Hey there peeps! This would be the 97th chapter of this stupidly long story. I hope you enjoy reading this chapter, because I surely liked writing it! There's going to be quite a lot of things going on in here.

"So what are we going to do?" I asked Will as he, Ironhide and I were sitting in my room. We were supposed to be thinking over all the papers Ironhide would need, as a citizen of this country.

"He needs a name, surname, date of birth, place of birth, birth certificate, which schools he attended… There's going to be a lot of things we'll need to make up." Will answered. "But luckily for him, he'll be able to choose all those things."

Ironhide merely nodded. "Send us the exact information you need and you will receive feedback within a few days."

There was suddenly a knock on the door. It opened, only to reveal Sarah behind it. "Ironhide, can I talk to you for a minute?" she asked, motioning for him to come out.

"Of course." He got up and walked towards the door. "What is it?" he said as he closed the door, leaving me and Will in my room.

"So…" I said, bored and without any topics to talk about.

"How are you doing? Any pain, any struggles?"

"I'm doing okay, I guess, as long as nothing is hurting me, which it isn't. I just struggle with getting up and down the stairs. Carrying around something that's heavy isn't exactly living the dream. And I can't see my feet."

He chuckled. "It's going to come out soon enough. How far are you?"

"Three more months and it's out." I said with a smile, referring to the baby. "To be honest, I just want to see my feet again."

He chuckled as he took a seat next to me on the bed. "You know, when Sarah was pregnant, she was different from you. She complained a lot more than you did."

"Really? What did she say?"

"Oh she could rant on for hours how she didn't like the kitchen walls, how she could eat as much chocolate as she wanted, how she wanted to go to the park but couldn't even get up off the couch… too many things to count, but she was certainly a handful."

"If she heard you right now, she would probably strangle you." I reminded him.

"Yeah, I better keep my mouth shut. But just so you know, you're doing pretty good compared to her." He said with a wink.

"We have a deal?" Sarah said as Ironhide opened the door and got in.

"Yes. I agree with you."

"Agree on what?" I asked.

"Nothing." Both of them said it at the same time, a little too soon.

"You're up to something and I want to know what." I crossed my arms across my chest. It was too obvious that they were planning on something.

"You'll find out. It's a surprise." Sarah said gently and then she looked at Ironhide. "You better not mess it up." her voice dropped.

"When have I ever messed something up?" He defended himself.

We all gave him a stern look.

"Alright fine." He put his hands up defensively. "I may have let some things get out of hand, but never serious. And I would never mess this up." he looked back at Sarah.

"You better not." She batted a finger at him. "Will, let's go. We need to put Annabelle into school in two hours. The pedagogue is waiting for us and we need to prepare her." She said, returning to her normal self.

"Right, good call." He said, getting up from the bed. I almost envied how he could get up with such ease. "See you 'round, Mel. Ironhide, I'll send you the paperwork." Ironhide nodded in acknowledgment.

"See you." I said as he closed the door behind him, leaving me and Ironhide alone in my room. "So what was that all about? I see Sarah won't tell me, which is odd for her."

"It's a surprise."

"Is it a good one?"

"If all goes well, yes, it should be a good one."

"So what now?"

"We need a transportation device."

"You can't drive."

"Neither can you." He immediately retorted, thinking I was attacking him.

"I'm not saying you're incompetent, but you are." I snickered as he rolled his eyes. "I'm guessing we'll need an Autobot? Where are we going anyway?"

"I'll arrange everything." He assured, reaching for the door handle on the door.

"And I'm just going to tag along?"

"Not entirely, but… just wait here. I'll be here soon." He hurried to get of the room, closing the door behind him.

I spent a few minutes in silence. "And to think he'd want to spend more time with me and not go running around crazily…" I muttered to myself. "It's just you and me, baby." I patted my stomach.

I love my baby. But the silence was soon broken as I heard a threatening voice reverberate through the house.

"You will do as I say or you won't see tomorrow morning!" I heard Ironhide yell at somebody, but I didn't know who. It probably wasn't serious. At least, I hoped it wasn't.

"Okay, okay! Fine, I'll take you there!" I heard Sunstreaker whine. "Primus, you could've asked nicely!"

"And you should have learned to listen to your superiors!" he roared back, and he had the last word.

I heard footsteps on the stairs, eventually they came to my room. "Hide?" I asked as the door opened, revealing him and his shadow from behind it.

"Come now, we're leaving."

"Now?"

"Right now." he said with a smile, walking over to me and extending his hands towards me, as if nothing happened between him and Sunstreaker just moments ago. I took them gingerly as he gently lifted me up. He helped me get down the stairs as we quietly exited the apartment, getting into the elevator and going into the garage. A golden Lamborghini with open doors awaited us.

