Musubi: Hey everyone. It's me, Musubi and I am here on Takamagahara2012's behalf to show you this special chapter of Sekirei EX II. A friend of his who reviewed his first EX story: Ashikabi from the Soul Society suggested having my Shinikabi, Seishin save our special guest. *Turns to the door* Come on in.
*A girl with light brown hair and wearing clothes that reveal her cleavage; and with chains binding them walked into the room with Musubi. She turned her sleepy-eyed sight to the camera; her crimson sekirei mark was shown through her messy hair.
Musubi: That's right! This chapter going to be about Akitsu; a sekirei that can't be emerged is about to have her life changed for the better. I hope you like this; you know who you are. This chapter is for you. Roll the chapter!
Sekirei EX II
Chapter 9: Akitsu
(Somber music - Bleach OST: Morning of Rememberance)
Dark clouds levitated over the busy city of Shinto Teiho; rain began pouring down, lightning stretch across the dark skies and thunder echoing loudly over the populated capital. Seishin was originally planning to return to Maison Izumo as he was returning there; despite him being wet from the heavy rain, but then he remembered the call with Kisuke.
(Flashback)
"Seishin?" Urahara said.
"Kisuke, what's up?" Seishin asked.
"I think you need to come to my shop, tonight." Kisuke replied. "I want to talk to you; it's very important.
(Flashback ended)
"I wonder what it could be?" Seishin said to himself. " I hope it's something good, but judging by the sound of Kisuke's voice, I have a feeling it's bad news."
Seishin's inner hollow appeared in astral form, but is feeling rather worn out and paler than what he already was.
"Hollow, are you ok?" He thought."You're looking paler than than your skin color."
"Don't... worry about me." His hollow replied. "I'm just a little under the weather is all."
"Oh, ok." Seishin thought until he felt a heavy strain in his body due to his spiritual pressure being eaten by the excess unstable hollow energy. Seishin cringed as he fell from the skies to the alleyways; headfirst further from the shopping district.
"Seishin, are you alright?" His hollow asked worrily.
"My powers... it's getting worse by the minute." Seishin thought as he struggled to get back up on his feet. "I must hurry back to Maison Izumo to have Matsu help me out a bit."
"Ok, but please hurry." Seishin's hollow replied as Seishin quickly left used flashstep en route to Maison Izumo.

Speaning of Matsu, she along with Musubi, Kusano and Tsukiumi are all in her room until they got the message Seishin forwarded.
"So that the way he's gonna do things, huh." Matsu said. "He's speeding up our innevitable demise. We sekireis have to fight each other eventually until the loser is terminated or cease functioning. Musubi caused that to two sekireis: One time when Seishin and Musubi saved Kusano... and the other was during the night Seishin saved Kagari."
"But to say that just because some ashikabis and sekireis that haven't won anything doesn't mean that they have to be forcibly seperated." Musubi said. "There's no way I will stand for that!"
"That is why thou are far too soft!" Tsukiumi said. "The only purpose for sekireis if to do battle. The sekireis that refuse to fight are useless in the Sekirei Plan."
"But..." Musubi tried to reason with her, but Matsu interrupted her.
"As hard to believe this, Musubi, but Tsukiumi's right." Matsu said. "There's nothing we could do. It's a foregone gone conclusion, either way. By its very nature, the sekirei plan is like a tournament. If any player stops, then the tournament is on hold and can't move forward."
"This is what Big Brother doesn't want to see it happen." Kusano said with tears in her eyes. Musubi, Tsukiumi and Matsu all got Ku's attention. "I felt the pain in his heart when he saw the times we were out in battle. No matter how much he smiled, how much he laughed, or how much he says he's alright, he's crying on the inside. Crying for all the sekireis that are forced to fight and to those that were defeated."
"Kusano..." Tsukiumi said as she remembered the times he began his life as an ashikabi. The first time when he saved her from Seo's sekirei. Then on the bridge when Seishin fought against Benitsubasa and Haihane; and the time she saw him shedding a tear for a fallen sekirei.
"I don't care about the Sekirei Plan!" Kusano continued. "All I care is that I want to see us live in peace and the only person who could do that is Big Brother! If he made that promise, he'll keep it until the very end."
Musubi wrapped her arms around Kusano and gave her a hug; Tsukiumi sighed and Matsu remained quiet. Elsewhere, Mikogami and his sekirei are in the limo en route home through the heavy rain.
"With these rules coming into effect, that means the sekireis that are hiding will be forced to show themselves." Mutsu said. "Wise move, Minaka."
"Who cares, we have the top count in terms of wins" Mikogami said. "It's not our problem."
"Haven't you considered the possibity of desperate people might come and attack us?"Mutsu asked.
"But I always love a good challenge when I see one, don't ya Mutsu?"Mikogami said with a chuckle. Mutsu didn't say another word as they continued enjoying the ride.
A short while later, Hayato and Mutsu arrived at his house. Hayato's house was a mansion with the colors matching his clothes: Gold and white. The entry gates were solid gold with his name in romaji, the driveway from the mansion to the entry gates were rather short, and the entrance to the mansion is like that of a luxury hotel. When Hayato was coming out of the limo; heading in the house, many of his other sekireis were happy to see him returned from his outing.
"Welcome back, Master Mikogami!" Said one sekirei.
