This is the last chapter of the story. I know it's a really short and sudden ending, but I really don't know how to continue this story (I actually think I should have ended it long ago). Please send me your opinions on it.

"You didn't fucking lose her again, right?!" Misty asked, watching how a panicked Zoe ran through all the room in search of the four year old girl that had escaped from her vigilance when she had got up to get a glass of water.

"God, Misty, don't swear in front of her!"

"She's fucking invisible, how do you even know she's here?"

"Okay everyone, she's four years old, she can't be really far." Queenie said, looking under the dining room table. "Why wasn't she wearing her bracelet?"

"She's a baby, not a cat! I let her take it off so she could play without that bell making such noise."

"Come on, we'll look in this floor. Misty and Queenie, keep looking on the living room, the kitchen and the dining room, and Zoe and I will look in the library, my office and the greenhouse." Cordelia commanded before turning around and crossing the hall. Zoe followed her,

"I didn't want to lose her, Cordelia. I'm really sorry."

"She's an invisible baby, Zoe. She has no control of her powers and doesn't actually know that she's magical." Cordelia said. She had been taking care of the girl most of the time, reading her stories and letting her sleep in the office couch when the headmistress had to work, and when she found it impossible to watch after the girl it was Misty who took care of her. Nothing had gone wrong during four weeks, until that morning neither had been able to spend time with the little girl. Queenie had refused to help, saying that she had to study if she wanted to get into college, but Zoe and Kyle had offered as volunteers. 'Everything is going to be fine' they had said before the Supreme and Misty left to visit the house they had just bought. Cordelia had big plans for that mansion; she wanted to build classrooms so it would be like a smaller version of a high school and they didn't need to have the girls taking turns to use the common spaces of the buildings. After spending two hours in the empty mansion, planning what to do with the unfinished rooms at first and then making out like teenagers, they had received a call from Zoe hysterically explaining that she couldn't find the baby girl. "Taking her bell off was really unintelligent from you." was the only thing the Supreme said.

"I know, I'm sorry!" Zoe said again before starting to check that there was no one hidden under the chairs.

"Found her!" Queenie said from upstairs. Cordelia started running upstairs instantly, skipping some steps even though she wore heels, followed by the other three witches. Almost at the end of the corridor, Queenie was standing on the door, looking into one of the bedrooms. Cordelia finally arrived next to her, she couldn't give credit to what she was seeing. Madison was asleep on her bed, wearing a loose black dress. She had almost no make up on, and her hair was tied up in a ponytail. Lying between her arms was Ivy, hugging a gator plush with her eyes closed and her hair covering half of her face. Ivy. Sometimes her skin seemed to twinkle, becoming invisible and reappearing again with every breath she took. The witches observed the scene with both relief and confusion. Madison had never liked kids. She had actually never liked people. But in the last weeks her behavior had started to soften, to the point that she had stopped mocking everyone around her. The theories that ran through the house went from that she had decided to become a decent person to that she was high. The Supreme, who had decided to make an exception and use her powers to read the girl's mind, only to discover that the girl felt specially happy since Ivy had got there. The headmistress smiled and made everyone leave the room before walking to the bedside table and leave the bell bracelet there and walking outside again, quietly closing the door after her.

Everything is going to be okay, she thought as she walked downstairs and asked Misty to go and spend the evening in their swamp, far from the girls and the academy. Now that they were sure the girls were all okay, the only thing that mattered to them was to finish what they had started that morning.
