Takamagahaakara2012: Hey everyone, Taka2012 here with another chapter for Sekirei EX II. This time we're continuing where the previous chapter had ended, but with few new twists I made. Also a special guest from the anime will make their appearance in this chapter as he will save a sekirei from being emerged by an abusive man. Hope you'll like it. Roll the chapter!
Sekirei EX II
Chapter 12: A Trip to the Hospital
The story continues with Uzume was walking out of the hospital. She was deeply depressed about what Kakizaki had talked to her about.
(Flashback)
"Now while we're on the subject, if you're up for the challenge..." Kakizaki fixed his glasses again as the sun gleamed against the lenses. "Higa's offering a chance for you to score a victory. This time it's gonna be against a sekirei in the Northern district of the capital."
"The North...?" Uzume thought until she realized who he's talking about. "No... Not Seishin and the others! Anything but them!"
"Just to make it clear, this is not an order." Kakizaki continued as he turned away. "You can take this challenge or you could just..."
Uzume struggled to say no, but alas she had no choice. Anything to keep her ashikabi safe.
"Fine... I'll do it..." She said which made Kakizaki smirked.
(Flashback ended)
"In order to keep Chiho safe, I have to do this..." Uzume thought as a tear ran down her face. "Seishin... Please forgive me for what I am about to do."
Meanwhile in the Soul Society, Ichigo, Rukia and Kisuke all arrived on the rocky center of the Seireitei that is called Sōkyoku Hill. The three then began synchronizing their timers for 24 hours, 15 minutes.
"Alright." Kisuke nodded. "Rukia and Ichigo, I need you to find some people that can help out with saving Seishin, -"
"How about me?" A familiar voice rang the ears of the three soul reapers as a beautiful black haired, tan skinned woman appeared behind them with her arms crossed.
"Yoruichi!" ichigo called out.
"If it's involving saving my favorite redhead, then i won't mind helping out." Yoruichi smiled at them.
"That's excellent!" Ichigo cried and sighed with relief.
"Ok, let's head to the lab to get my invention." Kisuke said.
"Right, let's go!" Ichigo said as he and the others head to the Department of Research and Development using their flashsteps.
Back in Shinto Teiho, Ku and Chiho were playing with a cat that Ku chased earlier. They laughed together while they petted the cat that is on her lap.
"Aw, isn't the kitty cute!" Kusano said while she petted the cat. "Are kitties your favorite?"
"Yeah, cats are my favorite." Chiho said with a smile. Just then the cat meowed and ran off.
"Kitty, come back!" Ku cried. "It ran away..."
"I'm sorry."Chiho said sadly. "It's my fault."
Kusano shook her head, disagreeing with what Chiho said.
"It not your fault that the kitty ran away." She cried. Just then she just noticed that Chiho is in a wheelchair. Chiho noticed and then she chuckled calmly.
"It's not that I can't walk," Chiho explained, "the doctor say that it would put too much strain on my body..."
"Are you sick or something?" Ku wondered.
"Yeah..." She replied. "But I am hoping i will get really well one day, and then i'll be able to run around again just like you."
Kusano remained calm with a straight face and then began walking towards her.
"You will..." Kusano said while she held her hand. Just then a familiar voice rang her ears.
"Hey, Ku!" Seishin cried. "Ku, where are you?"
"Ah! That's big brother!" Kusano gasped.
"It seems he's looking for you." Chiho wondered.
"That's right!" Kusano cried feeling nervous. "I saw the kitty and chased it without telling Big Brother what I was doing!"
"Then you better hurry back, ok?" Chiho said as she made a small but happy smile on her face.
"I sure will! Tale care!" Kusano said as she then started running to find Seishin, but then she stopped to turn back to Chiho. "Oh, hey wait!"
"What is it?" Chiho wondered.
"I'm sure you'll do it!" Kusano cried out to her. "You'll be able to run again, you hear!"
"I will. Thanks." Chiho replied as she watched Kusano nod and run off. Then she noticed the black stuffed bear on the ground; lying motionless and untouched. By the time she picked it up, Kusano was gone. Just then, Uzume arrived seconds after.
"Sorry for the wait." Uzume said as she then noticed the stuffed bear.
"What's that?" Uzume wondered.
Elsewhere, Seishin was just passing by a hospital looking for Kusano until he heard a female grunt of resistance and a male's gruff voice from the entrance. Seishin immediately hid in the bushes next to the entrance, just as the young man was coming out.
"I don't care if you like me," The man said as he came outside, "Master Higa gave you to me so you better get along with me or else there will be trouble."
"I rather have an ashikabi who's not like you!" The sekirei cried. She has light brown hair with blue ribbons woven in them and grey eyes. She wore a thigh length tight white gown with black stockings and matching black gloves. She also carried a massive hammer in her right hand.
"A sekirei!" Seishin thought, "Seems she's resisting that guy.
"I am guessing she haven't been emerged yet." His hollow said. "Good, time to save..."
Seishin's hollow fell on his knees; Seishin manages to catch him before he fell on the floor.
"Hollow!" Seishin called him. "You're getting weaker..."
"Heh, don't worry about me." His hollow replied weakly. "I'll rest up ok? In the mean time, you know what needs to be done."
Seishin nodded and continued to spy on the sekirei.
"You're heartless and abusive above all!" The sekirei shouted in rebellion as she freed herself from his grip.
"You selfish punk!" He barked as he slapped her hard in the face, causing her to fall to the ground. "You dare to talk in the face of your new master?! That's it, I will make you emerge and then give you the punishment you deserve."
He watched as the green hooded man tried to force her to emerge with him. Seishin gritted his teeth and tightened his fist in anger.
