"Everything's a lie." Amaya said suddenly, causing Yuuki to look at her confused.
"Amaya?"
"Everything, my entire life, was a lie. It's-It's-Bwahahahaha!" Amaya broke out into maniac laughter. Yuuki stared at her worriedly, blood spreading on her uniform again. "Oh-Oh my god, everything makes perfect sense! It's-It's-Oh my god! OH-Oh, it hurts! It hurts so much!" Her chest was shaking heavily from her labored breathing and laughter, pain flaring in her head and sides from laughing so hard and loud. "i never would've thought-Oh, it makes so much sense, It's uncanny! Oh my god, Yuuki! You know what this means, don't you!?" She glanced at her cousin, who was staring at the red head with wide wine-red eyes.
"Wh-What?"
Amaya cracked an insane grin, finally cracking. "I'm more pathetic than I thought. I'm completely unstable! The hallucinations really did drive me off the deep end! It's brilliant! My mind is so clear-I can see the future clearly! There'll be two girl's who look like Senri and two gingers! There'll be a boy with silver hair and a girl with Mahogany hair and a cute little blonde with a pink bunny! I only know Ouran High School Host Club because its in the future! It's not a manga or anime at all! I made it all up in my head as a Human, it was my telepathic abilities cutting through my Human veil! Jack was right, I am a psychic! I imagined this whole scenario as a Manga because I foretold it! You were the main protagonist, Yuuki, because everything circles around you! There was no Amaya Chouko or Aiko Tsukigomori or Jasmine Ichihara!" One. One liked Zero. The irony. "There was no Araiya Kuran or Jack Chouko, there was no fiance to Hanabusa or you being demented, there were no extra characters! It was always you, Zero, and Kaname! Oh my god, It's all brilliant! Ahahahahah!" She burst out into laughter again. "There was no me! I couldn't be in it, after all! That would make me go insane trying to figure out why I was in a story! No, it had to be changed drastically! You were the one who gave Zero blood, you were the one who fell in love with Kaname, you were the one who got kissed by Zero! Hanabusa never ended up anybody! You were always there! It's brilliant! It's a brilliant catastrophe! Oh, the beauty of it is amazing!"
"A-Amaya...You're scaring me." Amaya stopped immediately and stared at her cousin with a sad, yet calm expression on her face, a small smile forming.
"I know...I'm sorry, Yuuki. I just...I never would've thought that-" Her voice cracked and more tears welled up. "I-I...My life...I always thought..." She swallowed and bit her trembling lip. It was then they realized, the blood was all gone. Amaya sat up and said, placing a hand to her forehead where Zero shot her, "It' over. The Hallucination's finally over." She wasn't going to cry. Not now, not with the situation they were in. When she's alone and the danger is all gone, she'll snap and break down. She'll only cry then. "Let's go get those bastards." Amaya grouched, standing up and walking over to Yuuki, who was standing gracefully.
"Let me go!" The Hanadagi servant cried, Kaito holding her arms behind her back, "Let go of me!" She struggled and tried to break of Kaito's grasp so she could charge and rip Sara Shirabuki's heart out of her chest. I would be so easy. The blonde was just a few feet in front of her, standing next to Zero. All she had to do was break free, charge, and rip her very heart out and crush it...blood gushing out of and down her finger tips...The way her Master died. She'd eat her heart, just like how she ate his. She screamed out loudly, "Let me take my revenge on her!"
Sara merely turned her head, her cerulean blue eyes gazing at the dark skinned girl, observing her silently. Her curly blonde hair fell down her shoulders in waves and ended at mid-back, her pale cheeks tinted with red and her thin eyebrows furrowed as she observed. Her eyes fluttered closed as she blinked them, long lashes framing her gorgeous blue eyes perfectly. Her bangs framed her face and the fringe cut elegantly across her forehead, the pink dress she was wearing, the top clinging to her hourglass figure perfectly. It clung to chest and flared out at her waist and below, stopping at mid-calf. She wore a grey trench coat that made her pale blonde hair stand out even more.
