I'm on a roll today! :) Finish one chapter, listen to Vocoloid while working on this chapter, I think I got it. XD
"Lies."
"I'm not lying." He placed a hand behind her head and another around her waist, holding her close, "I won't run away anymore...Before you let Amaya steal Kiryuu-Kun's memories, I should've used my life to make you Human...and I should've entrusted you to Kiryuu-Kun and Amaya sooner..."
Yuuki opened her eyes and felt tears prick them. SHe pushed herself away from Kaname, her hands on his chest, "You're so selfish. You always think that you can get Zero to do whatever you want him to do...and now you're bringing Amaya into this!?"
"The feelings he had for her, weren't part of the plan. Her conflicting emotions between Hanabusa and Kiryuu-Kun almost ruined it."
Yuuki looked up at him, unable to believe what she was hearing, and asked, "Tell me...Was it all my fault?" Kaname's face went solemn and he said,
"The night when Rido wanted you and came to this residence was he beginning."
"Why did you give up on living with me!?" Yuuki demanded, feeling heartbroken. She could feel the tears threatening to fall, but held them back.
Kaname grabbed her hands and pressed them together, holding them with his much larger hands, and said with a sad look on his face, "My love isn't...I sometimes feel as though you don't laugh from your heart." Yuuki felt the tears grow stronger and she argued,
"I love you, Kaname! And yet, tomorrow, your going to go throw your own heart out into the freaking furnace tomorrow!" The tears were already flowing down her cheeks, "Why-Why do you keep acting like such an idiot!" She snapped before reaching up and wrapping her arms around his neck, kissing him roughly. Kaname's eyes widened in surprise when she did that, and they widened even more so at the hurt look on her face and in her eyes as she pulled away and hugged him. He felt the pain in his shoulders and back from when she dug her nails deep.
"It hurts...What happened to you, Yuuki?" He asked, voice monotone, but worried. Yuuki said nothing, her shoulders shaking, "I see..." He kissed the top of her head and embraced her tightly, "If you're okay with someone like me, Yuuki...I'll show you how much I love you." He lifted her up bridal-style to carry her to their room.
Zero pressed a hand to his face, his headache increasing drastically. He felt as though he missing something important, but couldn't figure out what. He knows that his memories missing were because of his injuries from a coma, but still...
"What's wrong, Zero?" Kaito questioned worriedly. Zero removed his hand from his face slowly,
"It's nothing..."
"...Then, It's fine." Kaito said after a few moments, eyeing him suspiciously. He removed his look and said, "Then don't get too relaxed, we have a new mission to carry out. We are to guard and monitor Kuran Kaname's estate."

Amaya awoke, still exhausted, and saw Hanabusa's face right in front of hers, sleeping soundly. She let a small smile form on her face at the sight and leaned forward, pressing her lips against his softly and pulling back, cuddling with him. Hanabusa, opening his eyes groggily, smiled at her and wrapped his arms around her, kissing her forehead.
They soon fell back asleep. The next time she awoke, she found the bed cold and Hanabusa missing. She sat up, panicking slightly, and pulled the covers up over herself, both cold and self-conscious. There was the opening and closing of a door and she turned her head to see Hanabusa buttoning-up his blue coat. She relaxed, feeling stupid for worrying over nothing. He caught her gaze and smile lovingly at her, before saying with a flirtatious smirk,
"You might want to get dressed before I lose control again," His smirk widened when her face flushed. He did not go easy on her, "that, and we have to head over to Kaname-Sama's estate soon. But, I'm sure we can fit one more round in-" Amaya quickly tumbled off the bed with the blankets wrapped tightly around, furiously grabbing her clothes and making a break to the bathroom. Hanabusa's laughter echoed around the room and Amaya felt like lighting his hair on fire for teasing her.
He finished buttoning his shirt and glanced at his watch, frowning. It's a bit of a rush, but...it's not like they have an exact time to go there. He called to Amaya, who was getting dressed, "You done yet?"
