Chapter 12

Liz had eventually calmed down enough and slowly made her way towards the door trying not to make a sound, if Red knew that she was up she would never be able to get to a phone. She knew that this would betray Red's trust but she needed her team to know that she was fine and was not kidnapped or dead if they think Red would go that far.

There was not a sound to be heard in the background and she sighed, Red had actually done one thing that Liz had told him to do and given her the space that she needed right now "OK Liz just grab the phone and go to your room and call Cooper and explain that you just needed a vacation for once."

Liz opened up the door and walked slowly to the living room where the phone was located and there was no sign of Red or Dembe. She was actually alone; Red has finally decided that she could be trusted by herself. She quickly grabbed the phone and saw that it was untraceable phone and smiled "Thank you for all of your caution Red...I'm not going to tell them the location we are at...I'm happy with you."

She quickly picked up a snack from the fridge and rand towards her room and shut the door and locked it just in case "OK here I go."

Liz slowly and with caution dialed her work number and the receptionist asked for her code "*******Mockingbird."

"Please hold why I contact Director Cooper."

Liz sighed and quietly walked towards her balcony door and opened the door to step outside for fresh air. She then poured herself a glass of that wonderful drink that Red had hooked her on. "Director Harold Cooper."

"Director Cooper, its Agent Keen I wanted to explain why I have been absent."

"Keen where have you been we have been searching all over for you! Are you alright, where is your location we will send a team out right now and free you as soon as possible."

"Sir this is why I was calling I am in no danger...I'm sort of on vacation right now and I know it was all of a sudden and..."

Right at that moment on the other side of the phone the conversation was no longer just with Harold Cooper it was with Ressler "Keen where are you I swear if Reddington..."

Liz snapped at him "Reddington did nothing to me, he just saved me and took me somewhere to recover..." she stopped at that before she said something that she would regret.

"Liz we are trying to help you out, we need your location. Reddington will not walk away from this..."

Liz yelled and raised her voice sharply "You will not hurt him! Ray is helping me recover and I will eventually return to my job until then you need to call off this search before you all put all of our lives in danger..." Liz snapped her mouth shut just realizing what she had just said and may end up on the run with Red for having something with a criminal.

Cooper raised his voice "Keen are you..."

But before he could finish she heard the door burst open and in stormed Red. He saw the phone in my hand and tilted his head at Liz and raised his hand "Lizzie please give me the phone."

Liz still having the phone up towards her ear and face heard Ressler yells "Keen...Liz we need answers and your location."

Red stepped close to her and wrapped one hand around her waist and the other took her phone from Liz and said "Donald there is no reason to shout the whole country can probably hear you...now let's discuss this like the adults we are and leave Lizzie alone she had nothing to do with this."

Red nuzzled his face into Lizzie neck keeping her in place so that she would not run away or not hear the conversation. He wantet her to be with him and hear everything always.

Sorry that it has been so long to update, I had a lot to think about and the direction that I'm heading in.