"Welcome back, sir." Said another and many others
"Now, now everyone. There's plenty of me to go around." Hayato said to them; just then three other sekireis appeared.
One who wore a kimono with a ribbon tied on the back of her hair; goes by the name Himeko: #16. Another look exactly like the terminated sekirei, #38: Mitsuha but was wearing a western style black dress with a yellow stripe down the goes by the name, Mitsuki: #39. Lastly the third sekirei was a young woman with grey hair and wears an elegant while revealing her endowed cleavage and belly button. Her name is Taki: #65.
"Hey Taki, have you seen Akitsu?" He asked.
"I last remembered seeing her watching the rain through the window in the den room." She replied.
"Still?" He wondered. "I wondered what's going on in her mind at the moment."
"This is not like herself." Mutsu said and then signed. "We should check up on her."
"This has been the fourth or fifth time, she's been there!" Mitsuki said while she placed her hands on her hips and cocked her hips slightly to the side. "Frankly, I'm getting tired of all of this!"
"I'm sure she's thinking of something positive." Himeko said.. "Stop worrying on her much."
"But still..." Mitsuki complained.
Akitsu remembered the time she met Seishin in her shared dream and the very words he said that showed her smile for the first time; even if it's a small one.
"...I'll do what I can to make you no longer be a scrapped number. I know someone who could possibly help you make it happen. I will protect you with my life..." were the very words Seishin said that she remembered. After another minute of staring out at the rainy sky, she turned to Hayato and his sekirei.
"Master Hayato..." She said his name. "It's been a good time being your adoptive sekirei, but now... I must move on.
"What do you mean?" Hayato asked with a shocked reaction. "Are you leaving us?"
"Yes, I must leave." She replied.
"I don't want you to leave!" Hayato whined. "You're my sekirei; I don't want you to leave!"
Akitsu didn't say another word but she continued to look at Hayato and his sekirei with the determination flowing through her sleepy expression. Mutsu then stood in front of her.
"Akitsu, please reconsider." Mutsu said. "Hayato cares about you."
"That may be true, but..." Akitsu replied. "Somehow, I am able to see my destined one, despite me as a scrapped number. I must go to him. As much as you want me in your life with the other sekrieis you have, my mind's already made up."
Hayato was shocked at her reply. Deep in his mind, he thought to himself: "How was she, a scrapped number able to find her ashikabi. Unable to endure this betrayal, he ordered his sekireis to trap Akitsu. Each of his sekireis trapped her by forming a circle around her and then Mitsuki used her string to contain her. Hayato then walked towards her.
"Akitsu, I can't let you leave.." Hayato said. "Like I said before, you're my sekirei. You're a rare and special one, and there won't be another one like you around."
"I know you want me around, Hayato, but like I said... My mind's already made up." Just then, thick strands of string binded Akitsu. She then looked back up to see Hayato slowly approach her with a serious look on his face.
"Very well; if you want me to be the bad guy, then I'll be the bad guy." Hayato said to her. "Akitsu, either stay with me or you'll leave this place in pieces." Akitsu heard the threat Hayato said, but she didn't care.
"Better catch me if you can!" Akitsu breaks free and summoned a wave of Ice Needles as a distraction while she makes her escape. She ran to the window and broke through it using her ice powers and fled through the city.
"Mutsu!" Hayato called him. "You and the others stop her, now! Don't let her escape!"

Meanwhile, Seishin was hurrying to Maison Izumo despite his soul energy balance growing into a more dangerous level of unstability.
"Damn it!" Seishin thought as he looked at his combat pass as it was cracked. "My power's being eaten up quicker than before. I don't know how much time is there left until it's all gone!"
As Seishin jumped off a seven story building, felt a painful pulse in his body; his pupils shrank in responce to the pain as he fell head first to the ground. He struggled to get back up so he can rush to Maison Izumo, but in the end he passed out.
Elsewhere, Matsu along with Musubi, Kusano and Tsukiumi just heard the alarm going off on her computer and then it brought up a picture of Seishin unconscious with his spiritual pressure nearing his limit. The three girls were then surprised at what happened.
"Seishin!" Musubi and Tsukiumi cried as they sat next to Matsu to see him unconscious.
"Big brother, oh no!" Kusano cried as tears were forming in her eyes.
"Matsu, where is Seishin found at?" Tsukiumi asked her.
"Just a second..." Matsu replied as she began doing her thing on the computer until she pinpointed his location. "He's located near Teiho Tower; seveneen meters from the building."
"That settles it." Tsukiumi said. "Let us go, Musubi!"
"Right!" Musubi replied as she got up and follows her.
"I'm coming too!" Kusano said.
"Sorry, Ku." Musubi said to her. "You have to wait here with Matsu for the moment. We'll be back, I promise."
As Musubi left Matsu's room, Tsukiumi was about to leave as well. But she stopped to talk with Kusano.
"Kusano..." Tsukiumi said. "I hast thought over what thou said, and thou art right. I know Seishin will do what he can to change this. I believe in him. For the time being, we must stay strong."
"Oh, ok." Kusano said to her.
"That a girl." Tsukiumi replied with a smile. "We'll be back, Ku... With Seishin."
"Take this locator." Matsu said as she handed her the locater. "It tracks Seishin's reiatsu. The closer you are to Seishin, the more it reacts."