"If you struggle, the handcuffs will activate." Kaito told her calmly. "Calm down. She's not someone you can easily defeat."
Zero quietly let Sara past them, causing Kaito to turn his head and glance at the prefect, questioning,
"Zero, what are you scheming?" Yagari approached Zero and said harshly,
"Hiding this Pureblooded woman from Kuran Kaname, what are you thinking!?" He demanded, blue eyes flashing. His messy black hair stuck up in all directions, his bangs covering his eyepatch. "You must be crazy!" He bit down on his toothpick angrily, shoulders tensing up. "Haven't you heard of the recent rumors?"
"What rumors?" Kaien questioned, appearing next to Yagari. The dark haired man turned to him, biting out,
"The rumor that Purebloods are unnecessary! Regardless of their personality." He answered, causing Kaien to tense up, amber eyes narrowing. Yagari continued with a thoughtful look, suggesting, "So if we just allow Kuran Kaname and Shirabuki Sara to wipe each other out..."
"What a sick joke." Kaien stated bluntly, narrowing his eyes angrily. He squared his shoulder and looked around the room at all the Vampire Hunters there and demanded, "Do you all honestly believe in such things a sensible Vampire Hunter would consider shameless!?" He demanded, shouting. The room went silent as Vampire Hunters and Vampires alike stared at Kaien. Vampire such as Sara, Takuma, and Zero, the Hanadagi servant, and Maria. And Vampire Hunters as in...well, almost the whole building. Kaien then tensed, the scent of roses and raspberries wafting in the air.
"They're here." Sara spoke up, her voice like windchimes in the antagonizing silence. "What will you do," She questioned Zero, looking up at him, his back turned to her. ",you still have the choice to abandon me now." Zero turned to stare at her, lilac eyes flashing.

"Even though it was to stop all four of you, I showed Yuuki-Sama and Amaya-San a pretty cruel illusion." Ruka sighed, sweat dripping down the side of her face in nervousness.
"No...," Kaname spoke up, licking Yuuki's blood off of his fingers. ",I'm very grateful." Jack was silent for a few moments as they walked towards the direction of the Vampire Association Headquarters. They were halfway there when he snapped, hands flying up to his head as he screamed angrily, scratching his head ferociously,
"What should I do!?" He whined, tears streaking down his face heavily, his every-shade-of-blue eyes closing as he sobbed, no longer walking. Amaya's heart broken, world shattered, face echoed in his head. Araiya would kill him if she saw him now, "My darling daughter must hate me now! I wasn't even planning on telling her about her psychic abilities until all the battles have passed! ARGH!" He screamed and Ruka, Kaname, and Akatsuki stopped to look at him. Akatsuki and Ruka were sweatdropping, Kaname merely giving his friend an annoyed look. "Why am I such a bad father!? AMAYA! FORGIVE MEEE!" He screamed up at the sky, hands outstretched towards the setting sun.
"If you don't stop whining, I'll slap you." Kaname warned the redhead, effectively shutting him up. But that didn't mean that Jack didn't give his friend a childish pout as he blinked cutely.

"Anyone who doesn't want to see anything gory," Zero began, putting Sara in a headlock as he pulled her hair back and leaned his mouth down to her elegantly curved neck. ",should leave now."
Yagari and Kaien turned to look at Zero and he barely gave them a chance to say anything before he bit down harshly on Sara's neck, sweet and pure blood gushing into his mouth. Thick, crimson blood travelling down his throat, giving him strength, power, enhanced abilities. Strangely, he was reminded of Pineapple. He then remembered something Amaya told him a long time ago, a time where he almost cared zero to nothing about her.
"I swear, seriously! In pretty much every episode of Psych, there's a random Pineapple that comes out of nowhere! It's hilarious!" He fought down the smile that tried to grow on his lips, but he couldn't help the small twitch upwards of his mouth.
