So, to be clear I skipped the whole Gollum scene. It doesn't add anything to my story and retyping it takes a lot of time and is quite boring to be honest. I hope you guys don't mind.

And thank you for al the new followers/favourites and reviews! It really means a lot to me!

Bronwyn ran towards the light, the golden ring firmly placed on her finger. She could hear Gollum screaming behind her, screaming her name but she did not care. She finally reached the source of the light and ran into the forest. She saw Thorin and the company running through the caves earlier so, she knew they weren't far ahead of her. She ran through the trees and down the hill when she heard voices. She followed the sound and was relieved to hear Gandalf's voice through the trees.

''Where is our Hobbit? Has anyone seen the Hobbit?'' Gandalf looked around with a worried face. Thorin felt a pang of guilt in his stomach. He hadn't noticed that the Hobbit wasn't with them in the caves. Gandalf looked at the dwarves for answers but no one seemed to know where she was. Until Norí stepped forward. ''I saw him slip away when the Goblins took us.''

''What happened exactly? Tell me what happened!'' Gandalf demanded.

Thorin thought back at the harsh words he had said to the Hobbit.

''I'll tell you exactly what happened. Master Baggins saw his change and he took it! He thought of nothing but his soft bed from the moment he stepped out of the door. We will not see our Hobbit again.'' He really hoped that was the case. He really hoped that the Hobbit would find his way back home where he could be safe. ''He is long gone.'' Thorin said forceful, not sure if it was to convince the company or himself.

It was quiet for a moment and Bronwyn stood dead in her tracks. Still invisible but close enough to hear Thorin spat out those words. For a moment, only a slight moment she thought about running away. Away from all of this, all of the fighting, the killing, the misery... Away from him.

How easy it would be. Just walking away without ever seeing those insolent dwarves again.

Thorin turned towards the trees and Bronwyn could see his face more clearly now. He looked tired and almost defeated. This quest was everything to him, she knew that. How long he must have dreamed about reclaiming his homeland and giving his kin a place to live. He can't afford mistakes, of course he was going to be strict on her. She hadn't really shown him what she was capable of but she wasn't going to stop now! Oh no sir, she will knock his socks off if that's what it takes!

''No, he isn't.'' Bronwyn stepped from behind the tree and quietly slipped the ring into her pocket. The dwarves quickly turned around in surprise.

Gandalf smiled in relief. ''Dear Bilbo, I haven't been so happy to see anyone in my life.''

''How in hell did you get past the Goblins?'' Fíli asked bewildered.

''Ah, well.'' She hadn't really thought about how she was going to answer that question. She placed her hand protectively over her pocket and felt the cold ring through the thin fabric.

Gandalf's eyes glanced over her hand for a moment. ''What does it matter. He's back!'' He said quickly.

''It matters..'' Bronwyn turned to face Thorin. He hadn't said anything, until now. He took a step forward and his stormy blue eyes looked deep into her brown ones. He didn't look angry or tired anymore, he just looked curious and maybe hopeful. ''Why did you come back?'' His voice was soft. Bronwyn felt her heart flutter at the low sound.

''I know you doubt me. I know you always have. Yes, I'm just a silly little Hobbit who thinks about home now and then. But do not think not for a moment that I don't want to be here. That I don't want to help you. I have a home, but that's the reason why I came back... Because you don't have one, a home. And I will help you take it back, everywhere I can.''

Thorin just stood there looking at her and Bronwyn could only look at back at him. His brows relaxed for a moment, trying to say something. But something interrupted him, a loud howling sound screeched through the trees.

He looked through the trees to see if he could see anything. ''Out of the frying pan-''

''And into the fire. Run RUN!'' Gandalf shouted.

They started running again, down the hill and crass cross trough the rocks and trees. The Wargs were right behind them snarling and growling.

One of the Wargs caught up with Bronwyn and jumped in front of her. She stood eye to eye with the beast for a moment, the beast charged at her. She pulled out her sword and pointed it in front of her towards the beast. The Warg collided with her sword with great force and it pierced right through his jaw and fell dead to the ground.

The dwarves fought the other Wargs off and continued to run towards the end of a cliff.

''Up into the trees! Come on al of you!'' Gandalf shouted. The dwarves did as they were told and climbed into the tall trees that stood on the edge of the cliff. Bronwyn quickly jumped into the trees and climbed up. She used to climb trees a lot when she was a kid so she was at the top in no time.

She looked down at the Warg circling around the trees when she saw a white Warg approaching. The Orc who was riding it looked nothing like the other Orcs she had seen.

''Azog.'' Bronwyn heard Thorin say his name in horror.

The pale Orc that was him. But how could he be here... Thorin had defeated him a long time ago did he not?

''It can not be...'' Bronwyn turned around and saw Thorin's devastated face. She could not imagine how he must feel at this moment. This thing had killed his grandfather. For all those years he thought he had avenged him but now it turns out he is still alive.