"Ok, wish us luck, Matsu." Tsukiumi replied as she and Musubi left to find Seishin.
At the same time, Kisuke arrived to Maison Izumo by train and walked down the busy streets, en route to Maison Izumo. He carried an umbrella that matches his white and green striped bucket hat as the heavy rain falls down to the crowded city.
"It's been a while since I called Seishin."Kisuke thought. "I hope our fire breathing dragon is doing well." Just as Kisuke was about to arrive to a nearby shopping district, he sensed Seishin's reiatsu fading more and more. "Oh no. Seishin needs help! I have to help him." Kisuke ran through the alleyways and then used flashstep to speed his search.
Meanwhile, Akitsu had left the Souther part of the Capital and passing by Teiho Tower, free from the Hayato's grasp. Just then, she turned to see Mutsu and the others pursuing her. She scoffed as she went a little faster.
Mutsu along with Mitsuki, Taki, Himeko and a bunch more sekireis left the mansion to pursue Akitsu. Through the town, Akitsu held her own from the opposing sekireis pursuing her. Although she took some damage from some of the combined attacks. Just then, she landed on a building halfway to MBI's Teiho Tower. Mutsu and Hayato's other sekireis arrived and surrounded her, armed and ready to attack when she moves.

"Akitsu, please don't do this." Himeko pleaded. "Please... give up.
Akitsu didn't say a word as she glared at them.
"We can't afford to lose another one of Hayato's." Taki said with her arms crossed. At the same time Mutsu stepped forward.
"Akitsu, please surrender, other wise we will put you down for good." Mutsu said to her calmly with his hand on his hip. "I don't want to fight against one who belongs to Hayato, even if he is stubborn."
"Mutsu, you of all sekireis should understand that I cannot." Akitsu replied. "My mind's made up and I am not turning back now."
"You got be kidding me!" Mitsuki rebuked. "Akitsu, you better come back ot else I will-
Mutsu held his hand up to Mitsuki to interupt her before things got harsh.
"I'm sorry, Akitsu..." Mutsu sighed and slowly drew his sword. "Since you won't return with us, we'll have to end you here."
Akitsu gritted her teeth as she prepares herself for what will happen. Meanwhile Seishin; though he's unconscious, he foreseen a few things that happened. The first one was the two sekireis quickly heading to him
"T-Tsukiumi... Musubi..." Seishin thought when he saw the sekireis running through the heavy rain.
"Hang in there, Seishin! Thy real wife is coming for thee!" Tsukiumi cried.
"Hang on, Seishin." Musubi cried. "We're on our way!"
The first scene faded and then saw another scene appeared. It was Kisuke and he was dashing through the air searching for him.
"Kisuke..." He continued. " Both of them are heading my way to me."
The scene faded and it shows one last scene. it shows the the one sekirei Seishin spoke in his dream trapped with five other sekrieis advancing towards her. They were on a building very close to where the red haired shinigami taichou is at. With that happening, he immediately woke up.
"That sekirei!" Seishin said. "She's in trouble and she's nearby! I gotta save her." He took a deep breath as he slowly charges the remains of his reiatsu. "Ikou!" Seishin then used his flashstep; rushing to save her.
While Seishin heads to the battlefield, Akitsu struggles to handle against the opposing sekireis. She fought her best against Mutsu and the others but after the injuries she endured from her chase, she grew weakened. She uses her Ice Needles to protect herself but Himeko, Mitsuki and the other sekirei broke through it to injure her. Her clothes were slightly torn and she suffered some damages from the other attacks.
"Damn... I don't know how much longer can I hang on..." Akitsu said to her self. "Someone... Please help me..."
"Now catch her while she's down!" Mitsuki ordered as she and the others charges towards her. Just as they were inches away of reaching her, a familiar voice reached her ears as well as Mutsu and the others.
"Bakudo #63: Sajō Sabaku!" Several yellow energy strands of thick rope trapped all of Hayato's sekireis. Akitsu was surprised that the opposing sekireis are trapped in the energy ropes and then she saw someone land in front of her. A man with long crimson hair, wearing an all black kimono finally appears. As he turned, Akitsu recognizes his face.
"It's you... The man I spoke in my dreams." Akitsu said which surprises Mutsu and the others.
"This is the destined one?" Mutsu wondered until he then recognizes him from before. "I remember you! You were that man who controls that flame powered sword while rescuing Number Six that night."
"I see you met me before." Seishin replied. "You all must Mikogami's sekirei correct and one of them was an ex-member of the first-gen Discipline Squad."
"Yes, I am Sekirei Number Five: Mutsu" He introduced. "The ones beside me are Number 39: Mitsuki, Number65: Taki, and Number 15: Himeko. Now that you know who we are, tell me your name."
"Seishin Samayou... that's my name." Seishin replied as he then picked up Akitsu in a bridal fashion.
"Where do you think you're going with that sekirei?!" Mitsuki exclamed. "She belongs to Hayato Mikogami!"
"Judging on the way she's wounded and you six aren't, I highly doubt she is... or not anymore." Seishin rebuked.
"I finally found you... Seishin..." Akitsu said weakly. "Help me, please..." Akitsu then passed out from the damages she took and the power she used. Seishin turned and walked to the edge of the building until long thick strings were wrapped around his waist, his lower left leg, his arms and his neck. He turned to see Mitsuki trapping him and freeing the others.
