Chapter 12

Our Taiga and Summer Vacation Part I

Meeting Junpei and Riko

"This is your fault, Ahomine," Kagami whispered at Aomine in the dimly lit room they were in right now. Both his hands were tied up behind his back and so were his feet were being tied up. Beside him, Aomine was no better, also being tied up tightly. The room was stuffy and dark, making Kagami felt slightly claustrophobic. The red head sighed as he looked at Aomine. "This is your fault."

"No, it was yours, Bakagami," Aomine growled. No matter how much he liked watching Kagami being tied up; this was not the correct situation. Well, maybe on a white sheet, without clothes, and with rose petals… But not like this.

"How in the world we could get into this situation anyway?" Kagami groaned, clearly annoyed.

"Told you, this was your fault…!"

Five hours ago

"Why are you guys here?!" Kagami sighed when he was lying around Kiyoshi's summer house in Kanagawa, enjoying his summer vacation. He was shocked when he opened the door and saw six different colored heads waiting for him in the front door.

"We're here to visit you, Kagami-kun," Kuroko said and smiled lightly at Kagami.

"Visit me? What for?" Kagami tilted his head in confusion.

"Let's do our summer home works together," Kuroko said lightly as he entered the house. "Sorry for the intrusion."

Kagami let them into the house. Kiyoshi was still busy in the backyard tending to the small garden there when Kagami came to the backyard to inform him the host club members were there.

"Really? We should inform Tanaka about the guests. He would be preparing for lunch right now," Kiyoshi sighed. "Tatsuya will come and join us too tonight… Why are they here, anyway? I thought they would spend holiday abroad."

Kagami shrugged and tilted his head. "They said they wanted to do the summer homework together," Kagami said. "I'll tell Tanaka about the guests." Kagami walked to the kitchen where the head butler of Kiyoshi household was preparing food for lunch. Kagami informed the elderly man about his friends and let him went on preparing the food as Kagami walked back to the front room to join his friends.

They were all seated while Kise was sitting next to the stone pond where he was looking at the koi inside.

"Kagami-kun, are you staying here with Kiyoshi-senpai alone?" Kuroko asked calmly.

"Hm? No… we have Tanaka as the head butler here, and Tatsuya will come tonight to spend his vacation here," Kagami said as he poured cold drink for everybody and cut up a watermelon.

"I see. I thought Kagami-kun will spend his holiday in America," Kuroko let out a small smile on his face as he sipped his ice tea slowly.

"Well, my Dad asked, but I still rather angry with him and I don't want to give him a chance to hold me back in America. I have friends here," Kagami smiled as he looked at the host club members. "I don't think I want to leave Japan ever."

Kuroko felt light hearted when he heard how much Kagami liked being here with them. He smiled at the red head.

"Well, the lunch will be soon if you guys wanted to play on the beach while waiting, I think we still have time," Kagami said as he got up. "The beach is not that far from here."

"Oh! Let's go-ssu~!" Kise smiled brightly as he stood up and joined everyone. "Kiyoshi-senpai will join us too?" the blond haired boy asked curiously.

"No, Teppei is busy with his garden right now. It's for a summer project or something," Kagami nodded as he led everyone to the beautiful beach with white sands and open view towards the blue ocean.

Kise quickly pulled Kuroko to play in the water while Midorima and Akashi decided it was a perfect place to play shogi under the shade of umberella. Murasakibara was too lazy to move, so he just laying beside Akashi, munching on the watermelon he brought from the house as snack.

Which left Aomine and Kagami stood side by side on the empty beach.

"Uhmm… so, how's your holiday so far?" Kagami asked Aomine softly as he took a seat on the sand.

"Boring. I just eat, sleep, and shit," Aomine answered.

"Oh? I thought you would do something exciting," Kagami chuckled. "I would thought you would spend your time with your family, I don't know… maybe a family vacation or something."

"Hm? Well, my parents are too busy to have a vacation right now," Aomine shrugged.

"At least everybody looked really happy right now," Kagami said as he enjoyed the sight of his friends playing on the beach. Kise had managed to ask Kuroko's help to build a sand castle as Midorima and Akashi still playing shogi. "Do you want to walk with me?" Kagami asked Aomine with a bright innocent smile on his face.

