"Feelin better today?" asked Manny, smiling shyly as she was at her locker, waiting for her to come in.
Emma eyed Craig standing with Manny, just finding it crazy they were back together..but I guess they had been through a lot. And who is she to judge Manny for dating a guy who was 'trouble'.. Jay was KING of trouble.
"Were you sick?" Craig asked concered
"No." Emma groaned and shot Manny a look, "It's private." she loved Craig like family, they grew up together cause of their parents being friends..but her moody state because of a certain bad boy was nobody's buisness!
"Oh, ok." blinked Craig
"Ems touchy on the subject." explained Manny, "It's not a big deal."
Emma snickered. It kinda was. She was in love with a bad boy. Emma's head finally snapped up and she stared ahead into her locker.
Oh my god. In love.
"I'm in love with Jay Hogart." she bluntly said. Still staring blanky.
Manny's eyes widened, and Craig blinked again, tilting his head confused. Wow. That was a lot to take in. That guy was trouble.. he didn't know Emma would ever want to get mixed up into that.
"Well.." Craig coughs, "That'd be... shocking to me to if.. I were.. inlove with him too." he awkwardly spoke, not knowing what to say.
If Emmas eyes weren't wide enough, when she heard she said that out loud, her eyes bugged out and she groaned, closing her locker and walking off fast.
When she turned the corner she bumped hard into Peter and he smiled, "emma, hey."
"hi" she said too quickly and coughed crossing her arms, "W-what are you doing tonight?"
"nothing. You wanna hangout?" he asked, a bit shocked. Emma hadn't really shown interest in him back, so this was different.
Emma was desperate.
"Yeah! After school?" she asked and he nodded.
"See you at 3." he assured and smiled once more at her before walking off.
Emma took a deep breath and turned to walk off for Alex to shove by her. She again, was pushed up against the locker.
"Geez Alex, try excuse me for once!" snapped Emma as Darcy walked by.
"Ugh I know right?" Darcy asked, "No manners on that girl. Have you seen Manny?"
"With her boyfriend." Emma said, rolling her eyes.
This place was turning into a zoo.
Meanwhile, Alex chased down Marco, "Can you please let me talk!?"
"No! No you said enough!" Marcos eyes burned with hate when he turned to Alex, "Can't believe I considered you a friend! How could you tell my dad yesterday that Dylan was my boyfriend!?"
"I thought he knew!" Alex lied.
"Bullshit, Alex!" Marco had tears and shook his head, sizing her up and down, "You're not one of us, you don't belong with us."
Alex stepped back, a little stung by his words and glared back harshly, "I don't wanna be in your stupid cult club anyways."
"Coulda fouled me." snapped Marco, "Little Alex, trying to fit in." he walked off with that, "You're pathetic." he taunted over his shoulder.
Alex blinked
Wait.
That sounded familiar..
Alex remembered her very first text from 'A' and remembered he/she said the exact same thing.
"It's Marco." Alex said, bursting into the Dot and walking to Jay and Spinner at the counter. Spinner was working and gave her a wierd look, "Marco is A."
Jay laughed a little. Marco? He wasn't so threatneing.
"How do you know?" Spinner eyes Alex.
Alex rolled her eyes, "He taunted me the same way 'A' did when it started last year. He said 'poor little Alex'." she showed them the text, proving her point.
"Ironic." insisted Jay, "I can't see the homo being so hateful plus.." he looked to Spinner, "Isn't he your friend?"
Spinner winced, "Not since Darcy and her holy club decided to crash their gay rights rally at school the other week."
"Really?" Snickered Jay. Wow..what Spinner was doing to get this girl to... do nothing, because she's so virgin Mary.
"There you go!" Alex points, "and god knows how many times you called him a Homo to his face." she taunted Jay.
Jay thought about it and shook his head, "I can't see it being him. Why'd you guys get in a fight anyways?"
Alex looked off and huffed, "He-..'A' sent me a text to tell his Dad he was gay."
"'A' is back, why didn't you tell me!?" Spinner spat at both of them
Alex shook her head, "It was just me, I wanted to tell you guys but you were so damn busy." she snapped at Jay, "And I thought maybe 'A' was just harressing me.."
"No, I knew.." Jay drifted off, looking guilty, "Emma got a text when I was with her."
"Wait." Spinner put his hands up, "So you.." he pointed at Alex, "Kept VERY important information from us when we are suppose to be working together. And you." he pointed at Jay, "Told us we should stay away from the people we 'care' about yet you were around Emma again?"
Jay scowled, "Trust me, it wasn't like that."
"Point of the matter is.." drifted Spinner, rolling his eyes, "We aren't working together.. we're stronger when we do."
They nodded, that was true.
"Now." Spinner tried to make sence of this Marco thing, "He wouldn't text you to tell his Dad he was gay if he was 'A'. Marco is so afraid of coming out it took awhile for him to even date Dylan." he explained
Alex looked away, true. Maybe she was just so mad at Marco and wanted an excuse to hurt him the way he just hurt her.
Did he think she didn't know she didn't belong? Only reason she tried was cause she liked Paige. What a jerk Marco could be
"Can't believe you told his Dad he was gay.." admits Spinner
Alex felt her gut feel bad and she tried to ignore it, "Whatever." she snapped
"Anything for people to not find out you are, huh?" taunts Spinner.
Alex clenched her fists and Jay went between them, "Alright!" he says, "So.. the most important thing here is that..'A' is back. And we need to team work again like the ol' scooby gang."
They rolled their eyes, but nodded.