"Y-yeah, give me a minute!" Meanwhile Hanabusa gathered up the sheets and blankets in a pile to bring them to the laundry room. After a while, he got back, and Amaya was sitting impatiently on the mattress. She raised an eyebrow at the blonde and questioned, yawning, "Can we go yet? I'mma fall back asleep if I stay heeeere." She yawned loudly, causing him to chuckle. He walked over to her and picked her up bridal-style, obviously spoiling her, and said,
"C'mon, I'll carry you to the car. The chauffeur is waiting for us." Amaya didn't complain, only let out a small grunt as he lifted her up, and rested her head against his shoulder. But before she did so, she gave him a small kiss on the cheek. She soon feel asleep to the rhythmic pattern of his heart and steps, which seemed to pound in unison. Before she fell asleep, she mumbled a small, "I love you," to him. He replied,
"I love you more than you think, Butterfly."

In the distant past, Yuuki briefly saw that Kaname helped the Humans with affection, but was betrayed. Even so, he has always stood by them as their ally. Despite losing his greatest companion, and despite losing his greatest comrades, he has always, always, always...
It's as though, he wouldn't be allowed to live, if he didn't use his life for the sake of someone.
Yuuki awoke and smiled softly at Kaname, brushing some of his wavy hair out of his face, Maybe he's decided to end everything. She thought hopefully.

Takuma explained, "Besides intending to kill all Purebloods, he's decided to become the weapon that will threaten all Vampires." Senri and Rima stared at Takuma, waiting for him to finish, while Aiko just had an annoyed look on her face. "And that course of action has agitated the remaining Purebloods. Since Kaname and Chouko Jack-San had decided to become the Humans' allies, staying around Kaname had become more dangerous than ever, so..."
Rima placed a hand on her hip, just as annoyed as her Human friend, "So? You only want us to go home because it's dangerous?"
"And in case you've forgotten, Takuma, I don't have a home here in Japan. I've been staying with Rima." She frowned deeply and stated, "If Senri is staying, then I am."
"And if they're both staying, then so am I." Rima added, frowning at the acacia blonde. She then continued, giving Takuma a look, "And you're saying that if it's Senri, he can stay?"
"What kind of reasoning is that?" The females' demanded, both very annoyed. Takuma felt a sweatdrop forming. He clearly remembered the saying, "Hell Hath no fury like a woman scorned" and he was slightly worried for his well-being at what not only Rima, the girl he loved, but what Aiko, Senri's lover, could do to him.
Senri pointed at himself as he went into chibi-mode, almost as if saying, "Me?"
Takuma sighed and crossed his arms, frowning, as he said, "Well, even if I tell him "no" he'll still come along in the end."
"Yeah..." Aiko sighed, "He's stubborn as all hell." Senri moved his gaze towards Aiko and blinked, asking,
"What's wrong with that?" He asked curiously and not sure if he should be offended or not.
"Nothing!" She defended, raising her hands and waving them in front of herself, "I like your stubbornness-!" She clamped her hands over her mouth, embarrassed, and diverted her gaze from Senri, who felt his lips turning upwards in a smirk.
"Is that so?" He questioned, seeing her red face. He felt himself get thirsty again, but ignored it, as it was just his Vampire instincts demanding dominance over the Human. Or maybe it was just because he was a guy? Who knows?
"N-No..." She argued, still not looking at him. Clear sign she was lying.
"Yeah, that astounds me too, not to mention their relationship." Rima replied to Takuma, staring at him. She's been staring at him since Aiko and Senri started their "Lovey-Dovey" scene started."
"Rima..." Takuma began, looking at the ginger with worry, "Aiko going is bad enough, she's Human and will be the most likely to die, but Rima, please, go home. I don't want you to get hurt."
Rima looked at Takuma in surprise, her heart fluttering slightly as her stomach did those flip-flops that happen when you like someone, but argued, "I'm not going, Takuma. I'm sorry, but I can't."
"Aiko, Rima, Takuma...," Senri began, diverting his gaze from Aiko and towards the ground as he spoke, "all of you have supported me in my darkest of times," He cast a glance towards Aiko, as if saying "Sorry" from when he ruthlessly bit her. "so.."
Takuma cut in, saying sadly, "I've only been protecting their precious "Weapon" as the Senate's pawn then..."
"No!" Senri argued, raising his face, causing everyone to look at him in surprise. "Even now, you're worrying about someone," His eyes drifted over to Rima to point out how Takuma was worrying over her, "and staying by their side, aren't you?"
"It's not something that simple..." He looked on with surprise as Senri extended a hand towards the two females, who looked at Senri surprised.
"Aiko, Rima, if you're both worried, than stay behind together with Takuma and me."
