Hey there, fellow readers of this story! I'm quite glad that we are here today, because with every chapter I write, I'm closer to my goal and closer to writing another great story! I can't begin to thank you how grateful I am that I am provided with a great imagination and that I can form into words and share it with you. It feels really good.

As we talked, laughed, mocked each other, the day had turned into night. A starry night, silent as the stars themselves.

"Come on, we should sit on something better than grass." I said, spotting a bench not too far away, with a direct view onto the landscape. The full moon and the stars really provided us enough light to see where we were going. Today was an absolutely incredible day for me.

He helped me get up, walk and sit on the bench. He sat right beside me, his arm slung around my shoulders as my head rested on his shoulder.

"It's so beautiful, isn't it?" I said gently and softly, looking up at the moon.

"Certainly." He said, his voice deeper than usual. He stiffened suddenly. "Mel, I have something to ask you."

"Ask then."

He was motionless for a moment and then took a deep breath. "You know, I haven't done this before."

"I'm sure you didn't. Cybertron had more moons than Earth, right? So maybe you had even more beautiful views than this one."

"I didn't mean the view."

Then what did he mean? "Picnic?"

He smiled. "True, but it wasn't what I was hinting on."

He didn't hint on anything.

I looked at him weirdly. What was he talking about?

He suddenly stood up, leaving me on the bench. What is he doing?

"We've been through a lot, you and I. And you never left my side." I listened to his words intently.

"I never will." I calmly said. Where was he going with this?

"Good, because I know you wouldn't. You are…" he trailed off, looking in the distance. But then his eyes focused on mine. "You are everything to me."

I tilted my head and gave him a smile. "Hide… You know how I feel about you, too."

"I know and therefore I ask you this." He suddenly turned towards me, coming down on one knee in front of me. "Melissa Laura Lennox," I stared at him wide eyed, my heart racing. "Will you marry me?"

He brought out a small black box from behind his ack, opening it to reveal a silver engagement ring with a diamond on it. I stared at it.

What do I say?

Oh my God.

Time is running out.

He's expecting an answer.

"Yes!" I squealed, lunging at him and hugging him around the neck. His lips met mine in a feverous kiss as he straightened up, spinning me around in the moonlight. "Yes…" I said, looking into his eyes.

They shone with happiness like never before.

Three months later…

I was as big as an elephant, really. I could start giving birth any day now. I was due soon.

But one month before that, Ironhide and I had gotten married. Things were frantic. Everybody went wild when they found out about me and him getting married.

I, for one, never thought I would get married and have kids. Or at least, one kid.

Ironhide got all the papers he needed. His human name was Robert Lennox, as he took my surname. Cybertronians didn't have surnames. I don't know how from Ron he got to the name Robert, but it oddly suited him. He was a retired weapons specialist, ex Special Ops operative and had a lot more titles to him than I could remember. We had a monthly retirement payment as our main income, all being sent to our account. It was quite a lot and I didn't know if such a salary was possible. I couldn't work. I was pregnant and I gave up on college.

Something I would later have to do. Finish college.

So now, we were legally married. It turns out that Sarah had an impact on this. She gave Ironhide her engagement ring, which belonged to my grandmother. Will had to ask his mom, my grandma, to give him her ring so that he could propose to Sarah. It was quite thoughtful of him.

But now, I had my own marriage ring. It was a simple one with an engraving on the inside of it. It said 'Until the end of time.' and had an Autobot insignia on it. It was the most precious thing I held close to me right now. And I never took it off. Neither did Ironhide.

So I was currently in the kitchen, making myself breakfast. It was around noon now and I was enjoying the soft music that came from the TV. Nicole was watching some movie with Mikaela, and it seemed to be a love story of some sort.

"Mel, you're gonna miss the best part."

"Kinda busy here." I said, putting everything back in the fridge.

"Hurry up!"

I rolled my eyes as I took my plate of bread and jam and walked towards the couch. "I'll watch the movie again." I said, handing Mikaela the plate so that I could sit down on the couch. I just wanted this baby out of me. I couldn't walk normally, I could barely get up or down, regardless of whether I was sitting or going down the stairs. It had been too long for me.

"No, you're gonna watch the part, look it's gonna happen!" she excitedly said as we watched The Hunger Games.

"This movie is making me anxious." I said.

