Okay guys, as you see the title of this chapter, it's called 'Their Story' because this is a chapter which does not directly tie with TWOF. This is going to be about Sunstreaker, Sideswipe and their mate (my OC) Goldstreak. This is a more detailed written part of how the 'Cons offlined the twins' mate. You will see the twins more emotional here because they already have a mate, so it's kinda normal. But once you get to see my Sunstreaker/OC story, I can guarantee you that you'll love Goldstreak. And no, you may not ever use her unless I approve so.

And in this chapter, keep in mind that there are NO factions (no Autobots or Decepticons, all are one) and the War is just about to break out, so Sunny, Sides and Goldstreak have no idea who the Decepticons are and the trio aren't Autobots, but they have good fighting skills. So pretty much, everyone's a neutral.

That, and somehow the Transformers celebrate birthdays here. Don't ask how or why, they just do. Like us humans.

And just one more important thing in this chapter, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe and Goldstreak are mates, all of them. In the Sunstreaker/OC story, the OC is the same, but she will only be bonded with Sunstreaker. Now we can move on.

"Normal speech"

"Bond speech"

Chapter 82, here we go:

The guests and hosts were up and partying, making their quarters in Iacon shine and glow with the lighting within.

Everything was perfect. High grade was everywhere, the music was blasting progressive tunes and everyone was having a great time. Jokes and laughs went freely from one mech to another, the bass was booming through the speakers, vibrating through the Cybertronian bodies in a pleasant way.

Even Sunstreaker seemed to be smiling, something that was a first to the Autobots who knew him as a morose and skillful comrade. "Do you think she put on that expensive wax we bought her for her birthday?" Sideswipe said, nudging his brother with his elbow. "I know she told us she doesn't like expensive things, but…"

"It was her birthday, Sides, we would have gotten here the best wax there was." Sunstreaker replied, looking around the room for her. "Where is she anyway?"

"I don't know, but don't worry, she wouldn't forget." Sideswipe assured him, pouring more high grade into his and his brother's cube, the pink liquid glowing in the already well lit room. "I know she wouldn't."

Sunstreaker repressed a retort as the door was suddenly knocked on. He opened the bond with his brother, "I'll get it." He said through the bond, walking to the door with his cube of high grade in hand. He opened the it and surprise was evident on his normally non-emotional face, as he saw his mate shining in the light, holding a large box in her hands.

He let her in as he took the box from her hands and put it on a high table along with his cube of high grade and turned around. Goldstreak found her way in front of him, curling her finger under his chin and slowly bringing it down to hers. "Happy birthday, sweetspark." She said calmly, his lips meeting hers in a soft kiss. Their tongues slipped from one mouth to the other, as Sunstreaker had no trouble displaying his emotions anymore.

Goldstreak's POV

"Sides is waiting for you." He said, stretching his arm to snatch his cube of high grade and swinging a golden arm around my waist, gently pulling me closer to him. As we walked through the room, he brought his head to whisper into my audios. "I see you used that wax me and Sides got you."

I smiled, turning to him and whispering back. "I have to be the shiniest thing around here, don't I?" I teased.

"After me, of course." He teased back, smirking as we got to Sideswipe. His face brightened when he saw me.

"I'm your mate, I should be shinier than you." I smirked.

He rolled his eyes, but a smile tugged at his lips. "That's debatable."

"You're finally here!" Sides said as Sunstreaker let me go from his hold. I walked up to Sideswipe, locking my arms around his neck, pressing my body against his as the vibration of the music transpired through us.

"And miss this?" I teased. "You did a pretty good job." I said, commenting on the party. He brought his head down to me, planting a gentle kiss on my lips.

"I'll get you high grade." Sunstreaker said through our bond, the bond Sideswipe, he and I shared the moment we mated.

"I don't drink, Sunny." He even let me call him Sunny, after I saved his aft years ago from Insecticons.

"A little high grade is just for the fun, Gold. Besides, it's our birthday." Sideswipe pushed. "Do you want to ruin our birthday?" he said in a higher pitched voice, bringing his head close to mine.

I sighed, knowing that with these two, they'd have it their way anyway. I brought up my index finger. "One cube. Just one." I said as a grin spread on Sideswipe's face as he came closer to mine, kissing me one more time. "You lovable loon." I said as he winked.

"So what's in the box?" he asked, walking back to the box as I followed suit.

"Here's the 'grade." Sunstreaker came from my right side, handing the cube filled with pink liquid to me.

"Happy birthday, guys." I toasted as they brought their cubes to mine, clinging one against the other and drinking it in unison.

The high grade slipped quickly down my throat making me scrunch the plates on my face, as the burning sensation spread throughout my whole body. Sideswipe laughed at me as I tried to make the aftertaste go away, but instead it stuck to my throat.

"Frag, that's good high grade." I said, managing to open my eyes. "You know I don't take high grade too good." I looked at Sideswipe, who seemed to be in the process of calming himself. "And you know what happens when I get drunk on high grade." I glared at him. We accidentally interfaced when I was drunk.