"We won't let you escape!" Mitsuki and the others charged at him. Seishin didn't flinch as he eyed the sekireis until Seishin pulled out a sneaky move.
"I don't have time for this! Bakudo #81: Dankū." Seishin said his spell which summoned a large clear wall behind him, but thanks to his hardcore training in the Soul Society, the wall he created can block even physical attacks from opponents. He lightly tossed Akitsu upward only to free himself from the bind he was in by firing a weakened cero at the string. He then caught her once more and then used flashstep the very second after. The spell then wore off a second after Seishin fled.
"That guy's got away with Akitsu." Taki said.
"We need to split up and find him." Himeko included herself.
"Yeah, we do so." Mutsu replied. "We'll split up to cover more ground. Once we find either Akitsu or the man that took her, notify us."
As Mutsu and the others all split up to find Seishin or Akitsu, Seishin; on the other hand, was traveling through the Northern area with Akitsu in his hands. Akitsu woke up only to see Seishin carrying her until the two landed on top of a two story house. He then put Akitsu down as he was catching his breath.
"You saved me." Akitsu said to him while sporting a light blush despite her calm slighly emotionless look. "I am deeply grateful for saving me, Seishin Samayou."
"Y-You're very we-welcome..." Seishin replied as he got back up after catching his breath. "Now that you know my name, what's yours?"
"Since I did say we would meet again, I shall tell you my name. I am Number Seven: Akitsu. I am the Sekirei of Ice and the only one of them all who can't be winged..."
"I'm sorry to hear that Akitsu." Seishin said. "Don't worry, you're in good hands now."
A small smile appeared on her face knowing he meant his word.
"I'm gl-" Just as Akitsu was going to say something she was surprised as she sees Seishin passing out from loss of Spiritual Pressure. She quickly catches him and tries to wake him up.
"I made it in time..." Kisuke arrived in time to see Seishin but sees him passed out. Akitsu glared and attempts to defend him, but Kisuke yielded.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" Akitsu asked bluntly.
"It's ok. I am a friend of Seishin's. I am Kisuke Urahara, owner of the candy shop in Karakura Town and ex-Squad Captain of the Soul Society."
Akitsu calmed down and lowers her guard.
"I remember now..." She replied. "Seishin told me about you. What's wrong with him?"
"Seishin's low on power." He answered which surprised her a bit. "He used a powerful move that costs him his powers. He did it once long ago and then he used it again three months ago."
"Will you help him?" She asked. "Please...?"
"That I shall do;" Kisuke said, "but not here... we need to do it somewhere safe other than Maison Izumo." He used his cane to open a senkaimon in front of them.
"Where are we going?" Akitsu wondered.
"To my candy shop in Karakura Town..." He replied."I'll tell you more along the way. Help me carry Seishin."
"O-okay..." Akitsu said as she and Kisuke carried Seishin into the senkaimon. As they were heading into the senkaimon Mitsuki and Taki spotted her from a 10 feet radius and immediately charges towards them.
"We have you now, Akitsu!" Mitsuki cried which caught both her and Kisuke's attention.
"Leave this one to me, Akitsu..." He said as he let her hold on to Seishin. He walked towards the advancing sekireis while drawing out the sword in his cane. "Now... Awaken, Benihime."
Kisuke's cane turned into the shape of a medium sword with a black decorative wrapped hilt with a pommel shape overlaping it and a crimson tassel dangling from the base of the hilt. The black blade with a silver edge was supported with a three inched U-shaped guard covering the bottom of the blade and the tip of the blade ends with a slanted razor like edge. Mitsuki and Taki saw what he brought out.
"What the heck's he planning?" Mitsuki wondered.
"Hmmm, Chikasumi no Tate." Kisuke said as his zanpaktou generated a hexagon-shaped crimson barrier in front of the blade. Taki then anticipated what's going to happen next.
"Mitsuki get back!" She cried as she pulled her back.
"Kirisaki, Benihime." Kisuke fires a barrage of energy bullets from the shield his zanpaktou made. Each of those blasts made a whistling sound simular to fireworks and they carry an explosion to that of a a large firecracker. From afar, Musubi and Tsukiumi heard them while they searching for Seishin.
"Tsukiumi, do you hear that?" Musubi asked. "It sounds like fireworks going off."
"It's Seishin, he's over there!" She cried. "Let us go; quicken thy pace, Musubi!"
"Right!" Musubi replied as she follors Tsukiumi double time.
Kisuke called off the attack and ran for the senkaimon with Akitsu holding Seishin.
"Let's go while we still have the chance." He said which made Akitsu nod in responce and ran in the senkaimon. "I know Seishin's sekirei will be heading here to look for him."
With Kisuke walking into the senkaimon, the sliding doors close and then fades away into thin air. A few minutes afterwards, Musubi and Tsukiumi arrived to the area, but they couldn't find their ashikabi.
"Damn this!" Tsukiumi cried. "Seishin's not present!"
"Where could he be? Musubi said feeling worried.
"Where art thou, Seishin... please be alright." Tsukiumi said.
"I hope he's alright..." Musubi said while feeling worried.