Aomine felt his heart skipped a beat and shrugged casually to hide it as he followed Kagami to walk along the shore line. It was hot under the blazing sun of summer, but Aomine was happy to see that Kagami did enjoy this. He kept bending down every once in awhile to pick up a sea shell happily. Aomine couldn't help but tease him.

"Are you doing that on purpose, Bakagami? Bending down and showing off your ass to me?" Aomine chuckled. "You make me want to ravish you~"

Kagami blushed bright red as he smacked Aomine's head angrily. "I-Idiot! Of course not! You're just a pervert!" Kagami pouted as he decided to crouch down to get the sea shell. Aomine sighed in disappointment as he looked at Kagami.

"Oi, Kagami, we're too far from the others now, I think we should go back," said Aomine. He couldn't see the other host club members anymore since they had walked to the most remote part of the beach.

"You can go back first, I don't care!" Kagami was in the foul mood after Aomine's inappropriate comment and kept walking further away.

"Oi, Bakagami! Let's go back now!" Aomine yelled.

"Shut up, Aomine!" Kagami looked really angry. "I thought we have become best friend and you will stop with sexual harassment now," Kagami sighed. "I really thought you are a better person, Aomine, but I think I was wrong…"

Aomine stared at Taiga with confused look. What the hell? He was usually teasing Kagami like this, always in sexual ways and full of innuendos, and he knew Kagami would always get annoyed with his cute blushing face. But this is the first time Kagami looked angry.

Well maybe because he didn't have a door to slam on Aomine's face this time.

"Oi, oi, what got your panties in the twist, Bakagami? It's not like you to suddenly get angry. Are you having your period?" Aomine asked, and it was like adding fuel to the fire as once again Kagami smacked Aomine's head hard enough to leave a bump.

"It hurts, Bakagami!"

"Shut up, Ahomine!"

The two glared at each other they didn't realize some shadowy figure were creeping closer and closer to them. The next thing they know someone had knocked Kagami unconscious, and before he could do anything, someone had also knocked Aomine down. The last thing he saw was some dark figures carrying Kagami away.

Aomine growled at his helplessness to save Kagami.

Then everything turned dark.

"Aka-chin, where is Kaga-chin and Mine-chin?" Murasakibara asked lazily as he lay on the blanket under the umbrella. Akashi and Midorima was still drowned in their game.

"Taiga is walking with Aomine, Atsushi," Akashi said as he moved his pawns to counter Midorima's move.

"But they have been going for quite a long time-ssu, do you think something happen, Akashicchi?" Kise asked as he joined them under the umbrella along with Kuroko.

"Knowing Aomine, he would have done something stupid right now which will make Kagami angry," Midorima said, fixing his glasses.

"Should we check on them?" Kise asked. He was a bit worried and there was a nagging feeling in his heart.

"Let's go, then," Akashi finished their game by defeating Midorima before he let the green haired male to clean up after the board (Midorima said it was his lucky item today, but apparently, even lucky item couldn't defeat Akashi). They walked along the path Kagami and Aomine had taken.

"Aka-chin, I'm hungry~" Murasakibara whined. "I want Kaga-chin home cooking," the purple haired giant pouted.

"Patient, Atsushi. It seems like Kagami and Aomine really walking further than we thought…" Akashi said as they followed the two foot prints on the pristine white sandy beach.

"What if… what if Aominecchi took Kagamicchi to some place remote and do unspeakable things to Kagamicchi?!" Kise asked in horror.

"It's impossible, Kise-kun. Even if Aomine-kun is a perverted ganguro, he would never do anything to hurt Kagami-kun. None of us can," Kuroko said calmly as he kept looking down on the footprints. "Why are there much more foot prints all of sudden?" Kuroko asked as some other footprints got mixed with Kagami's and Aomine.

They looked around the sand and stopped when Midorima saw something shiny, half buried on the sand. He bent down and picked it up. It was a silver ring, attached to a chain and somehow looked very familiar.

"Isn't this Kagami's?" Midorima asked as he showed it to his friends.

"It is-ssu~!" Kise nodded quickly.

"Where did you find it, Shintarou?" Akashi asked. Midorima showed him the spot.

"Kagami-kun never took off the ring, even when he was taking a shower," Kuroko said. "It is really precious to him."

"How do you know that-ssu?" Kise asked.

"Because he kept wearing them all the time," answered Kuroko.

"No, but how do you know he never took the ring off when he was taking a shower?"

