2019- July
"Happy birthday girls!" Summer grinned as she walked down the stairs, finding her father playing with her kids. Both the girls squealed before babbling in their own little language.
"They got up at six and I didn't have the heart to wake you up." Elliot smiled lightly as Summer sat down beside him.
Summer leaned into her father's side. "Were you already up? They sleep in my room."
Elliot kissed her head. "Yeah, I decided to take my jog earlier this morning. Your mother didn't like that very much because apparently I was too loud."
"You are pretty loud when you wake up." Summer giggled. She smiled when he rolled his eyes at her.
They both looked towards the front door when they heard a car door. "Who's here?"
Summer stood up. "I don't know. I'll go check." She walked down the small hallway before opening the front door, seeing a man with bags as a car drove away. The sun was preventing her from seeing who it was. She put a hand up, shielding her eyes, before gasping. "Billy!"
"Hey Murmur!" William grinned up at her. He grinned as his wife ran down the front steps of the house. He ran up the stone pathway and was met in a giant hug which included her legs around his waist. "Hey baby."
"Hi." Summer breathed into his neck, holding him tightly. "You've been gone too long."
"I know. I'm sorry." William apologized, kissing her head. "But, I've never leaving you again. I promise you." He felt her drop her legs and pull back to look up at his face. He smiled at her. "Beautiful."
Summer grinned up at him before hugging him again, resting her head against his chest. "C'mon, there's people that are dying to see you and there's two little girls that you need to meet." She slid her hand into his and pulled him towards the house. "Kendle's got a girlfriend now."
William chuckled. "And to think that he said he was never going to fall in love."
"Well, I don't know about love, but he sure is happy." Summer laughed before she opened the front door and led him in. "Oh crap! We left your bags out there."
"They're fine for now." William smiled before kissing her forehead. "C'mon, like you said, there's people that are dying to see me and there's two little girls that I need to meet."
Summer bit her lip and led him into the living room. She saw her mother coming down the stairs. Olivia saw William and looked back upstairs before looking back at him. "Am I dreaming or did I sleep for a longer time than I thought?"
"No, Mom, you are awake." Summer laughed before everybody turned to look at her, the shock showing on their faces when they saw William.
"Daddy!" Charlie grinned before running over to his father.
William smiled picking him up and pulling him close. "Hey buddy, I missed you." He looked up when Summer picked up the girls and brought them over. "Wow." He breathed. He kissed Charlie's head before putting him down. William teared up as Summer gave him the girls. "They're perfect."
Kyra looked up from her fingers and put a hand on his nose. "Dada!" Nekoda started squealing as she clapped her hands. Summer chuckled, tearing up as well.
"I guess you were right." William croaked out, looking down at Summer. "Video chatting with them over the iPad did help."
October
Olivia laughed as Amanda snorted on her drink, wiping her mouth with a napkin. "I told you it was a weird story." Olivia chuckled as she took a sip of her drink.
"Yes, but I didn't think it'd be that weird. So, she really kissed Elliot right there, in front of everyone?" Amanda asked. Olivia nodded. "Did she want to be murdered that day."
Olivia laughed again. "I don't know, but she must've been off her medication." She smiled when she saw Elliot walk into the bar with Nick and Fin. "Speaking of my husband, here he is now."
Amanda turned to see the guys put their jackets on the coat rack before walking over to join them. "Hey guys! I thought you were going to beat us here?"
"We ended up taking a wrong turn and passed by Fin's favorite dance club." Elliot said with a roll of his eyes. "Nick and I both agreed that he could no longer drive us anywhere unless we were working."
"It wasn't that bad." Fin defended himself. "We saw one girl take her top off. Casey and I go there all the time."
"Fin is right. There is nothing wrong with that. Some men take their wives out to fancy dinners and movies, others take them out to college dance clubs where crimes can start." Olivia smiled lightly as she picked fuzzes off of Elliot's shirt.
Fin rolled his eyes. "Okay, only 10% of our cases start at a club."
Nick took a swig of his beer before looking at all of them. "I thought we came here to have a good time and not talk about work."
"Nick is right." Elliot reminded everyone before raising his own beer. "We came here to have a good time. So, let's do it. No matter how messed up we have become and will become, we know how to get shit done."
"Nicely worded, baby." Olivia chuckled before taking a sip of her beer. She grinned when he kissed her on the lips. "Hey, you guys brought the blue car right?"