"That guy; treating a sekirei like that... and is forcing her to emerge?" Seishin thought as he was about to get up and slug him until someone had beaten him to the punch. Pun on what literally just happened. Seishin was surprised as an above average-height and slim young man with messy black hair, gray eyes, wearing a blue jean jacket over his white shirt and blue jeans appeared. Then he helped the young sekirei up.
"Are you ok miss?" The young man asked.
"I am now." She replied while sporting a light blush and a smile on her face. "Thanks for saving me from that man there."
"It's no problem." He said while feeling a sign of modesty. "I was in the neighborhood when i saw what happened. My name's Minato, Minato Sahashi."
"Umm, my name's Yashima; a hammer type sekirei... and I'm glad..." The sekirei said until she saw the young man getting up from that hard punch to the face. The young man turned around and glared at Minato protecting the young sekirei.
"What's the big idea, ya asshole!?" He yelled. "Get away from my sekirei!"
"Your sekirei?!" Minato rebuked as he glared at the other guy. "I don't think she wants to be yours, yet alone go with you! You think she's nothing but a tool in your possession, a slave to do your bidding. You know what, I don't like your kind and it's time you get the steppin', you hear!"
Growling, the man in the hoodie took his knife out and gripped it in his hands tightly.
"You are gonna regret ever talking down to me like that!" He yelled as he charged towards Minato with an intent to kill him. As he prepares to fight him, someone appeared in front of him as he caught his hand holding the knife. He then noticed the long crimson hair from a long time ago.
"Wait... that crimson colored hair," Minato said, "I recognize it!"
"Yep, it's been a while Minato." Minato looked at the red haired man as he turned around as he smirked.
"Se-Seishin?" Minato said his name.
"One sec." Seishin said to him as he turned his attention to the man in the hoodie. "Using a knife to kill someone, forcing a sekirei to join you and harming her like that are things I don't like from people like you."
"Damn! You're Samayou of the North!" He said as he noticed Seishin taking his knife, slamming it to the ground, and just as he was going to get it back, Seishin stabbed it with his zanpaktou.
"I think it's time someone should know their place." Seishin said as he punched him in the jaw so hard that spittle came flying out of his mouth and then made a powerful drop kick, sending him to a nearby bench, breaking it on impact.
"Yes sir, I'll remember that..." The guy in the hoodie said in a daze as he fell back and passed out.
"Hmph..." Seishin scowled and nodded as he turned to Minato and the unemerged sekirei. A smile was formed on their faces as he went to talk with them. A couple of minutes had passed as he and Minato were getting reacquainted. Minato told him he took off from college and was going to surprise his sister, Yukari. Seishin told him about his Soul Reaper business and his life as an ashikabi. The two happily chuckled.
"Man it felt like it was just yesterday, Seishin." Minato said.
"I know, the years had changed." Seishin replied. "But our brotherly bond remained the same."
"I agree, man." Minato shook his hand. Just then, Yashima approached Minato.
"What's up, Yashima?" Minato asked.
"Minato, right?" She asked. "Would you..." Yashima began blushing deeply as her heart was racing. Seishin noticed what's she wants to ask.
"Hmmm, are you running a fever?" Minato wondered.
"Minato, it seems Yashima wants to be your sekirei." He said as it got his attention. "You saved her after all."
"Yashima, is this true?" Minato asked her.
"Yes," She replied with a nod. "You other than Seishin have a pure heart. I want to be with an ashikabi who thinks of us more than just sekireis. Please make me yours."
Yashima gripped his coat as she begged Minato to make her emerge. Minato pondered over it until she made her decision.
"Ok, I'll be happy to be your ashikabi, Yashima." Minato said as he held her face gently. Yashima closed her eyes and puckered her lips. Seishin watched as both Minato and Yashima kissed and her light blue wings were shown.
"By the hammer of my contract, my ashikabi's agonies will be crushed!" Yashima recited her norito as she was enveloped in the blue light while carrying the massive hammer in her hands.
"Wow." Minato said as he was mesmerized by the light she was enveloped.
"You did a great job, Minato." Seishin smiled and patted his back. Minato chuckled sheepishly while he rubbed his head
"Sekirei #84: Yashima is my name and I am forever yours, Minato." She introduced as she hugged Minato. Minato and Seishin made a happy chuckle and then a familiar voice rang their ears.
"Big brother!" Kusano arrived seconds after Yashima introduced.
"Kusano, I was worried about you!" Seishin said as he hugged her gently. "Are you ok?"
"Uh-huh." Kusano relied. "Guess what, I made a friend."
"Hehe, me too." Seishin replied. "Kusano I would like you to meet my old friend Minato Sahashi and his newly emerged sekirei Yashima."
"Ah!" Kusano squeeled like a fangirl and ran towards them. "Nice to meet you!"
"Aw, you are such an adorable thing!" Minato petted her. "It's very nice to meet you too, Kusano."
"Me too, Ku." Yashima said. "I know we'll get along well."
Kusano giggled and nodded until she realized something; something she forgot.
"Oh, no! I forgot my bear!" Kusano cried. "I must had left it when i was playing with my new friend."
"That's terrible!" Seishin said. "We'll go look for your bear, ok?"
"We'll help too." Minaro said as he and Yashima joined in.
"Ok, then." Seishin replied as the four of them went to search around hospital outside for Ku's missing bear. It took several minutes of their time, only to discover that it's not there.
"Did you guys find it?" Seishin asked Minato and Yashima.
"No, we haven't." Minato replied sadly.
"Darn!" Seishin muttered. "Ku and I couldn't find it on our end."
"I'm sorry, Ku." Yashima said to her as she hugged her and then looked up to Seishin.. "Maybe your friend must be holding it. We would go in but the nurse told me that visiting hours were over."