Kuroko looked at Kise for awhile before turning to Akashi, ignoring the blond's question.

"Akashi-kun, do you think Kagami-kun and Aomine-kun…?" Kuroko didn't finish his sentence, but Akashi nodded.

"It seems like; both of them had been kidnapped."

They ran back to Kiyoshi's house quickly to inform the older male about the disappearance of Aomine and Kagami. Kiyoshi quickly stopped whatever he was doing and grabbed his phone and gave it to Midorima.

"Call the police, I will call for reinforcement. The kidnappers might call soon for ransom," Kiyoshi said quickly.

Midorima did as he said while Akashi was coordinating with his family bodyguard to start the search along the shoreline to find more clues to where Kagami and Aomine were taken. Everyone tried to help as much as they could before the police came and they waited for the call from the kidnappers.

Not long after, the call came and Kiyoshi picked it up.

"We have your friends here. We demand you to pay ten billion yen for both of them, or else they will die. We don't care if you call the police. Prepare the money in five hours; we will call for the meeting place."

The line was cut before the police could trace the call and pin point the location.

Kiyoshi had explained the situation to Kagami's father and Aomine's father as both of them was flying to Japan as quickly as possible. Kagami's father said he would prepare the money for ransom and sent someone to bring it to Kiyoshi's house in Kanagawa in thirty minutes. The man was worried about the well being of his son.

"Can't you give us the location for Taiga and Daiki?" Akashi asked the leading detective.

"Nothing we can do. They covered their trace well, and we couldn't pin point the location. My men were doing his hardest. Did your friends bring cell phones with them? We can trace it instead," the detective said.

"No. Shintarou had tried that, but their phones were turned off," Akashi said. "But you can try it if you want."

Kiyoshi sighed as he waited; his head was full of Kagami and worried about the well being of his childhood friend and self-proclaimed fiancé. He didn't realize the front door was opened and the familiar voice greeted his ear.

"Why there are so many people here, Teppei?" the voice asked.

Kiyoshi looked up in surprised and smiled. "You guys-!"

"Do you know how long we've been here…?" Kagami asked Aomine quietly. His voice sounded weaker than usual, and Aomine could feel Kagami was leaning heavily on him.

"I'm not sure. It was too dark. Are you okay, Kagami?" Aomine asked, feeling a bit worried about his friend. "Hey! Someone bring us some food and water right now!" Aomine yelled at the kidnappers.

"Huh?! Do you fucking think this is a five stars hotel, damn brats?!" the kidnappers growled angrily, glaring at Aomine. "Fucking rich kids, they think everything will come to them in silver platter when they ask for it."

"Fuck you, bastard! Give us some water!" Aomine was worried about Kagami. The red head temperature was a bit high, and his body felt limp against Aomine's. Kagami wasn't drinking enough water before, he might be dehydrated.

"Shut up, brat!" one of the kidnappers punch Aomine's cheek hard, which made Kagami shouted in worry.

"Aomine!" Kagami quickly checked over Aomine to make sure the blue haired boy was okay. He glared sharply at the kidnappers. How dare they hurt Aomine. "Aomine, are you okay? Please tell me you're okay…" Kagami whispered softly.

"I'm okay, Idiot," Aomine sat straight. Kagami could see Aomine's lips were split slightly and the blood ran slowly from the wound.

"You're bleeding…" Kagami said.

"I'm fine. Just a small wound," Aomine said. "Are you okay? You don't look too well, Kagami," Aomine said as he checked on Kagami.

"I'm okay," Kagami nodded and smiled to reassure Aomine that he was fine. "I'm really sorry, Aomine. I should've listened to you."

"Huh…? Yeah, well, not your fault. You were upset," Aomine sighed. "We have to find a way to get out of here."

Kagami nodded, but the dimly lit room made it harder for him to recognize shaped except for Aomine beside him. "They're tied me too tight and the knot are strong."

"Do you have something we can use to cut off the rope?" Aomine asked.

Kagami shook his head and looked around the room to find anything. But nothing can be used since the room looked bare of any furniture.

"Are we stuck here until someone came with the ransom money?" Kagami asked quietly. "Or maybe someone will save us?"

Aomine sighed as he looked at the kidnapper had left the room to stand guard on the door. "Don't worry, we'll be fine," Aomine said quietly.