Takuma let out a smile and said, "I like that honesty...but, to the both of you, as Vampires, and Aiko, as a Human, I want you all to understand the meaning of staying by Kaname's side."

"Looks like it's true what they say about the Purebloods' forming an alliance," Kaito stated as they arrived at the Kurans' residence.
"The Association is monitoring the situation closely," Zero observed, looking at his surroundings.
"After all," Kaito smirked, "they've sent two of the best Hunters to protect the Kurans' mansion." Zero rolled his eyes at his friend's egoistical antics as they headed towards the door, where Kaname was waiting.
"Kuran Kaname," Zero greeted coldly as they walked past him, into the mansion.
"I apologize that the mansion is stained with the smell of blood," Zero heard Kaname say, but paused when Kaname reached out and gripped his arm tightly, asking,
"You don't remember why you had to drink my poison, do you?" He then added, "You probably cannot recall many thoughts and memories too."
"Let go," Zero ordered, "My memory loss is a result of my injuries and a coma." Kaito glanced sadly at Zero, but hid it well. "My memory loss wonder hinder me from doing my duties."
"That's something I heard often. I see..." Kaname began, "If that's what you say, then I'm counting on you." He headed up the stairs, saying, "Before preparations are completed for the furnace where my life will be dissolved in, don't let your guard down."
Zero clutched his arm on the spot where Kaname grabbed him, his headache forming once again.
Jack then walked in, cheery as ever, as greeted the men with a wave, "What's up, Hunters!? I think it's time I formally introduce myself, since, you know, I did try to help Kaname kill you and stuff," Zero stared at the man with wide eyes, his head pounding harshly, the man's personality and actions reminding him of someone...Who? He looks like that girl though...What was her name again? He wondered briefly as he listened to the man continue to rant, "Sorry about that, anyway my name is Jack Chouko. Though here, I guess it'd be Chouko Jack. Not-so-much-of-a-pleasure to meet and please, take care of my dear friend, his sister, and my daughter! Kay? Now, follow me and I'll sure you where to guard."
Up with Kaname, he found Yuuki covered in the blankets in their room.
"Yuuki, how about showing yourself at the very least?" He suggested.
"No, rather than that, lets talk." She said, curled up in a ball. Kaname looked at her sadly and said,
"Yuuki..." She glanced at him and asked,
"The preparations are nearly complete, aren't they?"
"...Yeah," He answered slowly.
"Then how is it that you can act so normally?" She demanded, annoyed.
"That's the same to you, too." Kaname spoke as he walked towards her. He hovered over her as he bent over, "You're thinking of turning me into a human, aren't you?" He asked, causing her eyes to widen, and hugged her, "I won't let you...You're always doing brash things." And just like that, he scooped her up into his arms, blankets and all. He started to carry her out of the room and down the stairs, causing her to exclaim and question,
"Hey-Wait, where are you going!? Stop!"
Downstairs, Takuma placed down a cup of tea on the dining table and moved over to the window, smiling brightly down at Zero, suggesting, "Have some tea, don't just keep standing there."
"I'm sorry, but I'm not a guest, "Zero replied, "Let me down, there's no need for me to show my face."
Takuma heard Yuuki shouting and turned his head curiously,
"No! Let me down! Rawr!" Kaname paused what he was doing and looked down at her confused,
"Did you just roar at me?" Yuuki paused in her kicking and furrowed her brows,
"I think Amaya's rubbed off on me a little too much..." Kaname shook his head and spoke,
"Sorry, Kiryuu-Kun, my sister hasn't greeted you even though you're our bodyguard."
"I don't want to go~!" A voice whined childishly. "Hanabusa..."
"I get that you're tired, but we have to go."
Yuuki sat up slightly, slapping Kaname's hands when he didn't move, and turned her head to look at the newcomers who entered the room.
Kaname turned his head to look at the couple and greeted, "Amaya, Hanabusa." The couple stopped arguing and Hanabusa greeted, bowing his head,
"Kaname-Sama." Ooh...Tense meeting. Amaya swallowed as she stared at the brunette, unsure of what to say, but stuck with,
"Uh, what's up?" She gave an awkward wave. Nagamichi's death was a huge turning point for her, but with him alive, she was allowed to revert back to normal a little.