"Don't worry, Ku." Seishin said to her. "We'll go see your friend tomorrow."
"Ok..." Kusano nodded a little. Seishin kissed her head and wiped her tears up, causing Kusano to smile a little. Then Seishin noticed the time is almost up.
"We gotta go, Seishin." Minato said. "We'll visit you guys sometime- Wait, where do you guys live?"
"You heard of Maison Izumo?" He asked.
"Maison izumo..." Minato pondered for a second until he remembered it. "I remember now! Yeah, I live not too far from you guys."
"Cool." Seishin replied as he and Minato exchanged phone numbers. "I'll check up on you later... Oh almost forgot!
"What's that?" Minato wondered.
"Tell your sis to visit me as well when she has the chance." Seishin replied.
"Ok, I will call her to let her know." Minato said as he watched him pick up Kusano.
"Alright, then. I'll talk with you later." Seishin said to the two of them; they waved back as they watched Seishin and Kusano vanish using flashstep. Minato and Yashima look at each other and chuckled as they, too left the hospital for home.
Meanwhile in the hospital, Uzume looked down at Chiho holding Kusano's bear.
"I asked that nurse on duty, Chiho and she hasn't seen the girl who looks like your new friend." Uzume said.
"Who knows..."Chiho answered. "Maybe she's an out patient, so maybe I'll get to see her again."
A faint smile appeared on Uzume's face as she sighed while she tries to tell Chiho something but stopped as she doesn't want to explain she was doing. Chiho noticed her odd behavior.
"Are you sad Uzume?" Chiho asked.
"What?! No, why wouldn't I be?" Uzume chuckled sheepishly, but Chiho saw through her like an open book.
"Come on, I can tell you are sad. I am your ashikabi after all." Chiho said which surprised Uzume as her pupils shrunk a little until they look like tiny dots. "You and I share a bond, Uzume. Whenever you're happy, it makes me happy too and likewise whenever you get, I get sad too... and even when you feel sad, you don't; you continue smiling just for me."
"Oh, Chiho...I'm so glad I'm your sekirei. " Uzume looked at her while she sported a blush on her face, from the very words Chiho said that were deeply moving.
"Aw, I love you so much!" Uzume smiled while she sported the same blush while she hugged Chiho.
"I love you too, Uzume." Chiho smiled as she hugged back.
Back at Maison Izumo, Kazehana, Musubi, Akitsu, and an impatient Tsukiumi, whom is pacing around the room, were still waiting for Seishin and Kusano to return from their outing.
"They art late!" Tsukiumi announced.
"Seishin and Ku did say they'll be back by now." Musubi said while she was looking at the clock. "I'm starting to get worried, guys."
"...And after he gave us that strict amount of time!" Tsukiumi exclaimed while crossing her arms and looking away like a impatient child.
"Calm down Tsukiumi, they probably were having a lot of fun that they lost track of time." Kazehana said and Akitsu nodded agreeing with her.
"WHAAAAT?! FUN?" Tsukiumi cried as she turned around. Just then she began thinking of what Kusano and Seishin might be doing, which then, made her more frustrated.
"I MUST FIND THEM, AND QUICKLY!" Tsukiumi screamed as she immediately ran out to find them.
"Geez, Louise... I can't believe you are even jealous of Ku." Kazehana asked.
Back in the Soul Society, Kisuke along with Ichigo, Rukia and Yoruichi were in the Research lab as Kisuke found the ingredients needed to make 'The Antidote.' Right now, he is currently getting the ingredients mixed.
"How much longer does it take for this antidote to finish, Kisuke?" Ichigo asked him
"It may take up to an hour to get it mixed up and about six or seven hours to stabilize." Kisuke replied.
"Ever since the day Seishin's hollow powers went berserk, Miyuri and Kisuke were secretly working on a cure to prevent Seishin's powers from going berserk once more. That's how 'The Antidote' was made." Yoruichi explained to them. "It's a serum that can combat the source of his hollow power and it could either stabilize it or completely destroy it depending on how bad the situation is."
"Destroy his hollow powers?" Rukia gasped. "We can't let that happen! Seishin loves his inner hollow; he was like a brother to him. It's too risky to do this."
"Rukia's right." Ichigo added. "There has to be another way to solve this!"
"Life is an equivalent exchange, Ichigo." Kisuke explained. "We all must give up something to attain something else. I'm sorry, but I don't think there's another way to save his hollow without harming Seishin."
"Tch!" Ichigo growled. "So in order to save Seishin, we destroy his hollow powers and a life within him? Sorry, I don't wan't to be part of this!" With anger in his eyes, he stormed out of the lab.
"Ichigo, wait!" Rukia cried out but was unavailable to reach out to Ichigo. Kisuke watched him leave before even he was going to say something.
"Seishin..." Yoruichi thought as she heeded Ichigo's words about Seishin and his brotherly bond with his inner hollow.
"I'm sorry, Ichigo..." Kisuke muttered as he felt bitter about the downside of saving Seishin. He resumed his work on getting the serum prepared with an unhappy Yoruichi and an upset Rukia accompanied him.
Meanwhile, Yukari and Shiina were walking through Shinto Teiho park as they were heading back home. The sky was a light orange with sherbet clouds floating in place while the park lights were just turning on. The two had stopped for a quick restroom break.
"I'll be right back, Shiina." Yukari told him. "I gotta take a quick restroom trip."
"Ok..." Shiina replied as he waited patiently. While he waited, he looked up and saw two people walking by as well. As his eyes widened, he suddenly saw the one sekirei that he and Yukari were looking for all this time.
"K-Ku...?" Shiina said.