Meanwhile Seishin was still unconscious from loss of power. However the only thing that was able to wake him up was the voices of Akitsu and Kisuke. Seishin then slowly woke up only to see that he's in Kisuke's lab under his candy shop.
"Kisuke...? Akitsu...? How did I get here?" Seishin wondered.
"You have passed out due to so much power burned, Seishin... I used my last pill to help restore some of your strength." Kisuke replied while he was working on a project on the computer, only to stop and turn to him. "I'm impressed you did all of that, only to save this beautiful sekirei."
Despite Akitsu's calm expression; she made a light blush on her face. Then she turned to Seishin.
"Seishin... Is there any way to fix me?" Akitsu wondered which made Seishin remember what he said when he saw her in his dream.
(Flashback)
"I'm terribly sorry for the pain you felt..." Seishin placed his hand on her shoulder. Akitsu blushed a little despite her sleepy yet melancholic lookle on her face.
"His hand, his gesture, his heart... It feels warm and pure..." She thought over Seishin talking as everything around her became quiet. "It's like a kindling flame soothing my cold heart...
"...I'll do what I can to make you no longer be a scrapped number." Seishin continued. "I know someone who could possibly help you make it happen. I will protect you with my life."
Akitsu's cold emotionless eyes bore into Seishin's as she sees the devotional spirit burning with in him. For the first time, she formed a small smile on her face.
(Flashback ends)
"Yes, I remember now." Seishin replied. "I didn't go back on my promise, Akitsu. I know someone who can help me help you no longer be a scrapped number. It's the guy you met while I was passed out: Kisuke Urahara."
"That's right, Akitsu." Kisuke included as he finished making one final pill for Seishin. "I saw your bio when I hacked MBI's mainframe. Seishin and I will be happy to help be able to emerge."
"Thank you... both of you..." Akitsu smiled a little.
Back at Hayato's...
"She... WHAT?" Hayato screamed at his sekireis. "What do you mean she's gone?!"
"We were close to capturing her until a young man stopped us from getting to her." Mitsuki exclaimed.
"Who was the young man you're talking about?" Hayato asked.
"He was the young man who saved the Flame Sekirei that night... Samayou of the North." Mutsu replied.
"Samayou of the North?" Hayato repeated with wide eyes and a surprised look on his face. "Seishin Samayou? So the sekirei who defeated Yomi belongs to that man?"
"We're sorry, sir." Himeko said.
"It's ok." Hayato said with a wry smirk on his face. "If the famous Samayou wants a fight then we'll give him a fight. We'll show him not to mess with me."
"How are we gonna do that?" Mitsuki asked.
"We'll search for him." He replied. "If we can't find them today, we'll find him tomorrow. I'll show him not to mess with me!"
"He's in one of those moods again..." Mutsu thought. "This is going to be a problem."
Back at Kisuke's, the two of them were looking at some blueprints, preparing to work on a solution to help Akitsu be able to emerge.
"Are you ready to do this, Seishin?" He asked.
"I was born ready..." Seishin replied and then turned to Akitsu. "It may take some time, but we'll create the solution needed for you to emerge. Are you able to wait, Akitsu?"
She slowly nodded and replied. "Yes, I can wait."
"Ok, let's get started, Seishin... oh, by the way, take this." Kisuke handed his the last pill containing Seishin's spiritual pressure. "This is my last one, however you'll only get half your strength back."
"Anything's better than nothing." Seishin said as he takes the pill and eats it. "Let's get started while we still have lots of time left."
"Got it." Kisuke said as the two of them began to work on the solution. Seishin took his combat pass out and turned back to normal to prevent any loss of power.

The two soul reapers began working on the solution in the shape of a simple bite size piece of candy. They then began using science to create the formula, so Kisuke brought Seishin and Akitsu down to his lab in the basement that's as big as the living room and the patio from Maison Izumo. They first took a sample of Akitsu's blood; which she volunteered initiatively, to begin the experiment and then combined it with other chemicals to see how it reacts
Elsewhere, Hayato and his sekirei team began their search for Seishin and Akitsu in Shinto Teiho, via limo. They only went the south, the east , and west sides of the capital; however no sign of the soul reaper or Akitsu. As for Seishin's sekireis, they're doing their usual: Musubi and Tsukiumi are training with Miya, Kusano's drawing pictures on the scrap paper, Kagari watching the news, Matsu looking through her computer, and Kazehana... sunbathing and drinking sake out on the roof until the sun began dieing down and night hits them.
Back at Kisuke's, Seishin and Kisuke were taking turns resting and experimenting. Kisuke was the one who's resting for some time while Seishin was working hard trying to find the perfect mixed chemicals that can mix well with Akitsu's DNA. While doing so, he watched Akitsu who was fast asleep on the couch. He paused to place a blanket over her while she slept soundly.
"Hang in there, Akitsu..." Seishin whispered. "I'll do all I can so you can be able to emerge."
Hour after hour, he worked on the experiment endlessly without any need of sleep. As the morning sun draws near, he found the perfect chemicals that works well with Akitsu's DNA. He then made the last touches to the experiment.
"I finally..." Seishin yawned, "done it... Akitsu is ready now..." Seishin went to the couch where Akitsu sleeps and then nods off. A short while later, he was in a strange dream. He was all alone in a white void; floating all around. He looked around to see what's going on, but all he sees was nothing but an endless white world.