Everyone in the Hunter Association stared in stilled shock at what Zero and Sara were doing.
"Yes..." Sara gasped, her eyes power hungry, "I'll lend you my strength for your revenge...To eliminate Kuran Kaname and Chouko Jack, who are out to kill me."
At Jack's name, Zero's grip on her tightened considerably, anger and betrayal filling him.
"The men who stole everything from you..."
X.X
Kaname placed a hand against the door to the Association and said, "Disgusting..."
"She gave Zero nasty blood." Jack sighed, running a hand through his flawless red hair.
X.X
"Eliminate him." Sara ordered as Zero pulled back, blood dripping down his lips. He quickly wiped it away with the back of his hand, hissing slightly. On his face...was a pained, conflicted emotion that was rather hard to place.
It was a face that one he showed rarely, only to those he was comfortable with...
Hurt, pain, anger...Betrayal.

"It's them!" A Hunter cried out from the outside on a balcony. "They're here!"
"Kuran Kaname is here!"
"Chouko Jack is directly beside him, they're being followed by a light haired brunette and a ginger!"
"Akatsuki Kain and Souen Ruka are accompanying Kuran Kaname and Chouko Jack! They are Accompanying Kuran Kaname and Chouko Jack!"
"Shoot them now!" Another shouted, pulling out a pair of guns and aiming it at the Pureblood and his friend, who were walking calmly towards the gates.
"No, wait!" A light haired man called out, a red bandanna wrapped around his forehead. "I heard from senior Hunters that we should just let them kill each other!"
"Senior Hunters?" The trigger-happy man questioned, alarmed. "You mean Touga?" He argued, "But our job is to stop Vampire invasions!" The two stopped arguing in alarm when a sudden burst of air blasted them in the faces. They paled considerably and stared in fear up at the grinning redhead in front of them.
"H-He comes..."
"They're h-here..." They stuttered, eyes as wide as they could possibly go.
Flames danced around Jack's head in a ring, flickering and fading in and out repeatedly as he came to a decision.
"Quickly, fire!" A man shouted as the two men stood up. "The Head of the Chouko Family and friend to the Kuran Family is our enemy! Shoot!"
BANG BANG BANG
Bullets made to pierce Jack's chest, but were melted rather quickly when the flames that were dancing around his head dashed forward and tackled the bullets, turning into a burning white hot fire and disintegrated them. Jack laughed manically and spread out his arms to his sides, outstretching his fingers and lighting his hands on fire. Every-shade-of-blue flames started to trail up his arm like a snake, coiling around it, before spiraling and wrapping around his neck. Small, intricate, daggers grew out of the flames and formed in his hand, flames spiraling around it like a song.
"Don't hesitate, do your job!" A woman, this time, shouted. Her dark hair was pulled into a bun and she had glasses on, a crossbow in her hands. She pulled back and released, an arrow shooting towards Jack. Jack turned his head and felt a pain stinging in his shoulder. He grunted, stumbling backwards a little, before letting out a spiral of flames towards them, him doing a little spin in the process. "Whoa!" They all jumped back, the flames missing their faces by inches before it faded out.
Jack took advantage of their surprise and leaped forward at them, a blue light covering his hands and fingers. As he passed each one, he touched a part of them ,causing them to freeze and fall unconscious. He grinned and laughed Victoriously, before walking over and picking one up by their shirt collar. He had blonde hair and a red bandanna around his head. "I'm so very, very sorry, dear sir, but I'm afraid I need to use you so my friend and I can get in. Please do forgive me."
The man merely groaned as Jack dropped him in the doorway entrance, Kaname appearing suddenly, face one of slight amusement.
"You always were one for theatrics, Jack." Jack grinned at his bud, saying,
"Why thank you, Lord Kaname. I do try my hardest." He mocked sarcastically, but joking. Kaname felt the urge to roll his eyes, but ignored it. Kaname looked down at the man on the ground and apologized,
"I'm sorry, but I'm afraid we can't come in without your help." He then lifted a foot and elegantly stepped on the man's back, putting all his weight on him.
