Rule Number 31 chimichanga!: Don't push any shiny buttons.

Sometimes, Batman wondered why he even bothered with the Justice League. He had always been a lone wolf type of man and didn't really need constant back-up when on missions. And if he didn't need that, ever, why did he put up with these idiots? Why he allow himself to be roped into a mission with Flash, Green Arrow, and Superman, the three most idiotic people he had ever met?

Usually, he wouldn't think about his teammates and just focus on accomplishing the mission he had been given.

But he wasn't afforded that luxury now that he was bound to Superman's back while red sun light shined down on both of them. Green Arrow and Flash were both still free and trying to save their teammates, but were doing so in the dumbest manner Batman had ever seen in his life.

"What happens if I press this button?" Flash asked the crazed mastermind known as the Brain, who audibly sighed, even through his computer generated voice.

At least Batman wasn't the only one suffering.

"These are my foes? Batman, I would have expected better from a team led by you." Brain sighed and Batman growled at him.

"Hey, this is a shiny button, Flash! Let's press it!" Green Arrow gasped as he looked down at a button that had a label right above it that clearly read 'WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH!'.

Green Arrow and Flash were the worst combination to possibly have when lives were at stake.

"Let's! It's not we have anything to lose! Bats and Supes are captured and we're probably going to be taken next!" Flash smiled broadly and Brain yelled in anger.

"Don't touch that, you ignorant buffoons!"

It was too late.

If not for the ex-Young Justice team having trailed behind the adults to catch them in an act of stupidity and punish them, all four heroes would have died because of the two blondes stupidity.

Once Rocket had released the four heroes from the bubble she had formed around them and Robin and M'gann had checked them over for injuries, Kid Flash smacked both his uncles over the head.

"What were you two thinking?" The red head growled, immediately making both heroes look down at the floor.

"You could have died! And then we'd never get reinstated as a team!" Robin scolded, crossing his arms as he stood in front of both heroes. "You cannot allow your stupidity to overrun your logic at times like this!"

Batman stood off to the side as the ex-team continued scolding both blondes and couldn't help but smirk softly. Even though he had almost died, he could readily admit the sight of Green Arrow and Flash being scolded by the very teens that had almost killed them on various other occasions was very amusing.

Rule #32: If we can't unleash Martha Kent on Superman, neither can you!

"Ma! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Clark Ken cried out as he held his hands up to protect himself from his mother's blows.

"Clark Jonathan Kent! I thought I had raised you better! Of all the things you could have ever done to me, your mother, that would be deceitful and painful, you decide to keep your clone from me?! And you ignore him!? Have your father and I not taught you anything?!" Martha Kent roared as she smacked her son with her lead rolling pin, a jokeful gift from Oliver Queen from a few years ago.

The ex-Young Justice Team stared at the sight between the mother and son with wide eyes, all shocked by what they were witnessing.

Black Canary, on the other had, was smirking as she stood with her arms crossed with Hawkgirl right beside her.

"What... What have you done..." Wally whispered, pale and scared.

"He deserved it, Wally." Black Canary sighed, "Would you kids like to go for some ice cream?"

"Yeah!"

Immediately their worry for Superman was replaced by excitement over going for ice cream with the two superpowered women.

Rule #33: Zeta Teleportation is supposed to help you save the Earth. It's not to go on vacation.

"To the Bahamas we go!" Green Arrow whooped as he stood in front of the teleporter with Vigilante to his left and Booster Gold to his right.

"This is gon' be all kinds o' fun!" Vigilante smiled broadly as he tightened his grip on his suitcase.

"You guys ready for the best time of your lives?" Booster asked as he prepared the machine.

But, instead of starting up like it was supposed to, the Zeta Station remained shut off.

"What in tarnation?" Greg softly asked himself, going to examine the machine, only to be stopped when Deadpool suddenly appeared in front of the three.

The mercenary was wearing a maid suit. None of the men questioned it, though.

