SieboldxX (CalmWatersshipping)

A/N: I didn't know who to choose between Shauna or Siebold, but since this is a BL fic I decided to go with the latter.

And since he's the only suitable guy I ship with the MC.

Who would have thought that the once powerful King of Kalos had a child?

And that line continued until the present times and the descendant married a Rhyhorn Racer and bore a son.

Who would have thought that this boy was destined to be a champion and save us from the doomsday?

And lastly, who would have thought that he, a mere commoner, would become one of the missing links to the mystery of Kalos region?

No one has ever foreseen this. Only fate and destiny knew of such for they are the ones who holds the key to the future.

The wheezing sound of the kettle brought me back from my thoughts. Turning it off, I pour its content in a teapot filled with tea herbs. I then lay the teapot on a tray along with a cup and a piece of cake.

The bell rings, signaling it is time to deliver the tea to my master, who should be done by now battling a trainer aspiring to be the next champion.

Carrying the tray, I leave the room and head straight to the courtyard where most of his battles take place. I pass by a window, the sun is shining and not a cloud is seen in the sky, but I have a feeling it will change later on.

Exiting the palace, I head to the garden table and lay down the contents of the tray. I make sure everything is perfect for he deserves only perfection. When everything is set, I turn to the finishing battle in front of me and watch the young men give it all out.

But destiny has already set on who shall come out victorious.

"Aromatisse, finish it with Moonblast!"

The Pangorro fell down within seconds, and the battle is over. A little while later, the defeated trainer had left, and my master approaches the table, not at all tired from their fight.

"Well done, master Xavier." I say.

He looks at me and smiles. "I told you, Siebold, just call me X."

"Forgive me master, but I believe only your friends may call you that."

He grins at me. "Aren't you my friend?"

"A friend who is also your loyal servant."

"Then I command you to call me X."

I smile. "As you wish, X."

As he sits down, I pour some tea on the cup and offer it to him. He gladly takes it and enjoys its content.

After a few months of becoming a champion he left without a trace. There were rumors that he was seen leaving with a tall man and a Flogres, and months later he returned with riches that anyone could ever desire.

It is said that the man he was seen with is the well-known king in Kalos history and they searched for the hidden treasure of the kingdom. If so, there is no doubt on how he bought Parfum palace from the previous owner, who was also under bankruptcy at that time. He brought it back to its full glory, and he became known as…

the lost prince of the Kalos region.

Along with his mother, they moved here and made it a place where everyone is welcome, unlike the other one who charged the visitors with an entrance fee.

Preposterous.

"Your tea is excellent as always, Siebold." He takes another sip from the cup.

"And I always appreciate your comment."

He sets the cup on the saucer and silently stared at his reflection from the tea, lost again in his thoughts, reminiscing on a certain pokemon.

I believe his absence has another reason to it.

Shortly after the battle with Lysandre, there was no escape for them in that crumbling place. In order to save him and his friends, his precious friend, Delphox sacrificed itself to teleport them to safety. The only thing the Pokemon left its master was an egg, which is now a Braixen.

Like they always say, everything has its price.

"You have an appointment with Professor Sycamore at five. I'm guessing we shall have him for dinner?" I ask, just to break the cold air around us.

"…A storms brewing."

I look up and the once clear, blue sky changed into a dark, gloomy one. Just like I predicted a while ago.

When he returned, I was surprised to be presented with a Black Writ of Challenge. I accepted it since it's rare for me to battle someone like him, then again, he was unique.

The way he and his pokemon battle is an art in form of perfection.

It is fierce but elegant, raw but gentle.

Like the calm waters beneath the crashing waves.

Of course, even though I'd enjoyed it, it lasted long for me to be defeated. During that battle, as I looked at him, I knew that the boy who defeated me in the Elite four had changed drastically and became someone who could lead people without question.

And I followed him on my own accord.

"How many years has it been, Siebold?"

"Two and a half."

Two and a half years since the death of a friend.

"I see…" He is still gazing at his tea, a small smile of sadness on his lips.

I hear a low thunder in the sky, and the first drop of rain drips on his tea…or was it?

Seconds later, our surroundings is filled with rain, and we were soaking under it. The other servants left us for they know that the master must be left alone, with only I at his side.

I look at the dark sky and see a Talonflame flying with its trainer on its back. His idiocy will be the death of them.

My eyes glance at the hedges afar. Inside that maze there lays the tombstone of his pokemon, but not once has he visited it.

"She's in a good place now, X."

"I know..."

"Every living thing has its time in this world."

"I just can't believe..."

I put a hand on his shoulder. "Treasure the ones that are still with you." As I take my hand, his hand grab my sleeve, gripping it tightly, never letting it go.

"Then stay…just stay, please. Just stay…" He doesn't look at me, but I can see tears falling from his eyes.

"I'm here."

Don't cry.

"Don't leave me…" he whispers, loosening his grip on me, but I quietly urged him to hold on.

"I won't…"

My King.

A/N: It's complete, for now...Let's hope for a Gen. 7!
