Akhil100 here! This is yet another chapter for this story. Before that, I need to tell you that I made a quick update last week. I changed Aki's name from Akhil Palissery to Akhil Blaze. Using my own name had a bit of issues and the surname Blaze suits the story much more. Anyways, this chapter will be the last in the Fighting Tournament arc. Read the chapter to see who will win it! First, let's see the last chapter's main events.

Chapter 12 – It's all about Elites!
Main Arena
"Conkeldurr, use Hammer Arm!" Marshal commanded. His Conkeldurr placed its pillars down and charged at his opponent for a power-packed punch.
The battle between Unovian Elite Four member Marshal and Hoenn Frontier Brain Greta had just started. The audience were cheering nonstop for their favourite Trainer. Aki and Flame were also among them.
"Medicham, use your Confusion to stop in his tracks!" Greta countered. Her Medicham raised her hand and a blue aura surrounded Conkeldurr. Conkeldurr suddenly became unable to move and was lifted up in the air.
"Now use Focus Punch!" Greta ordered. Medicham made a praying gesture and her fist started to glow white. She then did an uppercut on the mid-air Conkeldurr.
"Medicham, it's time to double your power. Meditate!" Greta commanded. Medicham became surrounded by pinkish aura and she lifted herself from the ground with her psychic abilities. She then started to meditate.
"Fling your pillars at her!" Marshal commanded.
Conkeldurr walked back towards his pillars and picked them up. He then jumped up and threw the pillars one after the other at Medicham with a lot of force. The pillars hit Medicham and knocked her out from her meditation.
"Medicham, they are trying to get smart. Show them your power! Use the elemental punches!" Greta commanded.
Medicham moved closer to Conkeldurr and did a quick triple punch with the elemental punches. But Conkeldurr dodged the punches and grabbed Medicham by the arm. He then lifted Medicham in the air with hands.
"Superpower!" Marshal commanded loudly.
Conkeldurr spun Medicham around in his hands two times and then threw her down on his knees, breaking her back and instantly knocking her out.
"Medicham is unable to battle, Conkeldurr wins! And the winner of the battle, Marshal from Unova, can battle in the finals!" The referee declared.
"Amazing! Conkeldurr once again showed us the meaning of power!" The commentator said.
"Wow! Did you see what he just did! I have seen that somewhere before, I'm sure of it" Aki said to Flame. Flame, with his mouth agape, nodded. They were not the only ones in the stadium who had their mouth agape.
Marshal congratulated Conkeldurr and returned him to his Pokéball. He then walked towards Greta and exchanged bows with her. They then raised their hands at the gallery to receive cheers. They then left the arena through opposite exits.
Saffron City
Aki and Flame were taking a walk around the city. They visited the store and bought some supplies. They then ate from a restaurant and now they were just walking around aimlessly. Suddenly, Aki noticed Mr. Psychic rushing into the Saffron Dojo. He too tried entering the dojo but a guard blocked him.
"Members only!" The guard said. "But I'm with Mr. Psychic" Aki tried to convince him. "Sorry, but you're not allowed to go inside right now" The guard still didn't allow him to enter.
"Something big is going inside there, Flame. I'm sure of it" Ai told Flame. They then waited in front of the dojo for about an hour. Mr. Psychic then came out of the dojo with several other men. Aki ran towards him.
"What happened? Is it about Z again?" Aki asked. Mr. Psychic nodded.
"You're friend just got into a lot of trouble!" Mr. Psychic said letting out a sigh.
"I know you won't tell me right now. So, shall we go to the stadium? Your battle is going to start in an hour. Don't you have to prepare for it?" Aki asked. Mr. Psychic simply smiled and nodded and followed Aki as he walked towards the stadium.
Main Arena
"The battle between Bruno and Mr. Psychic from Kanto is about to begin!" The referee said out loud. "Are the two sides ready?"
Bruno let out his powerful Machamp and Mr. Psychic let out his Gallade. Gallade bowed before his opponent as he came out. The Trainers then nodded at the referee. "Then let the battle begin!"
"Who will come out as Kanto's best fighter? Let's see, folks!" The commentator said.
"Machamp, use Fire Punch!" Bruno ordered. "Block it! And then use Swords Dance!" Mr. Psychic countered the attack.