"This part isn't about them running, it's about them-"

"Don't spill it to her! She hasn't watched this part yet." Mikaela chided her. "Now watch."

So I watched the movie as she handed me back my plate. I ate in silence, intently watching and listening to the discussion in the movie.

"Medicine? "

"No. Soup. I-I'll do it."

"That's nice."

"You fed me once." Katniss said.

"I think about that all the time. How I tossed you that bread-"

"Peeta…"

"I should have gone to you, I should have just gone out in the rain and-"

"Shh…" she whispered to him. "You feel hot."

"I remember the first time I saw you. Your hair was in two braids instead of one. And I remember when you sang at the music assembly and the teacher said 'Who knows the Valley song?' and your hand shot strait up. After that, I watched you go and come, every day… Every day."

"They would be so cute together." Nicole said.

"Except she-"

"Shh!" I chided them this time and they shut up almost immediately.

"Well, say something."

"I'm not good at saying something."

"Then come here. Please."

This movie was nothing if not moving.

"Even if I don't make it-"

"Shh!"

As the scene was slowly coming to an end and another one was about to begin, I felt a small kick in my stomach. I put my hand over it, relaxing into the couch.

'Attention tributes, attention. Commencing at sunrise, there will be a feast tomorrow, the Cornucopia. This will be no ordinary occasion. Each of you need something. Desperately. And we plan to be… generous hosts.'

"Your medicine." Katniss said.

"No-"

"Yes, you need it and you can't walk."

"Katniss, you're not gonna risk your life for me, I'm not gonna let you!"

"You would do it for me. Wouldn't you?"

"Why are you doing this?"

And that was the most perfect moment for her to kiss him. All three of us made 'aw' sounds.

"Now there's no way I'm letting you go."

"Peeta…"

"Please. Stay."

"Okay. I'll stay."

I felt another kick in my stomach. This baby was surely loving doing it.

"I'm gonna get this washed up." I said as I got up, but then I heard a splash. Like some water had just been spilt. I looked to Nicole and Mikaela who stared wide eyed and mouths agape at me and at the puddle beneath me.

Oh God.

I looked down on myself, and I could see the puddle just under me, in the middle of my feet. "Oh my God, oh my God…" I found myself saying, adrenaline rushing through my veins. I felt hot and cold at the same time and I wanted to sit. I ditched the plate on the couch.

It was time.

"Oh God, oh God!" Nicole grabbed her head, turning around, not knowing what to do or where to go. "I gotta call someone! Mikaela, you're a medical intern, what do we do?!"

"Call Ratchet, call Ratchet!" She yelled. "Okay Melissa, just relax, don't worry."

"I'm trying!" I said as I felt the baby wanting to come out immediately. "Call Ratchet! Call Ironhide!"

"What's the number?!" Nicole frantically said, running around the house trying to find a phone. "Where is that goddamned phone?!"

"Call Bee!" Mikaela yelled as she helped me get out of the house and into the elevator.

"It wants to come out!" I screamed.

"Keep it in, Mel! We'll go to the garage and have someone drive you to the nearest hospital. Just breathe, relax and don't worry. Everything's going to be alright." She soothingly said as we, in a matter of only seconds, got down to the garage. It was cold in there and I feared to move. Every step I took, I felt as if the baby would just drop out of my stomach.

"I can't walk like this!"

"You're going to have to, now hurry!"

And of course, the first Autobot in sight was Sunstreaker. His holoform immediately formed in front of us. "The frag is going on?" he eyes darted from me to Mikaela and back.

"She's in labor, we have to go!" Mikaela said.

"But her fluids-in my alt!" he complained but opened his doors for me and Mikaela to sit in.

"Drive, drive, drive!" Mikaela yelled as the engine turned on and leaped towards the exit of the garage, cutting a few cars and driving in the opposite lane. His LED lights changed colors to red and blue as we could see their reflection on the other cars.

We cut the other cars off, swerved on the road, did serpentines and whatnots and in what seemed like mere minutes, we were in front of a hospital. "Call everyone!" Mikaela yelled.

"Ratchet is already there, I commed him the first second I saw Melissa!" the radio said.

"Good work, Sunstreaker! Now help me get her up and into the building.