"I was sent by the kids to remind you that you're supposed to be responsible and not abuse of the Zeta teleportation." The man sighed, as if he was annoyed to just be there. "Listen, would you guys mind still trying to do it? I've been itching to use my guns again."

None of the men wanted to help Deadpool's needs, so they just walked away before they really got punished by the ex-Young Justice.

Rule #34: Superpowered animals may be cute, but they are not your friends.

"I want a dog like Krypto." The third Green Lantern of Earth, Kyle Rayner, mumbled to himself as he saw the white dog fly away. "But I'm pretty sure Bat's wouldn't be too happy if I just went and kidnapped him."

The young man stayed staring after the dog for a few seconds, ignoring the groans coming from the Parasite- whom he had beaten a few minutes ago with the help of the Kryptonian dog- then snapped his fingers as his eyes widened.

"I'll just take Doctor Fate's helmet and put it on a dog! Flash told me those kids- whatever their names were- did it once and got superpowered animals!"

A green light enveloped him as he prepared to set off to find Doctor Fate, but a blur of yellow and red crashed into him, promptly stopping him from doing anything stupid.

"Seriously?! Just who's the Batman recruiting now!? Not even we were this dumb!" Kid Flash growled as he glared down at the older male. "I'm going to give that Bat a piece of my mind! Seriously, adults are supposed to be smarter than kids!"

Rule #35: No bothering Lex Luthor. He is a dangerous and cunning adversary.

Guy Gardner regretted having listened to Superboy. No matter how evil the rich man had been to the young clone, Guy should never have allowed himself to be convinced to try and do it for the kid.

He didn't know why he cared for the boy. His team had made it their mission to make his life miserable at every turn. But, for some reason, after Superboy had explained how mean Lex Luthor had been to him, he couldn't help but feel for the kid.

Sometimes Guy hated the kids because they were mean to him. Now he just hated them because they had somehow wormed their way into his heart.

"I never took the Green Lantern's to be stupid." Lex drawled out as he circled around Guy Gardner's bound form, eyes falling upon the one thing he was actually interested in. His ring.

"And I thought you weren't much of a pompous asshole, so I guess we both got disappointed." Guy rolled his eyes, trying to hide the fact that he was freaking out on the inside.

He couldn't use his ring because his hand was broken. Lex was smart enough to do that much damage to him. And he couldn't get out of Lex Corp's building because he couldn't use his ring.

"Now, let's see how your ring works." Lex smiled in an almost malicious manner, nearing the red haired male.

Guy's eyes widened and he began to struggle against his bonds, but it proved to be futile. There was no way he could escape this predicament.

Or, at least, that was what he thought.

Kid Flash suddenly appeared before Lex Luthor, holding up a bottle of Axe at the man.

"Take one more step towards the ginger and I fire!" The teen growled, glaring menacingly.

Lex stopped his advance at the sight of the young teen. "I thought you hated Guy Gardner. If I remember correctly, you had him bound to Flash and Wonder Woman in only his underwear a few weeks ago."

Kid Flash shook his head, "Only we can hurt Guy! He's our punching bag!"

Guy didn't know if he should feel happy at the prospect of being rescued or annoyed that he was only being rescued because the kids loved to hate him.

"Come on, Kid Flash. You are not fooling anyone. The Light knows how much you hate your mentors. Why do you not help us bring them down? We can help you get your revenge, your-"

Kid Flash sprayed Lex in the face with the same concoction he had used on Superman, Zod, and Lois Lane before and immediately the man was screaming and rolling around on the floor because of the pain.

The red head leaned back against Guy's body- earning a groan of pain as he leaned into Guy's broken hand- and shook his head. "One would think these Metropolis idiots would know by now. I have a Krypto-B-Gone and I'm not afraid to use it."

Guy didn't know if he should be thankful or hoping that Lex would stop screaming and get Kid Flash off of his broken hand.
