"Elliot, I love you." Olivia smiled lazily as she laid in the hospital bed.
Elliot chuckled. They had just given her the epidural and her mood had changed dramatically. "I love you too, baby. The drugs are really working for ya, aren't they?"
Olivia giggled. "Yeah, we should get some for the house. This would work wonders on you when you get shot again." She looked at him when he gave her a weird look. "Honey, with your record, you are bound to get shot again."
"Okay." Elliot nodded before kissing her head. "Becca just texted me. The kids are her are going to come in the morning to see the babies." He sat down, facing her. "She said they are running around in excitement."
"Awww! How sweet!?" Olivia grinned before leaning back in the mattress. She slid her hand into Elliot's. "We're going to have twins."
Elliot smiled at her before kissing her hand. "I know." He put a hand on her stomach before kissing it. "You could not make me happier."
Hours past and they were in the delivery room, Olivia was gripping both of Elliot's hands and he kneeled behind her on the bed. The doctor smiled at them. "I think you guys are going have the first twins of the year. You ready?"
Olivia nodded through a groan. "They certainly are." She said nodding towards her stomach.
The doctor smiled lightly. "Okay, one, two, three, push!"
Elliot felt her back push into his chest as she growled through the pain. Her fingers clung to his palms, her nails digging into his skin. "C'mon baby, you're doing great!" He kissed her temple and smiled a half an hour later when they had their two new baby boys.
The next morning, Rebecca and Scott walked in with Dickie, Summer, Kendle, and Zack. They all slowly walked over to the new parents. Olivia was smiling as she looked down at one of her newborn sons. She looked up at Elliot as he carried their other little one. "Hey guys!" She grinned quietly, being aware of her sleeping sons.
"Hey Mamma!" Dickie smiled before going over and kissing her cheek. He looked down at the new additions in their family. "They both look chubby."
"Yeah, they are." Olivia chuckled, ruffling her oldest son's hair. "They both weighed more than nine pounds."
"Ow!" Rebecca breathed, grimacing at the thought.
Elliot laughed at his sister as his kids carefully sat on the large hospital bed. Scott came over and put a hand on his brother's shoulder. "Congrats little brother!" He looked down at his new nephews. "I guess they take after Elliot in the hair department."
"Hey!" Elliot defended.
Olivia chuckled. "It becomes Elliot." Elliot smiled at her. "If they don't have hair in high school, I'm blaming you though. You are losing more hair every day." He rolled his eyes.
Zack looked at his little brothers. "How'd they get out of your belly?"
All the adults froze as Summer chuckled at her brother. Kendle smiled before Dickie spoke up. "You'll learn when you're older, Zack."
"Thank you." Olivia mouthed to her brother before kissing his head.
"Hey, what are their names?" Kendle asked, leaning closer to his father.
"Well, I'm holding Oliver and Mommy is holding Eli." Elliot smiled looking at their two sons.
"Ah, who named who?" Rebecca asked.
Scott rolled his eyes. "I can take a good swing at that." He pointed to Elliot. "He named Elliot and she named Eli."
Elliot just smiled as he nodded. "We decided that we would have our two youngest be named after each other." He grinned at Olivia.
"So, no more little Stabler's for you two?" Scott asked.
Olivia chuckled. "As much as I love being pregnant, I am happy with our family. We decided Eli and Oliver would be it. We've got six kids. That's more than I ever thought I would have."
"I think that's more than we ever thought you two would have." Rebecca smirked. She stepped closer to Olivia and hugged her shoulders. "I still remember those days after school when we would sit and talk while Elliot had football practice."
"Oh God! That was a long time ago, but it doesn't seem like it." Olivia smiled. She looked at her daughter to see the gleam of happiness in her eyes. "What do you think Murmur?"
Summer ran a hand through her hair. "I'm surrounded by boys. As Daddy says, I'm one of the guys."
"You and me both, Murmur. You and me both." Olivia chuckled, kissing her daughter's head.
September
"Oh my God! I can't believe Dickie is in high school." Olivia groaned as she stood in the kitchen with Elliot beside her. "Dickie is a freshman. Summer is in the sixth grade. Kendle is in the fifth grade and Zack is in kindergarten." She looked at her two youngest sons in her husband's arms. "You guys have to promise Mommy that you will not grow up so fast."
Eli and Oliver giggled before hiding their faces in Elliot's shoulders. He chuckled at them. "I think that's their way of saying dream on."
Olivia laughed before pecking Elliot's lips. "If you keep saying that, they are going to start."
"Okay, the freshman is here!" Dickie said holding up his hands and turning in a circle, showing off.
"Wow, you look snazzy." Elliot grinned.
"Thank you." Dickie nodded. He was wearing jeans and black sneakers. He had a black t-shirt under a red plaid button up shirt. "I can impress the ladies with my extreme hotness."
Olivia quirked an eyebrow at her son. "Have you been listening to your father too much?"
Dickie smiled before Summer came walking in. "Well, don't we look beautiful?" Elliot grinned looking at his daughter. She had a pair of jeans and a gray, glitter-covered shirt.
"Thank you Daddy." She leaned up on her tip toes and kissed Elliot's nose. "It's the first day. I have to look good."
"Oh, I think someone has been listening to Mamma." Elliot smirked looking at his wife.
Olivia shrugged, licking peanut butter off of her thumb. "I know nothing about it." She looked at her daughter and kissed her head. "Did aunt Alex buy you that?"
"Yep, I promised her I would wear something she bought me on the first day of school. But, I'm wearing my teal shirt tomorrow." Summer said, sitting at the counter with her brother.
"I love that shirt on you. It makes you looks so grown up." Olivia smiled before handing her kids their toast. "Where are your little brothers?"
"They are watching Jimmy Neutron." Dickie told his mother. "They had breakfast already."
Elliot and Olivia furrowed their eyebrows. "They did?" He asked.
"Yeah, Murmur and I were up and they said they were hungry. We made them breakfast. Kendle had Apple Jacks and Zack had eggs." Dickie said simply. "Murmur and I's show ended so it wasn't a problem."
"You made eggs for your brother?" Olivia asked before looking at the stove, finding a pan on the stove. "When did you learn how to do that?"
Dickie smiled. "Are you forgetting that we see Grandma everyday?"
Elliot chuckled. "That explains a lot of things."
Later, Dickie and Summer got off the bus to the high school/ middle school. It was all one building. William and Carmela walked over before Dickie kissed Carmela's head. "Since when are you two dating?" William asked as he wrapped his arm around Summer's shoulders.
"Probably around the same time you started dating my sister this past summer." Dickie smirked as he wrapped his arm around Carmela's waist. She leaned into him with a grin.
"That's good enough for me." William chuckled before he kissed Summer's cheek. "I'll see you after school."
Dickie sighed. "I should probably go too." He leaned down to Carmela's ear. "I'll see you later."
Carmela smiled Summer and her watched them walk into the high school. "Who knew I would end up dating my best friend's brother?"
"I didn't." Summer said raising her hand. Both girls chuckled before walking to the middle school doors.