Elliot nodded. "Yeah, why?"
"I left a paper in there from my case file. I wanted to put it in our car so I don't forget it." Olivia explained, holding her hand out for the keys.
Elliot handed them to her before kissing her temple. He watched her walk out before taking Olivia's seat at the bar and looking at Amanda. "So, I heard that you and my wife had to pretend to be in love so you could get DNA from a sperm bank."
Amanda chuckled. "We did actually." She took a sip of her beer. "Who told you?"
"Olivia." Elliot smirked and watched as Amanda's eyes widened. "What?"
"Nothing, I just thought Whoopi or Barbra would've told you before Olivia." Amanda smirked, pointing to Fin and Nick. She chuckled when they both frowned at her.
Olivia unlocked the blue car by her and Elliot's car and grabbed the paper from her file. She closed the door and locked the car before unlocking her and Elliot's car, tucking the paper in the control center. She closed the door and repeated the process with the last car before walking back towards the bar, wanting to get out of the chilly fall air. Her heart rate increased when a hand enclosed around her waist and something that felt like a gun was pointed at the base of her spine. "Scream and I kill you."
"Brian?" Olivia gasped as she looked over her shoulder at him. He smirked down at her. "What do you want?"
"You know what I want. It's what I've wanted for the past twenty years. But, no. You had to be married to Elliot fucking Stabler." Brian growled.
When they were in front of the bar window, Olivia turned slightly, causing them to stop and for him to stand in front of her. "I told you no. You left SVU because you couldn't handle the victims' stories. Why are you trying to create that same horror for me?"
Brian thrust the gun into her side, making her gasp again, as he led them further down the sidewalk. "When I do what I want to do, you aren't going to find it traumatizing. You're going to love it more than you love getting screwed by your own husband."
"I make love to my husband. You would be raping me." Olivia whispered as she saw the big black van he was taking her to.
"Get your fucking hands in the air, Cassidy, and take them off of my wife!" Elliot growled as he pointed his gun at Cassidy's back. Nick, Amanda, and Fin were behind him doing the same thing.
Olivia felt Cassidy's gun press harder into her hip bone. "El, he's gotta gun."
Elliot felt his heart rate increase even more than it already was. "Turn around, Brian. This can go down a lot harder than it needs to be. Just put your gun down."
Cassidy turned around and let the barrel of the gun skim up Olivia's arm, up her neck, and to her temple. Elliot flashed back to Rojas at the airport. "What were you saying?"
"Just don't hurt her." Elliot pleaded, his hands starting to sweat. He locked eyes with Olivia. "Alright Cassidy. You win." He put his gun on the ground and motioned for the others to do so. They looked confused, but did the same thing.
"I knew you would see it my way." Brian smirked before someone smashed a glass bottle on top of his head. Brian fell to the ground, knocked unconscious.
Olivia looked down at Brian and looked up to find John and Cragen, Alex and Casey behind them. "I could not be more grateful you picked that moment to knock him out."
John shrugged. "It was a ten dollar bottle of wine. I would pay more for my morning coffee." He grabbed his phone. "I'll call Tucker since he's 'your' friend now." He said to Cragen, emphasizing the word friend.
"He could possibly help us figure out why Brian was going after Olivia." Cragen suggested.
"Liv..." Elliot croaked out before she turned to him.
Olivia felt the events catch up to her and she suddenly felt the tears brimming her eyes. She hurried over to him and wrapped her arms around his torso, feeling safe the moment his encased her. "I love you." She mumbled into his chest.
Elliot kissed her head and nodded. "I love you too."
Soon, Tucker and his unit were there processing the van and arresting Cassidy. Cragen was standing with Elliot and Olivia when Tucker came over. "Hey, what'd you find?"
"Do you want to be around to hear this?" Tucker asked Olivia.
"Yeah, I need to know." Olivia nodded as she leaned closer into Elliot's side.
Tucker sighed and handed them an evidence bag. "We found duct tape, rope, horse tranquilizer,... and lube." He watched as Olivia's eyes widened the slightest bit as Elliot's hands fisted. "He had pictures of you from the past couple of years and a pair of rubber gloves. There was a large hunting knife next to the lube. We are charging Brian with attempted rap and kidnapping of an officer. He is also being charged with having an illegal weapon. I called his unit and they fired him two days ago. He was going to turn in his badge and gun tomorrow."
