Please review! You guys are the best!
Two month later, it was almost Christmas and they had been jam packed with cases. They were lucky if they got to sleep at home two or three nights a week. The day before Christmas, Elliot and Olivia finished up a case and were heading home. Olivia pulled out her phone as soon as they were out of the city. "Hello?" Bernie asked.
"Hey Bernie, it's Liv." Olivia said rubbing her eyes.
"Well hello dear, what can I do for you?" Bernie asked.
Olivia smiled. "Uh, Elliot and I just left the city. We should be there in thirty minutes."
Bernie looked around her house and saw that the kids were asleep. "Why don't you two just go home. The kids are asleep. You are coming out here tomorrow. Have a night where you can get a full night's rest."
"We are not going to impose." Olivia insisted.
"You are not imposing. The kids will be fine. If you come by, I will take you over my knee." She said turning off her kitchen light.
Olivia chuckled. "Well, I really don't want that. Are you sure it's okay?"
"Honey, it is fine. It's a miracle the kids are actually asleep considering tomorrow is Christmas." Bernie smiled pulling blankets over the kids before going into her room.
Olivia nodded and glanced at Elliot. She hit his arm when his eyes started to close. "Yeah, I guess that's a good idea. We may be lucky if we get home without falling asleep." She chuckled when Elliot stuck out his tongue. "Well, goodnight Bernie."
"Good night, dear." Bernie smiled before hanging up.
"What did Mom say?" Elliot asked turning onto a new lane.
Olivia yawned and cuddled into the seat. "She said that she would keep the kids for the night and we can pick them up tomorrow when we come." She smirked. "So, we get a night to sleep."
"To sleep?" Elliot asked, his grin growing.
"Yeah, we could sleep." Olivia said leaning over. She skimmed her lips along his ear. "All... night... long." She giggled when Elliot sped up. "I think you got a second wind."
Elliot nodded once. "Well, we haven't done anything since August. That was before Zack was born. We had to wait the six weeks, but all those cases came in and we were lucky if we saw our kids during the week."
Olivia chuckled. "You talk way too much when you want to get home." She closed her eyes and soon fell asleep in the car.
When they got home, Elliot woke Olivia up before they walked into the house. Once the front door closed, they both looked at each other. Before the blink of an eye, Elliot's lips descended onto hers as he rammed her into the front door. Her legs wrapped around his waist as her arms wrapped around his neck. Both moaned as soon as they deepened the kiss.
Olivia grabbed the collar of his jacket and started pushing it off roughly. He soon caught on and moved his arms behind him to pull at the cuffs. When his jacket fell onto the floor, he kicked it aside so he wouldn't trip on it later. "God, I missed this." He nearly growled fumbling with her jacket.
"I know." Olivia breathed. "Me too." She crashed her lips onto his and smiled when she felt his member joining their party. "I missed him too."
Elliot grinned and carried her up to their room, divesting them of clothes on the way there. He laid her on the bed and dropped down on top of her. "I love you, Olivia."
Olivia stared up into his eyes, cupping his cheek. He closed his eyes, leaning into her hand. "I love you too, Elliot." She kissed him as he pushed into her. The feeling of him blew her mind away. His body weight was held by his right hand while his left pulled her closer to him. Her mouth opened wider to allow him more access.
Elliot felt her buck into him, telling him to move. Her scent waffled up his nose, making him groan. His mouth traveled down her jaw line as she gripped his back. Pulling him even closer to her. Her skin rubbed against his as he moved over her, sending chills up and down his spine. The warmth she was giving off soaked into his skin, making them both sweat to the point of drenched. Her hair was sticking to her forehead. He brushed it out of the way and held her neck as he kissed her.
The next morning, Olivia woke up with a smile on her face. She turned over to find Elliot playing on Dickie's gameboy. "What are you doing?" She asked scooting closer to him to see what he was doing.
"I'm beating the rat lord. What does it look like I'm doing?" Elliot chuckled. He thumb pressed hard into one of the buttons. "Why won't this guy die? It'd be so much easier if I could just get a really large mouse trap."
"What is this game?" Olivia asked concerned as to why her son had a game where he could kill things.
Elliot paused the game and looked at her. "Ninja Turtles. Dickie and John both gave this five stars for me to play." He played the game and continued to try and kill the huge rat in a purple suit."
Olivia furrowed her eyebrows. "I thought the rat was their friend."
"That's a different rat." Elliot said shaking his head. "Yes! He's dead. Now, I have to move onto planet Mars."
Olivia chuckled. "Later. We haven't seen the kids in four days. This is the longest we've ever been away from them." She pecked his lips. "So, you can shower with me or play your game and wait to take yours when I'm done." She got out of the bed and laughed when she felt Elliot behind her, pulling her towards the bathroom.
When they arrived at Bernie's house, they hurried inside and smiled when they saw their kids playing in the living room. Bernie came over carrying Zack. "Hey baby boy!" Olivia almost squealed taking her son. "Mommy missed you so much. Yes, she did."
"Mommy!" Kendle yelled running towards them.
"Hey!" Olivia grinned, squatting down to hug him. She felt like she was going to cry, she was so happy to see her kids. "I missed you."
"Daddy!" Summer squealed running at Elliot. Elliot grinned picking her up. Her arms wrapped around his neck. "I missed you."
"We missed you too." Elliot breathed kissing her head. "Tonight, I am going to make up for all the goodnight songs I missed, okay?" Summer nodded. He smiled when he felt Dickie's arms around him. "Hey buddy! How are you?"
"Uncle Joe said he would take me sledding today." Dickie smiled. He looked in on his three uncles watching TV. "They are watching Christmas Vacation right now. There's a guy named Sparky."
Olivia chuckled. "That's a good movie." She kissed his cheek before standing up. She looked over Elliot's shoulder to find Summer cuddling into his chest. "Hey Murmur!"
Summer grinned and kissed Olivia's nose. "Hi Mommy."
Elliot smiled and kissed Olivia. "You gotta love life."