At the same time, Seishin and Kusano were passing by, heading back to the inn. Kusano saw the look on Seishin's face; nervousness and fear filled his body up like a new pair of clothes as he remembered the dream he had the other night.
"You are afraid, aren't you big brother?" Kusano asked as it spooked Seishin and getting his attention.
"N-No. I am not afraid, Ku." Seishin formed a fake smile on his face, hoping Kusano could fall for it. Unfortunately, Ku can even see through his bluff.
"You don't have to hide it, big brother..." Kusano said. "You can tell me."
"Ok, I guess..." Seishin sighed as he and Kusano sat on a nearby bench. "Ku, remember the time I talked with you, Musubi and Matsu?"
"Uh-uh." She said as she shook her head.
"My powers are almost gone." Seishin said. "It's been happening since the bridge escape when I used the Final Burning Soul. Chunk after chunk my powers were being eaten until I don't have anymore.
"Big brother..." Kusano thought as she felt Seishin.
"I've been getting these nightmares of me unable to save you all with what I have and because of it, I was about to turn into a hollow... luckily I woke up before it happened. I am afraid that either I fail at protecting you all or I become the monster I never wanted to be..."
Seishin looked down with his hands covering his face, except the nose and mouth. Kusano got close to him and tapped his arm.
"Hmmm, what is it?" Seishin asked as he looked at her with little tears appearing on his face.
"Big brother?" Kusano called him as she gave him a comforting hug to cheer him up. "Powers or not... you will always be my big brother and I love you very much. I know you can overcome this, because if there's anyone that could handle this, it's you, big brother."
"Ku," Seishin said as he hugged her, "thank you."
"Ku... Ku, is that you?" The voice rang both their ears as they turned to see the young male sekirei with silver messy hair and blue eyes. He appeared in a white long sleeve shirt with thick black lines on the edge of the collar and cuffs of his shirt, and khaki shorts that extend to his knees.
"Who might you be?" Seishin wondered.
"Shiina?" Kusano said his name. "Shiina, you're here!"
"Ku, I'm glad you're safe!" Shiina said as he hugged her tightly. Seishin begam remembering what Kusano told him about Shiina.
(Flashback)
"Shiina's a boy; a little older than I am, but we were really close friends." She said as tears ran down her face.
"Ku…" Seishin thought as he felt sympathetic for her.
"Shiina has the opposite power that I have."
"Opposite…?" He wondered.
"Kusano has the power to control plants; a way of creating life." His inner hollow mentioned. "Whether there's a power to create life, there's a power to end life. Shiina has that power."
(Flashback ended)
"So he is the one..." Seishin thought. "He looks like a youndg lad."
"So you must be the one Kusano's talking about, huh?" Seishin asked the young man.
"Y-Yes," He answered nervously, "I'm Sekirei Number 107, Shiina."
Seishin smiled calmly he held out his hand and said, "Nice to meet you Shiina. My name is Seishin Samayou. I am a Soul Reaper and Kusano's ashikabi.
Shiina was rather surprised that someone like him would shake hands with him. He slowly held out his hand and shook Seishin's.
"Likewise." Shiina replied. "I didn't know you were her ashikabi. My ashikabi and I were looking all over town for her. I'm glad she's in safe hands."
"Same to you too." Seishin said with a calm chuckle. "Ku told me about you; you and Ku were very close friends, almost brother and sister if possible. You show deep care for Kusano and for that I want to say thanks... for doing what's right."
Seishin rubbed his head which made Shiina blush shyly and then his ashikabi arrived. To his surprise, it was none other than Yukari.
"Seishin, hey!" Yukari said. "I haven't seen you since we were all little. How you been?"
"I've been well, Yukari." Seishin replied with a smile on his face. Kusano looked up at Yukari whilt the two talked.
"Hey, is that Number 108?" She asked. We were looking all around for her! I didn't know you're her ashikabi!"
"Yeah," Seishin replied and then he explained the things that had happened since the three and a half month skip. From winging the other sekireis, to his clashes he had, to encountering her brother. He didn't tell Yukari about his power's almost gone. However it took up the rest of the time that he and Kusano should be returning to Maison Izumo.
"I see, you met my brother and he saved a sekirei." Yukari said. "Yep, that's Minato for ya."
"Yeah..." Seishin checked the time on his phone and noticed that they're late. "Oh, snap! We are so late!"
"Late? What for?" Yukari asked.
"I told my sekireis that I would return home at that designated time," Seishin explained as he gripped his combat pass and turned into a Soul Reaper, "and right now, we are very late."
"Oh, ok." Yukari understood. "I'll drop by Maison Izumo to see how you're doing."
"Ok, thanks." Seishin nodded as he picked up Kusano. "You and Shiina take care now."
"Bye, Shiina!" Kusano cried.
"Bye, Ku!" He replied as he and Yukari watched the two run up the stairs and left using flashstep. Suddenly, a group of thugs with their sekireis appeared in the park and surrounded Yukari and Shiina.
"What do you guys want?" Yukari glared at them
"We are looking for that Samayou kid." A gruff thug said.
"He's gonna pay for what he did to Junichi Tanigawa!" Another thug said. "Tell us where he is or else!"
Yukari remembered Seishin mentioning him in his explanation. They and their sekireis readied their weapons. However Yukari wasn't the least bit intimidated. In fact, she actually smirked, which surprised them.
(Battle music - Now playing Storm Center from Bleach)
"If you want to get to Seishin, you're gonna have to get past me!" Yukari said smirking with ambition then she turned to Shiina. "Shiina, ya ready?"
"Ready!" Shiina replied with his spirit glowing with determination as the thugs all began their assault on the Reaper Sekirei and Demon Ashikabi.
