2007- February

"It's Valentine's Day and we're spending it by going to a crime scene." Olivia yawned from the passenger seat. She looked at Elliot lazily and smiled. "Eh, I get to spend it with you."

"Aren't we lucky?" Elliot asked with a grin. He kissed her knuckles before pulling up to the curb. "By the way, Momma said that Jordan and Cameron are taking Mickey and the kids to the zoo today." They both got out of the car, heading for the building.

Olivia's eyes widened. "Jordan and Cameron are taking our four kids plus their one year old son? Are they sure they can handle that? We can barely handle our four kids and we've been parents for eleven and a half years."

Elliot shrugged. "I'm guessing they are bringing someone else. Maybe Joe and Marcy are going with."

"They'd be bringing Becky with them. That's another child." Olivia chuckled. "At least, Dickie and Summer will see the monkeys."

"Those two are monkeys." Elliot grinned before they got to work.

That night, they drove out to Bernie's to pick up the kids. Cragen let some of them go home early for the holiday. When they walked in, Zack, Kendle, Mickey, and Jordan were in the living room watching TV. Elliot and Olivia walked into the kitchen to find Bernie and Cameron talking at the table. "Hey ladies! How was your day?" Elliot asked as he sat down on a bar stool, Olivia sitting on his lap.

"We were just talking about that?" Bernie smiled.

Cameron looked at them with a tired expression. "I don't know how you guys handle four kids everyday. You are constantly making sure they are there."

Olivia chuckled. "Well, they are our kids so it's easier to ease your way into it." She looked around the room. "Where is Dickie and Murmur?"

"Uh, they are up in your guys' old room. I think they're watching a movie." Bernie said, trying to remember where her two oldest grandchildren were.

"Okay, I'll go check on them." Olivia said before getting up. She pecked Elliot's cheek before walking upstairs and down the hallway. She opened the door, that was all too familiar to her, and saw her two oldest on the bed watching the television screen on the dresser. Dickie was laying his stomach, his head resting on his arms and turned to the left so he could watched the TV. Summer was laying on her back, her head resting on Dickie's back. "Hey guys!"

"Mommy!" Summer and Dickie grinned before she came over and sat with them.

Olivia wrapped her arms around her kids before kissing their heads. "What are you two watching?"

Summer leaned back into her mother, playing with her nails. "Jaws."

Olivia's eyes widened. "What is it with you guys and watching things your father and I don't want you to watch?" She turned off the TV. "Why don't you two watch Barbie or Thomas?"

"That was for when we were little." Dickie said rolling his eyes. "I'm going to be in middle school next year. Mom, I need to watch these things so I can talk about them with my friends."

"You don't need to." Olivia laughed. "Should we head home? I bet Daddy would love to watch a movie."

Summer smiled. "I bet he would." She got off the bed and hurried out of the room, heading downstairs.

Dickie rolled his eyes. "She is such a Daddy's girl."

Olivia chuckled and ruffled his hair. "And, you are a Mamma's boy." She smiled when he kept quiet. "Come on. Your father and I need sleep." She stood up and rolled her eyes when Dickie climbed onto her back for a piggy back ride. "You're not going to be able to do this much longer."

"I know. That's why I'm savoring it now." Dickie grinned and kissed her cheek. "Love you Mamma."

"Love you too, babe." Olivia smiled as she walked downstairs. She walked into the living room and smiled when she saw Zack and Kendle on the couch with Jordan, still. Cameron was holding Mickey while Bernie stood beside her. Elliot was standing by the far wall, carrying Summer. He was talking to her about something that made her daughter smile widely. Right now, life was good.

"Happy birthday Murmur!" Olivia grinned seeing her daughter come in on Elliot's shoulders.

"Hi Mommy!" Summer smiled before Elliot put her down. "I'm in double digit territory now."

Olivia chuckled, hugging her daughter. "I know. You are my little ten year old." She grabbed a plate and handed it to her daughter. "I made you your favorite."

Summer took the plate before pecking her mother's lips. "Thank you Mommy!" She went to the table with her egg sandwich in hand.

Elliot wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed the shell of her ear. "Morning gorgeous!" He purred in her ear. She giggled, glancing at her daughter. Her attention was fully on her breakfast. His body was flush against hers from behind. "What did you make for me?"

"I made four kids for you." Olivia chuckled before turning in his arms and kissing him. She gave him a seductive smile before grabbing a white apron. "I thought you could cook this morning." She wrapped her arms around his waist so she could tie the apron. She grabbed a different plate with another egg sandwich on it before joining her daughter at the table.

Elliot looked down at the apron to see the green words. Kiss the cook. Love the Irish. He grinned at Olivia. "Where did you find this?"

"The mall." Olivia said simply, biting into her sandwich. She turned when she saw her boys walk in. "Well, good morning. I didn't think you guys would be up for another hour."

"It's Murmur's birthday. We couldn't wait to give her the gift we got her." Kendle smiled sweetly before Dickie put Summer's gift on the table.

"When did you get Summer's gift?" Olivia asked, furrowing her eyebrows.

Zack rolled his four year old eyes. "Hello?! Grandma!" He climbed into the chair next to Summer, across from his mother.

Everyone chuckled at Zack before Summer took the wrapped package into her hands. "Can I open it?"

"Why not?" Olivia said, licking her lips and wiping her hands.

"Wait a minute!" Elliot suddenly shouted. He hurried over and took the gift, shaking it slightly. He handed it back to her. "It's safe. Your brothers could've pulled a trick on you there."

Summer giggled before opening the gift. She grinned when she pulled out a stuffed animal. "Thank you guys!"

Olivia and Elliot both rolled their eyes. Summer had too many stuffed animals. She was starting to get up in the eighties or nineties. "Honey, don't you have this one?" Olivia asked.

"No, I don't have this one." Summer said shaking her head. She kissed the stuffed St. Bernard's head. "I'm going to go show him to Beethoven." She got off her chair and walked into the living room. "Bee!" That's when they heard the rumbling of Beethoven running down the stairs.

"Beethoven is a Summer's boy." Elliot chuckled, flipping an egg over.
