Hey there reader, Akhil100 here! I once again present you with another new chapter of Pokémon Blaze. In this one, Aki learns some good and bad news from Mr. Psychic about Z and this story's main villainous group – Team Alpha. Team Alpha is a team made by me for this story and their leader is Lord Alpha. That's enough spoilers. Let's first see the main things that happened in last chapter.

Main Events of Last Chapter

1. Marshal defeated Greta and advanced to the finals.

2. Bruno defeated Mr. Psychic and advanced to the finals.

3. The Fighting Tournament ends with Bruno defeating Marshal in the final round.

Chapter 13 – Hidden Secrets!

Saffron City Pokémon Center

Aki was talking to his mom Sandra via the video chat system in the Pokémon Center. He had Flame and Sawk by his side.

"And Aki, I want to tell you something. Your sister came home 2 days ago from Sinnoh" His mom said.

"Jane? Is she there right now?" Aki asked. He shared a love-hate relationship with his sister Jane. They would fight very often over even the simplest matters.

"No, she went to Nimbasa City to meet a friend of her" Sandra said. "So what is it that you wanted to tell me?" Aki asked.

"She arranged a vacation for us in Kalos. Oh the shining city of Lumoise! I always wanted to visit the Prism tower!" Sandra quickly got taken away by the very thought of the beautiful Kalos region.

"So you want me to come?"

"If you could"

"I would love to. But sorry mom, I have got to win PWC. Did you talk to dad about this?"

"Oh yes, yes! He will be coming with us. It would be more fun if you could come too. But it's alright. Say hi to Flame for me" Sandra said. Although she managed to make up a smile, she was a bit disappointed that Aki can't come.

Flame jumped onto Aki's shoulder and grinned at the screen. Sandra returned the smile and said, "You were great out there Sawk. I saw you on TV." Sawk bowed his head before her.

"Good luck in your next tournament, dear" She said to Aki. "Thank you mom" Aki said before the screen went black. He stood up and turned towards Sawk.

"We have to return you, mister" Aki went towards Nurse Joy at the counter and said, "Nurse Joy, we are here to return Sawk."

"Alright, return him to his Pokéball first" Nurse Joy instructed. Aki shared one last hug with Sawk and said, "You were great, Sawk. It was amazing to battle with you." "Saw-Sawk" Sawk replied with a bow and Aki returned him to his Pokéball. He then handed over the Pokéball to Nurse Joy. He then walked out of the Pokémon Center and suddenly remembered something.

"Don't we have to meet Mr. Psychic?" Aki asked Flame. Flame nodded and the two then set off to the Saffron Dojo where Mr. Psychic was.

Saffron Dojo

Aki knocked on the door and a lady opened it. "You must be Akhil. Come in" She said and moved to the side for Aki to enter the Dojo. "Mr. Psychic is waiting for you in the training room"

Aki and Flame walked into the training room to see Mr. Psychic meditating on a mat on the floor. Aki too joined him and sat down on the mat. Mr. Psychic opened his and took a good look at him.

"You came. You must be eager to know what happened to your friend" He said with a smile.

"First of all, Z is not my friend. Second, I'm dying to know this secret you have been hiding from me" Aki said.

Mr. Psychic let out a sigh and started explaining, "Didn't I tell you that he stole a map from me. He used the map to go to Mewtwo's lair"

"Where is it actually?" asked Aki.

"In Cerulean City, there is a cave known as the Cerulean Cave. It has been feared and forgotten by many due to the dangerous Pokémon that live there. After Mewtwo escaped from Team Rocket, I told it to hide in the deepest parts of the cave. It waited there for powerful Trainers to challenge it. Until…" Mr. Psychic paused for a moment before continuing, "Z attacked the cave a few days ago. He challenged Mewtwo to a battle and lost."

"Obviously" Aki let out a small chuckle. "But that wasn't the end" Mr. Psychic continued. "He came back one more time with an army"

"An army? Are you kidding me?" said Aki.

"No, young lad. They say that he indeed had an army. They used weapons and traps to try and catch Mewtwo. Mewtwo fought back with all its strength but it was outnumbered. And in the end, Mewtwo fled from the cave"

"Mewtwo fled? A legendary Pokémon… ran away from battle. Now that's something you don't see every day" Aki chuckled once again.

"It was outnumbered hilariously. It was 56 against 1"

"Well, to where did it run away?" Aki asked curiously. "Kalos" Aki's eyes widened at the name. "Kalos? My family is going to go there on a vacation"

"Nothing to fear, young lad. We have news that Mewtwo is hiding in an isolated cave" Mr. Psychic consoled him. He then asked, "I have to ask you something. Do you know anything about Z's army?"

"I don't know much. But he did say something about a team called Team Alpha", said Aki.

"Curious. They must be the ones who captured Articuno"

"Wait, what? Articuno was captured?"

"Yes. A group of unknown people attacked and captured Articuno at the Seafoam Island 2 days ago. We had a meeting in the Saffron Dojo to discuss this matter" There was a moment of silence in the room for a second. Mr. Psychic decided to change the matter. "What are your plans for now, young lad?"

"I heard that the Poison tournament is being held in Celadon city. I plan to enter it" He replied.

"Well that's a pity" Mr. Psychic said. "What? Why?"

"The road to Celadon city from Saffron has been blocked due to construction works of the Underground Path" Mr. Psychic explained.

"Oh crap! That was a shortcut" Aki whined. Mr. Psychic smiled and said, "Don't worry; you can go through Fuchsia city. But, it is a bit lengthy path."

"There's no other way" Aki let out a sigh. "Could you do me a favour?" Mr. Psychic asked. "Sure, what is it?"

"Could you deliver a letter Mr. Fuji in Lavender town for me? It is a very important one" He said.

"Don't you have a Spearow for such jobs?" Aki asked raising an eyebrow. He then smiled and said, "Don't worry; I will do it. I have to go through Lavender anyway."

Mr. Psychic stood up and went to the next room. After a few minutes, he came back with a letter in his hand. He gave Aki the letter and said, "Make sure it is delivered."

"I will. Bye Mr. Psychic" Aki put the letter into his backpack and exchanged bows with Mr. Psychic before leaving the Dojo. He looked back for one last time and waved at Mr. Psychic who was standing at the door. Mr. Psychic waved back at him.

"Hurry up Flame. We have a lot of stuff to do" Aki said to Flame who ran towards him and jumped onto his shoulder. "Shall we?"

"Charmi?" Flame imitated his Trainer's catchphrase.

The two of them then walked towards the gate that leads to Route 8, after which lies the Lavender town, known for its spookiness and stories of ghosts.

Done! This chapter was actually going to be filler one where Aki meets Copycat. But I decided to change it. As I said before, Team Alpha is going to be the main villains in this story. And their goal is to capture all the legendary Pokémon in the world (one of each kind). I know… it's crazy. But there will be a plot-twist in the coming chapters. For now, let's get on to the usual stuff.