Gallade crossed his arms in an X-shape in front of his chest to block the fiery punch and then moved a step back from Machamp. The blades in Gallade's elbows extended and he spun around for a few times. His body started to glow blue as jumped up and then landed on the ground with huge power that caused the ground to break.
"Now use Leaf Blade!" Mr. Psychic commanded. Gallade's elbow blades started to glow green and he slashed Machamp a few times with them.
"Machamp, grab him and use Vital Throw!" Bruno commanded.
"Ma-Champ!" Machamp said as he grabbed Gallade and threw him at the arena wall with huge force. "Quick, use Teleport!" Mr. Psychic cried out. Gallade saved himself by quickly teleporting away before crashing in to the arena wall.
"Zen Headbutt!" Mr. Psychic called for the attack. Gallade appeared a few feet behind Machamp and then launched himself at Machamp while being covered in pinkish aura. The battering ram attack hit Machamp's back and hurt him badly.
"Machamp, use Revenge!" Bruno commanded. He was looking for the best opportunity to use the counter attack.
"CHAMP!" Machamp suddenly became surrounded in orange aura. He then released this aura as a shockwave that blasted Gallade across the battlefield.
"Gallade, get up and use Psycho Cut!" Mr. Psychic commanded.
Gallade got up and charged at Machamp with his elbow blades glowing. He then started to slash Machamp repeatedly. But Machamp blocked the strikes with his four arms. "Use Karate Chop and then use Focus Punch!" Bruno ordered. Machamp did a karate chop at Gallade's left leg which caused Gallade to fall to his knees in pain. Machamp then punched Gallade in the face with Focus Punch.
"Gal…" Gallade's voice was weak but he still tried to get up and succeeded in that. He then looked at Mr. Psychic. "Right, it's time to finish this! Gallade, use Close Combat!" Mr. Psychic commanded. "Catch him and then use the Quadruple Combo Punch!" Bruno countered.
Gallade moved closer to Machamp and threw powerful punches at him at great speed. Machamp took the first few hits but then caught Gallade's hands with his upper pair of arms. He used his lower pair of arms to push Gallade a few feet away from him.
Machamp then pressed his palms and made a gesture similar to praying. He then started to use his special combo like how he did it in his previous battle. Machamp's four arms became covered in white energy, electricity, fire and blue energy. He then hit Gallade with each of arms and then finished him off with a Cross Chop. Gallade fell to his knees and then fainted from exhaustion.
"Gallade is unable to battle, Machamp is the winner! And the winner of the battle, Bruno, can battle in the finals!" The referee declared.
"Here we have it, our winner, Bruno! I think Mr. Psychic was in a hurry to end the battle. But he did fight well!" The commentator said. Bruno's fans chanted his name from the gallery. Aki and Flame, who were also in the gallery, were silent as they wanted Mr. Psychic to win.
"You did well, Gallade! Now take a good rest" Mr. Psychic told his Gallade. Gallade bowed before him and was then called back into his Pokéball.
"Is something wrong, Mr. Psychic? I never thought I could win against you" Bruno said coming towards him. He had recalled his Machamp and repeated his question: "Is something wrong?"
"It's nothing, Bruno. You won because of your power and skills. Congratulations!" Mr. Psychic said offering a handshake. Bruno shook his hand gladly and waved at his fans in the gallery. Mr. Psychic did the same and they both then left the arena.
Saffron City Pokémon Center (2 hours later)
Aki and Flame were waiting for Nurse Joy at the counter. She had left them standing for 5 minutes. She then came back and asked for Aki's Xtransceiver. Aki handed it over to her and she started to type something into the computer on her counter.
"Here, I have installed the PWC Location app!" She said handing over the Xtransceiver to Aki. "With this app, you can locate the cities where the PWC tournaments are being held" She explained.
Aki checked his Xtransceiver to make sure. The app showed his current position in Saffron City along with 3 red marks in Saffron, Celadon and Vermillion cities. The red marks indicated the cities where the tournaments were being held at.
"Thank you Nurse Joy!" Aki said with a smile which Nurse Joy returned.
"Let's check where the next tournament is" Aki checked the app. He learned that the Poison tournament was being held at Celadon city.