Sideswipe snorted. "I know what happens, so why do you think I want to get you drunk?" he teased, fully knowing he wanted to interface after his birthday, with the benefit of me being intoxicated.

"Ah, so you're planning ahead, good to see you're using that processor of yours." I mocked, turning my head away, seeing him trying to kiss his way up to me. His lips landed on my neck, almost melting me to the ground. "Go see what's in the box." I reminded.

He turned around with his brother, as the two of them gently ripped the box's exterior and unveiled their present. "I honestly didn't think you would make this." Sunstreaker said with a smile.

After seeing what was in the box, Sides turned around and hugged me. "This is great!" he said, gesturing to the three story cake I made them. It wasn't much, but then again I didn't have many options. They owned all the best wax and shampoos there were for taking care of their paint, so I knew that wouldn't do them much as gifts. So I did the one thing we all could enjoy; a tasty energon cake.

"Go ahead, eat it." I said, gesturing towards the cake as Sideswipe brought up his sword from his servo. "Not with that, you dim spark." I said as he retreated his sword. "I put something else in the box, too." I walked over to Sunstreaker, holding my hand around his waist.

Sideswipe rummaged through the box as he found a small knife, ideal for cake slicing. "You're an angel, you know that?" Sunstreaker said, murmuring into my ear. "You didn't have to do any of this. Your presence alone would have been enough."

I shook my head. "Today is a very special day."

He pressed his forehead against my mine. I knew he had agreed with me.

"Hey, where's the rest of the drinks?" A guest from the far side of the room yelled through, making the twins look up at the mech. "I can't find 'em anywhere."

"Sunny, where'd you put the 'grade?" Sideswipe asked, looking around. "I don't see it either."

"No idea, I thought you moved it." He shrugged as he moved away, making me lose my hold of him.

"I didn't." Sideswipe protested as both he and Sunstreaker walked to the mech, as I looked at them from the distance with a smile on my face. I had loved them so much. But I never said the 'L' word. It just seemed to be a huge leap, rather than a simple step in our relationship.

I quietly sighed, leaning on the wall as I put my cube of high grade down on the table where the cake was. I wouldn't drink this. I was carrying.

The thought made me smile as my hand slowly drifted to my abdominal area. The sparkling had just moved from my sparkcase and sank into my abdomen. It was going to grow its protoform there.

I looked at my abdominal area, caressing it as the thoughts of being a mother entered my mind, and the sparking having two incredible dads.

A golden hand laid on mine, just like that. I knew it was Sunstreaker, without looking up at him. "You alright, babe?" he asked, his possessiveness gone. "Is my sparkling alright?" There it was again.

"We're both fine, Sunny." I brought my head up. I had a little bump in my abdominal area, and I loved it. "Did you find the 'grade?" I asked.

"No." he said, his hand locked over mine, as if he was keeping me and the sparkling safe in his hold.

"Sunny, get your aft over here!" Sideswipe yelled from the other part of the room, most probably still searching for that 'grade.

Sunstreaker groaned as he rolled his eyes, but didn't turn his back towards me yet. "I'll be back soon, the incompetent idiot needs my presence."

"Yes, your highness, it would seem so." I smiled.

He landed a kiss on my lips, spreading love through the bond. "Be good." He said on purpose, batting a finger at me. I laughed heartedly at his actions and he spoke up once more. "You should do that more."

"Do what?"

"Laugh." He said, looking into my eyes with his beautiful electric blue ones. He really meant what he was saying.

"Will do." I nodded with a smile and then gestured with my helm towards Sideswipe. "Go help your brother."

I pushed myself off the wall as Sunny went to aid his brother. Usually I would go into the center and be the heart of a party, but those days were over for me, ever since I found out I was carrying, I had been taking it easy.

Suddenly, the power went out. The speakers shut down and so did the primary lighting. The secondary ones immediately fired up, to keep us all well lit, using the generator of the building.

The bond opened quickly, "Are you alright? We don't know what caused the power shortage." Sideswipe said over the bond.

"I'm fine, and you two?"

"We're good, but we finally found that high grade." I huffed air through my nose and rolled my eyes. They loved that high grade.

Suddenly, as the whole place had become quiet, we heard some rustling from outside. The door blew open, just like that, sending metal shrapnel over the guests, as four large figures stood at the door, their enormous shadows tracing on the ground.

My spark jumped, beating erratically, trying to figure out who this was. From their shadows, I could see the outlines of guns.

Guns?

As they stepped into the room, the first thing I noticed were weird, sharp purple emblems on their chests and arms. They wore them proudly as their guns rose at us.

"Any of you slag scums move and you're dead." The mech said slyly, evil dripping from his words and hanging in the air, the tense atmosphere freezing all of us in place. The three other figures backed him up, their weapons cocking as the light in their cannons fired up. The killshot was about to arrive and someone was going to take it, no doubt about it.

I can't have Sunstreaker and Sideswipe die. No.

Not now. Not today.

