Thoughts

The clashing of blades and fists had been going on for far too long now. The Konoha shinobi were starting to get tired while their enemies seemed to be completely unfazed by their battle.

There must be something we can do. Kakashi thought as he distanced himself to try and devise a strategy.

"Give up, Kakashi, no one can help you now!" Hiroaki said with a maniacal voice as he used Mamoru to launch another relentless assault upon his opponent.

What kind of technique is this? He somehow managed to resuscitate his fallen comrade. However... He does not seem to be able to speak anymore. And as far as I can tell he no longer feels any pain.

"Kakashi!... I... Hope... You have... Some sort of... Plan right now." Sakura said between dodging her opponents attacks.

"I'm working on it." There must be some sort of weak point to this jutsu, just have to pay more attention.

Surrounding Forests in the border of the Land of Rivers

"Sasuke... SASUKE!"

"What?!"

"We need to take a break! We've been running non-stop since last night, Hinata-chan is getting tired!" Sasuke gave a quick glance to the others following behind him, and sure enough Hinata was trying to keep her breathing stable as she struggled to keep up the pace. But he ignored it and kept on running, if anything he started to go even faster.

"TEME! I said go slower not break the fucking sound barrier!" Naruto started to yell frantically. But he was cut mid sentence as a loud explosion stopped them in their tracks, Hinata dropped to her knees to catch her breath while the rest of them were leaning on the object closest to them.

"What was that?" Gaara asked calmly trying to hide his tiredness.

"Whatever it was I'm sure as hell Kakashi and Sakura can't be too far away." Naruto exclaimed.

"We... Have... To... Hurry... They... Could... Be... In... Danger..." Hinata managed to say between pants.

"We'll go see what's up, you stay here and catch your breath." Naruto said sternly.

"But-"

"If you were to face any enemy at your current state you wold be nothing but a hindrance to us. You would get us all killed." Sasuke said brashly. But it was the truth, and it was enough to convince Hinata to stay.

"Oh... Y-yeah. I-I guess you're right." She said quietly while she lowered her head. Then she felt a hand on her shoulder as Naruto's calm voice reached her ears.

"Hey, don't be so sad. It'll be only for a minute, it's for the best." When she looked up he gave her a comforting smile that made her blush but she still smiled back. Naruto then cleared his throat as he stood up and dropped the smile from his face.

"Gaara!" He said without turning to look at him. Gaara just nodded before forming a hand seal.

"Dai san no me!*" He raised one of his hands and covered his right eye. Then, out of the sand that poured out of his gourd, a giant eyeball was formed. It floated high up in the air and started to quickly look around in every direction. Until-

"There, about five kilometers northeast of here." Gaara said as he removed his hand from his eye, dissipating the eye. Naruto nodded as he turned towards the given directions.

"Let's go!" The three Jinchuriki were about to take off when two figures landed in front of them.

"Stop right there!" One of the shinobi said. He had one hand on the hilt of his katana and was wearing a mouse mask, his companion was wearing one resembling a raven. "Uzumaki Naruto, Uchiha Sasuke, Sabaku no Gaara, we have orders to take you all under custody!"

Secret Hideout in the Outskirts of the Land of Air

Hold on a minute, let's try that again. Kakashi thought as he jumped back and retrieved some shuriken from his weapon pouch. He threw some of them at Mamoru and some at Hiroaki. The former just stood there and received the attack while Hiroaki himself did jump out of the way. When he landed Mamoru started to remove the shuriken from his body.

Bingo! "Sakura! I have a plan!"

"About fucking time!" She said while smashing down on one of the puppets, missing just by a mere inch.

"Al right here is what we'll do. First- Gahh!" Kakashi was stopped as one of Mamoru's attacks landed on the right side of his torso. He grasped the wound tightly with his left hand, but blood was still drenching his clothes.

"Kakashi!" Sakura yelled as she jumped to his side. She reached forward to heal the wound but a kunai that zoomed just in front of her face made her jump back.

"Tsk, tsk. Not that would be cheating, now wouldn't it?" Hiroaki said while he slowly approached them, dragging his sickle as it scraped the ground with a screeching noise.

Surrounding Forests in the border of the Land of Rivers

"Who the hell are you?" Naruto asked annoyed by the interruption.

"Stand down, and no one will be hurt." The shinobi said as he unsheathed his sword.

"Hnn. We don't have time for this." Sasuke said as he also unsheathed his own katana.

"No killing, Sasuke." Naruto said sternly as he looked at the sword in his hand. However Sasuke only let out a small scoff as he lunged forward towards his enemy. Naruto and Gaara tried to jump over the fighting but were intercepted by the Anbu's companion, who kicked Naruto back down to the ground and threw some shuriken at Gaara.