"HELLO, IS ANYONE HERE?" He cried. "HELLO?"
Just then, he sees strands of dark violet aura were flying through the air and in the middle of it, meters away from Seishin was a black and violet swirling vortex the size of one person.
"We finally meet... Seishin Samayou..." Said the voice that sounds all distorted and hollow like.
"Who are you and how do you know my name?" He asked.
"Too slow to catch on, for a genius like you..." The portal began shrinking right in front of him until it was human shaped and then it appeared as a lookalike of Seishin and kis inner hollow. His eyes were black with his chrome colored corneas and black eye shadow under his eyes that stretches to the equal length of his eyebrows. A cruel wicked smile was worn on his face with his sharp fangs shown. His shihakushō was all black with mosaic markings all over it and his zanpaktou was just like Seishin's.
"You are not me!" Seishin barked.
"I am you..."Yami Seishin replied. "I am the inverted manifestation of the excess hollow energy that fed off your spiritual pressure. In a way, I am your true essence, your true shape of the darkness surrounding your heart... I am the TRUE you."
"That's a lie!" Seishin yelled. "I severed my darkness a long time ago."
And I've would've succeeded if it wasn't for you and your inner hollow." Yami Seishin replied. "Instead of giving into your true power, you suppressed it out of sheer will and your hollow managed to seal part of me in him while the rest was sealed deep in your inner world."
"So you're the one who almost made me cause an S-class alert in the Soul Society." Seishin said.
"...and it's gonna happen again." Yami Seishin replied. "With you as my main vessel once again."
" I won't! I shall not let you take control of me once again! Erupt, Reddnouva!" Seishin rebuked as he summoned his zanpajtou. "It's time I take you down!"
"Pathetic mortal..." Yami Seishin replied. "You are me, you will give into the darkness one way or another."
"I never had darkness in my heart!" Seishin cried as he clashed with his dark half. "You're just messing with my head, ya fake!"
"Me... a fake, huh? You think I am... a FAKE?!" Yami Seishin's spiritual pressure spiked tremendously, overwhelming Seishin's power. "I'll show you just how wrong you are...! Erupt... REDDNOUVA!" His zanpaktou began getting consumed by the chrome colored flames and after a few seconds, his zanpaktou was an all black blade with chrome drawn flames swirled around a vicious looking, mosaic designed dragon mark on the blade. The hilt was as long as his hand; the tsuba was shaped like bones from a dragon's claw gripping the blade and the pommel has a jewel, shaped like a dragon talon; filled with the very unstable hollow energy that's eating Seishin's reiatsu.
"You see, you pathetic boy... I have the same zanpaktou as you." Yami Seishin said while smirking maliciously. "But it runs on the very darkness only I possess that will soon overwhelm you!"
"That will not happen!" Seishin charged towards him at full speed. " I shall take you down ya fake!"
"Well then... JUST TRY TO TAKE ME DOWN THEN!" Yami Seishin charged as well towards him at full speed.
The two fighters clashed causing an explosion of flames to occur. Scarlet flames met with the dark violet flames as they both filled the white void they were in. Each attack was perfectly mirrored from the sword clashes to the specials. From their Hono Senko, to their Sen Sanzu and their powerful move: Hono Ryujin. They continued to attack endlessly without either of them stopping. The two performed one final Hono Ryujin, but their powers were so equal the attacks were canceled in the form of a giant explosion.
Seishin and his dark half returned to their original spots before the fight broke out. They both were in their Bankai forms but his dark half was a little more threatening than Seishin's. Seishin was out of breath and on his knee while his dark half looked like he hardly broke a sweat.
"What's the matter, Shinigami Captain? He taunted at him. "I thought you're supposed to take me, the 'fake' down."
"What about you?" Seishin rebuked. "If you're so strong, why didn't you kill me then when you awakened that zanpaktou of yours?"
"Because... I wanted to wait until the very day your very world of yours crumble down once more." Yami Seishin smirked wryly.
"I will never let a phony like you take me down..." Seishin growled. "I will not give up!"
"Deny it all you want... but it won't change your inevitable outcome." Yami Seishin replied. "You will always be me. Until then... enjoy your days of being the 'savior' while you still can. Yami Seishin made a menacing laugh as he turned into vapor and dissolved into thin air. Seishin growled as failed to take him down as he and the dream were engulfed in a white light as he woke up thanks to Kisuke and Akitsu.
"You ok, Seishin?" Kisuke asked. "It looks like you had a nightmare."
"I'm fine." Seishin replied. "Anyway I bet you got some great news."
"Yep." Kisuke smiled. "At last... we finally done it after several hours of experimenting (and accidents blown in their faces), we finally finished creating the perfect chemical that reacts well with Akitsu's DNA." He brought up a small vial with a sky blue liquid.
"Excellent!" Seishin cried excitedly.
"Indeed." Kisuke said as he took a Konpeito Sugar Candy ball and added a drop of the liquid chemical on it. "Seishin, since Akitsu met you, you should be the one who should give her this."
"Ok." Seishin replied and then turned to Akitsu. "Well this is it, Akitsu. Eat this sugar candy ball, it has the chemical needed to help you be able to emerge."
