Okay I have no excuses for late updating other than I'm lazy and writer's block. I hate writer's block… On a lighter note, I appreciate all the support I've been getting. I love the reviews you guys have left me! Not to mention that I'm over 50 followers! My fans are amazing!
Thanks and Happy Reading!
"Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin?" Silence. "The Hitachiin brothers?" More silence. "Does anyone know where they are? Haruhi, do you know?" Kazukiyo, our class president looked up from his attendance sheet.
Haruhi shook his head no.
Most of the girls looked on the brink of tears, all discussing what the thought had happened to the twins.
"Maybe they're horribly sick!" One exclaimed, hand over her forehead.
"Or maybe a family member died!" Another proposed, this one's hand was over her heart.
One girl looked extremely pale, "Or what if," A tear ran down her face, "what if one of them died in a freak accident!" She burst into tears along with the others.
I heard the blubbering of a fan, "But-but they're too young and handsome!"
"Why, oh why!" Wailed the others.
I sighed and let my head fall down onto my desk. I should've known they wouldn't show up today. They were making such a big deal out of something that was just a misunderstanding. I mean there's no way Hikaru actually meant what he said. We're friends. Well, at least we used to be. It's not just Hikaru. Kaoru's been acting strange as well. I blew a piece of hair out of my face.
"Come to think of it, the twins have been acting weird lately."
My head shot up, suddenly interested. I'm glad others noticed the behavior change. Then again, I knew sooner or later the girls would probably start questioning Haruhi and I.
"Yeah, I agree. Ever since last week. They seem quieter than usual." The girl who spoke now looked down toward her feet and soon added, "I hope nothing happened. Just when they were starting to open up too."
A third girl joined the conversation, "It'd be a shame, but they have been acting different. Especially Kaoru. Have you seen him at the Host Club lately? He keeps staring off toward some girl. Y'know the new one who just joined our class," she stopped to think, "Sugiyama, or something like that."
My eyes widened. So, I hadn't been going crazy, I knew someone was looking at me. I just didn't expect it to be Kaoru.
The first girl spoke again, "Hey isn't that her? Maybe she knows something!"
And so the questioning will begin.
RIIING!
Saved by the bell once again. I jolted up out of my seat and ran out the door before they could say anything to me. I turned left down one of the long hallways. I looked at the room numbers. Let's see 1-C, 1-D, 2-OOF!
I was sprawled on the ground. Man, I'm such a klutz. "S-sorry," I quickly stuttered. I soon saw a hand extended and a faint chuckle. I accepted the help and quickly found myself at the princely character I knew as Tamaki Suou. Deja Vu much?
He looked down at where our hands met and grinned, before yelling, "Mommy! Look who I just ran into! It's our new daughter!"
Mommy? And what's with the daughter thing again?
"Honestly Tamaki, you need to stop bugging poor Miss Sugiyama. I believe she'd like it if you'd let go of her hand."
I was stunned as the Shadow King himself showed up.
Before I could respond, Tamaki interrupted with a puppy dog face, "Nessa, you don't mind holding your father's hand right! Tell Mommy that!"
"Actually, Kyoya-Senpai is right. I would like my hand back, and who do you keep calling Mo-" Suddenly I got it. Tamaki thought of Kyoya and I as family, and Kyoya was the-the MOTHER?! I burst out laughing. "Kyoya-Senpai is your wife!"
Kyoya frowned and pushed up his glasses, "Tamaki would you care to explain this whole 'family' idea you have?"
Tamaki regained his composure quickly and explained, "Well you see, Mori-Senpai and Honey-Senpai are our neighbors. Mori-Senpai is Honey-Senpai's wife."
Wait Takashi is Mitsukuni's wife! This is too much!
"And," Tamaki continued, "I'm your father, Kyoya is your mother. The twins are your brothers and Haruhi's your sister!"
I was about to have a laughing fit, until I let the words sink in. Haruhi's your sister. Sister? That would mean that Haruhi would have to be…
"A GIRL?!" I blurted the last of my thoughts.
Tamaki looked confused and Kyoya smirked.
"Haruhi's a-a girl?"
Tamaki went pale, "W-what would ever make you say that?"
"Tamaki, you just told Nessa that Haruhi was her sister, logic states that only humans of the female gender may be sisters." Kyoya stated.
"But-but-"
Kyoya wrote something in his black book, "It's about time Nessa knew anyway. The twins or Haruhi would've told her eventually." He turned to me, "Nessa, Haruhi is a girl."
My jaw dropped.
Hahaha it took Nessa 17 chapters to figure out that Haruhi was a girl. And you thought Tamaki was dense! Anyway, I'll try to post more frequently!
Hang in there my fellow Otakus!