"I did as told." Sunstreaker said morosely, closing the hood of the car. "Don't yell at me." You could easily tell he was resisting the urge to tell him 'fragger'.

Ironhide only smirked as he knew he had won. He always had to win. It was a matter of pride and he and Sunstreaker packed tons of it. "I will quit yelling when you start listening." He glared at him. "You are to listen to your superiors at all times, understood?" he leaned towards him.

"Yes, sir." He said.

"Dismiss the holoform." Ironhide ordered as Sunstreaker obeyed. After all, Ironhide was his mentor, his teacher, his superior. There was no denying it and there was no denying him and his orders. Law was law, and it had to be respected. "Come on, Mel, let's go."

I nodded as he helped me get down into the extremely low car. The door shut itself for me as Ironhide found his way into the driver's seat.

The engine started up, reverberating throughout the whole garage. I loved that powerful sound. Sunstreaker really knew his way around combining sports and luxury in its finest.

"Does he know where we're going?" I asked Ironhide. He nodded.

"Yes, don't worry. It's all been planned."

"What's been planned?"

"Nothing."

"Ironhide…"

"You'll see, that's all I'm going to tell you."

"Come on. Spill it."

"No."

"Ironhide, tell me where are we going."

"I'm not going to tell you."

"You will."

"I won't."

"You will or I'm going out." I threatened, although I hadn't really meant it. We were just out of the garage and were waiting for the green light on the semaphore. It was a beautiful day today, the sun shining through the windscreen.

"I'd like to see you try." He mocked.

I rolled my eyes. He was nothing if not persistent and stubborn.

"Alright, fine." I gave up. "But it better be good." I smiled at him.

"It's something you would never expect." He gave a hint.

"Oh, so now I'm closer to finding out where you're taking me. I'm back to square one." Because he literally didn't give me anything to ponder on.

He chuckled as he checked out the interior. He looked at the display. "How does this work?" he inquired, touching the display's icons and setting off different commands for it to perform. Some were navigation, some were music, some were TV. "This is intriguing." He muttered.

I could feel the car's suspension stiffen as we drove through the city of Chicago. Sunstreaker wasn't used to Ironhide touching him. Ironhide pressed the display's icons a couple of more times, somehow getting into the radio. He fiddled with the controls, fairly quickly learning how to use the display and all of its controls and commands.

As we drove for quite some time, I knew we were going out of the city. But I didn't know where we were going. I was just going to have to sit and tag along, to see what was going on and why he was taking me wherever he was taking me.

"So… how long until we get there?" I asked, looking at Ironhide. He shrugged.

"Sunstreaker?" Ironhide asked him.

'Four minutes…' the radio said. So, soon we were going to arrive at the set destination.

And in a matter of minutes, we entered through an archway that had a sign that said 'Chicago National Park'.

All this fuss… over a park?

I didn't say anything as I let the situation unfold itself. We came to a stop at a ramp. We were supposed to buy tickets for the entrance and park on the parking lot. But I guess Sunstreaker and Ironhide had different plans.

The window rolled down on its own as the glove compartment above my knees opened. Ironhide dug his hand into it and retrieved a plastic card. He handed it over to the park ranger.

The ranger seemed to look over it, putting it under a scanner. A few seconds later, he returned the card and the ramp opened.

Weird.

But I was still silent, trying to figure out this whole situation. There must be something significant about this park, otherwise why would he ever make such a fuss about it?

We slowly drove towards a sign that appointed to the parking lot being on the right side of the road. I expected us to turn right and park there, but Sunstreaker turned left.

There was a huge uphill climb, but after some time, we managed to get to the top. We were greeted by another park ranger that stood in front of a ramp.

The car slowly stopped, the concrete slowly running out and turning into graveled pavement. The driver's window rolled down once more as the park ranger came towards us.

"Sorry, tourists are not allowed beyond this point." He said. "I suggest you go back and follow the signs."

Ironhide gave him the card wordlessly. The ranger seemed to give him a strange look and then looked into the card. He gulped.

"I see." The ranger said, bringing up a remote control key from his jacket's pocket. "You're free to go." The ramp opened up for us as Ironhide put the plastic card back into the glove compartment as it closed itself.

"What was that card for?"

"Special treatment."

It didn't take a genius. "You used the military to get here, didn't you."

"Only because I can get away with it." He smirked.

"So where to now?" I asked as we slowly drove on the gravel for many minutes. We finally came to a stop when there was no more gravel to drive on and Sunstreaker started driving on green grass. "You shouldn't be driving here."

"I don't care." He replied. I wouldn't expect anything else from him to say.

So he drove for some short amount of time, then he stopped. "This is our stop." Ironhide said as both doors swiftly opened upwards. With the help of Ironhide, I managed to get out of the extremely low car. "You are to stay here, Sunstreaker, unless I have the need to call for you. Then you shall come to us." He ordered.