Akitsu nodded as she took the Konpeito ball and ate it. The three waited to see if any reaction will occur. The only reaction that occurred was that the crimson sekirei mark that was on her head had vanished. For the first time, her smile was revealed to Seishin and Kisuke.
"I'm finally able to emerge now…" Akitsu replied. "Thank you so very much."
"You're very welcome." Kisuke smiled while fanning himself. "However, it was Seishin who met you. He should be the one to deserve this credit."
Seishin chuckled a little while blushing as Akitsu approached him.
"Seishin... Thank you so much... for having me be able to emerge now." She leaned in and hugged him tightly; she felt a strong reaction to Seishin..
"It's no problem, Akitsu. I'm happy to help. " Seishin replied until he noticed that it's going on nine in the morning. "I better get to Maison Izumo, I know the others are worried about me."
"May I go with you?" Akitsu asked. "I don't have a home anymore."
"Sure, come on." Seishin replied until he then remembers something. "Kisuke how much longer is your invention?"
"It will be done in due time." Kisuke replied. "I'll let you know when it's time."
"Oh, ok." Seishin said as he turned into his Soul Reaper form and opened a senkaimon back to Shinto Teiho. "See you then, Kisuke." As Kisuke waved goodbye to Seishin and Akitsu, the sliding doors closed up. Not a minute later, Seishin and Akitsu arrived to Maison Izumo.
"Hey Akitsu, look..." He called her and pointed down the street. "Just down the street, Maison Izumo awaits us."
"R-Right." Akitsu replied while blushing and follows him. Just as they were home free, a thick mist enveloped the two.
"What's going on?" Seishin wondered as he and Akitsu stood close, back to back.
"Trouble." Akitsu replied. Just then he heard a slow clap and a familiar voice.
"You finally got the slip from us... Akitsu." The voice turned out to be Hayato Mikogami, revealing himself in the smoke. "So this is the man you were talking about. Seishin Samayou, correct?
"Who might you be?" Seishin asked in a serious tone.
"My ex-ashikkabi Hatato Mikogami." Akitsu replied. "He wants me back but, I chose to find you. However he couldn't take 'no' for an answer."
"Thank you so much for finding my sekirei, Samayou." Hayato replied. "I'll be taking her back now."
Akitsu stayed close to Seishin while glaring at him.
"Why you...!" Mitsuki growled until Hayato stopped her and then turned his attention back to the young shinigami.
"I don't think she wants to go with you." Seishin replied. "If I were you, I leave."
"Don't take me lightly, kid." Mikogami said. "If you think that you'll stand a chance against me and my sekireis, then you're sadly mistaken."
"...and if your sekireis think you'll stand against me, YOU'RE sadly mistaken." Seishin replied as he drew his zanpaktou out; his eyes shifted to Akitsu. "Akitsu go find cover. I'll handle this."
Akitsu nodded as she went to find cover.
"Oh, is that so...?" Hayato said while sporting a wry grin. "We'll see about that. Sic'em..." Seishin didn't say a word as he prepares to attack the four sekireis at once, until several large ice needles appeared between the two of them.
"Huh?" Seishin wondered until he turned to see Akirsu beside him. "Akitsu... What's going on?"
"Seishin... I am happy... that you saved me from Hayato." She said as she turned to Seishin while sporting a blush that matches the color of his long crimson hair.
"Akitsu, are you saying what I think you're gonna say?" Seishin anticipated what Akitsu was going to say.
"Yes, Seishin... I want to become your Sekirei." Akitsu said which shook Hayato and his sekirei to their cores.
"There's no way. Akitsu! You can't emerge be-" Hayato was about to finish his sentence until he was cut off by Akitsu.
"Thanks to Seishin... Now I can." Akitsu rebuked and then turned to Seishin. "Ever since that dream... you showed me your warm and pure heart... and that kindling flame of yours soothed my cold heart. For that I was able to know that you're the one for me."
"Akitsu..." Seishin said.
"Argh!" Hayato growled. "Stop them! Don't let Akitsu emerge with that man!" Mutsu and the others obeyed as that charged towards them.
"Seishin... please make me yours." Akitsu said. "It's time I repay you, by making me your sekirei."
"Ok, Akitsu... I shall." Seishin replied as he and Akitsu leaned in and planted her soft lips on his and then a burst of icy wind and ice flakes were formed.
"No! AKITSU!" Hayato cried, which also rang the ears of Musubi, Tsukiumi and the others girls as they ran outside to the entrance... Only to see Hayato and his sekirei cringing from the icy wind and the swirling cloud of ice and wind in front of them.
Back in the ice cloud, Akitsu was still kissing Seishin until she slowly pulls away with a smile on her face. Her sekriei mark began to glow.
"I can feel it... Seishin's warmth melting the cold and loneliness that surrounds my heart... Now I know how Homura felt; I am finally... emerged." She thought as she closed her eyes and wings of ice were revealed. Seishin was amazed and mesmerized at Akitsu's elegant wings. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at Seishin.
"You saved me, Seishin... and now I shall show you my eternal gratitude." Akitsu said as she turned to Hayato. "If I were you... I leave right now."
"You... my own sekirei been emerged by another ashikabi...!" Hayato said while being in shock. "I shall not accept this!"
"Better deal with it, rich boy!" Seishin said as he returned to his regular form. "Akitsu's my sekirei now."