'And he says I'm in for theatrics?' Jack thought, staring at his friend with an amused look on his handsome face, before doing the same; stepping on the man and entering the Association. Jack dismissed his fire, but held his daggers tightly in his grip, Kaname holding a sword calmly at his side.
"Is it true?" Kaname asked himself, looking up at the ceiling, "The deposit was buried here...?" He closed his wine-red eyes, the image of Yuuki and the dark haired woman flashing through his mind.
Jack frowned deeply, staring at the man he considered a brother. He knew his plan, for he was part of it, and was not going to let him go through with it. No, he'd do it himself. He would not let Kaname do something so reckless and put Amaya nor Yuuki into depression. He felt his daggers vibrate suddenly and heard Kaname's sword let out a small hisss sound. He frowned and tightened his grip, ignoring the voice urging him to go and stab Kaname right then and there.
Rubble exploded in front of them, thorny vines growing out of the marble floor and a man wearing a Day Class uniform without the jacket, so you could see the vest, holding a gun appeared, crouched down and glaring hatefully at them.
"Get them, Bloody Rose." The silver haired man whispered, causing vines to shoot out of the ground and attack Kaname and Jack. The scent of Roses drifted in the air and Jack thought,
'The Blood of a Rose,'
"Bloody Rose," Kaname spoke, blood trickling down his perfectly made cheekbones. The vines did not pierce his chest, shoulder-no, no body part other than slicing his cheek, freezing when he spoke.
'The man whom others obey,' Jack continued to think, staring the vines and watching as they burned. 'Your unpleasant past...'
"Right, you've known it before." Zero spoke, staring directly at Kaname. Kaname smiled sadly as he plucked a finger on a thorn, caressing the vines gently.
"It's the first weapon I've made during the deposit." Kaname explained, blinking calmly.
'You who stopped loving, stopped caring, until she was born into this world...'
"Now, I'm it's Master." Zero finished, glaring and narrowing his eyes. Kaname clenched the vines tightly, blood trickling down his palm and onto his wrist, staining his trenchcoat sleeve.
'Are truly one to be feared. Not one to be reckoned with.'
"And, I am..." Zero continued, widening his eyes as he shouted, ", my own Master!" A pained expression formed on his face quickly at the thought of Yuuki's and Amaya's voices echoing in his head, Amaya's louder than the brunette's,
"I know this already, stupid, why are you telling me?"
"I know..."
Bloody Rose was pointed directly at Kaname, only to be shifted to point at Jack, who was still deflecting bullets. "Bloody Rose...Suck all the blood out of Kuran Kaname."
"Zero..Since you can't be my weapon," Kaname spoke, raising his voice for once.
'A man like god, yet a man like a peasant...Possibly the most Human Vampire there ever was...But also the most Vampire a Vampire could ever be...'
"I won't let myself be killed by you!" He raised his sword.

"They put up a fight at the Association's Headquarters?" Ruka sighed in disbelief, "Unbelievable." The man continued to look at her, waiting for an answer.
'Those two are complete idiots.' She thought, grinding her teeth together. She spoke,
"Kaname-Sama doesn't want to make an enemy of the Association, but you can't enter this room." She told the old man.
"How can we trust you, Vampire Girl!?" A young woman demanded, angry. "We're a prestigious Hunter Clan! This is the Vampire Hunters' street!"
Ruka and Akatsuki were silent, trying to figure out how to talk to the angry citizens.
"Oi, Ruka." A familiar, deep female voice spoke. Everyone looked up to the bridge to see a long haired red head and brunette standing there. "And Yuuki...How can you stand having such long hair!?" She whined, pulling at the long red locks. "It's bugging me!"
Yuuki sweatdropped at her cousin, only to narrow her eyes and growl in arguement, "You're the one who wanted to form a defiance or whatever you called it! You said you change your hair style whenever you get depressed and I merely made a suggestion!"