"After the finals, let's go to Celadon city. What do you say, Flame?" Aki asked. Flame smiled at him.
Main Arena
"This is it, the final round of the second Fighting tournament of PWC sponsored by Silph Co. I just can't stand still with all this excitement!" The commentator said. It was the same commentator from Bruno and Korrina's battle.
What he said was true. The final round of the tournament was about to begin in the stadium. Cheers kept rising from the gallery. Aki and Flame were also among them. They cheered for Marshal who was from Unova like them.
"First, let's invite the competitors to the arena!" The commentator said. "The man who is in love with his body - Bruno!" Cheers doubled in the gallery. Some started to laugh at the commentator's joke.
Everyone looked at the left side of the arena to see Bruno entering the arena with his Machamp. Bruno raised his hand at the gallery to receive a lot of cheers and applause.
"Next up is the man who respects and devotes power – Marshal!" Everyone looked at the right side of the arena to see Marshal entering the arena with his Conkeldurr. Conkeldurr put down the pillars on the floor with a thud which caused cheers and applause to rise from the gallery.
"Yes, the two Bulks who are equally matched in power. I always wanted to see a battle between these two. Do you know one thing? My grandma used to tell me that Arceus created Conkeldurr when he saw that Machamp was so overrated. So that makes it a remake or copy of Machamp" The commentator said. His joke received laughs from the gallery as usual. "So who would win – the original or the improved one?"
"Champ…" Machamp cracked his knuckles with his two pair of arms and glanced at Conkeldurr.
"Durr…" Conkeldurr, on the other hand, was confident and returned the glance.
"The battle between Bruno from Kanto and Marshal from Unova is about to begin! Are the two Trainers ready?" The referee asked. The two Trainers nodded at him. "Then let the battle begin!" The referee said loudly.
"Machamp, use Ice Punch!" Bruno made the first move. His Machamp charged at Conkeldurr and threw an icy punch at him. But Conkeldurr blocked it using the pillars.
"Conkeldurr, use Bulk Up!" Marshal commanded. Conkeldurr became surrounded by crimson aura and then he flexed his muscles, making them look larger and harder. "Now use Hammer Arm!"
Conkeldurr put down the pillars and went into direct attack. He punched Machamp straight in the stomach which caused him to crash into the arena wall. "Now use Dynamic Punch!" Marshal followed up with another command. Conkeldurr grabbed Machamp and punched him in the stomach once again. He then grabbed Machamp again and threw him into the air.
"Follow it up with Smack Down!" Marshal planned to finish his well-known combo. Conkeldurr grabbed his pillars and jumped above Machamp to attack him.
"Machamp, use Revenge!" Bruno ordered quickly.
Machamp opened his eyes and started to glow with orange aura. When Conkeldurr was near him, Machamp released the aura in an explosion that blinded everyone in the stadium. When everyone regained their eyesight, they saw Conkeldurr and Machamp on the battleground. They were breathing heavily and had taken a lot of injuries.
"Machamp, are you ok?" Bruno asked. "Mach!" His Machamp said in a determined tone.
"Alright then, Machamp, use Focus Punch!" He ordered. Machamp made a gesture similar to praying and started charging his attack. "Now's our chance! Conkeldurr, use Fling!" Marshal commanded.
Conkeldurr threw his pillars at Machamp with a lot of force. But to everyone's surprise, Machamp quickly opened his eyes and stopped and caught the pillars with his upper arms. Machamp threw the pillars on the ground and glared at Conkeldurr. Conkeldurr blinked his eyes and the second thing he knew was that Machamp had grabbed his neck. Machamp lifted Conkeldurr up in the air and punched him in the stomach. The punch's force caused Conkeldurr to crash into the arena's wall like Machamp did.
"I only three words to say. A-MA-ZING!" The commentator said.
"Have you started to fear me yet?" Bruno asked Marshal. "Talk to yourself. I only fear myself. And you are about to see why" Marshal said before making a command, "Conkeldurr, get up and use Superpower!"
"You too, use Superpower!" Bruno too made the same command.