"Damn you, boy!" Hayato growled. "Mutsu, Himeko, Taki and Mitsuki... Terminate her and that ashikabi!"
(Now playing action scene - Playing RWBY's This Will Be The Day)
"Leave this battle to me, Seishin." Akitsu said.
"Go ahead." Seishin nodded in response
Akitsu charged towards the four sekirei, each one attempting to attack her, but her agility outclassed their combined attacks. Seishin was amazed to see her new found burning will flowing in her now.
"Rock on, Akitsu!" Seishin cheered loudly. She smiled at her ashikabi cheering for her.
"Ok, ice girl... Take this!" Mitsuki roared as she threw her strings at Akitsu, but she repelled them with her enhansed Icicle Snow Storm.
Himeko jumped down on Akitsu, attempting to strike her when she's not noticing, but she sensed her from above and formed a sword of ice. The two clashed until she used her ice needles with her ice blade to counter Himeko's attacks, sending her next to a dazed Hayato.
Lastly Taki attempts to blind her with the mist she controls. She then turned to Mutsu, acknowledging him to make his next move.
"Now, Kasaite-" Just as Mutsu was about to used his move six bars of light trapped him. He turned to see Seishin after he used Bakudo #61: Rikujōkōrō.
"Nope... I won't let any earthquakes happen here!" Seishin said and then turned to Akitsu. "Akitsu, sekrieis at your six and ten!"
"On it!" Akitsu replied as she used her Icicle Snow Storm again as it spun around her in a 360, striking Mutsu and Taki. Then she jumped high into the sky and landed besides Seishin.
"How did you get so strong?!" Mikogami asked astonishingly.
"Seishin... he gives me strength..." Akitsu replied. "It's time, I sent you all back where you all came from!"
"Show then what you can truely do, Akitsu." Seishin said to her
"I shall... for my ashikabi," Akitsu replied as she prepares her Norito.
"Oh, no!" Hayato gasped.
"By the ice shards of my contract, my ashikabi's perils shall freeze in fear!" Akitsu said her very first Norito. "Hyōten!" Akitsu unleased a field full of ice around her and Seishin with several ice needles around it which could freeze anyone and anything in her path.
"Damn!" Mutsu muttered as he jumpped back and grabbed Hayato. "We gotta go, Hayato otherwise we'll freeze to death!"
"Damn it! Just when I'm so close!" Hayato muttered as he and the others retreated. As they got in the limo, Hayato stuck his head out the window. "You haven't seen the last of me, Samayou!"

Seishin and Akitsu saw Hayato flee; Akitsu then ended her move; causing the ground to melt and turn to normal. She then turned to Seishin as she hugged him tightly.
"Sekirei Number Seven: Akitsu, I accept you as my Ashikabi." She intruduced. "I shall remain by your side, my master and serve you forever."
"Master!?" Seishin cried. "You don't have to ca-" Just then, Akitsu pulled Seishin into another passionate kiss which brought her wings out once more. Just then, he heard a familiar voice.
"Seiiishin..." Tsukiumi appeared inches from him, looking furious. Seishin pulled away while blushing furiously.
"H-Hi Tsukiumi..." Seishin said nervously. "How are things?"
"Seishin... Thou weren't home last night..."
"I passed out from energy loss." He replied. "Kisuke saved me."
"Then tell me...the sekirei that's next to thee. Please tell me thou art not her ashikabi..."
"Well, umm..." Seishin tries to figure out how to explain this to Tsukiumi, until...
"Seishin is my master, now." Akitsu said as she wrapped her arms around Seishin's neck, making him blush.
"Mama-mia..." Seishin blushed and began feeling even more nervous.
"Seishinnn!" Tsukiumi growled as she charged her water powers. Seishin chuckled nervously until he bumped into someone. He turned and saw that it was his sekirei Kagari.
"Seishin..." Kagari appeared while showing her calm smile but striking a nerve. "For making us feel worried about you... AND MAKING MY RIVAL EMERGE, it's time we give you your punishment." Her flames were enveloped around her like streamers while she charges her powers up.
"Kagari!" Seishin shrieked until she made a barrage of fireballs in her hands. "Aw, crap..."
"Shall we, Tsukiumi...?" Kagari suggested.
"Lets, Kagari..." Kagari said as she and Tsukiumi began chasing after him.
(Now playing randon chase music - Yakety Sax by Boots Randolph (I can't help it... It's a funny song XD))
"AW, CRAPBASKETS!" Seishin cried as he started running from the water and flame sekrieis, aching to smite him. Akitsu stood next to Musubi, Kazehana and Kusano watching the whole thing.
"Does things like this always happen here?" Akitsu asked.
"Yep," Musubi replied and Kusano nodded. "But in the end, we all come to love one another."
Akitsu made a warm smile and giggled a little.
"I'm glad..." Akitsu said.
"GET BACK HERE, SOUL REAPER!" Tsukiumi and Kagari yelled.
"NOT AGAIN!" Seishin cried as he ran while almost getting scalded by the two girls.

Seishin: *Blushes a dark shade of red*
Akitsu: What about me, master? *Appears wearing a dress that ressembles an Ice Queen*
Seishin: *jaw dropped* Whoa! You look amazing! You all look amazing!
All girls: Thank you.