Elsewhere Tsukiumi; whom was walking down the street , was searching for Seishin and Kusano but to no avail. She arrived nearing the park he was at only to stop and think.
"Seishin did say he was going shopping... so where is he right now?" Tsukiumi wondered until she heard an explosion in the park.
"Damn, I hope Seishin's not in that batle!" Tsukiumi thought as she ran to check what's going on, only to see a sekirei battle. Luckily for Tsukiumi, Seishin and Ku weren't in there but she was surprised to see a group of sekireis taken down by the one they were fighting against. Tsukiumi stood on top of an obelisk watching the whole battle.
"Ready to finish this, Shiina?" Yukari cried.
'"Yes, I am ready!" Shiina cried as he watched the remaining three sekireis in that group try to charge at him with their weapons, intending to kill him. Shiina evaded their attacks easily like he has this sixth sense. After one last jump away from them, he was ready to end the battle. As the three attack him simultaneously, Shiina raised his hand out to the opposing sekireis and an invisible force stopped their attacks inches away from him.
"Death Garden..." Shiina declared his attack and with, dark shockwaves were pulsing out of his hand. Not only did it deteriorate the weapons the opposing sekireis have but ultimately defeated them.
(Song ended)
Yukari ran to Shiina and hugged him for his win; unaware of the other thugs running towards them with their knives in hand. Once Yukari saw them advancing towards them with no time to react, several water beams were shot passed them; immediately disarming them.
"If I were thou, I'd start fleeing!" Tsukiumi announced as she used her Water Orochi attack. Frightened, the thugs immediately retreated. "Hmph, vile curs!"
"You saved us, thanks!" Yukari said as she bowed.
"It was not a problem," Tsukiumi said modestly while sporting a light blush. "I was just in the neighborhood."
"Yukari look!" Shiina joined in. "This girl's a sekirei as well."
"Whoa, you're a sekirei?" Yukari asked.
"Yes, tis true. My name is Tsukiumi; sekirei number nine." Tsukiumi introduced.
"Wow, a strong sekirei," Yukari said until she noticed her endowed bust, which brings out her 'inner perverted' side. "with some huge boobs too! Can I touch it?"
Yukari sported a mild blush on her face with streams of drool dunning down her mouth as she slowly advances towards the young water queen. Tsukiumi however, grew very nervous from it... like 'Miya's Hannya mask' nervous
"Why me! I saved the life of a pervert!" Tsukiumi thought until Shiina tries to stop her by holding her back.
"If you were looking for Seishin, he went that direction." Shiina pointed for the path past the obelisk; the same way she came in.
"Thank you Shiina, I have to hurry, so I must excuse myself posthaste!" Tsukiumi said as she left immediately, ignoring Yukari's cries for her to return. Yukari and Shiina then noticed the MBI choppers heading to their direction. A while later she found him carrying Ku who was asleep. Seishin explained what happened to her. A bit of nods and a bit of creeped-out looks were made by Tsukiumi but she did understand.
"So that's how thou art tardy." Tsukiumi said.
"It's kinda random running into you." Seishin said to her which made her blush. "I am sorry that I worried you. Ku and I didn't get in any battles so we were alright."
"I'm glad..." Tsukiumi said. "There are multiple varieties of ashikabis around."
Seishin do know what she meant.
"Yeah, I know." He said.
"But thankfully... I'm glad thou art my ashikabi..." Tsukiumi held her arm.
"Tsukiumi..." Seishin said getting her attention. "I'm glad I have you as my sekirei."
Tsukiumi blushed a dark red and smiled while she leaned her head against his shoulder. The three walked home together.
Later that night Seishin began having the same nightmare; or in this case a premonition of an event that he feared that it wouldn't happen to any of his sekireis.
Seishin was lying on the ground again with his power almost completely gone. Musubi, his sekireis, and his other roommates(Miya and Uzume) badly hurt. Some silhouettes of some sekireis that opposed them appeared to make the finishing blow.
"NO!" He cried. "LEAVE MY FRIENDS ALONE! GET AWAY FROM THEM!"
They all snickered at the powerless shinigami as they prepared to finish his friends off. One by one, they terminated each of them in front of a shocked Seishin. His eyes widened with horror and dispair when the blood of his fallen sekireis was splashed on his face. Then some silhouettes of what appeared to be the opposing sekireis' ashikabis stood next to each of their respected mates and laughed at the Shinigami before them. Just then a familiar voice rang his ears.
"Don't resist it... Give in to the madness..." The voice said.
"No... No! I won't give in!" Seishin rebuked as he struggled to get back up
"Everyone has madness in their hearts..." The voice continued until it appeared in front of him. The same manifestation he encountered last time. He grinned and made a wry chuckle. "It takes time for it to build up until they coldn't surpress it any longer. Why won't you give in, Samayou?"
"Because... I don't want to be no freakshow for you to control!" Seishin yelled.
"No matter what you say... It won't change a thing" Yami Seishin said. "You'll soon give in to the madness... Just. Like. Me."
"Damn you!" Seishin attempts to punch him but his dark counterpart vanished without a trace. Then he saw his defeated sekireis and friends as his anger began building up but was quickly suppressed.
"It's only a matter of time..." Yami Seishin chuckled maliciously. "Only a matter of time..." Suddenly Seishin immediately woke up from his nightmare in a cold sweat.
"Damn it!" Seishin thought as he covered his eyes with his hand. Seishin's inner hollow watched what was going on from Seishin's inner world.
"Seishin..." His inner hollow said until he fell on his knees enduring a great deal of pain. Just then, a series of footsteps was heard from behind.
"It seems you're at your limits, huh pathetic hollow?" Seishin's hollow turned to see the manifestation of the unstable hollow energy standing before him. "The seal you bear in your chest is already at it's limit and it will soon be opened."