"It looks like a rats nest!"
"Wh-ju-Just come here!" Yuuki held up Artemis and placed Amaya's bangs to it, causing the girl to freak out, screaming,
"Don't cut my head off!"
"I'm not, jeesh! I'm cutting your hair!"
"No you're not!"
"Yes I am-" She quickly swung Artemis, lopping off a great deal of Amaya's bangs. The redhead blinked, annoyed, as she spat red locks out of her mouth. "There we go! Much better!"
"...Now I look like Juri..." Yuuki sweatdropped and face-palmed, all to aware of everyone looking at them.

"What's wrong with you," Kaien demanded, glaring at all the Hunters. ",aren't you familiar with Vampires!?" Silence. "Does that mean you're waiting to see Kaname-Kun and Shirabuki Sara kill each other!? If no, then go get that intruder who broke the agreement." His glare intensified as he shouted, "Don't forget your own job!"
Conflict arose on the Vampire Hunters' faces before they broke out into a run to get the intruder.
"You're the only one who should remember their job, President."Yagari stated, looking down at Kaien. "You hide Purebloods in the Headquarters on by one. Especially Shirabuki Sara and that one brunette, Kuran Aliza." Kaien cast Yagari a glance and said,
"You know her plan." Yagari's lips tilted down into a frown, saying,
"And I say it's a rather stupid one. What kind of idiot is she? Let Kuran kill himself, it's the least he deserves after causing all this madness, the bastard." He let out a small string of curses before saying, biting on a cigarette, "At least considering the recent event about blood lozenge, we should keep an eye on that blonde, Shirabuki."
"Yeah...I know that." Kaien stated slowly after a few moments. He looked at Yagari, saying, "But you can't force others not to do their job. And you didn't do your own job either." Yagari gave Kaien a hard look for a moments, before taking out his cigarette, smashing the butt of it on his foot, and walking away silently.

"Ugh...There seems to be an endless number of them." Kaname said, raising his sword and deflecting another barrage of rose vines. "Help me out here, Jack."
Jack grinned madly, waving his arm and creating another wall of flames, saying, "No thanks, man, that's sides yours-whoa!" He ducked and barely dodged an oncoming bullet from Bloody Rose. Despite the seriousness of the moment, he had to make a comment, "Sorry Kiryuu-Kun, but you no longer have my blessing!" He laughed, incinerating more vines.
Kaname let out a small grunt when his sword was pulled harshly out of his grasp by the vines, it clattering onto the ground. He frowned and quickly reached out with his hand, gripping tightly onto a bunch of vines, cutting his hand repeatedly, more blood dripping down his wrist, "Why...is Pureblood's blood called poison? It's the source where power comes from." He watched his blood dip down onto the perfectly made marble floor, which was now covered with rubble and burnt by Jack's flames. "That's because, no matter who the blood it put in, it still belong to the Pureblood." Vines started to wound themselves around his face and body, "Don't forget that, though you plan to get used to it by suppressing it, you still hold my poison in your body."
Zero's clawed hand froze inches from Kaname's face, his lilac eyes going wide as he tensed, pausing in his assault.
He barely blocked an oncoming attack from Jack, his cheek being slices by a dagger.

"God damn it, I hate this." Amaya let out a colorful string of curses as she pressed her right palm against the ground. Yuuki panted slightly, Artemis gripped tightly in her hand, as she whipped access blood off of her faces, the scent of Roses and Pomegranate drifting in the air.
Vampire Hunters lay unconscious around them on the ground.
Amaya looked around, dismissing Ruka and Akatsuki's shocked look, of checking to make sure they didn't kill anyone. She let out a sigh relief, "Good...Nobody is dead. I'm sick of it."
"Amaya-San...Yuuki-San...You hurt yourselves." Ruka stated dumbly, shocked. Akatsuki questioned bluntly,
"Sick of what?"