I opened the bond quickly. "None of us is getting out alive. They didn't barge in here for nothing."

"We kinda know that, but don't worry, Sunny will get you to safety before these scrapheaps even know it."

"No. I have another idea." I said, already preparing my swords to slide out at any moment. "I'll be the diversion, you get the rest to safety."

"Goldstreak, don't you dare move-" I shut off Sideswipe from the bond, took a stance and prepared myself to pounce, waiting for the right moment for the purple insignia freak to look away.

And just when he did, I jumped at him, my sword sliding out from under my wrist as I mercilessly jabbed it into his throat.

Then everything became filled with shrieks, gunshots and crackles. It was so loud and so frightening, but I couldn't let myself fall into the fear, I had to fight it. My twins had to get out alive.

As I jumped off the dead mech, I lunged myself at the second one as I saw in the corner of my optic that Sunstreaker and Sideswipe were battling with the rest of them as the guests scattered around, running towards the exit in the back of the room.

And just as I got into hand in hand combat, the purple insignia freak jabbed his weapon at me. I pushed it away as I punched him in the face, landing a kick to his abdomen. But what I didn't see was his gun that was placed back on my sparkcase as he delivered the random kill shot to me.

I froze as the pain registered, a burning sensation that was right next to my spark, as I felt my spark cracking and falling apart. The twins shouted through the bond, their surprise and anguish filling whatever was left of my spark, but I couldn't respond to them. The bond started to disappear.

I was falling to the ground, without any way of lessening the pain of my fall. I hit the ground hard as the dust underneath me rose and I could do nothing but stare at the ceiling above me as I felt my spark fading away, my body temperature leaving me slowly, my systems failing instantly.

What seemed minutes had passed like seconds, as I felt warm touches, and looked to who it was.

It was Sunstreaker, his blue optics filled with tears, something I had never seen. "Don't worry, you're going to be fine babe, help is on the way." He said with his voice shaking, grabbing my hand and holding it to his spark. "Please Goldstreak, please be fine." He clenched his optics shut as he bowed his head down, his tears leaving traces of brilliant blue on his gold paint.

How it pained me to see him like this. Him of all the people I knew. The only one I thought wouldn't shed a tear ever in his life and there he was, trembling, pleading that I wouldn't fade away.

But I could do nothing. If my spark hadn't shattered when the mech shot me, it would have shattered now, seeing how desperate he had been, trying to save me.

"Sunny…" I choked out, "…Sides..?" I tried pulling him towards me, with as little strength I had. He came closer, kneeling beside me.

A red hand caressed my cheek on my left side as I looked to the left. Sideswipe had been there, too. "We're here, Gold. Don't worry, we're not going to leave you." He said, his eyes filled with energon tears, just as Sunstreaker's had been.

Sideswipe picked me up in his arms, cradling me to his spark as my forearm rested over my hip. I managed to get my hand up to his cheek and cup it. Everything hurt in my entire body. Everything. But I couldn't just let the pain kill me.

I looked up at him as he looked down. He had never been so serious and sad. I didn't want that sad face to be the last one I see. I smiled at him, as small as the smile was.

The end of his lip twisted upwards, as a form of a sad smile, but a smile nonetheless.

I knew had no longer than a couple of hours to live, at most. Sideswipe handed me to Sunstreaker, so that he could hold me one last time. Sides moved to Sunny's side, Sunstreaker holding me in his arms, while Sideswipe's hand held mine.

I looked into their optics, their tear filled optics. "I love you." I said, believing in the words. "I love you so much…" my optics started to fill themselves with tears before I could stop them. I didn't want to lose them, even though it was me who was going to the Well of AllSparks.

They didn't even look at each other to confirm their words, said in unison. "And we you, Gold."

Sunstreaker leaned forwards to touch his forehead with mine, sighing and trying to calm himself. "I love you, Goldstreak." He opened his eyes. "Please don't go."

My audios started to malfunction. Hearing had become limited, for it all seemed stifled, whatever they were saying. I could hear the clear words of compassion and love and I was glad that I did, before my audios started to fail again.

"I know... I'm not going to make it…" I trailed off as the energon tears gathered in my optics, falling down the sides of my face, tracing the blue over my cheeks. Sideswipe stroked my hand assuring me I will alright. "But you two made my life worth living." My voice crackled, time running out. "Please don't mourn me... we'll see each other in the Well of AllSparks." I looked at them one last time.

I felt my optics losing their functionality, my body refusing my commands. The time had come for me to go. "Wait for us there." Sides said. "I love you." He leaned over to give me a one last kiss before I had faded away. Sunstreaker did the same as the last feelings of love transpired through the fading bond, before everything had gone black.

Yeah, the life of the Transformers is pretty tragic. I'm not going to go into the details, but I don't think anyone on this planet has their life extremely easy. You have to put some effort in it if you want to make it.

The next chapter will most definitely go back to TWOF, where the Autobots are supposed to get on the Xanthium. Though I think the previous chapter had been sadder, don't you think?