"Not yet, you bastard!" Seishin's inner hollow barked back as he summoned his zanpaktou. "I still have strength left to stop you and re-seal you again!"
"How?" Yami Seishin rhetorically asked and then chuckled. "You spent all this time sharing your power with that pathetic look alike, that it weakens your strength as well as the seal. It's only a matter of time until I unseal the remainder of my strength.
"We'll see..." Seishin's inner hollow charged at him, only to have him evade it using sonido.
"You're too slow!" Yami Seishin appeared behind Seishin's hollow. Before the inner hollow could react, he was instantly stabbed from behind by the manifestation with his mosiac zanpaktou.
"Like I said, it's only a matter of time, until I unseal it." Yami Seishin said. "...and my time is now." He began to laugh calmly as it builds up to a maniacal cackle while he forcefully pulled his blade out of Seishin's hollow. Black blood was spilled from his chest and his back as he fell to the ground.
"Damn... you..." Seishin's inner hollow said as he passed out while Yami Seishin absorbs the remainder of his powers from him.
"Now... to set the stage... for when Seishin loses everything!" He laughed hard and loud as his voice echoes the inner world as he used his powers to consume and alter it into his own twisted world.
The next day came and Seishin was drinking his morning tea while Tsukiumi was talking with the other girls.
"Paper, Rock, Scissors and Shopping Races shall not suffice!" Tsukiumi said. "Does thou have any suggestions we should compete in?"
"How about a best breast contest?" Kazehana suggested which made Seishin spit his tea out his mouth from that suggestion. "I think I got you girls down beat."
"Yeah, right!" Matsu joined in. "Mine will beat yours any day! Bring it on!"
"How about it, Seishin?" Kazehana suggested to him while sporting her lusty smile.
Seishin coughed a little from the unexpected spit-take. Then he chuckled nervously.
"I know, how about a fist fight competition?" Musubi suggested.
"Or an ice sculpturing competition?" Akitsu joined in. "What do you think, master?
"Umm... Just to be fair, we should do something that's a little peaceful..." Seishin suggested while he took a sip of his tea.
"What?!" Tsukiumi cried . "Seishin, thou saying thou want us to do that body-bosom contest."
Seishin immediately spat his tea out again.
"What?! No!" Seishin replied. Then his sekireis continued bickering(Except Kusano teasing him) trying to decide on what game to play while he stepped out the living room.
"So you managed to escape,huh?" Kagari rhetorically asked as she smirked.
"I guess you could say that." Seishin said with a small chuckle. Just then, he stopped chuckling a little as he remembered what Tsukiumi said.
"Kagari," Seishin called her, "There are still multiple ashikabis and sekireis out there that needed to score at least a win. The thing is... Is it right for us to do nothing at this moment? They're forcing those that met and fell in love to be separated. It hurts my heart just seeing or thinking of it because of Minaka's damned rule."
"Seishin," Kagari wrapped her arms around Seishin from behind, cheering him up. "I would say that there might be something you can do, but I know you have the answer to it. As for us sekireis, we'll be with you all the way."
"You're right..." Seishin nodded.
"One other thing, Seishin..." Kagari continued. "Kusano and Matsu told me and the rest of us about your risk of being a hollow. Just know that if it happens, we'll save you."
Seishin nodded which made Kagari smiled. She kissed his cheek and then left for her room.
"I believe in my sekireis as much as they believe in me.. We'll pull through, together." Seishin thought as he looked at his tightened fist. Just then, his sekireis arrived to see him.
"Seishin, we decided to settle this with mud wrestling!" Tsukiumi told him.
"What?! Mud wrestling? Who's idea was that?" Seishin exclaimed.
"It was mine, master." Akitsu said. "I haven't tried mud wrestling... or any wrestling in general, so why not now?"
"I just knew things were gonna get messy, but NOT LITERALLY! Mama-mia..." Seishin thought.
One LONNNNNNG mud wrestling match later...
"Wow, you really did it this time, huh girls?" Seishin chuckled nervously as he looked at each of his sekireis covered in mud. He sported a dark red blush on his face.
"Yes, I finally won!" Tsukiumi announced triumphantly.
"...and I came in second!" Musubi added.
"I came in first place for making meatballs!" Kusano said as she made a pyramid stack of mudballs.
"Darn, I want to go with master..." Akitsu sulked.
"Don't worry, we'll have another one one day." Kazehana said. "We'll even bring Kagari in the mix as well."
Seishin overheard Kazehana and blushed darkly again as he chuckled nervously. A short while later, Kusano, Tsukiumi and Musubi were all dressed up waiting outside for Seishin. He then came out in his Soul Reaper form with Matsu.
"Aw, you guys didn't have to go with me." Seishin said while brushing the back of his head. "I'm only going to the hospital to get Ku's doll back."
"Going with you IS the prize for first and second place." Musubi said with her usual cheerful mood.
"I have won one of our contests... so there better be a reward." Tsukiumi said as she, Ku and Musubi went to the front gate. Seishin chuckled as he was about to go with them until Matsu stopped him for a second.
"Seishin, wait..." Matsu called him. "Having Musubi and Tsukiumi with you I'm sure you'll be safe. But no matter what don't let your guard down."
"Right, thanks." Seishin nodded.
"One last thing." Matsu warned him. "Kisuke told me you are dangerously low on power. Take this last pill; however it only has a third of your spiritual pressure left. But if you're gonna remain in your Soul Reaper form longer, Kisuke left me one thing to say to you."
"Yeah? What's that?" He asked.
"Don't... and he means DON'T activate your bankai." Matsu said while she fixed her glasses.
"I understand..." Seishin replied quietly as he tightened his fists up. "See you when we return."
