"The premier of Jay and Silent Bob. Emma I'm so excited!" Manny squealed, getting ready for her movie date.
Remember that film Kevin Smith did in Degrassi the other year? Tomorrow night is the night it's released.
"Yea." Emma nodded bluntly, staring at her homework on her bed but not really going through it.
"Em! For once be excited and focus on me! I'm the star remember?" teased Manny.
"Oh you're the star alright." J.T taunted, coming down the stairs to her and Emma
Emma passed Manny a small smile, "I am excited for you." she insisted and waved a bit to J.T.
"Not to stop your exciting lives but.." drifts J.t "When you two going to tell me you KNEW Liberty was pregnant?"
"J.t.." Manny didn't know what to say.
Emma stood, "I-"
"Save it. You know, I thought we were close friends." he snapped at them, "We aren't though, are we? Some stranger has to tell me other than my own best friends." he snickered and turned.
"J.T it wasn't our place!" insisted Emma.
"She's four months along!" yelled J.t, "When were you going to prepare me? A month before she gives birth? So I have no money to give her? No support? Or after she gives birth and I'm not ready at all and you make me out to be the bad father everyones going to think I am."
"Nobody thinks that." whispered Manny.
Jt sneered at them, "No, because I won't let them. I'll stop at nothing to be a good dad and us? We're done. We are NO longer friends." with that, he turned and walked off, slamming the door behind him.
Emma jumped by the slam and passed Manny a sad look.
"What stranger told him?" Manny asked curiously.
Outside Emma's house, J.t flipped his phone up, texting back his 'mystery' texter.
'thanks for telling me who my true friends are- J.t'
A texted back.. 'Just looking out for you. Stay away from those bitches-A'
J.t's stomach turned a bit unsure if he'd go as far as calling them 'bitches' , but if they were keeping a secret like that, he would stay away from them. He walked off madly.
The next day at school, Emma couldn't believe the paparazzi outside the school, must be for the movie about to be leaked tonight.
"Hey Em, seen Manny?" Craig asked, coming over.
Emma sighed, shaking her head, "Not since last night when she was picking her clothes out for the premiere tonight."
Craig laughed, "Yah she was pretty excited, are you going?"
"Nah.. no ticket." she declared with a shrug.
Craig pouted for her, "Well, I'll let you know how it goes." he smiled then stopped, seeing someone come over, "tell me how this goes." he whispered and left.
Emma turned, confused and then saw Peter. Her mouth dropped and they still hadn't talked since he stormed off after Jay kissed her
"Ok, I'm ready to talk." he declared.
Emma swallowed hard and looked down, "Peter I don't know what to say. That kiss was.." she looked around for the word.
Perfect.
Shocking.
Not the first her and Jay had shared..
Peter took her face looking distraught as hurt and smiled softly, "Hey, if you tell me it meant nothing, then I forgive you.. and I have two passes to the premiere tonight that'd I'd LOVE to take my girlfriend too..if you'd have me"
Emma smiled a little, but sadly, but also knew Peter was her goal on trying to get her mind off Jay.
"YOU are perfect." she insists, ignoring his 'tell me it mean nothing' demand, and he took it, letting her wrap her arms around him and kiss him.
Emma cringed, feeling how wrong this was.
Meanwhile, Alex charged around the school until she bumped into Kevin Smith, "Hey!" he greeted.
"hi." Alex greeted, giving him a wierd look as he handed out a ticket to her
"Here is your pass to tonights party." he confirmed, smiling.
Alex eyed it wierdly and pointed to herself, "My names Alex.." she swore he had the wrong person.
Kevin laughed, "I know, Paige asked me to maybe sneak another ticket for her..for someone really important to her she'd like to spend tonight with."
"She said that?" Alex asked, her heart fluttering a bit.
Kevin smirked, already knowing these two girls had a thing by how obvious Paige was the other day, "You two have fun." he said.
Alex nodded and looked down at the ticket, "Oh wait! Have you seen.." when she turned, he was gone. She huffed, "Paige?.." she looked around, not seeing the girl for two days now.
Hmph, the Queen B was probably getting as fancy as she could for their date tonight.
Alex smiled. A Date. With her and Paige.
"I have a date." Alex said happily, catching up with Jay who just walked by.
He snorted, "Thrilled." he said sarcastically.
"With Paige." she stuck her nose up, knowing he HAD to find that at least some what impressive.
"Grand." he said even more sarcastically and she gave him a look til he snickered, "Where is the star of the show?Thought her and Slutos would be yucking this media up." he points to the reporters and cameras outside.
Alex tilted her head, "That's true.. she should be here, but I can't find her."
"you can't?" repeated Jay, just as confused. That made no sense. When would Paige ever give up this opportunity? She loved being the spot light
Suddenly something went through Jay's head.
Meanwhile, Emma walked into the cafeteria and smiled seeing Toby and... J.t. When they saw her slow down to go sit with them, they glared and Emma coughed awkwardly, turning and walking off.
Toby mad at her too?
Emma was suddenly feeling a little horrible
At another table, Jay sat down next to Spinner who opened his diet coke, "I have to confess something." Jay admitted.
What Spinner said the other day about not helping Emma if he had to, kinda hit Jay. He couldn't ALWAYS be around to help her, so if Spin knew something were to happen, he'd depend on his best friend to help.
Spinner gave him a look.
"The other day 'A' asked me who your biggest weakness was out of girls." Jay explained.
Spinner tilted his head annoyed, "And you said Darcy, which led you to believe too that she was kidnapped? It's fine. She's fine. 'A' was just messing with us and I'm sorry for what I said about Nelson."
"I didn't say Darcy." Jay said, swallowing hard, "I said Paige Michealchuck."
"Paige will always mean something to me, but we're over." Spinner leaned closer, whispering, "And I think she's gone a little lesbo with Alex." he giggled-
"Shut up." snapped Jay, "Alex hasnt seen Paige in two days, and since I said Paige and not Darcy? I think we were worried about the wrong person." Jay gave him a serious death look, to put this together.
"Oh FUCK."cursed Spinner and him and Jay got up, running out.
"What's with them?" Manny asked, stopping by Emma.
"Who knows." EMma shook her head, so sick and tired of trying to figure Jay out, "But." she insisted, nodding to their table, "We are no longer accepted to our table."
"Toby too?" taunts Manny, seeing both boys glaring over, "Someone should tell J.T that Toby knew too."
"Whatever, let them be little immature boys." Emma insisted, "It was the first reason why Liberty was scared to tell J.T"
"mhm!" agreed Manny and squeeled, "Can we please finally talk about tonight?"
"Ofcourse." grinned Emma, "Now that I'm going thanks to Peter." the two happily laughed and got excited.