"Death." She answered bluntly, opening her emerald green eyes, which seemed to look older than the rest of her teenage body. Akatsuki on felt a slight shiver go down his spine as he stared at her eyes, "There's too much of it. Too much war. I just want it to end." Her hands caught on fire and she jumped, quickly smothering it out. "Damn it..." She cursed again.
"Amaya..."
"I'm fine, Yuuki."
"Why did either of you just stay in your rooms and have a nice sleep!?" Ruk snapped, worried and angered at the same time about the two girls. Amaya glared at the brunette, snapping,
"Because we're not just going to sit here and let this war between Kaname and the other Purebloods continue any longer! My father-in-law is dead, my birth father is a murderer, and my Uncle is one too! My fiance lost his dad and people are still dying!" Amaya refused to let the tears fall as she ranted. Ruka and Akatsuki had both tensed, the brunette stepping closer to the male ginger. "I don't know about you, but I'm sick and tired of it. I want it all to end. And right now, currently, all I'm concerned about is getting Yuuki back to her brother! So shove off, got it!?"
"Amaya-San!" Ruka protested, stepping forward, only to have Akatsuki place in arm in front of her saying,
"I'll stop them."
"Akatsuki!" She cried out in protest.
"We have to go." Yuuki told them, calmly. "We have to go to those people."
"We have to stop them." Amaya added, frowning deeply.
"Akatsuki, no!" Ruka shouted, gripping onto the ginger's arm tightly as he moved forward, "You can't hurt them!"
"I know." And suddenly he was in front of the two girls.
"We'll go there," Yuuki began, stepping away from Akatsuki and looking at Ruka, "So set yourself free, Ruka-San."
"Do it!" Amaya encouraged. Ruka's light brown eyes widened, "Give us back the tender person who clings onto you, Ruka!"
CRACKLE
Everyone looked up to see a wall explode and rubble to fly everywhere, somehow, missing the group of four. Amaya jumped, startled, right into Yuuki, who stumbled right into Akatsuki, who caught them both with a small grunt. The two stumbled away from him as they all turned to look at the three newcomers.
For what caused the explosions was not a bomb or anything of the sort or Amaya or Akatsuki's fire powers going out of control...
No, it was something much more serious than that.
Kaname, with a hand tight around Zero's throat, slammed him into the wall and smashed it, causing rubble to fly everywhere and slam Zero's back harshly onto the cement when they fell. Jack came jumping down from the room they came from to join them, arms blazing with blue flames. If Zero wasn't a Vampire, he'd be dead with a crushed skull and broken bones.
Yuuki quickly pushed Akatsuki away from her, sending him towards Amaya, who grunted and moved away from him as the two girls charged.
"Kiryuu-Kun..." Kaname whispered, bringing his face close to Zero's. Their noses were barely touching, "It's enough right?"
"How about it?" Jack questioned, walking up with his arms spread out to his side, grinning. "Ready Zero?" He looked ready to strike Zero, Amaya screaming,
"Daddy, no!"
"Zero!" Yuuki shouted in alarm, knowing both she and Amaya would be unable to reach him the silver-haired prefect in time. Kaname had reached his hand back, prepared to rip his heart out.
There was a blur of Acorn yellow hair and everything went in slow motion.
Ruka had tackled Zero, wrapping her arms around his waist and burying her face in the crook of his neck. Zero's lilac eyes widened, blood splattering against his and Ruka's face, as Kaname dug his hand into Ruka's chest, barely missing her heart. Jack's hand rested just above her shoulder, kneeling down beside her, the flames flickering in and out from shock. Ruka's acorn yellow hair blew in the wind, her eyes shut tightly as her coat grew red, stained with the crimson color of blood.
Ruka let out a grunt and a pained shout as Kaname removed his hand from her back, blood dripping down his fingers. He stood, Ruka falling limp against Zero, who was just laying there, shocked. There was a cold wind, in which Amaya's jaw tightened, gritting her teeth together, her shoulders tensing.