Seishin walked to the girls while he ate the last pill.
"What was that about?" Musubi wondered.
"It's nothing," Seishin replied, "anyway we could be able to make it to the hospital faster if I use flashstep."
"Anything to get us there posthaste." Tsukiumi said as she, Kusano and Musubi held on to him.
"Alright, here we go." Seishin said as he immediately used flashstep; taking the girls with him. Matsu watched them left but though they're gonna be ok, she has a feeling something bad may happen over there soon.
Back at the Soul Society, Kisuke poured 'The Antidote' into a special needle and then handed it to Rukia.
"Rukia this needle is capable to pierce even an espada's hierro." Kisuke explained. "Stab the needle into Seishin's neck while he's a hollow when his guard's down."
"Right." Rukia said while thinking over what Ichigo said to them. Just then, Ichigo returned.
"Ichigo!" Yoruichi said
"You're back, Ichigo!" Rukia said.
"Ichigo, you returned!" Kisuke said.
"Yeah, yeah..." Ichigo said while looking away from Kisuke. "I'm not gonna do this for you, hat and clogs... I'm only doing this to help Seishin. When you return, you better owe him an apology."
"I... I understand..." Kisuke looked down a little.
"As for additional support," Ichigo continued. "I thought we may have her aid us..."
"Who exactly, ichigo." Rukia asked.
"Come on in..." Ichigo said as a familiar figure entered the lab. A short and petite woman with chin length dark green hair and purplish-red eyes appeared. She wore a short shihakushō that only goes a little below her waist with a white band around the waist and knee high white socks.
"Nozomi!" Rukia cried when she saw her.
"I ran into her when I stormed out the lab." Ichigo said. "I told her what's going on and she's willing to help."
"Is that true?" Yoruichi asked her.
"Yes." Nozomi replied. "Ichigo and Seishin were my closest friends alongside Kon. They did all they could to protect me long ago and now, I'm stronger than ever! Arazome Shigure and I are ready to save Seishin."
"Ok then..." Kisuke joined in. "We'll split up into two teams. Yoruichi and I will go see Yamamoto and request an immediate meeting with all captains. Ichigo; you, Rukia and Nozomi will go to the World of the Living and save Seishin.
"Understood." Nozomi and Rukia said but Ichigo was walking to the door without a word.
"Ichigo..." Kisuke called him as he stopped. "I'll do all I can to bring Seishin's hollow back."
"I better hope you kept your word, Kisuke..." Ichigo said. "But until Seishin is back, full powers and all... I will never forgive you."
Kisuke looked down from Ichigo's cold words.
"Ichigo!" Yoruichi yelled at him.
"It's ok, Yoruichi. I deserve what he said." Kisuke said while he looked up at Ichigo. "Just save Seishin... please, Ichigo."
"Very well..." Ichigo nodded. "Let's go, Rukia and Nozomi."
Kisuke watched Ichigo as he and the girls immediately left for the senkaimon.
"Let's go, Yoruichi." Kisuke said. "We have a Soul Reaper's power to restore."
"Hmm... Ok, Kisuke." Yoruichi nodded as the two flashstepped to Yamamoto's office. Back at Maison Izumo, Matsu arrived to her room with Kazehana drinking her sake(as usual), and Kagari as she watched what's going on.
"They should be arriving there any second now." Matsu said.
"They're just going to the hospital, Matsu." Kazehana said. "Why do you have your panties in a bunch about this?"
"I don't know but I'm chucking it up to a gut feeling." Matsu replied.
"A gut feeling?" Kagari wondered.
"A sekirei," Matsu said, "and it's heading for Seishin and the others."
Meanwhile in the hospital, Seishin was in his regular clothes seconds after they arrived. He and the girls went to the checkout desk to ask a nurse something; while at it, he turned his phone off.
"Pardon me, nurse." Seishin said
"How may I help you?" The nurse kindly asked.
"We're looking for a patient..." He replied.
While Seishin was talking with the nurse, Uzume was wallking by holding some blankets; only to encounter Seishin and the others. The only person who saw Uzume was Kusano.
"Uzume it's you!" Kusano said. Seishin, Musubi and Tsukiumi turned their attention the second Kusano said her name.
"Hey, Uzume." Seishin and the others greeted.
"Hey guys," Uzume said while chuckling nervously. "Funny thing running into you here.
Shortly after, Uzume took them to a patient's room. In there, was Ku's friend and Uzume's ashikabi... Chiho.
"It's great seeing you again." Chiho said. "I didn't even know you were friends with Uzume."
"So this is the girl Miya talked about and the one I saw in my dreams." Seishin thought as he remembered what Miya told him.
(Flashback)
"Well, Seishin; I don't know much of the details about this, but I did ask her once and she said that she made those for one special person…" Miya continued.
"Just one…?"
"That's it… She only did it to see her smile." Miya resumed. "From everything she told me, this person's been in the hospital for a while and Uzume gets to see her occasionally."
"I feel sorry for her." Seishin looked down. "Do you think it might be her ashikabi, Miya?"
"I don't really know, Seishin." She replied. "She hasn't spoken about that to me, but I know their bond is very strong."
"I believe so…" Seishin said.
(Flashback ended)
"No doubt about it..." Seishin thought. "But what happened that made her be hospitalized?"
"Uzume, I am glad you're ok. We were worried." Musubi said.
"Yes, you have disapeared with nary a word." Tsukiumi joined in.
"Sorry, I've been meaning to call you guys, but my hands were full." Uzume said while she brushed her head. "Since you're here I might need a favor for you two to do for me."
"What would that be?" Musubi wondered.
"It's private, can we talk somewhere else; perhaps outside?" Uzume suggested.
