2021- January

"Well, congratulations to Summer and William! Let's hope this show is a huge success!" One of Summer and William's colleagues said, raising their glass.

"Congratulations to everyone! It wasn't all us." Summer smiled as she stood by William's side, his arm wrapped around her waist.

Elliot grinned at his daughter when she laughed at something William whispered into her ear. He looked at his wife beside him and kissed her temple. "So, are you excited to see our daughter on TV?"

Olivia chuckled and leaned into him. "I am. I am looking forward to seeing our daughter play a cop that is single with a teenage son. It should be quite interesting." She looked around at all of the people in the room. She gasped when Alex and Casey came up behind her and snatched her off her feet. "Woah!"

"Hey, you have not left your husband's side all night. You need girl time." Casey pouted as she kept her arms around Olivia.

"Now, I feel like we are back in high school." Olivia laughed as Alex handed her another drink. "Alex, are you trying to get me drunk?"

Alex smiled mischievously. "I like it when you are drunk. We sing karaoke."

Olivia chuckled. "Alex, we are here to watch the premiere of my daughter's show."

"And, my son." Casey piped in. She pointed over to William and Summer. "Liv, I told you that we would share grandchildren. It was inevitable." Olivia laughed at her best friend before Dickie walked up with Brandon in his arms.

"Hey Mom!" Dickie smiled and kissed her cheek.

Olivia grinned and hugged her son. "Hi sweetie!" She looked at Brandon. "Well hello there buddy! Wanna come see Grandma?" She asked, grinning when Brandon held his arms out towards her. "That's my boy."

Dickie smiled watching his mother play with his son. He kissed Brandon's head. "Are you going to suck up to Grandma?"

"Hey! What's wrong with that?" Olivia asked, cradling the one year old to her chest. "I remember when you were this small. Your father and your uncle Will used to draw on you to help Will study for his tests."

"Well, Hailee and Brandon were not subjected to that." Dickie chuckled and rubbed his mother's back. "How are you doing with the whole baby thing?"

Olivia opened her mouth to speak, but closed it. She watched as Brandon played with her fingers, fighting back the tears that threatened to spill. "It's been hard, but your father and I are taking things a day at a time."

Dickie hugged her again and held her close, wanting to protect her from the hurt she was feeling. "You and Dad still have time to have another baby. Maybe you could give me another little sister."

Olivia laughed into her son's chest and pulled back. "Trust me, Dickie. Your father and I have tried, but we wouldn't trade any one of you boys for another girl."

"Well, we're just that ruggedly handsome." Dickie smirked before Brandon started fussing. "Now you want Mommy. We were just there. Your sister is going to throw a fit and ask to take you back to the hospital again."

Olivia chuckled and handed Brandon over to Dickie before he walked off to find Carmela. She looked up when she felt Elliot's arm wrap around her waist. She smiled seeing those blue eyes she loved so much. "Well, long time no see."

Elliot grinned and kissed her nose. "Yeah, I was starting to wonder where my wife went." He dropped his forehead to hers. "You okay? You didn't look to happy when Dickie was talking to you."

"No, I'm okay. Dickie just asked how I was since we lost the baby." Olivia breathed before dropping her eyes to his chest, avoiding his gaze.

"Hey, hey, you don't need to hide from me, babe." Elliot whispered and rubbed circles on her hip. "It's been hard on both of us. To be honest, I was looking forward to being a father again. When the time is right, we'll have another baby."

Olivia smiled lightly. "So, in other words, when we're least expecting it, we'll get pregnant again?"

Elliot smirked. "Basically."

May

Elliot and Olivia walked into the house, feeling there day weigh onto their shoulders. Today, Cragen announced that he and John were retiring from SVU. This would be their last week and then they would be gone. They were going to have a small retirement party that Friday night at their favorite bar. Zack, Eli, and Oliver were in the living room playing video games. Olivia watched as her husband walked into the kitchen. Running a hand through her hair, she walked into the living room. "Hey guys! How was your day?"

"I dissected a pig today." Zack blurted out, pausing the game and grinning up at his mother.

Olivia chuckled and kissed his forehead. "You really like dissecting things. You should be a doctor or something."

Zack smirked. "I want Melinda's job."

"Wow." Olivia said surprised. "Well, you will be in college this fall so you can look at that as an option." She ruffled the twins' hairs before going into the kitchen to start dinner. She furrowed her eyebrows when she couldn't find Elliot. Her eyes caught something out the sliding glass door. Walking outside, she found Elliot jumping on their trampoline. "Elliot, what are you doing?" She asked before leaning on their railing.

"Jumping. Remember when we first got this. Dickie and Summer wouldn't get off of it." Elliot reminded her as he continued to jump, his suit jacket laying in the grass beside the trampoline.

Olivia remembered the day they brought it home. Dickie and Summer were on it for hours. Elliot had to climb on and grab them before jumping off and taking them into the house. "Yeah, I remember. Kendle learned his soccer moves on the trampoline. Zack jumped off of it to dunk into the basketball hoop. The twins use it as a wrestling mat." She watched as her husband did a backwards flip. "Wow, that was really hot."

Elliot stopped jumping and grinned at her. "Why don't you come join me?"

"You just want to see how many jumps I can do before my boobs fall out of my shirt." Olivia smirked, walking closer to the trampoline.

"Well, that's a plus. I like watching them bounce because it reminds me of when you get mad and ride me." Elliot grinned evilly. Olivia laughed as she stood by the trampoline.

"You sure know how to make a girl feel special." Olivia chuckled. She watched as Elliot walked over to her. "What are you doing?" She squealed when he squatted down and put his hands under her arms, lifting her up.

Elliot grinned at her as he put her down on her feet, keeping his hands under her arms to help her keep balance. "If you won't jump with me, you can dance with me."

Olivia giggled. "Dancing on a trampoline? This is a first. But, we have no music."

"Well, all I have to do is pull out my smart phone which you forced upon me because I need to 'catch up with technology', and pick out a song that I know we both like." Elliot grinned before playing the song 'In My Veins' by Andrew Belle. He started swaying with Olivia and kissed her passionately. "I love you."

"I love you too." Olivia smiled, her forehead dropping to his.