Yuuki remembered their earlier conversation and said, "No, it was rude of me. Please, take care of my brother." She looked at Amaya and Hanabusa and greeted them awkwardly, "Welcome. Now let's go Kaname," Kaname grabbed her arm, stopping her, and said with a slight smile,
"Since we're here, let's have some tea. Kiryuu-Kun too."
...
Well, this is awkward. Amaya thought, scooting closer to Hanabusa. She was sitting between him and Zero, Takuma got the single chair, and Yuuki and Kaname occupied the couch across from them, while her father for the single chair across from Takuma. ...and uncomfortable... She saw Kaname's look and could tell that he was planning to anger Yuuki.
Yuuki glanced at Kaname worriedly, seeing his look, and thought, He looks as though he's planning to anger me... Amaya then glanced at her father, her birth father, who was just smirking at her mischievously.
What's he planning...?
"How about letting them both go? They look uncomfortable." Zero suggested, noting the uncomfortable looks on the girls' faces.
"Do you not like him, or do you not like me?" Kaname asked Yuuki, while Hanabusa looked down to a worried Amaya. Yuuki growled,
"What I dislike...is this weird situation!"
"We're all just sitting here in silence and it's extremely awkward!" Amaya added, annoyed. Yuuki sighed,
"Do we even have the right to show ourselves before him?" She asked Kaname quietly, clutching the blankets tightly.
"Hey, firecracker, think you can hand me the teapot?" Jack asked his daughter, raising up his tea cup. Amaya raised an eyebrow confused but stood anyway,
"Uh, sure, I guess..." She headed over to the dining table and grabbed the teapot, heading over to her father. Zero stood, saying,
"I will be going back to patrol, you can do whatever you want." Amaya still made to pour the tea when her father gripped her wrist tightly and dug his nails into her, cutting it and making her bleed. She flinched,
"H-Hey!" She yanked her wrist away, putting it up to her mouth, "What was that for!?" She demanded angrily, glaring at him. Jack took the teapot from her hand with a shrug and grin,
"I wanted the teapot. You wouldn't hand it to me." Zero froze at the scent of pomegranates.
"Didn't mean you had to claw me!"
"Don't shout at your father." He said with narrowed eyes. Amaya growled back, pissed,
"You're not my father!" Jack stood then, pissed and hurt at the same time. Amaya started to rant, "A real father wouldn't do thing that would hurt his child, a real father wouldn't convince his child that her father-in-law, her fiance's father, was dead when he was actually alive! A real father wouldn't try and kill his daughter purposely and turn her whole life around with just a few cold words! A real father would care for his daughter, tell her the truth, and, oh, I don't know, maybe try not to kill her!?" Hanabusa had stood by then and made his way over to Amaya, grabbing her by the shoulders and pulling her away from Jack.
"Hanabusa, let go! I'm not done-"
"I'm sorry," She froze at Jack's words. What? "I'm sorry for everything. I was only doing those things on behalf of Kaname and Aliza...She's come up with a really stupid plan and I wanted to stop her. I'm not the best of father's, but...I needed you to hate me, so that by the time when you found out Aliza's plan, you would try to stop me."
Amaya was silent, as was everyone else in the room, who was watching the argument. She spoke after a few moments, "What do you mean by "Plan?" What's her plan?"
Jack gave her a rueful smile, "That, I can't tell you, sorry, Firecracker."
"And why not?" She demanded. (Is it just me, or am I making her act like a bitch right now?)
"'Cause then you might try to stop me." He said with a sad smirk.
"Amaya, let's sit back down..." Hanabusa suggested and lead the angered redhead back to the couch. She let him lead her there, irritated. She didn't stop him from drinking from her wrist though.
"I'm leaving..." Zero stated again and continued to walk, stopping once again when Kaname bit Yuuki. She gasped and her eyes moved to look at him alarmed.
"Kaname-!" Amaya just had an annoyed look on her face, her chin resting on her palm, her elbow on her knee, while Hanabusa drank calmly from her wrist. The cousins' both froze when they saw Zero moving his gaze from one to the other, and Jack felt his smirk grow.
Yuuki started to grow faint and pushed Kaname away from her neck, growling, "Kaname!"
"H-Hey, Hanabusa, that's enough..." He released her wrist, casting her a curious glance, and saw her clench her wrist, her gaze switching from Zero to himself repeatedly.