The Wargs charged again and jumped into the trees trying to snatch the dwarves from the branches. The trees weren't strong enough to handle the weight and were starting to fall over. One by one thwy fell until there was only one tree standing. All of the dwarves hung in the branches like Christmas decoration.

Gandalf grabbed some pine cones and lit them on fire. He threw them on the ground and the Wargs squealed in fear and pain. The ground was ablaze in no time and the Wargs ran for their lives.

The dwarves cheered at their victory and Bronwyn smiled in relief when she saw the beasts ran off. But then even this tree lost his strength and started to fall over the cliff. Everyone grabbed on tight but the tree sunk further and further down.

Azog laughed at the struggling dwarves until Throin met his gaze. His arch enemy was just standing there, alive after all this time. He went blind with rage. He got up from the tree and walked over the trunk. He ran through the fire with his sword and a tree branch for protection, facing his enemy. Ready to kill, but it was in vain. Thorin was so blinded with anger that he could not fight properly.

Bronwyn could only watch in horror how Azog beat Thorin to the ground. The white Warg picked him up and threw him against the rocks. He's hurt, he can't get up. Another Orc jumped off his Warg and made his way towards Thorin. He was going to lose. He was never going to get home, he was going to die.

Bronwyn felt her body move on his own. She pulled out her sword and ran to him, she ran as fast as she could. The Orc put his sword at Thorin's throat. He tried to reach his sword but it was to far away for him to reach. The Orc lifted his sword and he knew this must be the end for him when suddenly something flew out of nowhere and hit the Orc to the ground. The last thing he saw was the Hobbit fighting the Orc when he fell unconscious.

Bronwyn got up from the dead Orc she had just killed and jumped in front of the Pale Orc ,blocking his way between him and Thorin. She quickly glanced around to look at the unconscious dwarf and saw to her relief that he was still breathing. She faced the Pale Orc again and raised her sword higher. Knowing she didn't stand a chance against him, praying dearly for a miracle and scolding herself for doing something so stupid on her own.

She braced herself for what ever was coming next when a loud screech came from the sky. She looked up and saw huge eagles flying over them. They plucked the dwarves one by one out of the trees and threw the remaining Wargs over the edge. One eagle carefully took Thorin into his claws and flew away. Bronwyn was amazed by the beautiful creatures and gladly let them take her into the sky. She soared through the clouds on the back of the eagle. The sun was setting and the skies turned orange. She breathed in the fresh air, feeling safe for a moment. She looked over at the eagle carrying the still unconscious Thorin.

They flew through a valley with a tall rock in the centre. The eagles soared towards the rock and gently placed Thorin on the flat surface. Gandalf hurried over to his side but he still wasn't awake. Bronwyn felt her heart beating like crazy and almost felt sick with worry. Gandalf placed his hand on Thorin's face and mumbled something she couldn't understand.

Thorin's eyes slowly opened. ''The Halfling...'' his voice creaked and he sounded very tired.

Gandalf smiled. ''It's alright. Bilbo is here.''

He was alright! She let out a sigh and felt her worry fade away. Thorin got up and looked at her with a stern look.

''You..!'' Bronwyn's heart skipped a beat.

''What were you doing?'' He continued.

''W-what..?'' Bronwyn felt nervous, not really seeing where this was going.

''You nearly got yourself killed.''

''W-Well.. You're one to talk-'' Trying to defend herself.

''Did I not say that you would be a burden-'' Thorin stepped closer.

''That you would not survive in the wild. That you have no place amongst us'' He stood right in front of her but she did not move away. If he had something to say he could say it. Bronwyn clenched her fists and prepared herself for what was coming.

''I have never been so wrong in my entire life.'' Thorin took one step closer invading her personal space and wrapped his arms around her shoulders.

Bronwyn definitely did not expect that. She was so confused that she didn't know what to do for a few moments. She slowly raised her hands and placed them on his back. She couldn't help but smile at his chest. He was warm and big and Bronwyn felt even smaller then she already did. Her heart was beating so loud that she was surprised that he didn't hear it. He released his grip and hold her at arm length.

''I'm sorry I doubted you.'' He looked at her with the sweetest smile she had ever seen on him. Bronwyn felt her cheeks turning red hot and could her bloody heart please stop hammering before she gets a heart attack!

''That's okay. I knew you'd turn around eventually.'' She gave him a playful smirk and a small push, covering up her embarrassment. He grinned back at her and looked at something behind her. She turned around and saw it. The lonely mountain, their home.

Hope you enjoyed it! I'm not great with fighting scenes so please forgive me.

Question for you al! What do you think Thorin would do when he finds out? Will he be angry/sad/happy/none of the above? I'm really interested to know what you guys think.

As always please please follow/favourite/review!