"It's going to come out!" I screamed in pain as Mikaela and Ratchet, who suddenly found his way near me, helped me get into the hospital.

It was all arranged for me when I got in. Sunstreaker had done a great job at informing Ratchet. I would have to thank him later.

"This way." Ratchet said as there was a sudden crowd in the hallway that I was supposed to go through.

I wasn't ready to give birth!

"Make way!" Ratchet yelled as the various nurses and doctors moved aside, including the patients. "This room, Mikaela!" he told her as we turned right and my eyes met a room of a sea foam color with a bed on it. They immediately set me on the bed. "Get her clothes off!" Ratchet commanded as Mikaela took off my sweat suit from the bottom down.

"Mikaela!" I screamed as it really hurt. I felt like my vagina was painfully stretching itself and the baby was trying to come out it wanted to come out quickly. I didn't want it to hurt this much!

"I'm here, I'm here. Just breathe and relax, it's all fine." She said, taking my hand.

I suddenly felt something being put over my legs as they were stretched. Somebody was in my private area!

"That's Ratchet, don't worry, he's going to help you-"

"Where's Ironhide?" I quickly asked. "Ah, God get it out!"

"He's on his way!" she yelled back. "Ow, ow, OW, Mel, you're gonna crush my hand!"

"I need you to push, Melissa!"

"ARGH!" I let out a demonic cry.

"Ow, ow, ow!"

"One more time, push hard!"

"I will kill him!" I yelled.

"The head is almost out, push it one last time, hardest!" he yelled once more as I did my best to push the baby out of me, almost crushing Mikaela's hand in the process and crying out loud.

I felt like I had done it. Like the baby was out.

But I heard no sound.

My baby.

Why isn't my baby crying?

I brought my head up from my pillow, opening my eyes. I was so tired...

Ratchet's back was turned towards me and my baby was in his arms. I couldn't see what was going on.

"Why isn't my baby crying! Mikaela, what's wrong with my baby?! What's-"

And that's when I heard the most beautiful cry in my life.

Ratchet turned around with a grin I have never before seen in my life. My baby was wrapped in a soft pink blanket and it was already washed and tucked safely into his arms.

I looked at it. It was the most beautiful and most innocent thing I had ever seen in my entire life.

"You have become a mother, Melissa." Ratchet said, walking slowly towards my bed, the baby's cries lessening. "It is a girl. Congratulations."

"My baby girl…" I said, extending my hands for him to hand her over to me.

When she got into my arms, she was so beautiful, soft, innocent… everything a beautiful baby could be described with. I loved her. I loved her so much. It was love at first time in the most literal meaning possible.

"Do you have any picked out names?" Mikaela asked, grinning. "Congratulations, Mel." She said earnestly.

"No, we… we haven't given it much thought. We had to prepare the wedding, the papers, a lot of stuff. We never really thought about names."

"Do you have a name you'd like to give her?" Ratchet said, pulling out a med chart and writing information on it.

"I want Ironhide to be here with me, so we can pick out the name together." I smiled, looking at my baby again.

How I loved her already…

One hour later…

"I… I don't…" Ironhide was speechless as he entered the room. God knows where he's been, but it didn't matter now. He was here.

"It's a girl." I said as he walked into the room, completely speechless. The rest of the people had gone out, giving me and him our much wanted and needed privacy to discuss some things.

"I'm a father. I don't believe this." He said, grinning widely. He walked towards me and pressed a kiss onto my forehead. "I am so very proud of you."

I felt proud as well.

"You know, we have to pick out a name for her." I said, looking at my little angel which was tucked away safely in my arms.

"Marie?" he suggested as I gave her to him and he held her in his arms.

"No." I didn't like that name.

"Anna?"

"We already have an Anna."

"Annabelle is not Anna."

"We call her that."

He did know I was right. I gave him a look.

I yawned afterwards, laying my head back on the pillow.

"You're tired, Mel, we'll think of a name later." He gave me my little girl back as he caressed the back of my head. "I am so proud of you."

I smiled as I closed my eyes. I could feel him caressing the baby too.

And then I fell asleep, exhausted from today's actions.

So that would be the end of the 98th chapter!

Movie: The Hunger Games

Ironhide's story from a couple of chapters ago really did come true! Up to a point. At least he got a baby girl to take care of and to love for all eternity. Only two chapters to go!
