Without Amaya's consent, silent tears streaked down her cheeks.

'Because of that...That reason alone I-I have to go against my own father.' Amaya thoughts continued to speak in her place as she stared up at Zero, her eyes locking onto his. He was staring intently at both girls, distressed. 'I have to help Yuuki stop Kaname and in that process, I have to go against my own Father.'

'I must stop Kaname.' Yuuki thought, staring sadly at Zero, her adopted brother.

'...don't cry in my place.' Zero's thoughts finished, pain filling through him at the sight of both girls in tears.

"Senri...Aiko..." Rima called out as she followed the scent of candy and sweets down the hallways, down to the Boys' Dorm. "Senri!" She called louder this time. "Aiko!" She was starting to panic and paused, confused, at Senri's bedroom dorm. "What...?" She was more than confused. But then the scent of blood hit her nose and she tensed, slight hunger gnawing at her stomach. She shook her head, sighing, and quickly popped a regular, normal blood tablet into her mouth. She chewed elegantly, before placing a palm against the solid white wood of the door that read: SHIKI SENRI #203. "Senri, why is Aiko's blood-" She began, pushing the door open and stepping into the room, only to freeze.

It was as if Rima's own powers electrocuted her at the sight of the messy room. Empty, half-empty, and even unopened Pocky boxes scattered all over the room. Across the floor, on the desk and dressers... And the blood. The extremely, but not very appetizing smelling, sweet scent of Aiko's blood.

'Senri didn't...' Rima thought, her electric blue eyes going as wide as they could, her lips parting in a slight "o" shape as her fingers twitched. 'He didn't attack Aiko...He couldn't of. He cares for her-he wouldn't hurt her.' But her eyes proved those thoughts wrong.

There, with a peaceful expression on her face, a small smile spread out on her soft pink lips, was Aiko. Her legs were spread out and one of her arms rested across her stomach, the other beside her head with her hand resting on a light blue pillow. The blue sheets she was lying on was stained with blood, along with a few of the pillows. The tips of her hair, the strands closer to her neck, were sticking together and looked like an icky black color as his stuck against her skin and neck, which was covered with blood. Her black and white uniform top was stained near the collar and stopped at her chest. There was also some blood smudged against her lips, confusing Rima on why that was so as Aiko was the victim and not the attacker.

"A-Aiko...Aiko!" Rima cried out, alarmed and horrified at the same time, and ran over to her friend quickly, checking for a pulse-which was ridiculous since she could hear her breathing, but hey, cut the model some slack. Her best friend attacked her other other best friend, whom he liked, and drank her blood to the brink of unconsciousness. She dropped her wrist and thought of ways to wake her up and stuck with, "Rima... Senri's trying to take all your pocky. Are you going to stop him or not?" And her lilac eyes shot open, the almond-shaped eyes wide with panic as she sat up quickly, attempting to get up off the bed and crying out,

"Senri, damn it, don't touch my pocky!" The girl then fell off the bed, getting tangled with the blue blankets, and screamed as she face-planted onto the ground, hands sticking up and twitching in the air. Rima sweatdropped, face going chibi, as she deadpanned,

"Next time, don't rush to get out of bed." Aiko lifted her head slightly, gaining an annoyed face as she gave Rima a twitchy grin.

"Right...Whatever you say Rima..." She moved her eyes to look at the door and froze once all the memories of what happened hours ago returned. Her face went beet red and smoke flew out of her eyes as her legs slid off the bed, Aiko face-planted once more. Rima sweatdropped and would've face-palmed if it was in her character to do so.

"...Are you alright...?" Rima didn't know what to think of her friend's behavior. Was it because of the blood loss or...what? What else did Senri do? The smudged blood on Aiko's lips reappeared in her mind and she frowned, thinking hard of how that could have got there. When it did, her eyes widened and she lifted her head up slightly, alarmed. 'Senri bit and her and then he-What was he thinking!? He's giving her mixed signals here! Then again...He did crave for her blood and that usually only happened if you liked that person-and that was if you were really craving it. You wouldn't be satisfied until you drank from that person. But to humans, from the stereotypical books she read and movies she watched-like Twilight for example. Worst mistake ever.- being bitten usually meant that you were prey. Not because the Vampire actually liked you or craved your blood and wouldn't be satisfied until he had some, but that he was just hungry and saw you as his next meal.

"Senri kissed me!" Aiko cried out, clamping her hands over her mouth, after shel sat up on her knees. Rima sweatdropped again, not catching that.

"What?" She questioned. Aiko looked at her with a red face, hands covered over her mouth, and her voice was slightly squeaky as she recalled,

"S-Senri kissed me..." Rima blinked once, twice, then she actually expression some emotion. Like, huge emotion.

Even though Rima had kind of guessed that, she still replied with going into chibi-form, hands pressed against her cheeks, fangs showing as she screamed,

"WHAAAAAT!?" Shikigomori all the way! Aiko sweatdropped and laughed nervously, scratching the side of her head as she continued, slightly embarrassed,

"And I might've..kinda...kissed him back." If Rima was Takuma, she would've fainted or been cheering with joy. But she was not the adorable and happy-go-lucky blonde, no, she was Tooya Rima, a model. A respectable model. One that people envied from all over the world. No, she would not do something like that.

...Rima fell over as her soul left her body, never really expecting Senri to make a bold move like that. Aiko squealed alarmed and shot up from her spot, gripping the bottom of Rima's soul, stuffing it back into her mouth,

"I got your soul, Rima!" She reassured and tried to wake the poor ginger back up. "Rima, come on...don't do this to me! I need you right now and I'm rather hungry." She glanced at the pocky around the room as Rima opened on of her eyes and questioned dully,

"Not for blood, I hope." Aiko laughed at that, waving a finger at her as if she was scolding a child,

"Tsk, tsk, Rima. I would only do that if Senri asked me to become a Vampire so I could stay by his side." And it was true, she would. She would probably go to the ends of the Earth if it meant she could stay with Senri. Rima eyes opened and she stared at Aiko with surprise, before letting a small smile grace her usually frowning lips.

She already approved of Senri and Aiko getting together, but this just made her ship them even more. Aiko was good for Senri, even if she didn't know it herself. But to be honest...despite Senri being as blunt as he is...she expected Aiko to make the first move. Not the silent hero.

Rima silently wonders to herself how Takuma was doing...