Yuuki felt tears in her eyes as she stood, staring horrified at the scene in front of her.
Akatsuki had the most pained expression of all, the woman he loved possibly dead, "Ruka!" He cried, face distorted into one of horror and pain, as he charged towards the young brunette. Jack quickly retracted his hand and stood, backing away to stand next to Kaname, who was gripping his sword tightly.
Blood stained Zero's uniform vest as blood leaked out of Ruka's chest. "Wh-Why?" He bit out, finding his voice. He lifted his head up as best as he could in his current position and stared wide-eyed at Ruka, whose head rested against his chest.
She was breathing heavily, back heaving up and down.
"Ruka!" Akatsuki cried out as he gently, but quickly, but her away from the man, holding her himself. Yuuki and Amaya both tightened their grips on their weapons, pissed off and depressed to no end.
"Kaname-Sama..." Ruka gasped, clutching Akatsuki's jacket tightly. "P-Please don't...do that..."
"..." Kaname was silent. Jack had shadows covering his face, his side bangs removing themselves from their regular positions to hang down in his face.
Ruka coughed harshly, some blood trailing down her lips.
"This...is too much, already." Yuuki said slowly, dark shadows crossing over her face and giving her a malicious look.
"I'm sick of this..." Amaya said, voice barely over a whisper. She glanced up at Kaname and Jack, pure hatred forming in her eyes, as she screamed at them, "I'M SICK OF YOU DOING NOTHING BUT KILL EVERYONE!" She raised Luna, prepared to charge and strike the two.
"Kaname...this is-" She tightened her grip on Artemis, ready to attack, only to have some of her hair singed off, a blast of heat forming suddenly behind. On instinct, she looked at Amaya, only to find flames surrounding her in rings. She had a deep frown on her face, giving her a much older look, and her waist-length hair flew in front of her, catching on fire and burning. Amaya calmly grabbed the edges of her hair and ran her hand along it, smothering the fire out.
"Akatsuki," She began, frighteningly calm. She turned her head to glance at the ginger and inquired, "What do you think you are doing?"
"Dorm President Kuran..." Akatsuki began, ignoring the enraged Amaya, "Ruka won't get angry at you for something like that, but I'm different." His fists were blazing with white fire, showing just how pissed off he was. He started scream, "I WILL-!" He froze, Ruka's cold hand gripping his sleeve. She quickly, and painfully, sat up and wrapped her arms around his long legs, resting her head against his hip.
"No...Don't!" She coughed again, shoulders shaking, "I was the one in the wrong...because I acted impulsively so..." Her eyes fluttered closed as she fell forward, her arms losing their grip on Akatsuki's legs.
"Ruka!" He cried out as he quickly knelt down and caught her.
"Ruka..." Kaname began, part of his shoulder missing from Akatsuki's attack. "You shielded him and betrayed me...so it's over between us,"
Amaya, the childish part of her, couldn't help but think, 'You make it sound like you two were dating...'
'What are they, a couple?' Jack wondered briefly, before going back into his previous dark state.
Ruka cast Kaname a pained look, nodding, "I...understand..." Kaname turned his back to everyone, saying with a brief glance at Yuuki,
"Take care of Ruka...,Yuuki."
Within moments, he had a scythe pressed against his throat, a small hand gripping his left arm, "What is "Her Will" that has compelled you to go this fat to accomplish it?"
"Father...I'm going to ask you again..." Amaya started, glaring darkly at Jack, as she took a few steps froward, "Why did you kill Nagamichi? Why did you kill Father?" It's amazing what death can do to a person. Send them into depression, make them emotionless, or make them mature and grow up. Or, it can make you realize how much you truly care about that person the very second you realize you'll never see them again.
The shadows and hair that covered Jack's face moved and Amaya froze at his expression.
His lips were tilted down in a frown, his eyes halfway closed, the every-shade-of-blue eyes that were always so filled with confidence and joy...were shaking with pain and agony. Silent tears streaked down Jack's face, his bangs framing his face and falling into his eyes slightly, the most painful, hurting expression you could ever imagine one making...was etched directly onto his face.