Matsu back at the inn continued looking up for what's going on with Seishin and the gang; so far no signal from him.
"Damn it, now I can't check up on him!" Matsu groaned. "Why did he turn his phone off?"
"They do ask you to do that in hospitals, ya know." Kagari said which made Matsu wide eyed as she figured out the pieces to the puzzle... In this case, a sekirei termination trap.
"Now I know why I had that gut feeling!" Matsu cried. "I remember that Uzume's ashikabi's hospitalized!"
Suddenly a call came and Matsu immediately answered it.
"Yes, Kisuke?" Matsu asked until she was speechless at what he's saying to her. "Really?! Damn it! Ok then..."
"What's is it?" Kagari asked her while she hung the phone up.
"Remember what Ku, Musubi and I told you two?" Matsu asked. "Right now, not only Musubi and Tsukiumi are in danger, but Seishin's in danger as well!"
"Oh, no!" Kagari said. "I'll go on ahead!"
Kagari immediately ran out the room and Kazehana was soon coming out as well. Matsu stopped her.
"Kazehana, wait!" She called out. "If things get bad, call me ASAP and if worse come to worse, I'll join you."
"We can't have that again." Kazehana chuckled. "This city's trying to recover from the last time you ventured out. Besides if it involves a certain someone you mentioned, it's only fitting that I settle things. She and I have unfinished business... and if they target my darling shinikabi, I won't hold back."
Back at the hospital, Ku and Chiho were talking about the costumes she wore, Seishin was waiting for the girls to return.
"Strange, the girls should be back by now..." Seishin thought as he turned to look at the window. Fortunately he spotted someone he knew from before: Kakizaki. He glared while gritting his teeth. "...and I knew something was fishy about this! That bastard in the business suit's the same guy that tried to get Kagari that night!"
"Hey Chiho, can you check on Ku for me?" Seishin asked. "I'm gonna get a drink."
"Ok, hurry back." Chiho replied as she watched him leave.
"Just like my dreams I had before!" Seishin thought. "It all makes sense now! That man and Higa are the ones responsible for blackmailing Uzume and forcing her to do such things!"
Seconds later, he arrived outside and hid himself so he could spy on what Kakizaki's doing.
"I'm sure it's just a coincidence;" Kakizaki said on the phone, "he brought three sekireis with him and two of them were lead away. There's a chance we might need back up. Roger that, reinforcements will come when needed. Don't worry, as long as her ashikabi's life at stake, Number 10 will do what we ask her for."
"Damn them!" Seishin gritted his teeth in anger as he overheard what Kakizaki said. His right eye began hollowfying and his combat pass is nearing its breaking point. He stood up and changed into his Soul Reaper form as he began walking towards Kakizaki.
"She won't hesitate to terminate them, sir." Kakizaki saod as he made a smug smirk. "After all, Number 10's our own personal puppet."
"Hey, Asshole!" Seishin barked at Kakizaki, getting his attention. The second he turned around, Seishin threw a powerful punch which sent him down to the ground. Not only it shattered his glasses, but bruised his nose badly.
"What.. the..." Kakizaki sat up only to see Seishin standing up and holding his phone.
"Hey... Are you the asshole, that secretary call you: Izumi Higa?"
"Who is this..." Higa said on the phone in a rather serious tone.
"I'm the guy who will save Number 10's ashikabi!" Seishin rebuked. "If you send any sekireis after mine, I will stop them... personally!"
"Samayou of the North!" Higa gasped.
"No one will harm my sekireis and my friends...!" Seishin said. "Not even you... or that bastard secretary of yours!"
Kakizaki watched as Seishin insulted then crumpled his phone to pieces and tossed the pieces to Kakizaki. Seishin then took his cell phone out and turned it on
"Damn you!" Kakizaki muttered.
"Damn yourself, asshole!" Seishin immediately started running to look for Musubi and Tsukiumi. At the same time, he immediately called Matsu.
"Hello, Seishin?" Matsu said.
"Matsu, Tsukiumi and Musubi are in danger, I need additional help right now!" Seishin said.
"I'm way ahead of you." Matsu replied. "Kazehana, Akitsu and Kagari are on your way as we speak!"
"That's my girl! Thanks!" Seishin replied as he hung up. "Musubi! Tsukiumi! Hang on, your shinikabi's coming!"
Elsewhere, Musubi and Tsukiumi stood outside waiting for Uzume, unaware that they are in a trap.
"Uzume's keeping us waiting for a while." Musubi said.
"Yes, I agree with thee, Musubi." Tsukiumi replied. "I am losing my patience here!"
"I'm here..." Uzume said as it caught the girls' attention. To their shock they discovered that Uzume IS the mysterious Veiled Sekirei.
"It is her; the Veiled Sekirei!" Tsukiumi declared.
"Uzume is that you?" Musubi asked worrily.
"Yes, it is..." Tsukiumi said.
"So... Could you two die for me?" Uzume asked bluntly.
Seishin: DAMMIT! I knew Uzume's the Veiled Sekirei and what's worse, Musubi and Tsukiumi are in danger.
Taka2012: How you're gonna do that?
Seishin: I have no choice... I'm going to use my bankai to turn the tide of the battle. Don't bother saying that it's dangerous, Taka. Desperate times call for desperate measures... and I AM THAT DESPERATE!
Taka2012: I'm not stopping you... It is your choice. Just save those girls, Seishin.
Seishin: I will... Wish me luck Taka. *Leaves the room*
Taka2012: Well... this is it. Uzume vs Musubi and Tsukiumi and Seishin's gonna try to stop it from happening. Until then, Taka2012's signing off and praying Seishin will save them before the monster within Seishin surfaces... Good luck, Seishin. *Turns off camera*