Kagami sighed and laid his head on Aomine's shoulder tiredly. Aomine made sure that the red head was comfortable as he could in his bindings. "Someone will save us, Kagami. These people made a mistake kidnapping the son of the strongest man on earth. I don't think your father could stand still hearing his beloved son being kidnapped," Aomine said to comfort Kagami.

"So will your parents, Aomine," Kagami smiled slightly.

"Well, we can't just sit here like idiots. Maybe I should yell for help," Aomine said.

"Don't. They will hurt you. They hit you just because you asked for some water," Kagami said worriedly.

"Well, it's worth to try," Aomine said. "HELP! HELP US HERE!" Aomine yelled on top of his lungs which quickly made the kidnappers burst into the room angrily.

"You again, little fuck!" one of them said.

He stepped forward and punched Aomine again, harder than before and landed a hard kick on Aomine's stomach, making the boy curled in pain.

"No! Stop!" Kagami threw himself over Aomine to protect him. He closed his eyes as he felt the punches and kicks landed on his body. He gritted his teeth to hold back the pain that started to spread across his body.

"Damn brats!" they growled and left Kagami alone with Aomine in the room again.

Kagami was panting softly as he pushed himself up to look over Aomine with worried eyes. "Aomine… Aomine are you okay?" he asked worriedly. "Aomine, please answer me…"

"I'm fine," Aomine coughed violently as he pushed himself up from the ground. "Did they hurt you?"

"Worried about yourself, Ahomine! They punched and kicked you really hard!" Kagami sighed. "You really are an idiot, Ahomine! I told you don't shout…"

"Well, we have to try something to find the way out of here," Aomine sighed. "Wherever here is."

"Shut up now," Kagami said as he looked up at Aomine. "Someone will save us…"

Aomine nodded as they waited.

He wasn't sure how long he had been asleep, but when he woke up he heard quite a commotion outside the room. Aomine quickly nudged Kagami awake as they looked at the door when they could hear a loud bang and noises.

"What happened?" Kagami whispered to Aomine.

"No idea. Maybe someone that will help us?" Aomine whispered back as he looked intently at the door, scooting slowly in front of Kagami to protect the red head for anything that might come through.

The door burst opened as one of the kidnappers stood there. But before the man could step into the room, a loud thud could be heard and the man fell down on his face to the ground. It took Aomine awhile to realize what happened as he saw a small figure stood in the doorway, holding a baseball bat in their hand.

"There you are, Kagami-kun! Well, it's rather hard to find you but we managed." Aomine realized that the voice sounded like a girl, and he was right, when a girl with short brown hair stepped into the room and smiled.

Kagami blinked in disbelief as he looked up at the figure in front of him. "R-Riko…? Why…?"

"We've come to save you, Kagami-kun, Aomine-kun!" the girl smiled happily.

"Riko? What took you so long?!" Another voice came closer as a male with short black hair and glasses came to join the girl.

"Hyuuga-kun, I found them," the brunette smiled and quickly walked in to untie Kagami and Aomine. "What are you two doing, getting all beat up like this?" she sighed. "Well, you can tell us later. We have to get out now before Hyuuga-kun blowing up this place!"

The brunette grabbed their hands and pulled them away quickly out of the place, with the man called Hyuuga leading their way. Aomine and Kagami was still too shock to process everything that happened since it was so fast for their tired brains. She managed to pull them to some distance before they watched the building blown up and burnt in fire.

Kagami and Aomine were panting as they tried to control their breaths. Kagami looked up at the brunette and glasses guy who were stood there looking proud of their job before Hyuuga turned and glared angrily at Kagami.

"D'AHO! How can you got yourself into trouble just when we got back, you moron?!" the glasses male shouted angrily and smacked Kagami's head.

"Really Kagami-kun, how much trouble you will give us now?" the brunette smiled sweetly, but both boys could feel the dangerous aura seeping through her smile.

Kagami quickly apologized and explained the situation as Aomine watched both strangers. Kagami seemed to know them well from what Aomine could see when the two scolded the red head. Aomine cleared his throat loudly which made Kagami turned to him.

"Who are they?" Aomine asked as he nodded towards the brunette and the glasses guy.

Kagami sighed. "Well, these are Aida Riko and Hyuuga Junpei, head securities of Kagami family," Kagami introduced both of them.

"Nice to meet you, Aomine-kun," Aida Riko shook his hand. "Now we should go back to Teppei's house. I want to take a long shower."