"D-Daddy...?" She questioned, uncertain now. 'Why is he crying? Wh-What's with that expression...on his face?'
"I told you, firecracker..." Amaya froze at those words, her hand that was outstretched towards him freezing at the realization that struck her. "It was because we had too."
"D-Dad..." Amaya felt like a little girl again, what with the urge to break down crying and hug her father, who'd run his hand through her hair and tell her that everything was okay and that she needed to be a big girl and suck it up. That she needed to stop crying and be confident. Plaster a smile on her face. But she pushed those urges away, reminding herself that she would only break down once this was all over.
Zero stood up, clutching his wounded arm, blood splattered across his face and causing his gorgeous silver hair to stick to his skin, framing his face. Watching Amaya and Yuuki's scenes with their loved ones.
"I'm sorry." He apologized quickly, before waving his arm and encasing himself in a ring of flames, separating himself from his daughter, who was looking at him with a look of complete desperation and hurt. He couldn't look at that face any longer, for he feared that he would break down and tell her everything.
She watched as the man vanished from her view, clenching her fists and gritting her teeth. She looked down, her messily cut bangs falling into her face, "Why...?" She asked herself quietly, "Why are you doing this...?" She just wanted it all to end. No more bloodshed, no more death. Just...end it all.
"No matter what that may be, it's wrong...to do something like that." Yuuki spoke, eyes filled with pain.
"After catching me like this, then...?" Kaname began after a few moments, "Yuuki, what will you do after catching me?" His gaze caught hers and she froze. A net started to fall down from a window as a man shouted,
"SEIZE KURAN KANAME AND CHOUKO JACK!"
As the net fell towards Kaname and Yuuki, Kaname quickly pushed Yuuki away from him and vanished into flames, Yuuki holding nothing but a burnt hand that eventually vanished. She fell to her knees, clutching the hand as it vanished, looking at the net that had anti-Vampire arrows dug into the ground, and questioned softly, "Why...? Why did you save me?"
"He got away!" A man shouted, cursing colorfully.
"Pursue him immediately!" A woman ordered, her deep voice echoing in the corridor. Yuuki lifted her head up when a thought struck her,
'Ruka.' She turned her head to look at Ruka and Akatsuki, only to find Amaya trying to offer her blood to them.
"I'm close enough to a Pureblood that it should be able to help a bit." She explained urgently. Ruka was dying and fast. Her wrist had to puncture holes in them from when she bit it, blood dripping down her wrist. "Just take it! It'll speed up her healing!" Amaya was starting to panic and it was showing on her face.
"Ruka-San!" Yuuki cried out as she stood up and ran over to them. She stopped once she was beside them, "Are you okay!?"
"She was pierced close to her heart," Akatsuki informed, a pained expression forming on his face. ",we won't be able to stop the bleeding so easily."
"Ruka..." Amaya was really freaking out now, but she was hiding it surprisingly well, "Just drink my blood! Toughen up already, please!" She was close to begging right now.
"Amaya's right, Ruka." Yuuki told her, "Try and muster some strength and drink our blood." Ruka finally gave in, breathing heavily, skin cold as ice, not wanting to argue with the two at once.
"...Yes..."
Yuuki lowered her wrist to Ruka's mouth, only to have Akatsuki snatch both hers and Amaya's wrists. They gasped in alarm as Akatsuki lowered his mouth to Yuuki's wrist and gather some of the blood, before doing the same to Amaya, before releasing them and leaning down to Ruka.
They watched with wide eyes as he pressed his lips against hers.
Ruka's eyes widened at the feeling of Akatsuki's rough lips against hers and then they widened even further at the taste of the mixed blood entering her mouth. She swallowed the thick liquid and closed her eyes, pressing back. Ruka wouldn't admit it, but she actually craved his blood. Akatsuki's.
The scent of Daffodils never left the air.