"Champ!/Keldurr!" The two muscular Pokémon ran into each other and clashed at the middle of the battleground. They started to push each other with all their power but neither of them moved an inch due to their powers being equal. But in the end, Machamp used his lower pair of arms to punch Conkeldurr in the stomach a few times and took the opportunity turn Conkeldurr around and did a neck lock. Machamp's four arms strangled Conkeldurr and he almost ran out of air. Machamp then did a neck breaker move.
"And that's what I call wrestling!" The commentator said.
"Conkeldurr, stay strong!" Marshall called out. Conkeldurr, who could barely breathe, tried his best to get up and succeeded.
"Machamp, finish it off with Vital Throw!" Bruno ordered.
Machamp charged at Conkeldurr and grabbed him. Machamp then spun around with Conkeldurr to throw him at the arena wall. But Conkeldurr quickly reacted by taking hold of Machamp at the last moment and crashing him in to the arena wall.
"Conkeldurr, use Strength!" Marshal commanded.
"Con… Kell…" Conkeldurr lifted Machamp with his hands and then threw him at the other side of the battleground. Machamp took a lot of damage but managed to get up. He then glared at his opponent.
"Now Machamp, attack!" Bruno gave a senseless command. Machamp charged at Conkeldurr. "Block it!" Marshal ordered.
Conkeldurr used his pillars to block the attack but Machamp stopped right in front of him and used his four arms to separate the pillars from Conkeldurr. The next thing Machamp shocked everyone, including Marshal and Conkeldurr.
"That's impossible!" Words escaped the commentator's mouth accidentally.
Machamp had crushed one of the pillars in his hands as if they were made of clay. He blew away the remaining pile of dust at Conkeldurr's face. Conkeldurr's face was filled with horror and shock.
"Now finish it off with Cross Chop!" Bruno gave off his final command.
Machamp crossed his lower arms in an x-shape and slashed Conkeldurr with them. Conkeldurr stood for a few seconds after the taking the attack and then fell to the ground.
"Conkeldurr is unable to battle, Machamp wins! And the winner of the tournament is Bruno from Kanto!" The referee declared. The audience erupted into cheers on hearing that.
"So the original one won after all. That was an excellent battle for sure! Let's give a big round of applause for our winner – Bruno!" The commentator said. Loud applause for Bruno rose from the gallery.
"Good work Machamp" Bruno walked towards Machamp and patted his shoulder.
"You tried your best Conkeldurr. We will beat them next time" Marshal consoled his Pokémon. Conkeldurr, although a bit sad about the loss of one of his beloved pillars, lightened up a bit.
Bruno and Machamp walked towards their opponents. "I'm sorry about the pillar. I hope he can make a new one" Bruno said. Marshal replied, "Of course he can. Great battle anyway. You are one of the best opponents I had in years." Marshal offered a handshake with Bruno which he accepted gladly.
"Durr-Conkeldurr" Conkeldurr said something to Machamp after which they too shook hands. Their Trainers then raised their hands at their fans in the gallery which received many cheers. The two Trainers then left the arena through opposite exits.
Stadium (2 hours later)
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen! We have gathered here for the awards ceremony of the winner of the second PWC Fighting tournament – Bruno!" The female announcer said. The gallery was filled with people. There were a few men on the ground too. The announcer continued, "Let's invite Mr. Silph and the mayor of Saffron city to hand over the trophy to our winner" The said persons were already on the stage.
"Now, let's invite our winner, the Fighting champion – Bruno!" The announcer said. Bruno and his Machamp entered the stadium from the left side. He bowed before the mayor and gladly accepted the trophy from him. The trophy was of golden colour with a Lucario, Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan crafted on it. Bruno lifted the trophy high which received many cheers and applause from the gallery.
"Thank you all for this wonderful moment. I must thank my dear partner, Machamp, who have been with me till this day" Bruno made a small speech and once again bowed before everyone. After the award ceremonies, everyone left the stadium leaving it for cleanup.

That's it! I'm glad the tournament is over. 'Cause it took me so long to write it with all the battles. I would like to see if my hard work paid off in the reviews. And one more thing, Bulk is the Pokémon version of Marvel's Hulk. I might write a Pokémon-Avengers crossover story soon with Iron Mon, Bulk, Thorndurus, Captain Unova, the Black Ariados and the Swelloweye in it as the 'Pokevengers'. Some of them might make an appearance in this story as well.