The LED lights of the mighty Aventador flashed twice in acknowledgement as the hood of the car clicked open. Ironhide walked over to it as it fully opened on its own. Ironhide took out a basket.

Basket?

I looked at it as the hood closed on its own and the car shut off. Ironhide walked towards me, taking me by the hand. I realized that this whole place was secluded.

"What's with the basket?" I asked as we slowly started to walk uphill, all the way to the top.

"You'll see."

It wasn't a steep climb, but I really felt a little tired after we had managed to reach the top. There was a large clearing on top of the hill. It was leveled and perfect for lying on.

"Wait until I set everything up." he said, putting the basket down and took out a huge red and white checkered blanket and opened it, setting it on the ground with the basket in a corner of it.

I stood on the same spot Ironhide had left me in as I watched him take out a lot of edible things from the basket.

It was a picnic. With Ironhide.

Those two things never worked in a sentence.

Yet, here it was, in front of my eyes.

I walked up towards the picnic set on this beautiful place. I crouched down, trying not to let my stomach and knees touch as I finally sat on the ground.

"You must be hungry." He said, presenting me an array of food. From strawberries to apples to pies to pizzas. There were a lot of things in here. I could feel my intestines begging me to eat.

"After seeing this…" I said as I gazed at the food. "Where did all this food come from?"

"Great masters never reveal their secrets."

I snorted. "Such a master you are." I instantly reached for the pie, only to find out it was apple cobbler. "I love this." I said, as he handed me the knife and I cut myself a piece. "You're going to love this, too." I said as I cut two large pieces on one plate. He handed me one fork as I set the plate on the blanket.

We ate in silence for a while, and then he spoke up. It was so quiet here. And it was a beautiful day.

"This tastes so much better than energon."

I laughed. "So that's one good thing about being human." I said, pointing my fork up wisely.

"I hope I don't get overweight, but this food is something I have never tasted before. Needless to say, it's much better than the sweetest energon I could find." He said. "And throughout my life, I have tasted a lot of energons. Primus knows some weren't even edible." He shivered at the thought of foul energon. "But this," he pointed with his fork towards the crumbs of the apple cobbler. "Is something I never would expect to taste so wonderful."

"You sure are grateful today." I said.

"Every day should be a privilege, not a habit." his voice dropped as I know he was speaking from the heart.

"Of course." He was right. Get used to something and it'll get taken away from you, so that you will learn how much you need it and have taken it for granted. But even though I never took Ironhide for granted, I still lost him.

Because of the horrid thought, I crawled close to him and hugged him. "Everything alright?" he asked, his one hand supporting our weight, the other around my back.

"I don't want to lose you again. I never want to go through that again."

"You won't ever have to." The hand that was around my back found its way to the back of my head. He angled it down so his lips were planted on my forehead. "I'm here and I'm not ever going anywhere. Not unless I take you with me." he smirked.

I brought my hand up to caress the side of his face. "I still miss you."

"But I'm right here." He sounded confused. I couldn't quite explain to him how I still missed him, even though he was right here beside me. It was like the heart knows he's here and that he will never leave, but it's all too illogical to the head and that's where the conflict begins.

"I know… I know." I said, hugging him around the neck again.

"Come on, Mel. I'm here." He said, looking at me in the eyes. Oh his eyes.

"I know you are." I said. Any more words were sufficient, so I reached towards the peach juice that was on the blanket. I opened it and poured it into two glasses. "You know the customs, right?"

"I believe I do not." He said, holding the glass.

"Well, listen. You hold it up like this," I help up my glass. "And you gently bump it into the other's glass."

"And what is the point of it?" he said as he, very gently, bumped my glass.

"You drink to something. It's like drinking to a brighter future or wealth, health, love, prosperity, anything really. And it's something humans always do."

"I think I understand." He said, twirling the juice inside the glass. "Shall we… toast, is it?" he awkwardly said.

I nodded. "Good one. Let us live in prosperity and health and live happy lives, forever after." I mumbled and brought my glass up.

"And may we love each other until the end of time and never be separated again."

I grinned at his toast as we bumped our glasses, drinking all the juice in it. "It would have been better if we had wine instead of this."

"Ratchet told me you should avoid drinking alcohol."

"It's not like I'm drinking vodka."

"I'm following his rules." I rolled my eyes at him.

"Of course you are." I chuckled as we slowly advanced to the pizza.

This day was just amazing.

Mel didn't expect that and I presume you didn't expect this either!

Song: Madonna – Four minutes

Of course, I have no idea if there is such a thing as a 'Chicago National Park', but since I'm not your US girl, I don't know. Maybe it exists, maybe it doesn't. Those who are curious have the internet to search, but I'll just leave my remark at this.

I hope you liked this, because soon something good will happen! Review, favorite and follow folks!