"Stop dragging him into our problems!" Yuuki ordered, eyes watering as she wrapped her arms around Kaname's neck, "To think that you're doing such a thing to..." She hugged him, "It's fine already...There's no way we can return to how it was." Not long after that, Yuuki stood and turned towards Zero, saying, "Hunter-San, please head back too, you can't stay in a place like this."
Zero turned his head and looked at the girl, saying, "I'm working under the Association's orders. It's be our loss if something were to happen to the next parent."
Amaya tensed and her grip on her wrist tightened, her head ducking down. She felt Hanabusa wrap his arms around her and pull him to him, her head resting against his chest.

Throwing one's heart into the furnace and giving that to them, Yuuki thought, sitting on Kaname's chest as he slept, a hand caressing his cheek. For the sake of the weak, one would continue to exist for a long time as the weapons that would be covered in Vampire's blood and dirt. Father, Mother, my adoptive father, Yori-Chan, Amaya, Aiko...I'm sorry. Yuuki thought as she placed a hand on Kaname's face, only to blink in surprise when Kaname reached up and grabbed her wrist, pulling it from his face.

"Zero," Kaito began, approaching the Hunter, "You're really getting fooled around by those people." Zero turned his head and glanced at Kaito confused,
"...What?" Kaito tried to explain,
"Well...forgetting is a solution, but are the type that would really be okay with this?" Kaito scoffed, "Memory loss? Don't mess with me, it isn't something like that, is it? They just got stolen away completely." His face went solemn, his eyes sad, "Get them back and let those girls know, and prove to me that I wasn't wrong." Kaito heard the swishing of trees and bushes and sensed a Vampire. He quickly pushed Zero out of the way, shouting, "Zero-!" Kaito was quickly knocked to the ground, his shoulder bleeding heavily.
The woman landed, sword clutched tightly in her left hand. She had dark skin, hair, and eyes, and wore a black trenchcoat. She scoffed, "First, I will make you two weapons of my Master."
Zero held Kaito sit up, asking worriedly, "Are you alright?"
Kaito clutched his shoulder and grunted, "It's pretty certain that Purebloods would attack this place..." He closed his eyes, feeling weak. Zero's eyes widened,
"Kaito!"
It was official.
The Kuran mansion was under attack.
X.X
Kaname sat up, staring Yuuki in the eyes, as he said, "Instead of continuing with the killing of the Purebloods, this is a much more humane and peaceful act. I thought you would let me agree to become the next parent. And to think that you're suddenly," He pulled her to him, embracing her, "talking about turning me into a human."
Yuuki was silent, listening as he spoke,
"Are you fine with that? To snatch the Humans' only hope of fighting against the Vampires?"
Just then, the scent of Kaito's blood wafted into the room, causing their eyes to widen, along with the scent of many, many Vampires.
An army of Vampires were waiting at their doorstep.
Yuuki and Kaname separated, Yuuki commenting, "I can sense a hugely, ominous aura approaching."
Kaname made to stand, ordering, "Yuuki, stay here. I'll go, they've sent lots of their servants here." Yuuki reached up and grabbed his arm, protesting,
"I'll go! You're their target!" Kaname placed a hand against the side of her face, smiling softly,
"Yuuki...Let me protect you." Yuuki felt tears prick her eyes at his statement.

"Kaito!" Zero called again, worried for his friend. Don't be dead, don't be dead... He could feel him breathing, but it didn't mean he wasn't worried.
"As expected of him, " Kaname's voice rang out. Zero turned his head to see the man walk by him, "He managed to prevent his vital organs from being hit in such a short amount of time." Zero's eyes were pained as he said,
"I don't need you to tell me anything." He lifted Kaito up and set him down on a ledge against the mansion, and stood next to Kaname, saying as he got out Bloody Rose, "I was just about to head first into battle, alone."
Kaname felt a smirk forming, "Really? And take so many on alone? Their bosses aren't even here yet."
Zero straightened his back, trying to appear taller, and said, "Yeah, so step back. I'll be fine."
"That doesn't sound right to me," Kaname argued calmly, "seeing how you let your comrade get hurt like that. I can only conclude that it was because you were distracted. Zero remembered Kaito's words to his memory loss and frowned, another headache forming. He place a hand to his, covering his right eyes, and muttered,
"Shut up..." What did Kaito mean by that? He then growled, aiming his gun at a Vampire, "I don't have time to listen to your sarcasm right now!" And pulled the trigger. And why am I leaving my back to "His" care? He wondered as the war begun.