"Dammit, we need to get past these guys quickly." Naruto said as he glanced over their two opponents. He saw that the man was fighting vigorously against Sasuke, trading blow after blow and effectively managing to land a couple, also receiving some himself. But when he looked at the woman her head was turned towards something other than Gaara or himself. When he followed her gaze he felt his stomach drop to the ground.

"Hinata!" He shouted as he shuffled to his feet to try and reach her, but he was too slow, as the other shinobi already had a kunai pressed against her neck.

"Surrender, or the girl dies!" He heard her say, he took a step towards them but stopped when he heard Hinata scream in pain. A small trickle of blood ran from the sharp blade down her neck, staining her pearly white skin.

"She is the heiress of Konohagakure's Hyuuga clan, kill her and you are both dead meat!" Naruto said to try and save her, but all he got was a mocking laugh from the other shinobi that was fighting Sasuke. He pushed the Jinchuriki back with a kick and turned to face Naruto.

"Oh we won't kill her. But everyone will be devastated to find out that the fiendish Jinchuriki of the Kyuubi was heartless enough to murder her after he kidnapped her from her teammates. Such a tragic end for her." The man said while he laughed again. Naruto clenched his fists as the anger swelling up inside him grew bigger and bigger.

"You bastards!"

"Now, for the last time, stand down!"

"Enough of this!" Sasuke said in frustration as he charged towards them with his chidori running through his sword.

"Sasuke, wait!"

Secret Hideout in the Outskirts of the Land of Air

Sakura took out a kunai from her weapon pouch and stepped in front of Kakashi with a defiant look towards their approaching enemy.

"You take another step, and I'll kill you." She said to Hiroaki. He stopped moving and raised his scythe over his head. He then stabbed himself again on the palm of his hand. Dammit, not this again. When he removed the scythe Mamoru's body dropped to the ground like a rag doll.

So it turns out that his jutsu is limited to controlling one body at a time. Kakashi thought as he was staring at the now motionless body of Mamoru. Hiroaki swung his scythe and released it towards Sakura and Kakashi. The former raised her kunai to try and deflect it. As it got closer and closer Sakura closed her eyes to braise herself for the impact.

CLANK!

The scythe was sent flying all the way to the other side of the field, impaling itself on the ground. Sakura slowly opened her eyes and saw three figures standing in front of her, the one of the left was holding another person in his back, the middle one was wielding a sword and the last was surrounded by sand.

Oh shit! She thought.

"Step aside brats! This does not concern you! Move or die!" Amaya exclaimed in annoyance.

"Don't be so rash, Amaya. These are no ordinary shinobi, all of the are jinchuriki, and the one in the middle is also an uchiha." Hiroaki said with a look of caution in his face.

"So he is the other one?" Amaya said, shocking Sasuke.

"What do you mean 'the ther one'?"

"Poor boy, he doesn't even know his own family." Amaya responded with a mischievous grin.

"What are you talking about? My whole clan was killed years ago, no one is left but me!"

"Sorry to break it to you kid, but you are not so special!"

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"If you survive, I'll tell you." She said with a cocky smile before yanking her hands, making her puppets dash towards them. Sasuke impaled his sword on the ground and then quickly performed some hand seals.

"Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu!" He took a long breath before spewing out a massive stream of flames. Amaya moved the puppets out of their path before she herself jumped away.

"Damn, that was close." She said while staring at the spot she had been only seconds ago, which was now completely burned out.

"Senpō: Rasenshuriken!" Amaya had barely any time to react before Naruto slammed down on her the massive ball of chakra that obliterated everything it touched, causing a large explosion which shattered one of the puppets.

"My baby, you'll pay for that!" She said with clenched teeth as she stared at the remains of her puppet.

"Sabaku Kyū*!" This time sand started to seep out of the ground beneath her feet, and it started to crawl up her leg, slowly enveloping her whole body but the head.

"Help me, Hiroaki!" She yelled in fear.

"I warned you Ayame, don't underestimate them." Hiroaki said calmly as he stood without moving looking how his teammate was slowly being swallowed by the sand.

"Sabaku Sōsō!" Gaara said as he clenched his raised hand. Amaya's last words were loud screams of pain as the sand now completely enveloped her, before crushing her whole body, instantly killing her.

"You, speak. Who is the other Uchiha!" Sasuke said menacingly while holding his sowrd against Hiroaki's neck.

"Why, my dear Jinchuriki, he is Uchiha Itachi. Your older brother."
