Please review! Love you guys!

2017- May

"Congratulations little brother! You finally got out of high school!" Dickie grinned at his brother, ruffling his hair while carrying Hailee in his other arm.

"Thanks Dickie! I'm happy about it too. Mom and Dad aren't too happy that I'm spending my summer in Ireland though." Kendle grinned, pointing to his parents who were trying to get Oliver and Eli to behave and not get dirty in their good clothes.

Dickie chuckled looking at his parents. "They probably aren't. They weren't happy when I went off to college. The only reason Summer is going to college is because she's living with Mom and Dad."

Kendle shrugged. "True. I'm going to miss everybody this summer." He grinned when his niece stuck her tongue out at him. "You little stinker! Come here!" She giggled going to Kendle's waiting arms.

Dickie walked over to the rest of his family and kissed Summer's head when he was behind her. "Hey Murmur!"

"Hey Dickie!" Summer grinned and kissed his cheek. Carmela was standing next to her, smiling at the two of them. "Mom and Dad are in a mood because of the twins."

"Well, the twins are named after them. They should act like them." Dickie smirked as he watched his father pick up his two youngest brothers as if he was carrying bags under his arms. "Dad does that to Mom."

"He still does." Summer chuckled making Dickie burst out laughing. She looked at her son. "Charlie, do you want to see uncle Dickie?" Charlie shook his head, smiling at Dickie who fake gasped. "I bet he'll take you to see uncle Dell. You guys can play hide and seek." Charlie grinned and reached for Dickie. He walked off with Charlie towards Kendle, Zack, and Hailee.

Elliot and Olivia made it over to Summer and Carmela with Oliver and Eli still struggling in Elliot's hold. "Dad, you are going to hurt your back. Put the twins down." Summer scolded her father.

"If I put them down, I have to make sure they don't get their clothes dirty and that's impossible." Elliot groaned and looked at Olivia. He smirked. "Why did we have these guys again?"

"I don't know." Olivia said, playing along. "It had something to do with a drunk night with Casey and Alex."

"Gross!" Carmela grimaced, making Summer chuckle. "Do you two just decide to have kids on a whim or is it a surprise every time?

Summer rolled her eyes. "You sound like your mother, Carmela." She said folding her arms over her chest.

Carmela frowned. "Now, that's just mean. I am nothing like my mother."

Summer tilted her head to the side. "Well, you aren't chasing after your daughter's husband's father. So, you have that going for you." She smirked.

"Your mothers have had some mishaps over the years." Elliot smirked, looking at all three girls in front of him. He put the boys down, not making any sudden movements, and watched as they ran towards their brothers, niece, and nephew.

"Oh, I've heard a few of them. Olivia was my mom's favorite topic." Carmela groaned.

"Oh really?" Olivia asked, raising an eyebrow. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "I'm not letting her get to me. Not letting her get to me."

"Mom, you okay?" Summer asked, her eyebrows furrowing.

Olivia took a deep breath and nodded. "I just don't like when she thinks she can take all this," She gestures to Elliot's form. "Away from me. All this is mine."

Elliot kept his chuckle at bay. "Apparently, it's not mine."

Carmela chuckled and bumped her hip with Summer's. "I love your parents." Summer laughed and hugged Carmela tightly. "Have you told them about California yet?" She asked.

Summer froze and looked at her parents. They were both looking at her, their eyebrows furrowed together. "What about California?" Elliot asked, folding his arms over his chest.

"Thank you, Carmela." Summer groaned and scowled when she scurried away, patting her back.

"Summer, what about California?" Elliot asked again, wanting an answer as to why his daughter was associated with a state all the way across the country.

"I got a letter a few weeks ago that my book is being published. The publisher thinks it could be a New York Times Best Seller. She called me a couple days ago saying that somebody wanted to turn the book into a movie. I'd have to go to California for a few months while we film. They want me on set to make sure everything is the way I pictured it." Summer shrugged.

"Baby, that's great! Why didn't you tell us?" Olivia asked, oblivious that her husband was freaking out inside.

Summer sighed and smiled lightly. "It's Kendle's time. I don't want to take that away from him. Plus, I don't know when I'd go. I've got schooling and Charlie. I can't take Charlie on set with me everyday. William is overseas until October."

Olivia furrowed her eyebrows. "Well, you have the money for a sitter."

Summer nodded. "Yeah, and my professors told me I could do my classes online if I wanted, or take a semester off." She breathed, smiling slightly. She looked at Elliot. "Daddy, what do you think?"

Elliot looked at his daughter and felt his heart clench. How could his barely five pound girl be here already? She had a kid of her own, a plan, a husband, a life he wasn't apart of. He was happy for her on one level, ecstatic. But, he also knew that if she liked it out there, William and her could easily move out there. He looked into her expectant eyes, seeing the Stabler eyes. "I think it's a great opportunity and I'm very proud of you. You'd be nuts to pass this up."

"Thank you, Daddy." Summer grinned, before hugging him tightly, her arms around his torso. He wrapped his around and looked at Olivia. She smiled sympathetically at him and rubbed his back.

Olivia walked into the kitchen to find Elliot sitting in one of the barstools, his head resting on her forearms on the counter. "El, baby, what's wrong?"

"I miss our daughter. She's been gone a month, Liv. What am I going to do for the next three? What am I going to do if she moves out there?" Elliot asked his wife desperately.

"Oh, El, honey." Olivia sighed, wrapping her arms around him. He hugged her torso, his head going to her chest. "Summer is fine. She calls you everyday and you two text more than we do. I miss her too, but we knew she'd leave the nest at some point. Besides, she's coming back at the end of October and living with us until January when William comes home. Plus, they still have to find and buy a place. It will be a while before they are shipped off." She kissed the top of his head. "Feel better?"

"No, I still miss our daughter." Elliot mumbled into her shirt.

Olivia groaned and kissed his head, cupping his face. "Do you want to feel better?"

Elliot looked up at her, catching the glint in her eye. "Are you trying to seduce me?" Olivia smirked down at him. "It worked." She laughed as he backed her up towards the stairs, going to their bedroom for the night.