Elliot held Olivia tighter when she put her face in his chest. "Thanks Tucker. We'll stay in touch." He watched as Cragen and Tucker walked away.
"El, I knew that he wanted to rape me, but... I was surprised to find out what he had in his van. I feel surprised to actually know he was going to rape me." Olivia whispered.
"You couldn't have known. Hell, if I knew this would've happened, I would've shot him back that first year we working together." Elliot breathed and kissed her head. He cupped her face in his hands. "We got him. You are safe. I am never going to let anything bad ever happen to you."
Olivia smiled lightly up at him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I know."
December
Elliot smiled as he walked into his bedroom. "Liv?" He called into the room, figuring she was in the closet or bathroom. "Liv, honey?" He saw the bathroom door closed and opened it, finding his wife sitting in the bathtub. "What are you doing sitting in the tub with no water, fully clothed?"
Olivia shrugged. "I felt like it."
"I have some exciting news for us." Elliot smiled proudly. "We have a new grandson named Brandon. Dickie and Carmela decided to wait until he was born to tell everyone that her water broke. They want us to come to the hospital tomorrow."
"Really?!" Olivia squealed, sitting up straighter.
"Really." Elliot chuckled before she squealed again, not forming any words at all. "So, why did you feel like sitting in the bathtub?"
Olivia looked up at Elliot under her lashes. "I have something to tell you. And, it's a bit of a shock."
Elliot furrowed his eyebrows. "What is it?" He asked, sitting on the edge of the tub.
"Well, I have been feeling strange the past couple of days and so I did something I haven't done in eleven years." Olivia sighed before holding up seven pregnancy tests. "We're pregnant, again."
"Are you sure?" Elliot asked looking at each positive sign on each test.
Olivia rolled her eyes. "Okay, there are seven pregnancy tests there. I was aiming to take ten, but I just can't hold it in order to do that." She put her hands over his. "El, I'm sure."
Elliot slid into the tub to sit beside her. "Wow."
"That's what I said." Olivia breathed, resting her head on his shoulder. "El, Dickie is twenty-four. The twins are going to be eleven in a month. We already have a huge age gap with our kids. The odds of me having twins again are not in our favor since I just had twins. I don't want to have a baby that's all alone. I mean, I already love this baby because it's ours. I just... it'll be hard."
"Yeah, it will." Elliot whispered before kissing Olivia's head. "We could always have another one."
Olivia smiled. "Well, why don't you be the one that blows up like a balloon and then gives birth?"
Elliot laughed. "I'm not built that way. We'll figure it out. This baby is not going to know what to do with all the love it will get." He paused. "We'll have a baby younger than our grandkids."
"That's just weird." Olivia chuckled, putting her forehead on his shoulder. When the chuckling subsided, she rested her chin on his shoulder and looked up at him. "What could this baby possibly throw at us that we don't already know about?"
"What if we got a baby Einstein?" Elliot grinned.
"You two would have a ball." Olivia giggled before rubbing his arm. "Our schedules would certainly become more hectic."
Elliot nodded. "Yeah, they would. But, Dickie is moved out. Summer is back in California for another movie with William and the kids. Kendle is moved out. Zack is hardly here because he's got his license now. The twins are the only ones that are prisoners now."
Olivia smiled lightly. "You miss your daughter."
"Of course I do. That's why we text more than you and I text." Elliot said, playing with the pregnancy tests.
"That's because you always want to sext when we are at work." Olivia laughed, watching him stack the white sticks.
Elliot smirked. "It would make paperwork a lot more fun." He grinned when he put the last stick on the stack he rested on his knees.
"What are you doing with my pregnancy tests? I peed on those. That's gross." Olivia chuckled.
"Okay, one, I know that you had to pee on them. We've been through enough pregnancies for me to know that." Elliot smiled. "Two, we have been married for twenty-five years. I know what the general area of your body looks like and I have done plenty of things down there to not care that I am playing with your pregnancy tests."
Olivia smiled. "You do a lot of things down there. You have gift for what you do down there."
Elliot smirked. "Why thank you. That's probably how we are getting this little troublemaker." He rubbed her flat stomach and kissed her head. "So, I can go down there now if you want me to." He said nonchalantly.
"How about we do that in our bed AFTER the twins are asleep?" Olivia chuckled before kissing him long and hard. She climbed out of the tub and started walking out of the bathroom, leaving Elliot to look at his wife in amazement.
