Viridian city
"Finally were here its been so long"
"no Tsuchi its been 4 Hours quit complaining" said König
"where is the nearest pokemon center" Kaze questioned
"that way" König pointed down the road "it's a big red building, not hard to miss"
Kaze and Tsuchi ran down the road but Mizu was sitting next to a pond
"you're not going to the pokemon center" König asked
"no i didnt battle besides it probably smells like latex and penicillin" she replied
"naw they have a food service and in the winter there is a roaring fire" Köing said
"Hey König, how many pokemon have you caught?" she questioned
"im not sure how many i caught but i think 10" he replied
"10?" she implied "someone of your age would have caught hundreds why do you have ten?"
"well when it comes to pokemon some people are skilled with a certain type, but for me i went with a few and made them strong enough to pull me through" he replied
"what ones do you have?" she asked
"i have Pidgeot, Bagon, Bisharp, Aggron, Garchomp, Roselia, Metagross, Zebstrika, Manetine, and Mareep" he replied
"cool i dont know what half of those are, but what can my pokemon evolve into?" she asked
"well you have an eevee it has 7 evolutions there is fire, water, electric, dark, psychic, ice, and grass, what are you interested in?"
"i dont know but the others are back can we get going i want to battle a gym"
König turned around to see Tsuchi and Kaze pushing each other while walking down the road "you to hurry up Viridian forest is a maze"
Viridian Forest
"well won't you look at that the forest is still teeming with pokemon" König exclaimed
"i want to catch a pokemon here what is there?" asked Kaze
"my pokemon will be stronger Kaze then i will beat you next time" Tsuchi announced
both trainers ran into the forest going in a circle to come back behind König and Mizu
"are you guys done yet the exit is about 3 leagues that way" König said
a big eyed butterfly came out of a tree and swooped in their direction
Tsuchi quick to thinking sent out shinx
"quick shinx use tackle"
The small blue and black cat flew in the air knocking down the butterfly
"GO POKEBALL" she screamed and threw a Pokeball
it swished twice then popped open
"freeeeeee" it fried and used poison powder on shinx
shinx jumped out of the way and use another tackle as commanded Tsuchi threw a pokeball and this time she caught it "YES I CAUGHT A NEW POKEMON" she pronounced
"dexter what is this pokemon?" she asked her Pokedex
Butter, the Butterfly Pokémon. Butterfree is the evolved form of Metapod. The scales covering its wings help it to shed water.
Tsuchi closed her Pokedex and stored both the Pokeball and it in her bag
"nice job maybe now you will be able to beat me" Kaze sneared
"will you two quit arguing whose best its getting obnoxious" Mizu demanded
"ill catch a better pokemon than you both" Kaze declare
They walked about 2 1/2 leagues when a beedrill came out but Kaze being quicker than Tsuchi sent out Charmander to use ember scorching the pokemon and catching it one throw
"thats how you catch a pokemon" he declared
while speaking Mizu had caught a Metapod without trying to causing Tsuchi and König laughed at Mizus small victory
"pika?" squeaked a small mouse behind Mizu
Mizu screamed and jumped up the tree at the sound. she looked back down at the pokemon which seemed injure and almost pleading
"awww" she said "its so cute and hurt"
Mizu remembered her talent for cooking, climbed down the tree and quickly made a meal for the small pokemon
she pushed the tray of food towards the pokemon
the pokemon tentatively crawled towards the food and sniffed. it quickly scarfed down the meal and looked back at Mizu pleading for more.
"aww, im sorry little guy i'm out of supplies and i meant to restock at Viridian city but i forgot" she apologized "come with me and i can get more, does that sound like a plan?"
"PIKA-CHU" it squeaked and jumped onto her head
"pikachu hmmm sounds kinda cute to me" and she rubbed the pokemons head
"well looks like you got a new friend" König said "it looks a little beaten up though. i guess we can run the last half league to Pewter city, sound good you guys?"
"ya" they replied
"then lets race" König said "3..2..1..GO!"
and with a dash he was running causing the rest to quickly catch up but he was at the end of the forest before the did.
"you look like you barely broke a sweat?" Tsuchi pondered
König just smiled and with a tip of his hat and a swish of his coat he entered the checkpoint
