I feel so bad. It's been awhile since I updated this. Life just got in the way. -
Even though he knew he wasn't meeting Cas until later that same day. He was already manically trying on outfits. He wasn't sure why. He usually didn't try this this hard when he was meeting a girl. He just threw on his leather jacket, a plaid shirt, jeans and a plain shirt underneath it. Then just before he would leave the house to go on a date with a girl he would put on the necklace Sammy gave him for christmas a while back. What how did his mind go from meeting to date. It was not a date Dean thought. Dates were reserved for chicks only. Meeting were for dudes really attractive dudes but still dudes. Still he would gladly make an exception for Cas. No, no exceptions. Cas was most likely straight. Even if he was gay, he was probably a complete and total closet case and would probably tell everyone that Dean's gay. Which is so not the case. He's totally bi. He digs chicks and dicks. Nope he's just going treat like this a rather get together with friends. No not even friends. Like he's going out to eat with Sam.
Nothing in his wardrobe seemed to work. It wasn't good enough. Maybe he could ask Sam for advice. He would know what to do right? He's the only way that really pays attention to his clothes when they go out shopping. Of course he would probably make fun of him but that's what brothers do. They help each other out. Getting ready for a "meeting" isn't that different.
"Hey, Sam." He said knocking on his door.
There wasn't an answer.
"Sam you better be in there."
Again there was no answer.
"Come on, Sam I really need your help."
"What do you need, Dean?" Sam asked as he opened his door.
"I'm meeting this person and I have no idea what to wear."
"Let me guess really hot girl."
"Well sort of." Dean said. Cas was really hot. He just wasn't a girl.
"What do you mean sort of? Actually you know what I really don't care." He said as Dean opened his mouth to explain. That was cool that Sam didn't want to know. He kind of didn't want to tell Sam what was going on. Not that he wasn't out to his brother or Bobby. Please, they knew that something was going on with some of the boys that he brought him. He just never made a formal announcement. He didn't feel the need to.
"So that does mean that you're going to help me?"
"I can't. I'm meeting up with Ruby and Lucifer. Notice the fact that I have shoes on."
"Lucifer? Who the fuck is Lucifer."
"He's just a friend of Ruby's."
"Sam, You probably shouldn't hang out with people named after Satan." Dean said "I mean I thought it was obvious but you perhaps you needed to be reminded."
"Oh be quiet Dean. You don't know him."
"Oh like you do."
"I know him better than you do."
"You know what fine. Go have a fucking playdate with Satan. Start the apocalypse for all I care."
"Maybe I will." Sam said as he headed for the door.
"How are you going to get there? Because I'm sure as hell not driving you.
"I don't you need to. By the way I don't your permission" Sam said as he slammed the door.
"Yes you did." Dean said even though he knew that Sam was gone. He let a sigh. He really didn't like the idea of Sam hanging out with Ruby and Satan. He probably should go after him but Sam would kill him if he found out that he followed him. Whatever, Sammy's a big boy now. If he wanted to hang out with Evil and Eviller than there was nothing he could do. Even though he wanted to do it. He looked at the clock. He needed to get ready for his "meeting" with Cas.
