The Wayfinders' Series

This is Halloween Part 1

A/N- Yeah... a Halloween special in February, let's do it!

"TRICK OR TREAT!"

"Oh, how lovely you children all look. Very scary." Kairi's Grandmother cooed. "How about some treats? Candied Apples?"

"YAY!"

"Thanks, Grandma!" The little red-head smiled as she Riku and Sora accepted the special treats at her doorstep.

"All of this sugary candy... I suppose it won't hurt since those baby teeth will fall out soon anyway." Eraqus chuckled.

"All of my teeth are going to fall out?!" Sora exclaimed in a panic.

You see, Halloween was a time of great fun and great rewards. A time full of ghouls and monsters where the darkness has a certain edge on this infamous night, so Eraqus took the three young children to Radiant Garden to go trick or treating.

Sora was Superman, fitting for his name and the red spray-painted 'S' he had on his shirt... no just kidding, his costume was legit. We got SuperSora.

Riku had a slightly darker costume, one that had a black cape, and he wore plastic vampire teeth in his mouth which made it extremely difficult to talk with. Yup, little Riku was Dracula.

"I wantsss sstoo sssuck ya blad!" He attempted to frighten the old lady, but only managed to spit and slurp some saliva which made the elder chuckle.

Kairi was a little princess of course in a pink dress and with a long pointy hat... which was a little too big on her...

"Riku! Sora! What do you say?" Eraqus crossed his arms in his Joker costume which looked REALLY good by the way. He had the purple suit and make-up and everything.

"Thank you!" Riku and Sora blindly thanked and ran off to the next house.

"Why didn't everyone else want to come with us?" Kairi inquired from her senior.

"I'm sure they all felt a little too old for this sort of thing." Eraqus smiled warmly (which was weird for the Joker.) "More candy for us then."

Terra, Aqua, Vanitas, and Lea were sitting in the living room of the Castle in the Land of Departure. They had a giant 60 inch television in front of them as they all shared the couch, save for Vanitas who sat in his own chair off to the side.

"Halloween... what a stupid holiday..." Vanitas sneered. "Only thing good about it is scaring the kids."

"Vanitas!" Aqua was appalled but not surprised. "Maybe it's a good thing the children aren't here then."

"Come on Van," Lea smirked. "This is when the night comes alive and it scares the fudge outta ya. Lots of cool stuff is almost like tradition tonight. Got it memorized?"

"Like egging and throwing toilet paper at other peoples' houses?" Terra guessed.

"Wha? No. We need all the toilet paper we can get in this Castle!" Lea joked. "And for your information, I like my eggs."

"Eggs can be very good for you." Aqua agreed with a motherly tone.

"I'm sure they aren't as good as Vanitas's cookies. What do you call them again?" Then Terra remembered. "Oh yeah! Van the Man?"

"HAHAHAhaha!" They all laughed to Vanitas's dismay.

Lea advertised for the product with a jiggle. "Start the plan, with Van the Man, cookies even in the can!"

"Shut up! Everyone has hobbies..." Vanitas grumbled as he sank deeper into his chair as they continued to tease him.

"Guys! Guysguysguysguysguys!" Ven was hyped up, probably sneaked some sugar from somewhere... "HEY guys! Are you listening?!"

"What?!"

"Let's watch this scary movie." The young blonde suggested as he pulled out a copy of... Texas Chainsaw Massacre...

"Yes! I dare all of you to watch it!" Lea applauded.

"Absolutely not!" Aqua shook her head. "That's way too violent!"

"Come on, Aqua. It's Halloween, live a little." Terra playfully nudged and she reluctantly agreed. "Vanitas, you up for it?"

Van sighed, indicating that he was indifferent. "Yeah, why not? Better than doing nothing..."

"On with the movie!" Ven declared as he turned to the DVD player... "Uh... guys?"

"What is it Ven?" Aqua replied.

"Do we still have a VHS player somewhere?"

Terra face-palmed, "Just grab the one from Master Eraqus's room."

And the blonde was off in a flash, still running off his sugar high.

A/N- I hope you get why I made Master Eraqus dress up as the Joker ;)
Let's see if any of our heroes are tough enough to get through this movie... with the lights out... on Halloween night... *thunders* Stay tuned... (Part 2 will be much longer.)
